Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Kiss one O seven one, Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
You know there is something magical about a short week
after a long holiday weekend. We've already arrived at Friday.
I did have to kind of like check in with
myself early this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
It's like it is Friday, right, she came quick, she
showed up quick.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
I it's like the little things that we look forward to,
you know, sometimes in not even just the adult world.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I think both worlds look forward to it.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
And with the weather that we're having this weekend, it's
gonna feel like fall.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
I was supposed to go look at houses today.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Remember I told you guys, I've been in the house
hunting process, And I said to my realtor, girl, I
got to try to get at least one more day
at Ziegler Pool before it closes. She said, I totally understand.
We'll schedule these for next week. So if it's meant
to be, it's meant to be. I'm finding that in
the house process, that's the mentality.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
All right, Happy Friday coming up at a he thirty,
your chance to win pink tickets and then at nine
oh five we'll continue to hook you up with those
trips to Las Vegas to our iHeartRadio Music Festival. So
best way to listen to the show, and it's not
just to get to the music.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
It's and it's not just in your car. It's on iHeartRadio.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Once you have it on your phone or Apple CarPlay
Android Auto, just search Kiss one oh seven one. You
can hit the Listen live button and join right in,
so you don't miss this stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
When you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
It's three things with Tip on.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Good morning, where just before seven o'clock it's a Friday,
temperatures are going to bump again into the eighties or
the mix of sun and clouds before we see some
fall football weather moving for the weekend with highs in
the lower seventies. And I'll get to Joe Burrow here
in a second, I promise, But first we got to
off with the updates out of Georgia. So the mugshot

(02:02):
of Colt Gray has been released and you can see
the youth in his eyes his father in a new
update yesterday Colin Gray and by the way, Colt is
charged with four counts of murder. Colin Gray fifty four
arrested also on four counts but of involuntary manslaughter, two
counts of second degree murder, and eight counts of cruelty

(02:24):
to children.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
And here's why.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
He's charge of stam from mister Gray knowingly allowing his
son Colt to possess a weapon.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
So what I learned in the news this morning is
that his father was the one that purchased him. The
ar absolutely wild. When there's more on this one, you know,
I'll have it for you. All right, let's take a
little turn here into some good news. Second, and three
things you need to know this morning. Before we get
to Joe Burrow and our own team, we have to
dress the biggest thing on social media right now. You

(02:55):
can't open up your timeline and nazi Taylor the Chief
game last night. It is always bizarre to me to
comment on someone else's relationship that I don't know. I
have no experience with Taylor and Travis. On the outside,
they looked like royalty walking in and out, or at
least out of the stadium together hand in hand.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
She looked like she just came out of a photo shoot.
Like good for you, Taylor.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
Him on the other hand, though, with the glasses, the stash,
whatever haircut that is. You know, I think it's a choice.
I think your look is a choice for you. And
I kind of get the feeling that he's doing that
to look similar to Andy Reid. That's what he keeps
calling the mustache, the Andy Reid mustache. The one thing
that you do need to notice, though, when you look
at the photos of them leaving together, look down at

(03:41):
Travis's left hand, he's carrying a garage beer and you
guys know that they're investors in that Cincinnati company here.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Broadcasters were in on it, fans were in on it,
the NFL was in on it. Speaking of voices, look
who's back back again?

Speaker 5 (03:57):
I would sing it for you, Taylor in the house,
Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
They also did like a from what I'm seeing on
the internet, like a montage of Taylor and Travis's summer
together and Travis being on stage and in her music
video and then panting to him planning. So this is
definitely entertainment value at its highest. I'll have more from
Travis Kelcey kind of later on in the show, but
that's the latest out of them.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And then of course our very own bangles.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
I mean, is it wild or not that we are
starting the season? Joe Burrow in the press conference yesterday
talking about.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
How he's ready, and I we haven't hello.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
We've seen him, but not in a playing capacity since
the middle of last year.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
I feel great.

Speaker 6 (04:50):
This is the best I felt going into week one,
you know, since my rookie season. So I'm confident in
the work that I've put in, and i know that
the ligament is strong at this point to be able
to take those kind of hits, So.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I'm not too worried about it.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Let's go one o'clock kickoff.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
We've already run through the halftime performer, so it's redundant
for me to repeat them. But I do want to
remind you John John's Jungle Zone kicks off here at
five o'clock this afternoon on the way home, and then
tomorrow you can find the Jungle Zone right outside of
Filson on the banks.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
All right, Ye, lastly, in three.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Things you need to know this morning, let's go over
new music Friday. We've got a few to get into,
including one from Halsey.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
We will do. Let's do that one first.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Actually, this is called Egolly.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I talked to you.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Yesterday about how her new album is coming out in October.
It's fifth Udio album and it kind of represents the
different decades, so you can hear them right.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
You've got a little punk rock.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
The song that she covered from Britney spears lucky little
pop into it, so I'll have that full song coming
up for you later on in the show. All right,
that is three things you need to know for the
sixth of September. Coming up at seven oh five, we're
commercial free. The best way to keep listening to Tiff
in the Morning is on iHeartRadio by searching Kiss one
oh seven one, so you don't miss anything. We also

(06:26):
have your chance to win pink tickets and a trip
to Vegas.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
You're waking up with fifth in.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
The morning, Kiss one, Good Morning.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
I've talked about Jamar Chase and whether or not he's
gonna play in Sunday's game A bunch and three things
you need to know. Apparently he's got a press conference
this afternoon. I don't understand football contracts doesn't make us.
It doesn't look a sense to me, So I'm in
the dark just as much as you are on that one.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
But if there is more. You know, I'll take care
of you. You know.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
My rule on the show is that if I hear
something or see something three or more times, we talk
about it. And that is the change that the Bengals
made for media coverage. It's it made me giggle if
you didn't know this. Some of the best content I
think of our Bengals, other than what they put out,

(07:14):
is when we catch the players walking across the street
from paycor into the practice facility. Media is no longer
allowed to film them there.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
We have some breaking news out of Cincinnati, Jamar Chase
going to practice once again in pads. That's our dress
and suit.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
And then also Bengals media is not allowed to film
the players walking across the street in front of some
men trucks to get to practice anymore.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
That was the voice of Pat mccaffee. If you're wondering
who that was.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
I think that there's nothing better than a good sense
of humor. So I was bummed about that. I get
it that the NFL is a major operation. The Bengals
is a big operation. You've got to protect your image.
It's more than just the players. It's a lot, right,
But if you look at our Bengals compared to maybe
the Kansas City Chiefs in this one element they like.

(08:03):
I feel like they buy into the whole Tailor and
Travis thing and it gets other people involved in their
sense of humor. And I think that's what makes people
like something is when they feel like they can relate
to it and they can see it, even if they
end up being the butt of the joke sometimes. So
that's kind of all over the place this morning. I've

(08:24):
got to figure out what I'm wearing this weekend. Originally
as a New Englander and of course as a Patriots fan.
What am I gonna do? I think I found this
one sweatshirt that I'm gonna wear if the weather permits.
It's hard to dress for football when it's warm out,
but it's an orange sweatshirt that says Boston across the
center of my chest.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
So I feel like that's a good way to represent both.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, kiss on
U seven one.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (08:54):
I'm gonna attempt to explain a new Instagram feature to
you that I won't have access to because my phone
is archaic and has absolutely no storage, so I'll never
be able to really download the new Instagram, So I'm really.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Doing this for you.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
You can now leave comments under people's instant stories. So
previously our only options have been liking herding fire emoji.
You could leave some sort of emoji reaction, or you
could absolutely reply, but it would then go to that
person's DMS. And let's say you put up a trap

(09:34):
or something, and you know, you get forty DMS forty
comments from it from that one guy that always comments
on your stuff, and you're like, oh, you know, I
can always count on you, right, can always count on
you for an uplift that will no longer happen if
they have this version of Instagram Again, I might never
see it because my phone's archaic. But instead of leaving

(09:56):
comments through DMS, it'll come up as a comment secon
underneath your story, very similar to what it is if
you leave someone a comment on an Instagram post.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
There it is.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
We're still using Instagram, right, I know. I'm so where
are you at?

Speaker 2 (10:13):
What's your order? What's your order? For me? It's Instagram?

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Then X actually find I find X to be entertaining,
and then TikTok. If I want to just disassociate, I
kind of stop posting on TikTok for a hot second.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
I don't know. I'm not convinced on it.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I don't I even had a coworker of mine, her
name is Megan, she's in her twenties, and she's like, yeah,
I just feel like everything on TikTok right now is
a setup. Everyone's trying to like set something up. It's
just like exhausting and daunting. So she even has kind
of bailed on TikTok for.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
A little while. What's your where are you at?

Speaker 3 (10:51):
The one that still surprises me all the time because
I thought Kylie Jenner Kilde is Snapchat. I feel like
Snapchat is used almost more than any of them, and
that's the one that I haven't logged onto and forever.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
But they come in the gum Which one are you
still use them? Coming up two.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Songs from now, we'll get into the three things you
need to know to get your day started.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
In Cincy.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Obviously, we're gonna talk about Taylor and Travis. That's like
the biggest thing in the news right now. But Travis
was holding one thing, one very special specific Cincinnati thing
in his left hand while he was leaving that win
last night.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
I'll have that more next when you need to know
she's got you.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
It's three things with tip on.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Hi, good morning, we're just before eight o'clock. At eight
thirty your chance to win pink tickets coming to Columbus.
All right, we're gonna talk football, and of course we'll
lead it off with our very own Joe Burrow. In
regards to whether or not he's ready to play. I
can imagine that you already know what the answer is.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
So great.

Speaker 6 (12:11):
This is the best I felt going into week one,
you know, since my rookie season. So I'm confident in
the work that I've put in, and I know that
the ligament is strong at this point to be able
to take those kind of hits.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
So I'm not too worried about it. Let's go. We
are ready to go. We are ready for Joe Burrow past.

Speaker 8 (12:34):
Forty seven points.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Wiggle help Baby Dizzy X fan on the turbo.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Jamar Ch is supposed to have a press conference later
on this afternoon. Headlines are that he was handed at
contract last night. Again, full disclosure contracts for football right
over my head.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Don't understand them.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
Let's talk about Travis and Taylor because there's I mean,
if you haven't opened up your phone in the last
twelve hours, One good for you, and two you couldn't
have done it without seeing both of them. At the
Chiefs game last night, the Chiefs ended up taking the
win kind of last minute there and Taylor just front
and center for everyone. I mean, in the broadcast booth,

(13:13):
in the social media. The NFL was in on it,
the Chiefs were in on it, the players were in
on it.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Everyone was just excited that she was there.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
Taylor back in the house, Taylor Swift.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
The one thing that I noticed when they were leaving
the stadium, she looked incredible.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
His look, guys, that's unique.

Speaker 3 (13:36):
I don't know what to tell you about what he's
dressed like right now, what he's mustache, his hair, the glasses,
he's going for a luke into each his own. But
he had a garage beer in his left hand while
he was leaving the stadium.

Speaker 2 (13:49):
And I was like, I love that.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
I love that you're our biggest rival for football and
yet you still love Cincinnati so much. All right, let's
chat Travis Kelsey a little bit, because he is in
the news for other things. He sat down with CBS
and they asked him, what is your favorite tailor song?

Speaker 9 (14:06):
Oh, I got a bunch of them. They're all my favorite.
You see me at a cash you'll see me singing
them all.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I love that for them.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
He is in the new Pepsi commercial with Josh Allen
a few other players in Meghan the Stallion. I'll play
clips for you in a hot second of the commercial.
But he in the same interview that I just played
a clip from. He was in the gladiator uniform. So
he sat down with CBS dressed like a gladiator and
they asked him, all right, how do you feel about.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
Being in the limelight all the time.

Speaker 9 (14:36):
Now the life I shows, I guess I have fun
with it. It comes with the territory of, you know,
wanting to do fun on activities like this and signing
up for cool sponsorships like this and endorsements.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
And I'll play a clip for you from the Pepsi commercial.
Something I do love about football season. I feel like
there's always really well produced cinematic commercials and Pepsi always
does a good job.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Here's a clip I really gonna stop thinking about the
Woman Empire Silence, Open the Gates.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
That was the voice of Megan you heard Travis in
there and the very beginning of it, because it's a
gladiator Roman Empire scene.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
The clip was I gotta stop thinking.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
About the Roman Empire, which was so big at the
beginning of the year.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Do you remember that? All right? Is there one thing
I wanted to talk about? One other thing that I'm missing?

Speaker 3 (15:27):
I feel like I'm missing something on this Oh, headlines
make me giggle because one of the big ones on
my prep site this morning was, you know, Travis and
Taylor's friends are really hoping that they get engaged.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Yeah, no, duh.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Like anyone that I'm close friends with who's happy and
in love, I'm like, if that's what you want, I
hope you get it.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
But they're like, get close.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Sources close say that they really want it. You're mm
hmm yep, as do most normal people with their friends.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
All right.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Lastly, in three things you need to know this morning,
Alex Morgan we know her, of course from her massive
accolades and soccer, announced yesterday that she is officially retiring
from the sport.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
I'm gonna play a clip here for you right now here.

Speaker 10 (16:15):
It is I'm retiring and I have so much clarity
about this decision, and I'm so happy to be able
to finally tell you it has been a long time
coming and this decision wasn't easy.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
I think she's expecting her second baby. The reason why
I bring this up in news this morning is because
that women's soccer team went on to change the landscape
for women's sports, especially women's soccer, and how much they're
getting paid in the gender pay gap, And so shout
out to her, finishing her USWNT career with one hundred

(16:55):
and twenty three goals, fifth all time, as well as
fifty three career assists, ninth in US history. She helped
lead gold the team to gold in London in twenty
twelve and bronze at the twenty twenty Tokyo Games. Okay,
that is three things you need to know for the
sixth of September coming up at a thirty Your chance

(17:17):
to win pink tickets. Best way to keep listening so
you don't miss it is on iHeartRadio by searching kiss
one oh seven one Good Morning.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
You're waking up fifth in the morning, h kiss one
good Morning.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
In a few minutes you have a chance to win
a pair of pink tickets. And I really want you
to win them because it's the last opportunity of the
week and in my show at least, and my phone
lth fill up for them quickly, so you'll need the
keyword shower.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
I'll explain why in a second.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
And just because for like my og listeners, I'm going
to add in a second keyword just for fun, and
we'll do bangles for obvious reasons. I'll take either one
of them. How long is too long to take a shower?
I came across this post on Reddit and it had
me going huhh, And as someone that tries to see
all angles to things, I could see why she's like,

(18:04):
my boyfriend is crazy for doing this, And I can
also see why he's like, I don't understand why it
took you that long to take a shower.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
So I'll read it and we'll talk about it.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
You could start jumping in now five win, three, seven, four, nine,
one oh seven. One is a great way to chit chat.
And then the alternative way is the iHeartRadio app. You
can talk back with Tiff by holding down the microphone
next to the play button. I'll read it, well chat.
My partner lost their over how long I'd been in
the shower. I'm a female with longer, thick hair, and
I was doing what some refer to as the everything

(18:39):
shower washing, conditioning, the hair, shaving, washing my body, my face,
then getting out. My partner said that they were running
the sink for as long as I was in the
shower and asked if I noticed how much water was
wasted then well, then I said, how would I be
able to hear that the shower though the water was

(18:59):
running while I was in the shower. That's where I'm
kind of like, Okay, well, you were cuckoo for doing that,
but iget that you were trying to prove a point.
They had been taking a shower for twenty six minutes,
twenty six minutes for a full body shower. That we
also went on in the posts to say that there's

(19:19):
two of them. He takes his shower at night for
three to four minutes. She takes her shower less than
he does because she works from home, so she's like,
I'm just combining all the times that I'm not showering
into one shower. There were a lot of points to
this argument where you and I are going to stop
right now, and shad is how long is too long
for a shower. As a galley myself, I understand that

(19:40):
the Everything shower one is a very big deal. It's ceremonial,
and two it does take at least ten minutes to
be in that shower at least, and I think that
depends on how far you're going. Are you body scrubbing,
are you hair masking, are you face masking?

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Are you shaving everything that needs to be shaved?

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Like what the Everything Shower entails to me is no
less than ten minutes? Twenty six though, girls, I would
love for you to call in and give me your perspective.
Twenty six minutes seems like a really long time to shower,
But then you've got the other side of the coin,

(20:19):
where well, if you don't shower that long every day,
like my pop in, pop out shower, it's under five
minutes if I'm just doing a rintse without washing my hair.
So lots of angles on this. Let's get involved. Five one, three, seven, four, nine,
one oh seven one. I want to hear from you
this morning. And then, of course we're not far off
from the pink tickets, and you already know what the
keyword is on that one, so.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
Don't go far.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Oh my god, how convenient we're coming out of this song,
moll moneyball problems all right? How much money does it
cost to take a twenty six minute shower? I know
my dad would be cringing right now. You're waking up
with Tip in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Thanks for joining us. You're on the air.

Speaker 11 (20:57):
So I think, even like outside of the whole story,
men need to learn to be more gentle with women
in general. And I think that him coming at her
and losing his mind over a shower is extremely proud.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
Is in a giant red flag.

Speaker 11 (21:11):
And I'll try on it perspective because it's a shower.
And if she comes over stinking, he's gonna complain, And
then if she's showering, he shouldn't complain.

Speaker 7 (21:23):
Like, I don't know, I.

Speaker 11 (21:25):
Just feel like she should run for the hills and
learn to be happy.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I'm Katie, Katie. Thanks for the call, girl Kiss on
seven one. Good morning.

Speaker 11 (21:34):
Yeah, my daughter in law took a two hour shower
every day.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Stop.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
What do you mean you have to walk me through
what that even means? Is there that much hot water
in the tank?

Speaker 7 (21:43):
Yeah, my house?

Speaker 2 (21:44):
How does she take a two hour. We're just doing
in there.

Speaker 11 (21:47):
She's got that long, big hair, and I don't know
what she's doing in there.

Speaker 7 (21:50):
And you know, I'm out here wanting to go to
the bathroom because there's only one bathroom today.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Ah, that's another conversation.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
If someone's showering and you have to go to the
bathroom really bad, Are you able to go in there
and use the bathroom?

Speaker 2 (22:01):
Yes? Or no?

Speaker 11 (22:03):
No?

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Well it's not loud, so I had to go out back.
Oh my god, what neighborhood are you in?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
You don't want know, but yeah, right out there in
the yark.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. Your chance to win pink tickets
here in just a minute. But let me usher you
into this conversation.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
If you're just.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Joining us, how long it's too long to take a shower?
I had read a post from Reddit where a guy
was upset with his girlfriend for taking a twenty six
minute everything shower.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
We'll go to you high. You're on the air.

Speaker 7 (22:39):
Hello, Hello, So I think there are showers that are
necessary for time to get away a little bit to relax,
especially for some of us have cared to take time,
and you know, for ourselves, get clean. I have a moment,
and but if someone is waiting on you or you're

(23:00):
a pressed for time, there is an appropriate time to
be in and out of the shower as an adult.
And that's my opinion.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
Okay, what's your name, Matthew? Matthew, thank you so much
for the call.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
I'm still unwell from anonymous telling me that her granddaughter
took a two hour shower and so she had to
use the bathroom outside in the lawn.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
Where is this happening?

Speaker 3 (23:22):
All right, I'm sure you can guess what the keyword
is even if you missed it. But your chance to
win the pink tickets right now, I've went three seven,
four nine, one oh seven one.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
Good luck. In the meantime, I'm still commercial for PEP.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
Good morning, speaking of a pretty picnic and predicting the weather.
I canceled all things after the show today so that
I could get one more pool day at Ziegler because
they closed this weekend. And to you know me, I
have a hard time saying goodbye to summer. I just
need one more day out by the pool. All right,
but it's time to award some pink tickets here. I'm
hoping you have a keyword with me. Good morning, you're

(23:58):
on the air shower or Bengal. Congratulations, you got.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Involved, bro, I'm so excited. I've been calling all week.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
Well you're going to see pink up in Columbus. Congratulations?

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Thank you? Yeah? What's your name? What neighbor already waking
up with me in this morning? I'm Stacey and I'm
calling from Independence, Kentucky. Stacy the twenty six minute shower.
Yes or no?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Uh, that's a yes for me.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
I take a long time in the tower.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
Well, thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning
every day. When you getting ready, girl, then I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (24:34):
If you took an l on these John, John's going
to get you this afternoon at four point thirty, set
a reminder with Siri coming up after Shakira, dive into
three things you need to know to get your day
started in Sinci, including breaking new music news.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
I all that next.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with Tiff. Good morning.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
We're just before eight o'clock at e. I'm sorry, we're
just before nine o'clock.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
At nine oh five, I have your chance to win
free trip out to Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival, plus.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
An extra thousand bucks.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
We're gonna start off with new music Friday, and I
typically save that as the last thing in three things,
but I think this is a big deal. Just announced
yesterday that Lincoln Park is making a return. So they
were huge in the two thousands, obviously, but their new
album from Zero is coming out on November fifteenth, and

(25:32):
I think it actually came with like four or so
tour dates the big cities right La, New York, Sydney, Tokyo, London.
Maybe I could don't quote me on it, but I
think I remember scrolling past a post.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
With tour dates on them.

Speaker 3 (25:47):
The reason why this is a big deal they took
a seven year hiatus after lead singer Chester Bennington died
by suicide at the age of forty one, and it
was just heartbreaking for the music community and I'm sure
for their own inner circle. So they I love how
they're making their return.

Speaker 7 (26:04):
Though.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
They dropped a new single, so I'm gonna play a
song for you. It's called Emptiness Machine. And they have
a new co lead singer. Her name is Emily Armstrong.
I'll talk about her.

Speaker 12 (26:14):
After I play the clip, Yes you cut me?

Speaker 8 (26:17):
Okay, girl, get it.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Before Lincoln Park, Emily sang for a band called Dead Sarah.
And then they're also adding a drummer named Colin Brittan.
I haven't heard of either of these two, but I
love I love that she's a lady. I love that
like a brand new chapter for Lincoln Park. Of course,
just because I know you've come to expect it.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Let's re visit some of the Lincoln Park.

Speaker 12 (27:01):
Hits, very very cool.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
That song is always in like every Spider Man Marvel
DC universe. It's like like directed by Michael Bay. Right,
it's you know, the very the character we thought was
dead and then the last like six seconds of the
movie you see them twitch and then it's like that song, right,
you know what I'm talking about? So good, I mean,

(27:45):
an iconic collaboration of its time, and then we'll get
into one more so.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
Iconic.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
I know I've already taken up a lot of your time,
so going off on a tangent is probably not the
right idea right now, but it brings me back to
when I was working in Boston and I was in
the music department. I'm still in that same music department
here for Cincy, but I got my start there at
the radio station in Boston. And after Chester Bennington passed.
I'll never forget this. Their record label, Warner Brothers at

(28:22):
the time, came in to share the news with us,
to talk about what was the plan for Lincoln Park,
what was going to happen. This was back in twenty seventeen,
and I'll never forget Her name was Katie. She came
in tell us the news and she just sat down
and she sobbed. It was just such a hard time
for that label and just fans in the music industry
in general.

Speaker 2 (28:41):
All Right, where are we going next? Second?

Speaker 3 (28:43):
And three things you need to know? Let's do I
know we should probably move on from new music. However,
I want to play a new one from Camilicabao.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
This is called Godspeed.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
It's off the extended version of her album, which came
out in June.

Speaker 8 (29:00):
What is just.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
That album didn't do well commercially as far as radio hits,
but I do have a couple of singles off of
it that I enjoy.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
All Right.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
Lastly, and three things you need to know this morning.
What a time, just what a time for football. Of course,
our Bengals getting ready to kick off Sunday against my
New England Patriots. I'm gonna root for both. I think
that you can just do both. That's what I'm gonna do.
I'm really excited. I might you know, you'll have to
follow along on social media because I'm hoping to get
some Boston content for you guys, some Boston accents.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
But the big thing was Travis and Taylor at the
game last night.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
We've talked about it at length, but the media was
all over it, including the NFL, including the broadcasters, including
the Chiefs. Everyone bought into the fact that Taylor was
going to be there. The one thing that I noticed, though,
that was when Travis was leaving hand in hand with
Taylor after they're like barely their win, he was holding
a garage beer. I said, rivals yet lovers at the

(30:25):
same time. That is three things you need to know
for the sixth of September. Coming up next at nine
oh five, your chance to win that free trip to
Las Vegas for our iHeartRadio Music Festival.

Speaker 1 (30:38):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
We're gonna talk about what you're watching, and we typically
do this on Fridays and on Mondays. What should you
watch and what did you watch over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
It goes without saying that Sunday's obviously locked in at
one o'clock for our Bengals versus the Patriots. I'm very excited.

Speaker 3 (31:02):
None of my Boston friends came in for the game,
but I'm just excited to be around other Bostonians here
in Sincy and to show them a good time. I'm
gonna represent both. If you're wondering what I'm gonna wear,
I'm gonna do both. Outside of the Sunday game. Huge
in the box office this weekend, expected to take like one.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Hundred and twenty plus million. Is the new Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice movie.
Very excited to see it.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
It also has Got Jenner We're taking it, which was perfect.
And then Moira Rose Catherine O'Hara is a real name,
but you and I will forever remember her as Moira
Rose from Shit's Creek. Looks funny, looks good, looks like
it's done well. So I'm hoping to be able to
make it out to the theater to see that one.
It came out, I think as of midnight last night
at home. The other big one on TV right now

(31:50):
is Tell Me Lies, which is a Hulu thing also
on my list to watch because I haven't quite gotten
there yet, but Hulu is one of the streaming platforms
that I actually have my own password to, so I'm
excited to jump into that. I had mentioned this on
social like a week or so ago, that I've made
the commitment. I've made the decision and the choice to

(32:13):
start the show Lost from the early two thousands, and
let me tell you, it'll take me until twenty twenty
five to get through that. There are at least one
hundred episodes, six seasons with like twenty episodes apiece. That
was during the TV era where you like let you
sat down in front of your TV and waited for
that show to come on. The first episode alone, the

(32:35):
pilot episode cost fourteen million dollars, the most expensive of
its time, and then the entire thing was shot on
location in Hawaii for years and years.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
So I'm watching Lost, you know me, you know my thoughts.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
What you're watching on TV is one of the biggest
universal topics of conversation.

Speaker 2 (32:52):
Don't gatekeep.

Speaker 3 (32:53):
There is nothing better than sharing what you're watching with somebody,
especially if you love it.

Speaker 11 (32:57):
Hi, this is Yappy and I'm just calling to chime
in on in the movies. I just want you to
saw Reagan. There was four of us and we all
loved it.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Oh, thank you for the talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
When you search kiss on iHeartRadio, that's an alternative way
to jump in in our conversation. The quality of that
was a little men, but I heard what you were saying.
Reagan is got Dennis Klayton also in theaters right now,
all right, coming up a nine pint forty the Daily Debrief.
I choose one big thing that we talked about on
the show today and we run it back this time around.
How long is too long to take a shower
