Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is t J Janaton j Rud's second date update
on kJ one O three. We got Brittany from Edmund
on the second date update. Hi Brittany, Hi Brittany. Hi.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
So basically I met Gabe about three or four months
ago at this party, you know, and then he asked
for my number there, but then he never called. So
I feel like after that I kind of was just like, okay, whatever,
and I mentally moved on. And then a couple of

(00:32):
weeks ago, she messaged to me and he was like, Hey,
I'm in your area. You want to go get some lunch?
And I was like, okay, you know, like I hadn't
heard from him in a while, but I was like, oh,
you know, I I do want to do that. I
had actually just eaten lunch, but I was like, I

(00:53):
think I could swing this, you know what I mean, You're.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Gonna be extra full just to spend some time with Gabe.
I thought it was good.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
It was, you know, just lunch, and I only had
an hour because I was at work, but I thought,
I mean enough of an impression that we would go
out again at least, you know. And then after that
I texted him a few times and he replies, but
it's just very blobl and you know obvious that he's

(01:23):
got into me, and I just I can't get him
to go out again.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Okay, so wow, so age old tail, isn't it? So
it took him four months to ask you out in
the first place. He doesn't see em an interested Now,
why why why are you putting yourself through this.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
For me?

Speaker 3 (01:42):
I'm just like, I just need to know why he
was into me enough to get my number at a
party and then four months, right, and he asked me
to lunch at the last minute, and then he blows
me off like it's just it's what's his deal?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Is playing? Okay, we're gonna get him on the phone
and we're going to ask him what's his deal? Okay, Brittany, Right,
it's TJ Janet and Jay Rides. Second date update on
kJ one three eight. How's it going, Gabe?

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Good? How are you doing today?

Speaker 1 (02:13):
We're good. Brittany from Edmund called us. You remember going
to lunch with her?

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (02:18):
Yes, I do.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Okay, all right, she hasn't heard from you since, and
she's trying to figure out why you don't seem to
be into going out. Yeah, what's the deal.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Well, it was, uh, everything seemed to be going great.
She was eating her side salad and I'm eating my
chicken sandwich. And it was a good date, great date.
I'm feeling the vibe. And then as we were talking,
she said that she wished earlier that she hadn't eaten
this terrible turkey sandwich. And then she confessed to me

(02:49):
that she stole a coworker's turkey sandwich. She said, it's
no big deal and that she does all the time,
and I'm not dating a food thief.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Oh okay, So the fact that she stole someone sandwiches,
why you're like, okay, hold on, game over. I'm not
I do not approve of someone stealing. You don't wait, Brittany.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
What canend myself here?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, Brittany's on the phone trying to jump in. What
do you want to say, Brittany.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Okay, I don't eat new food out of the fridge.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
You don't eat what new?

Speaker 4 (03:21):
What does that mean?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
You don't eat new food out of the fridge.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
Well, I only.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Eat the food if it's been there for a long time.
And it's obvious that the person who doesn't want it
or like the person he brought it, doesn't want it right?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Like, if it's kind of long, could that sandwich? How
long could that sandwich have been in there?

Speaker 3 (03:40):
I don't know, like a couple of days.

Speaker 4 (03:43):
I don't think long enough for you to eat it?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Okay, Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that there were rules.
How long does it need to be before I can
eat it?

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah? How long does food need to be in the
fridge before Gabe approves of you? Someone else that's eating it? Never?

Speaker 2 (04:01):
Yet?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Never?

Speaker 4 (04:02):
How about never? It's somebody else's food, you're stealing it.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Nobody's gonna eat it though?

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Did you ask if you could eat it?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
No?

Speaker 3 (04:10):
I don't even know who to ask. We have a
lot of employees, Like it was a sandwich.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
But it's still not I'm not okay with stealing food though.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Okay, So Brittany goes in the fridge, It's like, Okay,
no one's eating this sandwich all week. I'm gonna eat
the sandwich because I'm starving. This is your deal breaker, Gab,
you like, I am not going out with something. You
keep calling her food thief, stealing, food steal or whatever
you call her. That's your deal breaker to not go
on a second date.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah, being a food thief is pretty dishonest.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Well, it's literally a sandwich, Gabe.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
The worst problem you can adds.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Anybody who'd steal a sandwich from me would probably also
cheat on me, no problem.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Wow? Interesting?

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Oh wait wait wait I told somebody sandwich. That means I.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
Would cheat on you pretty much.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Okay, so Gabe, you're out, No last chance. We'll pay
for the date. No one steal anything. We'll pay for you. Guys,
go on again.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
She's gonna steal my leftovers.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
Okay, all right, Gab, we're gonna let you go. Thanks
for coming on the second dight up date. We appreciate you. Okay, bye.
He's kind of laughing at the end. I think he's
poking's fun at you there, Brittany.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Brittany, I kind of like it.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I think it makes you kind of sassy and adventurous.
What if was your sandwich, Janet? What if was your sandwich?
And you like, we're hungry.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's been in there a few days.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
I'm probably not eating it either, and it's gonna sit there.
And I'm guilty of this because I used to work
late nights at a radio station. You'll see all the
food sitting there, it's been there for days. You don't know,
I don't just eat it? What what, Brittany?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I feel like people people probably forgot about it. Like,
if anything, I'm doing a service by cleaning out before
it goes back and start feeling up the whole bridge.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah exactly, Well you're just the fridge cleaner. Well, Brittany,
Janet and j Rod would definitely go out with you again,
but Gabe was not into it, so sorry, we couldn't
get you another date.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Okay, Honestly, if somebody considers me a cheater for eating
a sandwich, I don't want.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
To go out. Thank you, Brittany.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
Okay, I'll move on and I'll leave somebody else's sandwich.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Oh stop eating sandwiches. Okay, by, But here's the question.
He said, anybody that would steal a sandwich would probably
cheat on me, meaning you know what your morals? Where
does it end? Does it end with just stealing food
or does it say, you know, we've been on one date.
That does no zero indication that you're gonna cheat on something? Well, again,

(06:47):
where does it end? You've been on one date? Are
you going to chance that you're right? It's just stealing
a sandwich. I'm sure it stops there or where does
it stop? I don't want to find out when I'm
you know, six months into this that too far a sandwich.
So dull, let's talk about this.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Tear me out on this one, y'all.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
So I've been with my boyfriend over.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Nine months, right, Okay, So I haven't been feeling great
because of my hashimotives disease that I have, And.

Speaker 4 (07:22):
He had ordered pizza and I.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
Was like, man, that sounds so good that I can't eat.
And I was like, Okay, well, I'll just eat it
in a couple of days. And then I like I
had mentioned it to him, Okay, I can't eat it
right now, sure, but I.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Might try and eat it in a couple of days.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
And then I see him.

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Snacking on it while he's video gaming. That that would
hurt me a little bit.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
Now do I think he would cheat on me?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
No?

Speaker 4 (07:51):
I just think that he is a forgetful man.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Well, you know, sometimes we forget we're in relationships. Yeah. Yeah,
if I forget that that pizza was yours, maybe I'll
forget that you were mine and next thing, you know,
next thing, you know, when I'm making out with some
girl on video gaming. You know, see how you're right.
That's how it starts. Relationships go for gamer, it starts

(08:16):
with food thieving. Okay, good talk, Bye Taylor,
