Speaker 1 (00:05):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with TIF on Hi.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
We're just before nine o'clock. At nine oh five is
when you have that chance to score one thousand bucks
and a free trip to our iHeartRadio jingle Ball in
New York starring Katie Perry.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
So don't go fine. Let's start off with Hurricane Milton.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
Now sun is out officially daylight, and we're starting to
get a little bit more insight as to.
Speaker 1 (00:28):
What happened with Florida.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
You know, yesterday we had said that the track was
going to go a little bit further south CS to
Key and Sarasota really got hit with more of the
eye of the storm. Tornadoes were the big thing that
I didn't I kind of did not have that one
on my bingo card as much as I had storm Serge,
et cetera on there. Here is Governor DeSantis.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
There's already been one hundred and sixteen tornado warnings, with
nineteen confirmed touchdowns throughout the state, nine flash flood warnings,
and four additional flood watches, with many many more to come.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
You know, definitely some fatalities in this, of course, three
million people at least are without power and some without
cell service, and there's flooding and outside of storm search,
there was actually you know, eight to ten inches of
rain in some areas. Tampa, Florida's Tropicana Field, the roof
was ripped off of that. That was more of a
housing facility for crew and workers and electricity workers rather
(01:29):
than like a storm shelter, not that there's any difference,
but it wasn't like families and dogs there.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
They ripped the roof right off.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
I did get a text message from my mom about
fifteen minutes ago that she is okay, and that was
really the first I had heard from her since we
talked to her on the show yesterday at this time.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
So that was a big relief.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
And I'm hoping that if you have family and friends
down there as well, that there's a relief coming your
way too. Anderson Cooper was broadcasting live when he was
hit with a piece of the debris.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
That was a big.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Concern with the leftover from Hurricane Helene and the water
now I.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
Was really starting to blow over if you look at
the ground.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Whoo okay, second, and three things you need to know
this morning.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Let's talk about jelly roll.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
So if you're going to his Cincinnati date on November fourth,
you are in for a tree. And if not, I
really hope that there's a chance you can score a
pair of tickets. He was so good in Columbus last night.
I had a chance to go up there and experience
it as a fan. I think you'll love the experience
itself because he's extended the stage so that he can
(02:32):
really engage with everyone in the audience.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
I love it when an artist does that.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
First of all, it's like better than a high school
auditorium stage, where you know, they just stand up front.
There he's got two long outlets so he can walk out,
and a stage in the back of the arena so
he can connect with the fans that are on that side.
And that, I would say is the biggest thing I've
noticed about Jelly Roll is that he will take the
time and the energy to connect with every single fan
(02:59):
that he can in that building.
Speaker 1 (03:00):
Bunny was there Listen to a clip if you.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Would have had a say Rose before, We would like
to welcome you to our Distle family tonight. Oh yeah,
I mean we just went from having a concert to
have a Noo family reunion. You did what I'm talking
about I tell you every family reunion my time. Here's
(03:25):
a family tradition.
Speaker 1 (03:29):
He was so fun.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
Uh So I had a chance to go backstage and
the videos are going up soon here if you want
to follow us at Kiss one oh seven, if you're
a visual person, to see what it's like to talk
to Jelly.
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Roll one on one.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
He told us one about his experience on Capitol Hill
and different shows that he's performed at in the past,
and SNL was a big one that we talked about,
and he said that that was just a really cool
live experience.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
The building for SNL.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I'm not surprised by this is actually much smaller than
you would think that what you see on TV.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
And that he talked about what it was like to
just be on SNL.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
What an honor right he kicked off the fiftieth anniversary season.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
Here's a clip of a skit that got cut. It
is on Lego us.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
Can.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
It is I Sam Wise Gamji and we have come
to save Aragon from the clutches of Saruman before he's
dragged into the fires of Mortar. Also just announce on
social like maybe yesterday.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
The Ohio Stadium, Buckeye Country Superfest just dropped their lineup,
happening Saturday, June twenty, first of next summer. Jelly Roll
is the headliner, alongside Kane Brown and a few others.
So if you're a big fan of Jelly and you
won't see him here in Cincy, maybe you can get
a chance to see him there again. Visuals are going
up at K one oh seven. All right, lastly, and
(04:55):
three things you need to know. Speaking of SNL, ariana
grande great act I think, great comedic actress too. I
think she's going to do well on SNL this weekend
as the host. Stevie Nix is the musical guest. And
there's a funny teaser out on social right now that
had me in tears. Yesterday so excited to be hosting
this week was the night before Christops.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Guys, I'm so excited to be hosting this week. But
before we start, I just want to say I would
really prefer to not do anything wicked or was it
of Oz related? May we come back in one hour?
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Sure? The entire cast was dressed up as the crew
of the Wizard of Oz. You'll come across it on
social and I hope you had a chance to catch
it when it happens. If not, you know we'll cover
it right after an hour's here on Monday morning. Okay,
that is three things you need to know to get
your day started in Sincy. If you can give me
a couple of minutes of your time at nine oh five,
I have your next chance and your first chance of
(05:50):
the day to win a thousand bucks. It also comes
with a free trip to our iHeartRadio jingle Ball in
New York starring Katie Perry, So don't go far.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Best way to keep listening is on iHeart Radio. When
you start to kiss one, I's have one good morning.
