Speaker 1 (00:00):
Because you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Kiss.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
You know, I forgot what mondays like this felt like
it had. It's been a while since we've had a
Monday like this. It's not great, it's it's something that
you forget. Hi, everybody, good morning. By the way, Happy Monday.
If you haven't heard that yet, I guess let me
be the first to say it. You're gonna need some
(00:27):
sort of pick me up. Of course, I'm referencing yesterday.
We'll dive more into a game and such in three
things later on in the hour at six fifty vibes
and such we can address right now, Beautiful Sunny, I
knew it was gonna be nothing but a time to
be down at the banks, just first one in a
(00:51):
long time. Everyone's excited. It felt like new school energy.
And then, of course, I've been talking a lot about
this Jamar Chase contract and such like leading up to it,
and we've been kind of teasing and joking about it,
and you know, he eventually ended up playing yesterday, but
I think it just left us with bad ju show.
I don't know. Maybe we'll get into superstitions later on
(01:12):
the show. If you've got one you're more than welcome
to share it with me. I didn't see many Patriots
fans down there. Yes, of course there were you know,
chunks here and there, but only did I talk to
one family that flew in from New England to watch
the Vangals play the Patriots here, and so that was
(01:34):
always cool. My you know what neighborhood did you come
in from? And there was a guy that actually, there's
a guy that lives here now and he's like, I
called Brockton home and you could tell he totally still
had his Boston accent, although he lives in Kentucky. And
I'm like, yes, how's that going for you? But yeah,
I totally forgot what it was like to wake up
(01:54):
at this on this Monday. And these types of mondays
a loser, just a looser. I don't like it. All right,
we'll get more into that stuff later on. Three Things
you need to know. Best way to keep listening to
TIF in the Morning is on iHeartRadio by searching Kiss
one seven one. Yep, Monday's here. We're all gonna need
a little extra help, Lenn. You need to know she's
(02:19):
got you.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
It's three things with TIF on Kiss Good.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
Morning, we'd just before seven o'clock. Dare I even say
or attempt to say a happy Monday? Before we address
the bangles, Let's start off with the incident that happened
in Kentucky. There's a chance you've heard about it, but
there's also a chance that you have no idea that
the highway was closed due to a shooting yesterday.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
And Laurel Kentucky, he obtained a forearm at a at
a local place here in London. But it was obtained,
you know, lately. He went through the ATF he went
through out the proper paperwork, and we have we have
the piper We have that piperwork, copies of the receipts.
But that was as you know, like you know, if
(03:01):
you're not a failing or something, you know, if you
can go in you fail the piper work. Anyone can
purchase the guns.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
When was that?
Speaker 3 (03:08):
That was yesterday?
Speaker 1 (03:09):
Man wasted no time, So Laurel Kentucky, I had to
Google map. It's about one hundred and seventy five miles
south of here. So when you hear there's a shooting
in Kentucky and they close down seventy five, just know
it's pretty it's far away from here. He's still on
the run. The police are resuming their hunt around eight
o'clock this morning. Classes in that area have been canceled.
If I forgot to mention his name, I apologies on that.
(03:30):
Joseph Couch is thirty two years old. All right. Second
and three things you need to know this morning. Well,
we took the l and what I dare I say,
a very very disappointing loss for our home and seasoned
opener at the banks. Here's coach ZT.
Speaker 4 (03:46):
You just got to take a deep breath. This is
what we wanted. We have to be accountable for what
happened Rowland one. We got sixteen off deplay, tremendous opportunity
to go on the road next week and flip all
this momentum. And so again that's that's how we got
to look at it. Got to handle ourselves internally, not
worry about the external noise. We know we'll be there
and I know our guys will do great job with that.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
And here's co let's get you know what, let's play.
Let's go with Joe Burrow before we talk about it
at halftime.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
You guys have been in that position before, and find
a way back.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Yeah, we were positive. You know, we fold get about.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Our chances and our opportunities we had.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
You know, like I said, we just didn't take advantage
of a lot of those opportunities. Yeah, I feel like
Cincinnati's waking up disappointed this morning. Took the ld of
the Patriots sixteen to ten. We didn't even put points
on the board until later on in the game. Just
felt like there were so many distractions. The Bengals are
always plagued by so many distractions, and then it just
makes us look bad. It was an embarrassing loss. I mean,
(04:48):
as a Patriots fan, I was like somebody at least
I know one, and I like that. But I would
have preferred our Bengals to take the win in all
Orange and our season and home opener. We'll spend more
time on that later on the show. We're on the
road next right, We're going to play the Chiefs four
twenty five next Sunday. And then lastly, Kendrick Lamar was
announced as the halftime performer for the Super Bowl this year.
(05:12):
I felt like that announcement came a little earlier than normal.
Typically it hits in October. And I'll play a clip
of his announcement coming up in our next hour. For
timing purposes, we'll get into that and chit chat roulette.
Best way to keep listening to Tiff in the morning
is on iHeartRadio search Kiss one oh seven one, because
at seven twenty we take all the big topics from
the weekend and we run them through.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, h Kiss
one o seven one.
Speaker 6 (05:38):
Maybe an orange out was a bad idea. Just go
back to the black because that's my mood this morning.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Okay, guys, it's time for chitchat roulette. If there's one
thing I know how to do is lift a sour mood.
We got this. We take all the biggest topics from
the weekend, maybe even a little Friday, and we put
them into one wheel and spin that thing and see
how many we can get to within a five minute period.
Are you okay if I start the timer? Yeah? Are
you go back to bed after this? Because it's all
(06:08):
feeling like a nightmare? TIF been away all rights? Five minutes.
Here we go. If you have to go poop, excuse me,
you need to go home. You need to go home.
(06:33):
If you have to poop, you need to leave and
go back to your house. A girl that we were with,
you know her. I don't know if I should necessarily
say her name. She comes out of the porter potty, okay,
the one that's positioned right next to the taste of
Belgium back over to John John's jungle zone when we
(06:53):
were yesterday all hanging out, and she goes. I literally
just walked into the porter potty after the joker came
out and he was holding his nostrils and he took
like the biggest dump of his life in that border potty,
and she had to go in thereafter. When you gotta go,
you gotta know, though, No, that's like poop. That's like
(07:15):
pooping at the club. If you have to poop at
the club, go home. Just end the day.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
Are you saying, are you saying to spend the eighty
dollars to park twice to get back down?
Speaker 1 (07:28):
I mean, I know what I if I did that,
I know what I would do in that situation.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
Dude, I met the joker guy yesterday. He was super cool.
Now that's all gonna think about the poop and joker.
I mean that just like sums up the day though,
like an actual crap show.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Dude, you have to peep, go home, go ahead, And I.
Speaker 6 (07:54):
Think Bob Herzog kind of like captured it best. Here
look at that man picture. Yeah, Bob our buddy over
at Local twelve. He posts on to Instagram this morning
he's got his head down on his keyboard and said,
Mondays after games like that are the most mondayist mondays.
This is such a mood right here. I reposted it
on my story, Sarah at least once a week. Just
(08:15):
a rough game.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
It was rough, and I feel like you've probably spent
the last twenty four hours like defending the Bengals because
you're so obsessed with them. I can after this one,
but that was so embarrassing.
Speaker 6 (08:26):
Sixteen to ten was the final Patriots getting it done.
Apparently they're the worst team in the NFL. No, but
they look like the best. I'm like, why are we
making them look so good? Are they good? Or are
we bad?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Do you that's the question? Now? Do you think I
did a good job of representing both Patriots and Bengals? Yesterday?
Speaker 6 (08:46):
You wore exactly what I figured you would. Okay, yeah,
you wrapped them both.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
There's a little bit of muted support for both vibe
was high. Bus Oh, the vibes were so good. The
day started off really strong. Yeah, the tailgate was the
busiest I'd ever seen it. The banks was happen.
Speaker 6 (09:02):
I mean, it took me twenty minutes just to get
through to my parking spot because traffic was so backed
up by ten am. You know, we all did the
orange out sold out sixty five thousand crowd at pac
or did the team let us downes?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Did you see anything fun at the tailgates? Like the best?
That was the best thing you saw outside of Joker?
The Joker guy was cool.
Speaker 6 (09:21):
I'm like, oh my gosh, And I just posted the
photo of Joker and myself on my Twitter page this morning.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Sorry, we're ruined that for you. Yeah, I'm like, dude,
just took a duce after Kendrick Klamardo in a halftime show.
That house was made this morning. I don't tell me
about that. Yeah. The announcement came earlier than I usually
hits in October. I didn't think that they would give
us the act this early in the season. I mean
(09:47):
the first game, right or first weekends at games? You
excited about this one? No, I was thinking it was
gonna be Miley Cyrus. That was my votes. If you
in the reason, here's how my brain operates. If you
were to line a bunch of women and you said, hey,
name five Kendrick Lamar songs, I can't do it, versus
like five Little Wayne songs? Could you do it? No? Well,
(10:10):
people are saying, you know that Lil Wayne. It's his
hometown of New Orleans, and if you're gonna go with
a rapper, you might as well have gone with the
hometown guy in that one. I think Kendrick, that I
know who's not happy this morning? Drake. For sure, the
man's not well.
Speaker 6 (10:29):
Just because I know it's appointing Monday altogether. Can we
get something right here? Taylor Travis? Now that's thank you.
Now that's right. They're right together. I love them, They're
so in love. You love to see it. Do you
think that they turned it on a little hot though?
For the cameras.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
They know people are watching. They knew people are put
on a show. That whole US Open Tennis video, They
knew people are watching. But you know what, Darre, are
you not entertained? We are so entertained. They can do
no wrong.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
In my book, I'm a big fan of both of them,
and unfortunately, our Bengals are going there this Sunday into
Taylor territory, that being Arrowhead Stadium, four twenty five kickoff.
Speaker 1 (11:10):
And you'll be wearing black for the rest of the week,
the rest of the week of mid morning, Who did
all right? Should che roulent? We take the biggest topics,
put them into a wheel, Sarah before we go, because
we're going to get into this round seven forty? Can
I get your best Boston accent? What is a Boston accent?
(11:31):
I am still stumped by this. You're waking up in
the morning. Kiss you give Bengals fans a couple of
beers and you do not disappoint. Let's see how good
you are compared to Bengals fans. Yesterday afternoon at the tailgates,
I had given my microphone away and said, give me
(11:53):
your best Boston accent now before I play everyone, if
you want to practice in your car, we take the
classic phrase park your car in Harvard Yard, but you
have to remove the rs. That's how it works, so
it sounds like poku kaan have it. Yeah, Let's see
(12:14):
how you do. Compare it to the Bengals fans. Yesterday.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
It's not my Boston.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
You can give me some water. Have you ever been
to Boston? What do you think we're most known for.
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Ah, you're known for your Boston clam chowder and your
baked bean.
Speaker 1 (12:33):
I don't know no Boston accent at all, all right,
you know I would rate it one to ten. It
was just it was somewhere between a six and a
seven if you're a visual person. This video is posted
at the tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard uh
(12:53):
and at Kiss one o seven of course if you
if you need someone to go off of right and
then you obviously know this is the captain of the
ship here.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
Nonk and made me brand ambassador because they know they
looked at the numberless.
Speaker 1 (13:08):
I'm like, we don't need anybody else. We know what
sells every man, regular guy, Boston guy. If you order
something this morning, you know, maybe practice your Boston accent.
Although it was a tough loss yesterday, disappointed. We'll get
into that and a few others in the Three Things,
including who's the halftime performer at the Super Bowl this year?
Three Things you Need to Know two songs from now on,
(13:28):
Kiss Good morning, Lynn, You need to know she's got you.
It's three things with tiff On.
Speaker 4 (13:38):
You just got to take a deep breath. This is
what we wanted. We have to be accountable for what
happened for Rowan one. We got sixteen off the ploy,
tremendous opportunity to go on the road next week and
flip all this momentum. And so again that's that's how
we got to look at it. We got to handle
ourselves internally, not worry about the external noise. We know
we'll be there and I know our guys will do
a great job of that momentum.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
What momentum are you talk talking about? Good morning, Good morning.
You know, it's super disappointing lost yesterday for our Bengals.
I think the expectations were really really high, really high,
and I could see why. I mean, it almost felt embarrassing.
And listen, he had said to himself, that was coach
Zac Taylor, by the way, of course, if he didn't
recognize his voice, that they have to quiet the outside noise,
(14:20):
which I agree with, and you know what, they're professionals,
so they're going to do what they get paid to do.
But I just think that the rest of Cincinnati was
just disappointment that was their It almost felt like people
weren't mad at the Patriots because they won, they were
mad that the Bengals lost. And I feel like that's
just a different energy. If you're picking up what I'm
(14:41):
putting down. Let's talk about Joe Burrow here, he is
talking after you know the loss.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
You're more and more comfortable as the game goes, and
is as the season goes.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
First game back for an injury, so.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
I was comfortable, but not being more comfortable as to you.
Speaker 1 (14:59):
I feel like there's always so much noise surrounding the Bengals, right,
there's always a lot of you know, Joe Burrow, love
them great, right, the blonde hair, the Paris fashion show.
I love that he was able to do those things
in his off season. But the highest paid quarterback last year,
I felt like just plagued us with negative press. And
I feel like, no matter how hard you sometimes try
(15:19):
to quiet the noise, negative energy just outweighs positive energy
if you let it. And the whole stuff with Jamar Chase,
with the contract, et cetera, I just feel like it
makes us look bad again. I'm an outsider looking in
as far as how the sports world works with money
and such. But yeah, we're on our way to Chiefs
Country next Sunday with an I love a four o'clock game.
(15:42):
By the way, that is my favorite time to watch
a Bengals game. So it's happening. Like I said, we're
on our way to Taylor and Travis Country before we
you know, move over to Taylor and Travis Talk from
the weekend. Let's address the Super Bowl halftime show. So
Kendrick Lamar in an announcement with the NFL, of course,
in partnership, and now the Apple Music halftime show year
This year will be Kendrick.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
But the deal everybody a named Kendrick Lamar now be
performing at Super Bowl fifty nine.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Will you be pulling up? I hope?
Speaker 5 (16:10):
So you know there's only one opportunity to win a championship.
No round tools, Let's get it, Boom.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
I won't want you to miss it.
Speaker 5 (16:17):
Meet me in New Orleans, February ninth, twenty twenty five.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
What are your best dress too?
Speaker 5 (16:21):
Even if you're watch it from home, Let's go.
Speaker 1 (16:24):
Dare I say that that was not my first choice
for the halftime show? Great? I mean, I think it's
always a huge nod to your success if you're able
to get that. I just feel like if you were
to line up you know people and say, hey, can
you name five Kendrick Lamar songs like that boom boom boom,
I feel like he wouldn't find that many. Some are
(16:47):
saying that Lil Wayne would have been a great fit
because you know, New Orleans is his hometown, and if
you were going to go with a rapper, why wouldn't
you have gone with Lil Wayne? Again, JAYZ makes the
decisions for the Apple Music halftime show, so we'll see.
By the way, Usher was celebrating twenty years of Confessions
on Good Morning America and talked about using roller skates
(17:07):
at the halftime show last year. I wanted to bring
that element to my world.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah, Atlanta, skating is something that's culturally kind of.
Speaker 8 (17:14):
Connected to what we do and how we enjoy ourselves.
Speaker 1 (17:17):
So I just made it a part of this major
moment that I would have for the Super Bowl, passing
off the torch to Kendrick. All Right, and that announcement
I felt like came very early. Typically it doesn't hit
us until October. And then, lastly, in three things you
need to know, congrats to Taylor and Travis. At least
someone had a good time this week, and you're going
to see them all over social They were in New
York celebrating a wedding and the US Open, And of
(17:39):
course now Travis, I'm sure very much back to work
getting ready to play us. All right, that is three
things you need to know for the ninth of September.
Coming up at eight oh five, we're commercial free on
this Monday. Best way to listen to on iHeartRadio Good Morning,
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven one. Hey, commercial free, come on, come on,
(18:00):
you know what I'll I'm going to work on pulling
the clip. You know what I'm looking for. But nonetheless,
we are commercial free for the rest of the hours.
So if you happen to be in somewhat of a
bad mood, I get it from yesterday. It's like one
of those things that we haven't even we haven't done
this in a while. We haven't woken up after a
Benggle's loss on a Monday in a while. So if
(18:21):
you're like, I don't know how to do, I don't
know what to do with myself, at least you know
that you have this wait, you know what, at.
Speaker 9 (18:27):
Least the weather's turned oh sweat, finally, thank god.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
All right, I'm not gonna talk about the Bengals. Coming
up next actually two songs from now, while we're commercial free,
I want to talk about Halloween decorations. If you have
that twelve foot skeleton and you're like, I think I
might be putting it up this week? When is it
too early to put up your Halloween decorations? You can
joining in our conversation literally anytime you want by using
(19:00):
the phone A five win three seven four nine one
oh seven one, or alternatively, the talkback feature on the
iHeartRadio app is a great way to get in without
really having to put in a lot of effort. The
microphone's right next to the play button when you search
kiss on iHeart Radio. And I think I already said this,
but good morning, Okay, happy Monday, because.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
You're waking up in the morning. Huh kiss what U
seven one?
Speaker 1 (19:24):
You can always lean on me for good vibes. Okay,
I got us, I got us. We're not talking about
the Bangals. We're talking about Halloween decorations. I love it.
And when I say I love it, I mean I
just like I love a good conversation. The the weather
is kind of saying Halloween, like it was fifty ish
(19:46):
degrees on my way in this morning. My brain is
still saying summer. But that's me. That's me. So are
you able to put up that twelve foot skeleton in
your yard? Let's say now, maybe you've already put it up.
This woman' and her name a circumstance. It's kind of irrelevant.
I'm gonna let her talk. But she got in trouble
for putting up her Halloween decorations too early. That's the
(20:07):
gist of it.
Speaker 10 (20:08):
If I was disrupting somebody or you know, bothering people,
I'm not. You know, you could have came to me
and said something like, hey, you know why, and I
would have explained to them why.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
I do it so early.
Speaker 10 (20:21):
People don't know what's going on in other people's lives.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
This poor this woman sounded like she just really needed this,
like she chose. The girl was going through it. I'm
just imagining her life. She just needed the Halloween decorations,
and then you know, she got in trouble and they
made her take them down. I want to know how
early is too early? Are you a September one. Are
you wait until after Laberty or Laborty weekend? Did you
(20:49):
start putting up that giant skeleton? Do you have that
skeleton up all year round and then you decorate it
with different seasons? If you're that person, I want to
talk to you, like on the phone, I went three
seven four nine, one oh seven one. Outside of that,
you can always talk back with Tiff on iHeartRadio by
searching Kiss one oh seven one. I don't decorate for
fall or Halloween, but that's because I live in a
(21:10):
shoe box in Mount Adams and there's not a lot
of space to put up any Halloween decorations. I would
say that Halloween's probably my least favorite to decorate four
if I were to choose one, and that's it because
I get scared easily. There's a guy that parks his
mini van behind my car every night. You know, if
(21:34):
you street park in your neighborhood, everyone kind of has
their go to spots, even though they're not assigned. And
I walk out of this guy's house in the door,
out of my house rather not out of his, in
the dark every day. And he has that white ski
mask from whatever scary movie that was in his car
with a hat over it. So it looks like Jason
(21:55):
is getting out of the car every single day when
I'm on my way, and that could be why I'm
a little bittersweet about I'm sorry, bitter rather about Halloween
decorations in my neighborhood. But nonetheless, how early is too early?
Good morning, you're waking up with Tim in the morning
on Kiss one oh seven one. We're in the midst
of talking about Halloween decorations. Let me usher you into
this conversation. When is too early to start putting them up?
(22:19):
Good morning? We'll start with you. You're on the air.
Speaker 11 (22:22):
So I thought, I don't I don't decorate for Halloween myself,
but I do love Halloween. But I still think May
September would be a perfect time to decorate.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
I get that, I get that things.
Speaker 11 (22:35):
I know and I know some people. They usually would
start in August.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Okay, August. August is still saying beach ball to me,
not twelve foot skeleton.
Speaker 11 (22:46):
That feels early, right, But I would think mid September
would be perfect.
Speaker 1 (22:51):
Okay, what's your name? With neighborhoody waking up with me?
Actually in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thanks for the call, Gal, I
appreciate you. Kiss one oh seven one, good morning. How
early is too? Are before September first? But it's offense
if you have like things going on, like the weekend
kind of around that time. Yeah, are you someone that
does put them up before September one? Okay?
Speaker 12 (23:11):
So like this year, yes, but because I had stuff
going on that, you know, like September first, so I
had like the three weekend, I didn't have my daughter
didn't have sports. I was like, all right, let's get
it done. So it may be up already.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Are those inside or outside? Inside? Okay? If since you're
an early decorator, and I get it, when you got
the time, you just got to commit. So if you
do put your Halloween decorations up in August, like our
last caller said, or early, you have to be okay
with the fact that people might think you're a little
cuckoo on the block. Well, yeah, you know what you
(23:45):
are to do.
Speaker 12 (23:46):
You know that's why you love Halloween.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
That's right, and that's why we get along so well.
You and I'm my gal, what's your name? What neighborhood?
You waking up with?
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Me?
Speaker 1 (23:54):
And Megan? I'm from well, thank you for the call.
I appreciate you. Okay after the Bengals, No, yeah, that hurt.
Speaker 12 (24:03):
It's okay, game one.
Speaker 1 (24:05):
We have the rest of them, so okay, yeah, we're
gonna save that for Three Things you Need to Know
at six fifty. That's skeleton. I have not spoken to
someone yet on my show. That's put the twelve footer up.
I want to hear from you. Five one, three, seven,
four nine seven one. Good morning. You're waking up with
Tiff in the morning on Kiss one O seven to one.
(24:29):
Kendrick Lamar just announced as the Super Bowl halftime performer.
We'll talk more on that in Three Things you Need
to Know coming up at eight fifty. How early is
too early to decorate for Halloween? That's the conversation that
you're walking into this morning talk Back with Tiff on
iHeartRadio to jump in on it.
Speaker 7 (24:47):
On the topic of decorating too early for Halloween, my
mother in law has a life size Michael Myers figurine
who lives in the basement in a closet, and on
September first every year, he comes upstairs and joins us
in the living room next to the window. So all
the neighbors can be terrified.
Speaker 8 (25:08):
Thank you for the talk back with tif. I. I
just I feel like I struggle a little bit with
Halloween decorations. One because I'm always in mourning when it
comes to departing from summer, so that's a personal stance.
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Two, I just don't love Halloween like scary things this
much cutesy like fall decoration. Sure, but a giant Michael
Myers in your living room.
Speaker 13 (25:35):
I am a put your decorations up for Christmas on
November first kind of girl.
Speaker 1 (25:40):
And I've never thought of Halloween.
Speaker 13 (25:42):
Decorations on September first, So I mean, I can't say anything.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Just don't get mad at me when I'm pumping out
Christmas tunes out of my car on November first, Okay.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
I like, you know what, that's all right. As soon
as Halloween wraps up, Christmas decorations go. So I understand
why those that really do love Halloween want more time
with it. Let's go to our phone lines. Good morning,
you're on the air.
Speaker 12 (26:08):
It's not early enough because we're already putting Christmas stuff
out in store.
Speaker 1 (26:13):
What stores have you gone to that you've seen Christmas decorations.
I've been to Load, I've been to Home Depot, I've
been to Walmart.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
I've been to Sam's Club, I've been to Big Lots.
Speaker 1 (26:25):
Aaron, what, Bobby? What neighborhood are waking up with me
in this morning? I live in Dell High Dell.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Hi.
Speaker 1 (26:31):
Thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning. You know,
I get it. Everyone's got their own, their own to
each his own. You could put a Bengals flag outside
of your house after yesterday's loss and people would still
support you. You know, all right, commercial free for a
little bit longer. Katy Perry is celebrating a milestone with
Hot and Cold. I believe it just turned like twenty
(26:51):
years old or something today, So we'll play that in
honor of her. And we're not far off from the
three things you need to know to get your day
started in sincey at eight fifty, Good morning, it's literally
always too early. That's great crowdling when you need to
know she's got you. It's three things with tip. Good morning,
(27:15):
Good morning. We're just before nine o'clock. How are you
well this update? I know yesterday was a tough loss
for our Bengals. I'll provide some hope later in the report,
but we're gonna start off with Kendrick Lamar. I'm shocked
one that the NFL made the halftime announcement so early
in the season. Typically this doesn't come until second week
(27:38):
in October, but we found out that Jay Z and
the Apple Music halftime show for Super Bowl twenty twenty
five will be Kendrick Lamar.
Speaker 5 (27:47):
They not like us, They not like us.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
They not like us, They not like us.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
You know, I was asked, Hey, is this, uh, what
do you think? I don't know, guys. I mean, Kendrick
huge right now.
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Now.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
I'm sure Drake is not well with the announcement, right
But no matter who they choose, I don't care which
genre you go with, the person has to have a
massive catalog that's recognizable across the nation. And I don't
know if Kendrick has that. Of course, one of the
(28:21):
biggest lyricists of all time, our greatest, right according to
Drake and him. The battle, I mean, that's one I think,
and how you look at it, huge, But I just
think if you were to ask, you know, let's say,
Cincinnati moms, can you name five Kendrick Lamar songs, it'd
probably be a maybe maybe not. It's definitely not a
definite yes. Now it had me spirally though, because I'm wondering, Okay, well,
(28:44):
let's go through this catalog. And he was on a
song probably one of my favorite Taylor Swift songs. Who
did the remix to bad Blood.
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Battle Wolves, Battlesculls, Body, Bunk Boule, Stepped in the Back, Grims,
don't Fight You jumping through, still around my lack at money, and.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
You Gotta live with the bed Blood. You don't know.
You don't think that Taylor had anything to do with
Kendrick Lamar being chosen for the super Bowl halftime show, right,
you don't think that. Now, It just has my brain
creating this conspiracy theory of like, well, maybe maybe she
comes out and joined. I doubt that Taylor Swift would
(29:21):
join anyone else's super Bowl halftime show, but she is
on this song with him because maybe you know what
you said, so take a look what you so good?
(29:48):
I love the music video to that one. So I
don't know. I mean, guys, I'm just putting them things
out there that I know for you. Second and three
things you need to know this morning. By now you've
woken up to the fact that we did not win
yesterday's game against the Patriots. Bummer it is. I just
feel like, since he's disappointed by the loss, here's Joe Burrow.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
You're more and more comfortable as the game goes, and
is as the season goes, the first name back from injury.
Speaker 3 (30:14):
So I was comfortable, but I don't think more comfortable
as to go.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
And then if you're looking for some hope, here's coach
Zach Taylor being like, listen, we got this.
Speaker 4 (30:23):
You just gotta take a deep breath. This is the
more we wanted.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Just gotta take a deep breath. It's some Monday. Let's
just take a deep breath, all right. And then, lastly,
in three things you need to Know this morning, the
Weekend debuted some new music at his live stream in
salth Paolo, I'll play a clip. This is coming off
of his new album. This is called Dancing in the Flames. Okay,
(31:09):
that sounds fun. So here's the deal. Last week I
announced that he's got his final album in the trilogy
coming out. We actually don't have a release date on it,
but it's titled Hurry Up. Tomorrow the cover of the
album's been released. This is supposedly the supposedly the last
album that The Weekend is going to put out using
the name The Weekend. That is three things you need
(31:30):
to know for the ninth of September. Best way to
keep listening to Tiff in the morning is on Iheartradium
by searching kiss one oh seven one, Good Morning, Happy Monday,
because you're.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
Waking up with five in the morning, Kiss one seven one.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
Did you see Beetlejuice? Beetlejuice this weekend? I didn't get
a chance to go and watch it in theater, but
typically on Mondays right around this time we chitchat about
the things that you watched. What's worth Sharon, You're right,
there's nothing better than Sharon, what you're watching. Got what
it was like for football to come back and have
your Sunday just completely chopped, unless you're motivated enough to
(32:09):
watch a one o'clock came and then go back in
and you know, do all the life stuff that you
need to catch up on. I most certainly am not.
You'll have to teach me your ways once Sunday rolls
around at one. I'm football. I have a couple. I
want to eat, drink and be merry. It's hard to
get motivated after that. Next Sunday we have a four
o'clock game, so you have plenty of time to get
your act together.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Wee.
Speaker 1 (32:29):
You get to get all your chores and all your laundry,
all your organizing. You gotta do it all on Friday
and Saturday, so that by the time Bengals roll around,
you have nothing but football to watch. Yeah, So back
to Beetlejuice. Beetle Juice. Typically, I go out to Showcase
Cinema every Sunday. It's my favorite movie theater on the planet.
I love it. I go to the movies by myself
all the time, and I highly recommend it if you
haven't had a chance to do it. It is such
(32:52):
a great way to dip your toe in the water
for doing stuff solow And it all started because when
I went through my breakup at the Finance Guy a
couple of years ago, I needed something to fill up
my brain space on Sundays, so I would just take
myself to the movies and it became a habit. I
love it. Air conditioner snacks or client seats. You're gonna
watch TV anyways, you might as well do it at
(33:12):
the movies, So Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice has only opened in North
America and had the second biggest September opening of all
time behind the twenty seventeen Stephen King adaptation of it,
which raked in one hundred and twenty three million, and
just in North America alone, because I guess the movie
(33:32):
hasn't been released nationwide yet or I'm sorry, globally, it
took in like one hundred and ten million, So box
office is big right now. Deadpool Wolverine has been pulling
money for weeks and weeks and weeks. It's been in
the theater for a solid month at this point, and
then Beetlejuice right behind that. What else has come in
this year into the I think, Oh, I'm blanking a
(33:54):
wicked Wicked is the Ariana Grande Cynthia, a Revo movie
that's coming out over Thanksgiving. I keep seeing her drop
different trailers of that one. I'm looking forward to it
for sure on TV. I'm hearing that tell Me Lies
is a really big one on Hulu right now. If
you're looking for something to watch, I myself have gotten
(34:15):
sucked into early two thousand's TV again, so I'll probably
be locked into Lost until twenty twenty five. I started
that for the first time. I do remember watching the
first season on TV when we would wait, you know,
weekly for episodes to come out. I'd mentioned this last week,
but that pilot episode episode alone of Lost cost them
(34:35):
fourteen million dollars to make, so one of the most
expensive TV shows to film of all time. So I
just made it to Lost season two yesterday. So there
you go. You got theater, you've got streaming, don't gatekeep.
I think one of the biggest things you can do
for someone in your inner circle is share what it
is that you're watching on TV. It is the biggest
universal topic at conversation. If you have a first date
(34:58):
this weekend, or maybe you're in a me and you've
jumped on the zoom a little too early and you're
just sitting there with that awkward coworker, just ask them
what they're working watching on TV. It works every time. Okay,
coming up at nine pint forty, you can tell my
brain's moving too fast from my mouth. Here we can
talk about the biggest thing that we chatted on my
show today and the daily debrief. How early is too
(35:18):
early to set up your Halloween decorations nit to that
next
