Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, I kiss
on good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I've been practicing this woman's voice for the last two songs. Hi,
this will ultimately end us having a conversation about things
you have spent money on that you couldn't afford. Somehow
you made it work and you didn't regret it. So
if you have something's coming to mind, good, good, good good.
I need you can either start calling me. It might

(00:27):
even be best to leave a talkback with Tiff on
the iHeartRadio app. You'll see the microphone next to the playbottom.
Can shoot me an Instagram message. Whatever works for you.
I've been perfecting this woman's voice because I ran into
her and I see her just I see her all
the time, coming up in the elevator the same time
I do.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
At the crack of dawn. She gets into her office early.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
She works on floor three of my building and we're
on a different one. And she says to me, looks
deep into my soul. This morning, she says, I got
one more day. I got one more day, and I'm
going on vacation. She like, I couldn't be more excited.
I said, heck, yes, I'm going on a girl's trip
to dale Haller or what's that? What's that town right

(01:06):
next to Cumberland?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
She said right.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
I said, I don't know where that is clearly, and
she's it's right next to Cumberland.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Beautiful. I said, okay, great.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
I said, what you guys doing in the airbnb hochel
She's like, I got an rvy. She's the other ladies
they got their cabins, but I got an rvy. We
got the cabins because we need to slip for the boat.
I mean, this is all in one elevator ride. Guys,
I'm borderline ready to pack my bags and join her
on this trip.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
I love Norris Lake. I was just there a week
or so ago, and I say, well girl, I said, girl,
you have a great time. She said, you know, I will.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
She made it sound like she was going on a
week's where the vacation the woman's taking a long weekend.
But that is how bad people want vacations. There is
a I'm gonna quite I sound choogie by saying new term,
but it's called the justy vacation. Seventy three percent of

(02:05):
people who are in this survey, and I don't know
that could have been three people or could have been
a million, said that they're in desperate need of a vacation.
I think that really just tracks for everyone right now.
There's just so much going on. One thing leads to another,
next thing. You know, we're at August one on Thursday.
We've got a lot, you know, to fit in before
school starts and such.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
So this justy vacation is really just either the millennial
or gen Z way of.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Saying, I'm gonna do something even though I can't afford it.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
It's short for.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Justified vacation, and of this survey, forty nine percent of
people who said they can't afford it are just going
to go off and do it anyways, which is I
think when it comes to certain things that you really
desperately want or need, that happens quite a bit. You
can insert whatever it might have been. A Taylor Swift ticket,

(02:56):
either here or abroad.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
I'm thinking of things.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's sales tax weekend or I'm sorry, sales tax free Week.
It's not even a weekend anymore. It starts today. By
the way, if you miss that in three things you
need to know, sales tax week pretty much hits everything
including food, close books. It just of what you obviously
can't use it for, you know, alcohol and tobacco, et cetera.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
But where's that going with this?

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Oh yeah, there's so many things, vacation being one of
them that you just when you need it, you find
a way to make it happen. So I had just
mentioned earlier in the conversation, if you're just walking in
the door here, welcome to the party.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Hi.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Is there something that you have justified doing or taking
or buying and you just didn't quite have the funds
for it, but you made it happen anyway, and you
didn't regret it.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
What is that thing?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I'm curious to see what we get on the show
this morning. I'll put my number out there, although I
would love it if you saved it in your phone.
Five one three seven four nine one oh sepa one.
Good morning. In the meantime, we're still commercial free. And
if you are not blasting this song on two wheels
wherever it is that you're heading off to this morning.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
You're waking up with TIF in the morning on kissue
oh seven one. We're about an hour away at eight
forty from your chance to win Voices of America Music
festival passes for next weekend, four days worth of music.
Diplow's gonna be with us at Kissjue oh seven one,
Sam Hunt, and so many more.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
So don't go far. I don't want you to miss it.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
In the meantime, come on in and join us for
this conversation. We're in the midst of talking about just
ye vacations, which is a shorter term for justified vacations,
which essentially means I need a vacation very badly, and
I don't necessarily have the extra funds for it, but
I'm gonna find a way to make it work, which
is just life right. Apparently, almost one hundred percent of

(04:48):
people from this thing I read need a vacation so
bad this summer. Even though they don't have the funds,
they're gonna find ways to make it work. So five one, three, seven,
four nine one o seven one to joining them this
content and converse station this morning. Things that you've spent
money on that you didn't regret how you're on the air.

Speaker 3 (05:07):
You know, I mean, I do have a story I
could tell as far as that.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
For me, it was more just I don't know.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
I've never found myself regretting spending a lot of money
to spend time with friends like that.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Okay, good. You never really remember.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Like I lost the brand.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You just think I'm glad I did it. That's a
great point. What was your name, by the way, what
neighborhood call me from?

Speaker 5 (05:26):
Greg?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
I'm from Chiviat. Thanks for collin, Greg. We'll start with
you line too.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 6 (05:32):
Next.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
I was just calling to tell you about a trip
that I took that cost way too much money. Okay,
long story short, I absolutely think you should go. The
money will always come back. But when I was in
my early twenties, I went to this fundraising event. There
was a live auction and I wanted to win this
red ticket package because my nephew loved the reds and

(05:55):
it was a game in Atlanta, like hotel, flight on
Ultimate and air all that like private stuff. So I
was bidding up against this guy, this older guy, and
he looked at me and he was like, are you
even married? And I was like, wow, what does that
have to do with anything? So at that point it
was personal and I ended up spending like I think,

(06:16):
like three thousand dollars on this street.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
Regrets, no, yes, no regrets.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
I loved it, and I have a good story to say,
like through that guy and I had a good time.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Okay, good What was your name? By the way with
neighborhod call me.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
From Barbara from Kobdale.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Thank you for the call, Barbara. I really appreciate it
when you guys jump in and join the show. I
love that one five, win, three seven, four nine one
O seven one. She said, Oh yeah, you want to
go toe to toe with me. I might not have
the money, but I've got an EMX and the meantime
we're still commercial free.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
When you need to know she's got you, it's three
things with TIF on.

Speaker 7 (07:00):
TI.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
We're just before eight o'clock. At eight forty. I have
a chance for you to win a not a family.
I have a chance for you to whim a pair
of tickets to the voices of American Music Festival next weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
It's four days' worth of music.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Dipplo will be with us at Kiss, Sam Hunt and
more So don't go far. Let's start off with Sales
Tax Weekend, which I guess was originally a weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
It's now grown to a full week.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
It starts today, but it includes one thing I would
have never expected.

Speaker 4 (07:29):
The holiday gives shoppers a temporary exemption on sales tax.
It was created to ease the financial strain of getting
kids ready to go back to school. In past year
is only school supplies and clothing were eligible. This year,
the sky is almost the limit. For instance, there's no
sales tax until the eighth on food eating in a restaurant.
Matter of fact, about the only things not eligible for

(07:50):
the sales tax break include motor vehicles, boats, smoking, and
vaping products.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
I would have never guessed that eating out at a
restaurant would be excluded or included.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
They're for sales text weekend, So there you go.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Second and three things you need to know this morning,
Let's do a drive by Olympic update. I'm not sure
what you've heard from from where, so here's just a
general outline of what's to come and what happened. Big
one yesterday is that the men's gymnastics team took home
bronze for the first medal in sixteen years.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
It's a home one. Cod to Boges you Wortle's hys
over team. You want to tay then you'll be on
that metals dam. Listen to the cheers in the background.

Speaker 6 (08:33):
Now.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
I know we have fans for the first time since
the pandemic, but there's something different about these games. Locked
in engage influencers are there. Everyone's talking about it. Women took,
Women went, we Ween, We meet women at Basketball one yesterday,
Men's basketball play stuse Who Dan tomorrow, and the women's

(08:53):
gymnastics team final is tonight.

Speaker 1 (08:55):
I think a lot of people are going to be
locked in for that one.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
I Heart Radio z exclusive audio partner of the NBC Game,
so we have hourly updates for you. And then, finally,
in three Things you Need to Know, Katie Perry announced
the release date of her next single. This is called Lifetimes,
coming out on August ninth. Well, oh, I love that.

(09:26):
I love that song. Her album comes out in September.
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the thirtieth of July. Coming up next, Make a
Date or Break. It's where relationships and therapy comes together
on TIF in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Join us at eight twenty for that.

Speaker 8 (09:41):
It's time to make a Date or Break on TIF
in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Relationships and therapy come together on the show every Tuesday
at this time.

Speaker 8 (09:48):
Laurie, were you stuck in the traffic out there. I was, Oh,
my gods, is it a nightmare? It was when seventy
times closed.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
You know you're like, oh, no, okay, Well, hopefully we
will give you something entertaining to chitchat and think about
while you're sitting in the traffic. We'll start off with
this message I got. This is where relationships and therapy
come together. So you are our relationship relationship expart. Last
night I went out with a gun. We went to
a nice restaurant, but I wasn't feeling it after the date.
I thanked him, told him I didn't want to have

(10:17):
another date, wished him luck. A few minutes later, he
messaged me asking him asking me to send him one
hundred and twenty five dollars for my half of the dinner. Honestly,
if he had told me from the beginning that we'd
be going Dutch on the meal, I wouldn't have had
a problem with that. But I didn't choose a restaurant,
didn't look at the bill, or we never discussed splitting
the tab with him. Should I send him the money

(10:38):
or just ignore him and move on?

Speaker 8 (10:41):
So I think that, first of all, if there is
going to be some sort of splitting a payment or
payment's going to be an issue, It's always best to
have the conversation in the front, which is what she's saying.
I if that conversation had come up prior, she would
have been more okay with it. I think the biggest
issue is like the surprise, like, oh, you're giving me
a bill.

Speaker 1 (10:59):
There's so much, many things to unpack here.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Number one, if I can't, I just I'm naive to
dating and sincy, but I can't imagine going out on
a date and ahead of time discussing that we're going
to split the bill.

Speaker 8 (11:11):
Is that what we're doing now? Well, I think that
is for some people. So finances is a really particular thing,
number one thing. It is the number one thing. A
lot of couples fight about it. So this is kind
of a good glimpse into what this could look like.
Some people really like to lead with us, to say
it's important to me to split this, or I want
to treat you. But I think a lot of times
the assumption is is that the man will treat in

(11:32):
this case. And so I think that part of this
is knowing kind of heading in where your expectations and
your boundaries are obviously she was thrown. She said she
wasn't feeling it, so it would it would. I would
not be happy about it either. I think whether or
not she pays, that's on her. That's on she feels,
like how much? Does she just want to wrap this
up and be.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
Done with it.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
The first thing that I caught out of that whole
message that surprised me was the fact that they went
there to an expensive place to begin.

Speaker 1 (11:59):
With on a first date. I don't see that as
much on first dates anymore.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
It's a lot of coffee chats or happy hour drink,
something that's very low budget, low.

Speaker 1 (12:09):
Committed, no entry, yeah, easy barrier to entry.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (12:12):
So that surprised me at the gate that the meal
was one hundred and twenty five dollars per person, right, yeah,
So in your opinion, does she pay them or does
she just kind of let it go?

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Uh?

Speaker 8 (12:24):
I mean, I think if she wants to close this
chapter and just be wrapped up and done with it,
pay them and learn a lesson about the fact that
maybe if you are going to go to a nice
restaurant or there's going to be something with more expense
to it, have that conversation beforehand.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Is it bad that every ounce of me inside of
my body feels uncomfortable about this whole message?

Speaker 1 (12:44):
And I don't know what to do. I wouldn't know
what to I don't know what to do.

Speaker 8 (12:47):
I mean that's why I said, I feel like she's
really got to figure out like how, like how does
this feel for her?

Speaker 1 (12:52):
Does it feel better to pay and move on or
does it just feel better to do nothing.

Speaker 8 (12:56):
And move on. It is a weird situation, I think
anytime again, we're checking changing the expectations at the end,
it's it's hard to manage.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
So let's do this five one three, seven, four nine
one seven one. If you've been in a situation like this,
of course I want to hear from you, but also
would you pay it or let it go? Good morning,
you're waking up with a tiff in the morning on
kiss one O seven one. We're about four minutes away
from your chance to win voices of American Music Festival Passes,
and you'll need the keyword make a date or break.

(13:24):
Laurie Sharpage and I were just in the midst of
answering a DM I got about when you go out
with someone and your half of the bill is one
hundred and twenty five dollars. You don't know this until
the bill comes and goes, and then after the date ends,
when you say, hey, this wasn't for me, but I
loved meeting you, he Venmo requests you one hundred and
twenty five dollars.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
That's where we're standing right now.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
We've gotten your opinion, we've gotten my opinion, and now
I want since's opinion.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
So we'll start with you. You're on the air.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Ain't no way I'm paying after we've already went out.
So I have the conversation beforehand. I have zero expectations
for what happens after dinner, keep myself safe from that
expectation that sometimes occurs when.

Speaker 5 (14:04):
A guy pays.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Sure, I offer to pay my half, happy to so
I have that conversation. I approached that before we go out,
and then you know, he decides I'm gonna treat you
and it doesn't work out. There's no asking me to
pay half after that and sor you're hurt that it
didn't work out. But that's why we go out on date.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
What's your first name of what neighborhood you calling me from?

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Rachel from AA.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Okay, Rachel just walk me through this.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
So you would or have gone out on a first
date and you've said before the date even started, I
would like to split the bill with you up front.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Oh damn, I sure have.

Speaker 5 (14:38):
Absolutely, Oh my god, I.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Love this proactive community.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I mean, a girl's dream is to find somebody, or
a guy's dream to find somebody that's equal as communicative
as you. But I just I could could never see
myself doing that ahead of time.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
It sounds like it feels a little awkward at first,
but just do it a couple of times. It's most
of the guys are accepted.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
But I'll tell you what.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
One way to tell if you've got a guy who
communicates well and how they do is how they react
to that kind of question too.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
Okay, well, thank you for the call. I appreciate you girl.
Thoughts LORI, I love it.

Speaker 8 (15:10):
I love that she has practiced this, that this is
part of her how she rolls, and I do agree.
I mean, it's a great way to kind of gauge
how somebody communicates.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
I'm not kidding my Armpitser's wedding. I feel like I'm there.
Maybe it's because I'm naive to the dating world.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Here in Cincy. I don't go out on many first dates.
Let's check our talk backs real quick on this one.
Another great way to participate in the show is on
the Iheard app. You'll see the microphone next to the
play button.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
You know, it's definitely not okay to add for a
refund after that first date. Listen, you're taking the chance
you have to go with that the same investment. Okay, No,
it's terrible.

Speaker 8 (15:47):
Yeah, he's not getting a lot of support from this
so and I love that he phrased it as a
refund because I think that is the right way to
look at it, is that I'm getting a refunt from
the whole experience.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
And yeah, that's that is less cool.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Make a date or Break is where relationships and therapy
come together. Here on the show, you can comment and
ask questions. Lori sharpage is our professional Ah?

Speaker 1 (16:10):
What was I gonna say? We both had said this restaurant? Yeah,
what restaurant did you go to? And was it good?
Five dollars? All right?

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Voices of American Music Festival passes. If you have the
key word, go ahead and dial it up baby five
one three seven, one seven one.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Good luck in the meantime, we're still commercial free. You're
waking up with Tiff in the morning on kiss good morning.
I'm hoping you have a keyword for me.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
It makes day to break.

Speaker 7 (16:39):
Yes, it is.

Speaker 5 (16:41):
All right.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Well, thank you for waking up with Tiff in the
morning every day. I appreciate you. I guess I don't know.

Speaker 6 (16:48):
I love your show.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
I love listening to you in the morning. It's it's
my Tuesday inspiration.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
And I'm not just saying that. That's the God's on
the true.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
Well, thank you very much on Tuesday morning. Well, thank
you very much for waking up with Tiff in the
morning every day. I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
I didn't even get your name. What neighborhood you call
me from? My name is Summer and Summer. You were
just listening to our conversation about make a date or break?
What are your thoughts on splitting the bill?

Speaker 3 (17:16):
There?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Or I'm sorry, And it wasn't even splitting the bill, Laurie.
It was he requested, what are your thoughts?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Yeah, that that kind of blew my mind a little bit,
I mean afterwards, Yeah, that's a little odd, but I
do like.

Speaker 7 (17:33):
What was your name?

Speaker 5 (17:34):
Was it Rachel?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Yeah? It was Rachel.

Speaker 7 (17:38):
Okay, br.

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Uh, cut you cut out a little bit, summer. I'm
gonna put you on hold. I'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (17:44):
She just went passes voices of American Music Festival that's
next week in.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
Four days worth of music. Laurie, I feel like this
guy's getting a bad rap, and I feel bad for him.

Speaker 8 (17:55):
I mean, I think that every action has consequences, and
in this case, there were some consequences to his Venmo request.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Listen, splitting the bill is fine. I just think it
was a little jarring to Venmo requestedly. I like the
way our talkbacker put it. It was like a refund.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, that's where it gets grown. It felt a little
REFUNDI no refunds.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Baby, all right, Lori sharpage make a date where break
happens every Tuesday and at eight twenty you're more than
welcome to follow her on on Instagram at the Coping Queen.
And if you have a question for us, don't. I mean,
nothing's too out of pocket, No, please bring it on.
Everything happens in relationships coming up after fifty cent, I
have the three things you need to know to get

(18:35):
your day started.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
And since you don't go far when you need to
know she's got you. It's three things with tip. Good morning.
How dialed in are you to the Olympics.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
I'm not sure what you've heard and where you heard
it from, so we're just gonna do like a general
outline on the big things last night. The big one
was the men took bronze and the team all around
for the gymnastics, everyone's locked into Simone Bile.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
The team finals are tonight.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
I had to steal my roommate's password to get into Peacock,
but I'm locked in, baby Okay. Men's basketball plays tomorrow.
Women are going to continue their fight after winning yesterday.
San volleyball is on court, volleyball is on I feel
like it's just everywhere all the time.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
So I'll continue to give you updates on that.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
I Hurt Radio as the exclusive audio partner of the
NBC Olympics. We've covered it extensively this morning, so I
don't want to repeat myself, so we'll have hourly updates
for you. This thing about Celine Dion and shoes, though,
is trending, and of course she just did the opening ceremony.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (19:35):
The US men's gymnastics team. I lie that was my
Olympic Games report. I'm sorry. We're doing a lot of
things here at once. Okay, here it is Celine Dion
on shoes.

Speaker 6 (19:44):
When a girl loves her shoes, she always make them fit.
I have worn shoes my friend. My toes were like
this because they didn't have my size every time I
went to a store, and I love those. She was
I said, what size are you, ma'am? I said, no,
you don't understand what size do you have. I'll make

(20:06):
them work. I'll make them fifth. I will walk this shoe.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
What an icon.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Meanwhile, we had this whole conversation yesterday about the woman
in the green dress from TikTok who's saying that no
one wears heels to the club anymore.

Speaker 1 (20:19):
That is not the case for Celine Dion.

Speaker 6 (20:22):
What size are you, ma'am? I said, no, you don't
understand what size do you have. I'll make them work.
I'll make them fifth, I will walk.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
All right.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
I don't know where we're at. Second or third thing
you need to know. Justin Timberlake's lawyer was in court yesterday.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Here. He is.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Justin Timberlake was not intoxicated.

Speaker 4 (20:41):
We're very confident that charge that criminal charge will be dismissed.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Driving while intoxicated and failing to keep right is what
he is charged with.

Speaker 1 (20:52):
When there's more on that, I'll have it for you.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
I've also mentioned this, but finally we'll just touch base
on Sales Tax Week.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
It starts.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Sales Tax Free Week starts today and it lasts for
the entire week. It includes restaurants as well. It's not
just books and clothes and shoes and stuff. That's one
thing I learned this morning. That is three things he
needs to know over the thirtieth of July. The best
way to keep listening to Tiff in the mornings on
the free iHeartRadio app Just search Kiss one oh seven one.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
It's time for Tuesday tips on tiff in the Morning.
Good morning, Abby. How dialed into the Olympics? Are you
right now?

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Well?

Speaker 7 (21:26):
I was working from my couch yesterday watching the Olympics
the whole day. The men symnastics team I like streaming
at my TV.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
It's cot, don't you feel like?

Speaker 6 (21:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
And I know the last Olympics didn't have any fans
because of the pandemic. But there's something about this one though,
that I feel like everyone is locked in on.

Speaker 7 (21:47):
Yeah, they was so exciting to watch. I know they
said they haven't won a goal or a medal since
like two thousand and eight, so I was so good
in I forget his name, but the guy that came
in for.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
The pommel horse and I just it was awesome.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
So I'm definitely. I mean, I think I watched all
day yesterday while I worked.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
What I'm sure there's Olympic events happening here that we
can't mess Stephen something Stephen Etarosik is the guy from
the Palmer Horse, by the way, that's his name.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
Yes, yes, okay.

Speaker 7 (22:15):
So something fun that Newport on the Levee is doing
is they have Olympic Village set up at the levee,
and then a lot of the different businesses on the
levee are doing Olympics inspired events. So there's trivia at
Wood and Cast Brewery. On the thirtieth, which is today tomorrow,

(22:36):
there is going to be an Olympics seem to workout,
and then on the first there's Shiners on the Levee,
which is one of my favorite places down there. They're
doing a contest for the best ribbon floor routine, which
I think is going.

Speaker 1 (22:49):
To be hilarious. The best what ribbon what like ribbon dancer?

Speaker 7 (22:53):
Yeah, the best ribbon floor routine, you know when you
like have that and you like do the ribbon in
the air.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
Yeah, I used to make my parents walk like my
eighth grade performance is in the living room to my
ribbon answer, Well, maybe we need to.

Speaker 7 (23:05):
Go down and watch your performance. Come back to life.

Speaker 2 (23:08):
Are they also if they're the Olympic Village, are they
also handing out the same amount of condoms that the
real Olympic Village is handing out?

Speaker 7 (23:18):
Well, Stanley friendly, So I don't feel see.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
That's okay, you can still practice safe sex. Do you
hear there's thousands and thousands of Olympic condoms that they're
handing out and all sorts of things at the village.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
Now that social media is so popular, all these athletes
have like a voice that people can hear outside of
Like their coverage is that great, And a lot of
them have said they are like are actually not staying
at the village and have gotten hotels because of the
living conditions at the village, which it's just crazy to me.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
I can't imagine some moanbiles not staying in a really
nice Airbnb. She's not saying at some dusty Olympic village,
one of the ten girls.

Speaker 7 (24:01):
For two bathrooms. So the tennis team has not has
all gotten a hotel. That's I saw it on Coco's page.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
So Coco Wow.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
I would think that some of the more well known
teams and athletes have better conditions than others, but I
guess they're all equal there in Tokyo.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
There's a guy from the I can't remember which country
we're in, Paris, Oh, yeah, you're in Sorry the I.

Speaker 2 (24:27):
Was gonna say, oh the there's an Olympic diver that
has an only fans page because his salary from being
a diver is like nothing, but he makes a ton
of money and only fans.

Speaker 7 (24:37):
I mean, everyone's kind of a second ear.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
So you know, all right, Aby from everything, since he
does all the research so that we don't have to.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
We just appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Girl.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
The best way to continue to stay up today is
at everything since he on Instagram. Coming up at nine
point forty, we'll do the daily debrief, running back to
the biggest thing I talked about on my show today,
