Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth inning.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Have you ever met a stranger in public, had an
intimate moment with them, a one night stand, and then
thought you were never going to see them again, and
turns out they come and find you. Good morning, Sarah.
A last is from WEBN and she's a friend of
our show.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Good morning Gal, Happy Friday.
Speaker 4 (00:23):
Thank you.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
We are going to help out a friend of mine.
So my friend hit me up and they said that
they had gone on a solo vacation to Florida earlier
this year. And while my friend was on that solo
vacation having themselves a time, she had a one night
stand with someone and she had said it was a
(00:46):
really positive, fun vacation experience, kind of one of those
memories that you'll have for forever. But didn't know who
the person was, didn't really know what their name was. Actually,
couldn't even remember their name if they had tried. And
I was like, good for you.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
You know what, I've never had a one night stand before, Sarah.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I haven't. I've always been a dedicated girly. But that's besides.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
We've we've got to get focused, because I could go,
we could go off the.
Speaker 4 (01:11):
Rails because so she my friend.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Says, you know, it was like a really positive, fun,
uplifting single solo experience. It really enhanced the trip and
it's been like living rent free in her head. Okay,
a couple of days ago, this person found my friend
oh and said, I'm gonna be in Cincinnati this weekend.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Would you be willing to meet up for dinner?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
How'd they connect?
Speaker 6 (01:39):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Did he texter?
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Call?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Email?
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Let me I have a screenshot of the email, So
let me read the email to you, and then you
let me know emails. Well, you know, how would you
find someone? I guess through social and then you email them?
What's the most appropriate things you do social?
Speaker 4 (01:55):
You email? There are two parts to this story, so
let me just give you the email. First.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Meeting that evening overlooking the beach and water was surprisingly
random and wonderfully enjoyable. I wasn't planning on traveling to
Cincinnati until early summer, but we'll be in the area
on Friday, the twenty first for meetings and a dinner.
I was hoping you'd be free on Saturday the twenty
second for dinner and drinks.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Drinks or dinner. I'm up for suggestions.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
I'll definitely take your recommendations for the finest, coolest places
to go. I'm not sure of your relationship status or
your interest in hanging out, but I thought i'd ask
just in case you'd be up for a not so
random conversation, this time hopefully filled with plenty of laughs.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
I hope to hear from you.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Okay, sounds like an older, mature gentleman.
Speaker 4 (02:43):
So at yes or no.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
If you had this one night experience with someone that
was magical in your head and you kind of thought
it was going to be the end of that, do
you think it's worth it to go back to that
person and do it again or is it just like
a one night stay that was magic, imperfect and you
don't know what to do with it.
Speaker 3 (03:02):
I mean, I think it's situational. If the chemistry was there,
then she would then I would.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Say, like doing go for it, mya, like your.
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Friends should take him up on it, have him pay
for a dinner, see how things go. But sometimes when
you're disconnected from the romance of a vacation and the
fantasy and then you get into real life stuff like
he's not here and she's living here in Cincinnati, and
it's like do we even really go down that route?
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Is it worth it? Maybe it's kind of a little.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Psycho that he ended up finding her, But again, if
the chemistry is there, then she should totally go out
with them.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
I like your take on that, because I too was
like to my friend, we had this, you had this
one night experience.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Leave it at that, But because what if it disappoints
right and it ruins it? But what if they end
up going out and she's surprised and the chemistry is
still there and things get even better and who knows
what it could lead to from there.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
But I guess it all just depends on how her
heart is. Okay, what I want to do? Five one, three, seven,
four nine one oh seven one? What would you do
in this situation? Put yourself in my friend's shoes? Should
she meet up for this dinner? Or leave it at is?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Good morning?
Speaker 4 (04:14):
You're waking up with tip in the morning on kiss
one oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
If you're just walking into the conversation, we're getting some
advice for a.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Friend of mine and Cincy who had gone on.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
A solo beach vacation earlier this year, had a one
night stand with someone.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
It was magical it was a great time.
Speaker 2 (04:30):
She thought that that was the end of it, but
then he found her and said, Hey, I'm actually going
to be in Cincy this weekend. Do you want to
meet up? So we're trying to decide yes or no.
As of right now, Sarah Lease from webn is a yes.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
I am kind.
Speaker 5 (04:45):
Of on the fence. I think if there was the chemistry,
okay she should. But it's also a little weird that
he found her via email.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Well, let me tell you.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Let me get your take on this, because I've got
the screenshots of the first email that he had sent
maybe a week or so ago.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Oh, there's multiples.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
There was a second email that went out that said, Hey,
I'm just trying to connect with you just in case
you'd like to go out on Saturday.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
I really hope to hear from you.
Speaker 2 (05:08):
Then he found her on both Twitter and Instagram and
also went on to say on Instagram of like, listen, like,
I don't use this app.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
I made an account.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
Oh, I made an account to see just like just
to try to connect with you. I hope this isn't weird,
but I am a paraphrasing, but I just was wondering
if you are going to be around.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
I'd love to meet you for dinner.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
One she should say, in a public spot with him.
Don't go down a dark alley or to an isolated place.
It sounds a little psychotic to me.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Well because there I don't know, there are multiple channels
of communication. I think that there was a lot of
effort put into this, and I really respect guys in
people that put effort into doing things. And I mean,
my friend must have really made a difference if he
had gone through three different platforms to find her, like.
Speaker 5 (05:58):
Okay, sex to that magicalness of that, let ever know
what she's doing in the shoes, that magic vagina.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
I God, but I don't know what to tell her
because I understand why she's a little like, wow, you're
putting a lot of effort into this. We initially started
this conversation too, because she's like should I just My
friend is like, should I just leave it at that?
Like it was a magical weekend and that was that?
Or if he's putting in the effort and let's do
it for the experience. You have nothing going on, you
(06:26):
have nothing to lose, Like, why don't you go out?
Speaker 5 (06:28):
I would want her to be alone with him. That's
for damn sure. I'll keep reiterating that. Has she even
responded to any of these yeah, my emails, Instagram's anything.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
My friend did respond and say I'll touch base with
you on Saturday and kind of let you know where
I'm at. So she gave herself like an in and
an out. But I don't I feel like my friend
doesn't want to throw away an experience, But my friend
is also nervous to kind of like ruin the magic
of what happened in January on the vacation.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Yeah, because again, once you're disconnected from that magical fantasy
situation it, things are going to be different.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
And then do you look back at it like, oh,
I wish I wouldn't have done that.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
But it could be the exact opposite, where the chemistry
is there, she's reminded of just how good it was,
and things connect in a deeper level and they move
forward and have a good future together.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
Who knows it could be one extreme or the other though.
Speaker 5 (07:25):
Does she want to be disappointed or get back into
the fantasy which turns into a reality.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
I don't know. I've never had a one night stand before.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Sarah Sarah Hi good morning, you're waking up with tip
in the morning on Kissueno said, well, when you're about
six minutes away from having your chance at ten different
pairs of concert tickets in your Apple wallet for this summer,
so don't go far. We're in the midst of getting
some advice for my friend. Good morning, you're on the air.
Speaker 7 (07:51):
Hey, I stam to remember that my friend might be
you because you went on a soul vacation where you
crashed them by the wedding.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
I'm thinking that this friend is you.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Well, you know who's to say, right, who's to say
who the friend really is?
Speaker 1 (08:10):
You know?
Speaker 2 (08:10):
But regardless, should my friend go out with this person
on Saturday or do you think just leave it at
that because she can't decide?
Speaker 7 (08:19):
I think like your friend is saying that you should
meet in a public place because what if what if
he wants to meet with this person to say he
has a HIV? I don't know, girl, GIRLA girla girl?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
Oh my god, we went from having a magical time
to being worried about.
Speaker 7 (08:40):
Our sexual health.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Geez, I think my friend used protection.
Speaker 7 (08:45):
Anyway, Okay, I'm glad your friend use protection. Okay, Well
that's all I wanted to say, because I just that's funny.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
What's your name?
Speaker 4 (08:52):
What's your name?
Speaker 9 (08:53):
Girl?
Speaker 4 (08:53):
My name Angela? Thank you so much for the call.
You know what that reminded me of.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
You ever told your mom something like, hey, I'm going
on vacation somewhere and she calls you and she's like, well.
Speaker 4 (09:02):
Do you hear about the sixty five deaths that happened
on that vacation spot?
Speaker 2 (09:05):
You're like, mom Na, Like moms love horrible news on
their iPad. All right, If you're just walking into the
conversation and you're like, Tiff, what is going on? I'm
gonna actually leave it at that, and you can get
caught up on the podcast at any point today once
I get it posted here. Just search to Tiff in
the morning on the iHeartRadio app. Okay, in the meantime.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Free when you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
It's three Things with Ti.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
Well, good morning, good morning. I really oh, I literally
short circuit it.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
I have a pair of tickets for you to go
to the FC Cincy game on Sat.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Saturday tomorrow is three to one. We're starting over. Hello, Adhd,
It's nice to meet you. Okay, I have a pair
of tickets for you to go to the soccer game tomorrow.
But first let's start off with what happened at CVG.
I had no idea that an EF one tornado touched
down at the airport. What did I just like sleep
(10:09):
through all these wild winds that we had peak wins
of one hundred and five miles an hour. It moved
to seven forty seven to five feet. Industrial buildings were
damaged and trees were uprooted.
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Thankfully, no injuries. But I had no idea that that happened.
Weather wise.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
I mean, we're in Cincinnati, somewhere in between, like Cincinnati's
first and second spring, right, temperatures are chilly in the thirties.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
It's only going to be in the fifties.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
And I refuse to look at the weather for opening
day because I am superstitious on that one.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
All right.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
Second, in three things you need to know, Bennie Blanco
and Selena Gomez released their album together, and they had
been teasing us, giving us clips here and there, and
of course I'll play a song from the album in
a hot second. But they were on one of my
favorite internet shows, Hot Ones, and they were talking about
their relationship even how Bennie Blanco is now is swifty
(10:59):
because of Selene.
Speaker 10 (11:00):
I wasn't like a true swifty until I was. No,
I didn't know, and now I'm like now, I'm like,
I'll be like, put that song on, how's that one
going again? And like we're in the car and I'm like, Wow,
I'm just like singing Taylor Swift songs from like ten
years ago, and I'm like, feel.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
I feel like Danny Vlocco's obsessed with Selena and there's
something really sweet and special about that, and I feel
like he's also I mean, he's a tremendous producer, but
I think he's bringing this side of Selena Gomez out
and the crowd is really loving it. I guess this
is a single off the album that just came out
last night at midnight.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
It's called Younger and Hotter than Me.
Speaker 9 (11:37):
Say you.
Speaker 4 (11:44):
Wish We're Not Again?
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Gotch girl?
Speaker 4 (12:06):
Tue all right? Second, and three things you need to
know this morning.
Speaker 2 (12:11):
If there is any new Music Friday recommendation that you
take from me, take this. Jack Carlow and Dosha Cat
song I Love It immediately came out at midnight last night.
It's called just Us and I'll explain why here in
hot sack.
Speaker 4 (12:24):
Here's please.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
Slow it down like Macaronie.
Speaker 7 (12:28):
I know it sounds like that, can cod it this
like sweet?
Speaker 9 (12:31):
I mean yeah, two hands on my throat, stabbing into
my soul.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
Leg up on that chair, hand on that on.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
Tell me in that throat, I don't play with my pens.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Leave it on a good note. Keep you on the hotel.
He did see me off in this show. Oh it's
so good.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
This is the third single that Jack Harlow has put
out this year. I love them all. I love this
energy that he's giving off. So so good. By the way,
if you haven't had a chance to watch the music
video yet, I was watching it myself.
Speaker 4 (13:02):
And there's Matt Damon's in it.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Matt Damon, John Mayer, Nicholas Brown, Malcolm Todd, and Pink
Panthers are all in this music video with Jack Harlow
and Dosha Cat, so I definitely recommend checking it out.
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the twenty first of March. I have your chance
to join me at FCC tomorrow. I'm pulling the sword
(13:29):
at the beginning of the match, so I would love, love,
love the support. I would love for you to go,
and they're celebrating Women's History Month as well, so your
chance to win those tickets are coming up around eight thirty.
Speaker 10 (13:38):
I used to talk to this girl from Cincinnati st like, Okay,
Fi the morning kiss Paul Revere.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Paul Revere is the keyword. You're gonna need to win
these soccer tickets. Okay, FCC's playing tomorrow and I'm pulling
the sword. I want you there in about ten or
so minutes, maybe fifteen minutes. Have you ever purchased something
that has made your life so magical you're so happy
that you have it.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
What was that item?
Speaker 2 (14:08):
Whether it was recently or maybe years ago, but to
this day, it still makes you so happy that you
have it.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
It could be ridiculous. Mine's ridiculous. What is that for you?
That's where this conversation is going.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
You can already start calling me if you want to chat,
or you can talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio
app while I explain. If you are a visual person
at the Tiff two F's Potter like the Wizard. It's
like maybe the third thing in my stories that I
put up yesterday. Last Saturday, I went to home goods
when it was raining, ladies, if you know, you know,
And I came across.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
A set of.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
Clearance candlesticks and I felt like such a pre colonial betch.
But I bought those things. And let me tell you,
these candlesticks have changed my life.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
They've changed the ambience of my apartment.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
I feel so lux, I feel so reach, I feel
so pre colonial, like transport it back to seventeen seventy
six in my Mount Adam's apartment.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
I can't stop. So I texted my friend and I said,
I've been I mean, I'm gonna put it on the internet.
I told all my friends. I was like, I got
these candlesticks. They've made me so happy.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
And everyone's giggling about it cause they're like TIF one
if by land, two if by sea, And I'm like,
that's right. Get on the ship, bitch. I will take
us to higher ground. I will lead the way. If
the power goes out. I have the candlesticks. If for
some reason we need to get on Noah's Arc, I will.
I will light the way.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
Growing up, I.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Don't know if this is an Ohio thing. You'll have
to confirm this or not. Growing up in Massachusetts from
middle schoolers. You had to learn mid the Paul Revere's
Ride poem.
Speaker 4 (15:52):
Do you guys know what that is? If I recite it,
will you know?
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Listen, my children, and you shall hear of the midnight
Ride of Paul Revere. I'm the eighth of April and
seventy five. Hardly a man is now alive who remembers
that famous day and year. He said to his friend,
if the British march by land or sea from the
town tonight, hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch
of the north Church tower as a signal light one
if by land, two if by sea, And.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
That's I feel like.
Speaker 2 (16:20):
I mean, Paul Revere could ride through Mount Adams and
he'd be like, cool, the British are coming.
Speaker 4 (16:28):
I'm not okay.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Five one three, seven, four nine, one oh seven one.
You obviously know Paul Revere's the keyword. I want to
know of the last thing that you purchased, ridiculous or
not that clearly that has brought you as much joy
as he's damn candele.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
Six, have.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
Thank you so much for indulging me on this. You're
waking up with Tim in the morning on kissue O
sev one. Clearly it's brought me a lot of joy.
We're talking about the things that you have purchased, either
recently or from the past, that have just brought you
the most amount of changed your life.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
By the way, Paul Revere is the keyword.
Speaker 2 (17:04):
You're gonna need to win the FC Cincinnati tickets coming
up in three minutes.
Speaker 11 (17:08):
I bought these things are called self please, so it's
a Heavalian instant, and they're just like this fancy thing
to you know, serve stuff on at a dinner party
or something. I spent way too much on them. I
don't even know why, because I don't entertain, like I
never have people over.
Speaker 4 (17:24):
But that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (17:25):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff. When you
search kiss on the I Heard app. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner, you simply hold that
down and then you can talk to me in that
way if you don't feel like calling. That brought you
joy though, if you're just walking into the conversation. And
the reason why the keyword is Paul Revere is because
I went to Home Goods and purchased clearance candlesticks, and
(17:46):
I feel I feel like I've been transported back to
seventeen seventy six. One if by land, two if by sea.
I'm ready to go.
Speaker 11 (17:55):
A really extensive squalling face cream.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
I don't even know what that is, but like.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Three hundred dollars an ounce and he definitely I had
to like get a different online profile so he didn't
see it at all or joint credit card opsays.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
I'm assuming you're talking about your partner.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
Hey, you know that happens. That happens sometimes. Thank you,
like I said, for indulging me. If you're a visual
person at the Tiff to F's potter like the Wizard,
it's like the third or.
Speaker 4 (18:20):
Fourth thing in my stories.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
Okay, if you can give me three minutes, I have
your chance to win tickets to FC Sinc's game tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (18:27):
I get to pull the sword. I'm really honored.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
I'd love to have you there to watch and also
just be a part of the experience and the action.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
In fact, I have.
Speaker 4 (18:34):
Like multiple tickets to give away, so don't go far.
Speaker 1 (18:38):
So you're waking up with Tiff in the morning on.
Speaker 2 (18:41):
All right, good morning. I'm really hoping you have a
keyword for me. Congratulations. That's the keyword. You got the tickets,
You're going to FCC tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (18:50):
Perfect?
Speaker 4 (18:51):
Can you recite any of Paul Revere's ride?
Speaker 2 (18:53):
No shot, no worries with my candlesticks, I'll take care
of us if the British are coming, all right? One?
Speaker 4 (18:58):
If I land do if I see what's your name?
What neighborhood? Waking up with me? And I'm Brad, Brad,
thank you for listening to Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
Yeah, problem.
Speaker 2 (19:06):
I am pulling the sword tomorrow, so I'm I'm glad
that you're going.
Speaker 3 (19:10):
To be there.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
I have at least one more pair to give away
on the air. Hi, do you have a keyword?
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (19:18):
Congratulations, you got the tickets, you got the keyword?
Speaker 4 (19:21):
You're coming tomorrow's match?
Speaker 7 (19:23):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (19:23):
Yeah, thank you, You're welcome.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
What's your name? With neighborhood? You waking up with me?
Speaker 1 (19:26):
And I'm in Cincinnati.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
And did you have to recite Paul Revere's ride growing up?
Speaker 4 (19:31):
Or was that just a Massachusetts thing?
Speaker 11 (19:32):
Massachusetts?
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Okay, yeah, that was that was I remember walking through
my hometown with my dad and we had to learn
this poem together because I had to recite it for
like some sort of middle school test, and so we
would just we would walk and I just remember that
with my dad. Okay, if you want to go to
(19:53):
FCC tomorrow, they're playing Atlanta.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
It's an afternoon game at two thirty. I'm pulling the sword.
Speaker 2 (19:57):
I would appreciate and love to have you there and
thank thank you so much for the support, not just there,
but every day on the show. I do have more
tickets to give away on my Instagram right now.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
Very easy. It's like a low commitment thing.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
It's the number one thing in my stories at the
Tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard. In the meantime,
we're still commercial free and we're three minutes out from outcast,
So don't go.
Speaker 1 (20:18):
Far, Lenn. You need to know she's got you. It's
three things with Tiff.
Speaker 4 (20:26):
Good morning. If you are going.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
To order on door Dash this weekend but you did
not get paid today, do.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
Not go far.
Speaker 2 (20:36):
We're just before nine o'clock on this Friday. Temperatures were
cold this morning, in the thirties, and we're really only
going to see highs in the fifties over the next
couple of days with potential rain showers all right. Before
we get to door Dash Let's start off with Marty Brennaman.
The Red's announced yesterday that they're putting up a statue
in his honor on September sixth outside of Great American Ballpark,
(20:58):
and the sculpture will depat Marty behind the radio microphone
as he was for forty six years. This as we
are just days away from opening day, less than a week,
lots of things to look forward to over the next
couple of days and you know months with the season,
et cetera. They're playing in Dayton on Tuesday, and then
(21:20):
opening day broadcast of course with John John and friends
outside of more Line Logger House on the actual day.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
I'll be down there.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Lots of things to celebrate and also at big congratulations to.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Maddie Mattie Brennaman.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
All right, and the second and three things you need
to know this morning if you plan on door dashing
and you didn't get paid. They just made this announcement
feel like it could be a little lethal that they've
partnered with Klarna.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
If you didn't know what Klarna was. It's like an
afterpay situation, like you can lay away your chicken tenders
and make four easy payments to pay off your door dash.
I don't know how I feel about this.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
I'm already super caught up with the surge prices and
the service fees and whatever it is to get your
food to your house. And now it's so expensive that
you're gonna have to after pay it.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Oh my god. It's either really smart or really bad idea.
But be aware.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
You know that when you do order this weekend, you
do have the chance to make it in installments.
Speaker 7 (22:16):
All right.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
Then, lastly, and three things you need to know. It's
new music Friday.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
We've played a few from Benny Blancos, Alena Gomez, Jack
Carlo Dosha Cat and in this hour we're gonna touch
based on a brand new Jonas Brothers song. This is
called Love Me to Heaven, a part of their new
project coming out this summer.
Speaker 10 (22:33):
Just one of those seven to one is celebrating Women's
History Month with another female owned local business.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Good morning.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
I love introducing you to places and people and things
that I think you're gonna enjoy. And Navina and Elena
own and operate a female owns and a Latin owned
barbershop in Levin and this is called Deep Roots.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
Good morning, Thank you for joining me. E I appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
Thank you by So, talk to me a little bit
about the concept of your business, because it's LGBTQ plus friendly,
it's Latin owned, it's a barber shop mixture the tattoo parlor,
plus there's some coffee there from Deeper Roots. Kind of
talk me through the concept a little bit.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
So the concept is it's a place for everybody.
Speaker 6 (23:18):
So it's like an old school corner shop where you
can go and it's just got a nice chill vibe.
Everybody there is friendly, and it eventually it feels like
your family. So people come in all the time and
just hang out, or they come in and they get
their services done, whether that be weekly, bi weekly, whatever.
We have people that travel from out of town and
(23:39):
they just go between the little five rooms that we
have and hang out.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
You get a little bit of everything. You a little tattoo,
you get a little haircut. And I mean, obviously in
girl world, we know how important it.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
Is to have our stylist, right.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
But guys, if you're looking for a barber shop experience
Deep Roots in Lebanon, do you have guys that come
in and for the experience.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
Oh yeah, we have of scalp scrubbers and little massagers.
We have hot towels. They absolutely love the hot towel shave.
Heck yeah yeah, okay, sbourbon free beer, deep roots in lebon.
You have to remember this. So what is the trendiest
haircut for a.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Guy right now?
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Oh god?
Speaker 4 (24:14):
What is it? Let me talk Elena?
Speaker 2 (24:17):
Let me And that's the voice of Elena, who I
haven't had a chance to chat with yet.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
What is the trendiest cut for a guy right now?
Speaker 9 (24:22):
Oh god? Is it? The alpaca is likely, the bananas,
the ice cream cone, whatever you want to call it.
It's the low taper faide. It's something that TikTok had
trended on at some point, and these boys went from
mullets to this taper fade and it it's.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Yes, anyone listening right now in girl world or moms
are like, yeah, my son just loves this haircut. I
mean you go to a like a bar that's got
anyone from Xavier or U.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
See there it's the same haircut.
Speaker 9 (24:53):
But these boys went from like no style to mom,
I need powder, I need sea salt spray. Where's the
flat iron? You're blow dryer, the round brush. They're spending
forty five minutes in the morning fixing their hair, trying
to get height underneath it. Oh my, almost like mal
(25:14):
bangs from like nineteen eighties. They want the big hair
and if it ain't fluffy, it ain't for them.
Speaker 7 (25:21):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (25:21):
Do you think that this trend is going to stick
around for the rest of the year or are we
moving on?
Speaker 6 (25:25):
No, they're they're definitely moving into like buzz cuts. We've
cut off a ton of hair this week.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Really. Yeah, so you heard it here on Tiff in
the morning. The l paca, the ice cream cone, whatever
you want to call it, is on its way out, and.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
The buzz is back like the Joe Burrow blonde. Buzz
is bad, like a whole burr. If you're an old
school barber, you would know what a burr is. It's
just a basic clipper cut. Wow, ladies, I'm learning something though, Guys,
if you're looking for a barber, Deep Root it's in Lebanon. Also,
they have a tattoo shop there as well, experience based
(25:58):
Latin owned female And of course we'll continue to celebrate
Women's History Month for the entire month of March here
on Kissuano seven one.
Speaker 4 (26:05):
Thanks for coming in ladies.
Speaker 7 (26:07):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
You're waking up in the morning, Kiss morning.
Speaker 4 (26:13):
You're walking into the daily debrief.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
It's where I choose the biggest thing we talked about
on today's show and review it for you, just in
case you're starting your day and this will be the
last time you and I debrief before.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
We head into the weekend.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
So what could have possibly been the biggest thing of
the week and today Love Lust Scandal all making their
way to Cincinnati on Saturday. My friend had asked me
for some advice because my friend had an intimate moment
with someone a couple of months ago on their vacation
(26:44):
and she thought that that was the only time that
she was ever going to see this person. Turns out
he's coming to Sincy this weekend and asked if she
wanted to get together, and my friend has no idea
what to do.
Speaker 8 (27:00):
Hey TIF, good morning from the cold beer guy. What
is up with this weather? Unbelievable? Anyways, Yeah, I say
definitely go this weekend. See what happens. You never know
what it could turn into. Sure, but I see your
point about the magical thing also, but hell, see what happens.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Thank you for the talk back with TIF.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
You two can leave me voice notes and participate in
the show without actually speaking to me. The microphone is
in the top right hand corner of the iHeartRadio app. Yeah,
I will tell my friend what you said.
Speaker 5 (27:27):
You know, Hey, Kiff, it's Jackie driving to work, and
I don't think it's weird because you're a radio personality.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Mean, let's face it.
Speaker 4 (27:37):
Girl, you're kind of famous and easy to.
Speaker 11 (27:40):
Find, especially on socials.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
So yeah, maybe do the public thing, but go for it.

seem to be confused, this is about my friend, Okay,

the morning on the iHeartRadio app at some point today
or maybe this weekend. I'd love to have you in
the meantime. Happy Friday.
