Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning. Huh kiss
one seven one, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
First of all, Billie Eilish is going to be in
Cincy on Friday at Heritage. How quickly we're just cruising
into November, just like that boom.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
I think tomorrow we're.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Going to talk about holiday decorating and whin's too early, etc.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
So if you want to get a jump on this conversation, we'll.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Do it now, maybe seven o'clock hour tomorrow, So shoot
me a message or talk back with Tiff. He got
about twenty four hours to get in on that action. Second,
thanks to your patients and such. I'm just coming back
from vacation. I was traveling in the Dominican Republic and
a few other places over the past week or.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
So, and now I'm back.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
I was traveling for someone in in my radio family
from back in Boston.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
He got married.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
He brought one hundred people to the Dominican And not
that I expect you to be up to date on
the iHeartRadio news, but while we were all on vacation
together in the pool with a Pina Colada, iHeart had
done a lot of layoffs, a lot of layoffs and
it's always really challenging because in the radio world thing,

(01:08):
you know, in the club, we all fam it's the
same thing in the radio world. And so some of
my good friends have lost their radio jobs and I'm
really really feeling for them this morning. And you know,
I say that to say too, because it's not just
it's not just radio. I mean, others are getting laid
off from their jobs left and right. Every Thursday. We
talked to Julie on the job. She's our show's career

(01:29):
mentor and expert. Maybe we do that tomorrow. We talked
to her, so we got our whole show lined up
for tomorrow. Holidays in the seven o'clock hour layoffs in
the eight o'clock hour, all right, let's talk about what
you're watching. While I was traveling, I had full rain
to Delta's TV and movie selections, and I had time
to really get in on some stuff. And by the way,

(01:50):
now that we're out of the election, who I'm tired.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
I'm done with the political ads.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
It's been like six weeks of NonStop And I would
like to say that I'm budget friendly and budget conscious,
So the streaming services that I do pay for pay
for the cheaper one that gives me ads because I
don't really mind commercials, but man, it's just been relentless
political ads.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Those are gone.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
So if you're looking for something to do now that
it's getting dark out four thirty five o'clock in the afternoon,
the sun starts going down.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
The Bengals aren't playing at home this weekend.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
The biggest gift you can give someone is to share
what it is that you're watching. So if you're looking
to disassociate, you need little break speaking of the election, etc.
I watched a movie called The fall Guy. It's got
Ryan Gosling in it. I think it's Emily Blunt, who's
married to John Krasinski. Is that Emily Blunt?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Really good? Funny, done really well.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
It's like cheesy and corny, but it's done really well,
kind of like how Twisters was highly recommend that. I
think that's going to be out on a streaming service.
If it isn't already. When you scroll past that, definitely
watch it. Second one I watched was a documentary called
twenty six point two.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
To Life, Dude. It was so good.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
It's about inmates in the San Bernardido prison system in California.
They're a part of the Thousand Mile Run Club and
they have a running group that comes in and runs
with them in the prison and they did a marathon.
Can you imagine how many laps it takes to achieve
a marathon in a prison yard? One hundred one hundred laps?

(03:23):
Very inspiring. It had me googling when I got off
the plane. You know what, something about our own prison
system and our own youth systems here in Cincinnati. If
you happen to know anyone that works for the Hamilton
County Youth Justice Center, would you do me a favor
and dm me shoot me a message. I have questions
and I have some ideas that I want to bring in.
Maybe by chance I could be speaking to no one

(03:45):
on that one. But that was a cool one, if
you have a chance to catch up on that.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
I loved that. It was about an hour or so.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Last thing I watched was called It's like the It's
called something about the young woman in the water, and
it's about the first woman.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Her name was true Rudy to run.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I'm sorry to swim the English Channel from France to England,
which is treacherous and grueling.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
And this was back in the day.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
So as she died recently in her nineties, I think
she lived to either.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I think she lived in ninety eight years old.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
She was the first woman to swim the English Channel
took her about fourteen hours, twenty two miles, and it
was treacherous and she did it and it was really
inspiring and really cool. So I recommend that one. Yeah,
I think there's one other thing I wanted to say,
but those are the three big ones that I watched.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Oh oh oh to this day.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
The parade that they had for her coming back after
she made that swim was the largest parade that's ever
happened in New York City.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Look at that.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
Not even the Yankees can pull it off, and they
definitely could it in this World series all right, coming up,
they do it every day.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
At nine forty, we're gonna talk about the Daily Debrieve.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
If you've ever had anything stolen from you while traveling,
we've been getting some of your stories from today.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
That's your chance to get in on that.

Speaker 2 (05:03):
Like I said at nine forty, best way to keep
listening and contributing is on iHeart Radio when you search
Kisuono seven one
