Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Jennet and j Rod's second date
update on kJ one O three. You gotta get Aarin
from Oka see another date with Chelsea. Thanks for coming
on to the second date update, Aaron, what's your story
of your first date with Chelsea?

Speaker 2 (00:13):
About two weeks ago?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I got set up with a girl, so so I
got her number and I called her, and you know,
I told her that I worked with her her brother's girlfriend,
and we should go out, and like she had been
told about it and everything. So she said yes, and
we went out to dinner, you know, to like get
to know each other and everything. Okay, I mean I
haven't I hadn't been out with anybody in a long time,
but I mean it seemed seemed really comfortable. I mean,

(00:37):
she was funny, she was attractive. I told her that,
you know, we should go out again, and she said
for me to call her, and she never called back.
She doesn't text me or anything. And I asked Ashley,
my coworker, I asked her, you know, like why she
didn't calling back, and uh, she said she didn't know,
but I'd have to ask her, which makes me you're coworking.

(01:00):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
I just don't want to be the bearer of the
bad news. That's how that works.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Okay, and you have no idea what could have gone wrong?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I have thought about the date multiple times and I
can't think of anything. So I really want to know
why she's blowing.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, we'll get Chelsea on the phone. We'll try to
figure out what happened. What you did wrong that you
don't know about is usually what ends up happening, and
see if we can't solve the second date update and
hopefully you get your second date. Okay, okay, all right,
we'll take a break, play a couple songs, and we'll
see what's up with her. For the second date update
kJ what three TJ Janet and Jay Rodd in the morning,

(01:37):
It's TJ Janet and Jay Rodd's second date update on
kJ one O three. Aaron from ok See can't seem
to get another date with Chelsea, even though at the
end of the day he said, Hey, I'd love to
go out again. She said, sure, call me, but doesn't
answer the phone, doesn't return his calls or anything like that. Chelsea,
are you not interested in going on with Aaron? What

(01:58):
happened on that date?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Okay? So we get at our table and the waiter
comes up and asked if we wanted to start with margarita,
and you know, I thought that sounded good, so I said,
I said sure, and then he immediately asked how much
a margarita is right after I ordered. I think she
said it was like seven or eight dollars, and then
Aaron said I'll just have a beer, and I just
thought he wanted a beer, so I didn't think anything
about it. Okay, Well, we ordered some chips and sauce

(02:23):
and talked for a while and I was having fun
and we were having good conversation and everything was good.
The waiter comes up and asked if either of us
was like another drink, and Aaron very quickly said no.
But I said I'll take another margarita and Aaron made
this big, loud sigh.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
I said that do the sigh. I need to know
the context of the side. Do the side for me.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
The very dramatic.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Why why why?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I mean, we had never really talked about like how
we felt about drinking, so I was thinking maybe he
was thinking I was drinking too much or something like that.
But when we started looking at the menu to pick
out what we're eating for dinner. He all of a sudden,
I kept hearing to say things under his breath, and
then finally he said, oh my god, everything is so
expensive here?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Where did we went to? Chili's? Are expensive at Chili's?
So like?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
I didn't think anybody would think it was extensive, but
he kept commenting about how extensive everything on the item
was so so now it dawns on me. He's complaining
that I'm drinking a margarita. Is he's driping about the
prices on the menu. He's a complete chea skap I was.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I couldn't believe it was so expensive at Chili's.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
I mean eight dollars for a margarita?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Really, then that's a horrible But.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Only did you give him my kid number and you
could as much money as they want?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Oh wow, this is exactly what I listened to.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
Yeah, I was complaining about the restaurant, but I wasn't
conclained about her.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
But it's rude when you take someone out to dinner
and then complain about prices on everything they order in.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Front of them.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Well, I mean, Chelsea, did you offer to pay for
your margaritas after? I mean, once you figured this out
did you offer to pay?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
At least I did.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I did when it came I offered to pay for
half of it, and he was taking out his wallet
and said, no, I got this. I guess I'll have
to check out a loan.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Look, it got fifty bucks in chili. I know that's all.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
You talked about. We got it.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Oh, listen, I'm with you, Aaron. I would never drink
an eight dollar Margarita's cheap. I guess we're safe to say, Chelsea,
there's not going to be another date with Aaron.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
We can eat off the McDonald's dollar Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Really, you're a dollar menu air. Well, this definitely isn't
going to work out. Chelsea. Thanks for sharing your story
and we appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Thank you all.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Okay bye, Chelsea. By Aaron. Are you shocked? I mean,
is this shocking to you?

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I'm pretty shocked. Okay, So I don't think I'll complain
it all that much. It was, but it was really
ridiculous if you haven't been on a date in two
years and then you go into a date thinking it's
gonna cost me thirty five bucks for a meal at
Chili's with a date, and it's fifty five sixty bucks.
All of a sudden, the prices have gone up. Maybe
that's your deal eron. Maybe you do need to just

(04:59):
you know, go online check a few menus before your
next date. All right, yeah, maybe stop at happy hour
before the restaurant to get a little better deal on
the liquor. You know what I'm saying. All Right, Aaron, Well,
good luck in the future with the dates and all
that stuff. Okay, man, all right, thank you very much.
All right, see you buddy.
