Speaker 3 (00:08):

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I was like caller number twenty and then you said
the email. Now, I can't give me flash back.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
I can't do the I can't do the calling stuff.
It's just it's got to be email. Fred at WSPD
dot com. Fred at WSPD dot In fact, I just
got a tuckback feature, man, Fred. It's probably too late now,
but I missed your email. It's Fred at w SPD

(00:37):
dot com. Got two four packs that I can give away.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Now.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
That would be a nice celebration, But we're kind of
celebrating on our own on a wee trod because the
stocks up again yesterday.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
All three indices saw rises.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
In fact, the S and P five hundred got very,
very close to the high that it's set some months back.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So what are we looking at this morning?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
And keep in mind two months ago we were down
about twenty percent in the S five hundred, didn't close
it that day, but boy, it's bounced off.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Then. We've had a great May. But the Dow finished up.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Two hundred and fourteen points, which is a little over
a half percent. Here's the S and P five hundred
up thirty four points, that's point five to eight percent
of a percent, and the Nasdaq up one hundred and
fifty six, which is point eight one of a percent.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Now, let me give you we haven't said this in
a while.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Year to date, we are the third day today is
the fourth of June. The Dow is down point zero six.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
So that's pretty flat.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
P is up though, one point five to one year
to date, and the Nasdaq is up point four to
six year to date.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
All Right, those are good sign So we bounced.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
A long way back when we were hearing April was
like the worst month on what they thought it was
going to be the worst month since a great depression,
which it ended up not being. Again, we always hear
this negative, negative talk, and that leads me right into
what caused this up. Well, there's more advertising for more
job openings, and I've.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
Also read in articles to where they've said, okay, they
beat us up about oh my gosh, these tariffs are
gonna throw us into all kinds of bad things are
going to happen yep, or reports have suggested it's only
moderately hit us so far. Okay, so I think there's
been a lot of hype.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
We always have to look at the numbers and when
the when the.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Rubber meets the road, that's what we really have to
look at instead of stop getting what we always talk about.
Brad emotional about it.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Well, but that's what the market is. The market is emotional.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
Yeah, you know, they're they're looking at They're not operating
on what's going on right now. They're operating on you know,
what's going to happen in six months.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Mm hmmm hmm. And one of our winners we had
we get it up here, Dollar Tree or no Dollar General,
came out yesterday and smacked it out.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Of the ballpark.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
There they were up fifteen point eight five percent were
in the pre market they're up and that was even
and the reason why I had to stop there for
a minute. Dollar Tree just came out this morning.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
We okaya ones winning.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Well it's not Dollar Tree. They came out and missed
on their revenue and.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Pre market they're down about three and a.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Half right now. But that's interesting where people are shopping
and well, yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I mean they're trying to save some money, you know,
if you're going to buy, because you can buy a
tissue paper and laundry detergent, and personal healthcare items and
the toilet trees and things like that at a Dollar
General or a dollar Tree and save yourself quite a
bit of money.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
I think you can, boy that dollars really out the
window when you go there too. They're not selling things
for a dollar anymore. But it's just interesting. Yes, you
can go there to get things at at a more
of a discount or more favorable price.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
So all right, cool losers yesterday?

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Anybody other than the dollar Tree that came through the day,
And what did the report say?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Did?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
We got a couple of reports yesterday, I thought, and
what are we looking at today?

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Well, some of the losers that we came out, We saw.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Ken View Energy which is down.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Six point one seven, Kroger was down one point six y.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Four, Archer Daniel Midland was down one point seven percent,
and well Tower was down one.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Point ninety five percent.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
But again we had yesterday, we had the job openings
came out better and expected. But today we have the ADP,
so you know, payroll report ADP employment reports coming out.
They're expecting it to be up from where it was
last month. And then we also have some service numbers
that we're going to be watching.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Well that's I mean, there's some really good news in there,
isn't there.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
I'm hoping it's going to be good news coming in there.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yes, for a week ro Wednesday we had so what's happening,
What's happening overseas?

Speaker 3 (04:54):
How has Europe been? An Asia responding to all of this?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Well, everything was coming across Green which was.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Making my day again. We had the foot set up
fourteen the day acts up one hundred and forty two.
Asian market with a n e K at three hundred.
The Shanghai was up sixteen point seventy three, which is
point four to three hundred percent, and Hanksing is up
one hundred and forty one, which.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Is point six OUs.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
So across the indices around the world it seemed to
be pretty good.
