Also standing by on the other sideof the line, Tim Wiechrow from Whetro
Wealth Management, who you can reacha little bit later on this morning at
four one nine eight two, fourthirty three hundred ladder. Every morning,

(00:23):
whether it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, all I have
to do is look at the clock, see that it's six thirty seven and
no that it's time for Retro WealthManagements. Overriding owner and big boss with
the big suspenders. Tim Wheetrow, how are you this morning there, mister
Wheetro. How are those big suspendersof yours holding the pants up? There?

(00:49):
You go? I saw you didanother video on your Facebook page last
week. Looks pretty good. You'regetting pretty comfortable in front of the camera,
aren't you. I don't know aboutthat, Fred, But no,
no, they're getting they're getting better. They're getting a lot better. So
let's take a look at last week. We had our second straight losing week,

(01:11):
but still that's like out of nineteenweeks or something like that. Funny,
and we gave back some of thegains that we had from earlier in
the week. So give me therundown. What happened and why well,
we had some consumer sediment that saysthat people aren't as confident and even though
they think inflation is going to comedown, but even though it popped up

(01:32):
just the hair, I think inreality we all know it's inflation's hitting everyone.
So the Fed's gonna speak this week. Do you think they're going to
cut? No, they're not goingto cut. I we guess they're not
going to cut. We'll probably haveto see till about June if anything like
that's gonna happen. But you can'tcut rates if inflation is going to creep

(01:53):
up. And the Dow, yes, they've all been all these three indascies
have been on run. But theDow finished Friday down one hundred and nine,
Almos one hundred ninety one points, which a half percent, s and
P five hundred off thirty three points, which is point sixty five percent,
and the NASDAK off one hundred andfifty five, which is almost a full
percent. That brought us down forthe week. The Dow last week they

(02:14):
flat, I would say, butit's negative point zero two, Nazak point
negative point seventy, and the SPfive hundred negative point one to three,
So not so bad but I thoughtwe were gonna have a winning week.
But boy, information comes out andmarket moves the other way. But but
you gotta remember tech was leading theway. It was really pulling, and

(02:36):
you're starting to get some pullbacks.Adobe came out slump thirteen point seven percent
after giving their week revenue forecast.Microsoft fell two point one, Broadcom lost
two point one, meta Facebook fellone point six. Google also came down.

(02:57):
See the tech is pulling the way, and I think I'm ringing suit
some mark because I'm avoided any itmakes it something. Nothing went up,
and that's not true. We hadas we know, the I'll get to
the barrel of oil. It's eightytwo bucks now. So Balaal was up
two point seven, Marathon was uptwo point five seven. Somebody took advantage.

(03:19):
Yeah yeah, General Motors was upthree point three three percent. So
all right, we have lots ofthings going on. Yeah, there are,
and you just gotta you just gottadig through. And that's all.
You can't say, you can't relyon your emotions, although that seems to
be what the what the market usuallydoes, it relies on emotion. So
those reports that came out last weekand then it does look like we are

(03:40):
getting, uh near the end ofthe earning season, right, we're almost
finished with the report to do weare we still waiting for some big names
yet this week. Yeah, we'regetting towards the end. You're getting you're
getting names. But these are companiesthat most of us haven't heard of.
Yeah, there's a few coming out. I think we got one coming out.

(04:03):
I don't know if it's General Millsor I'll check on Wednesday a name
that we know of that is comingout. So, but I'll bring you
up today on that. All right, So, and are there any now
Wednesday? This Wednesday is the FEDmeeting, Right, He's going to come
out and say if he's going toraise rates or not. Yep, Okay,

(04:25):
So all eyes right now are towardsWednesday, and I'm guessing that today
people will probably be just all right, let's hold off. We'll see what
happens unless there's some big news fromsomeplace else. The TikTok thing seems to
be getting legs. The former presidentover the weekend said he doesn't want to

(04:46):
see it banned. He's afraid ifthey ban TikTok, everybody will go to
Facebook. And he hates Facebook morethan he hates TikTok, although when he
was running for president he hated TikTokand actually said when I get elected,
I'm gonna ban TikTok on my firstday. And then somewhere along the line
that kind of changed and now hedoesn't even want to ban it. So

(05:10):
we'll see what happens. Yeah, they've let the cat out of the bag.
Yeah, I talked about this. You know, you can't shut it
down now. I mean, Iunderstand trying is involved, but you have
to do something, but I don'tthink you can shut it down. No,
Well, we'll watch that. We'llwatch that fight for a while,
and we'll talk to you again tomorrowmorning at around six thirty five. If
