Speaker 1 (00:00):
How are you, mister Wheetrow Bradam fantastic. It's Friday, Happy Friday,
Thank you. Good things are happening. Good things are happening.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Drop Sure looks like it. US stocks recover nearly all
of their twenty percent springtime dropped. The headline says, so
we must have got good reports yesterday, or at least
reports that didn't send the market tumbling, and we must
have hastling Raby mess had some pretty good numbers. Let's
hear the facts and figures.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
We have had some pretty good numbers. The DAT was
up four hundred and four points, which is point ninety
four percent, the SP five hundred and forty eight point
eighty six, which is zero point eighty of a percent,
and the NASZAK up one hundred and ninety four text
running point ninety seven, so almost a percent on the Nasdaq.
And yeah, we had those two weeks up negative, but
we're going to come out of that, Hopefully. Futures are

(00:53):
pushing up. Hopefully we'll hold that for today and all
indices should be up for the week if we hold
where we're at right now. We had we had some
earnings coming out yesterday. McCormick's jump five point three percent.
That kind of like pulled things along, and you know,
and that's a spice company, so I like to see
that it's not just tech. But in the video, I
reared its head and said, hey, I'm here, added a

(01:15):
half percent. Super micro Computer did the same thing and
they rose five point seven percent, So I thought that
was interesting. And then we had Nike coming out after
the bell yesterday. They finished the day yesterday at sixty
two fifty sixty two dollars four cents per share. That's
two point eight They were up excuse me, a dollars

(01:36):
seventy one, that's two point eight one percent. But the
pre markets, when I'm trying to get to here, the
pre market, they're sitting at nine point five zero percent up,
and Nike's been having a hard time selling their shoes
and getting moving again. But it's good to see their
earnings that beat on both sides of revenue and simated
price per sere So we'll see how they end the day.

(01:56):
But yeah, it's been interesting. We had some news come
out out yesterday which also helped the market. We had
the durable good orders that's like washing machines, things like that.
Last month, it was minus six point six. They were
expecting a positive six point five. Eight came in at
sixteen point four. Whoa, people are spending some money.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Well did they go out and hardly? Because they were
worried about the tariffs? Is that why they bought so
many of those things.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
That could be that could be pending home sales? I said,
we were going to watch that one last month, negative
six point three. They were expecting a negative half percent.
It came in at a positive one point eight. Good,
but one thing had popped up. GDP's second revision the
worse than they expected. You know, it started at minus

(02:49):
point two. They're expecting a positive point two. Came in
at minus point five. So it turned out to be
a little worse than they thought. But again, I think
things are heading in the right direction, so we'll take
a peak. But it sounds like they are.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
It sounds like we're moving in the right way at least,
I mean with these reports. And now is there going
to be a report today also? Or are we done
with reports for the week?

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Oh no, today, it's another big day. At eight thirty, Fred,
we have personal income, personal spending percentages. We have the
PCE index. That's favorite measurement of inflation. So we're going
to see, if you know, if we're coming a little hot.
If not, we're going to see where that is and
that that should be interesting where we're at today.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Okay, all right, so that'll be an important when you
said that one's coming down at eight thirty this.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
Morning, eight thirty, all those reports come out. But I
want to add one more thing, a personal thing here.
I went to the Core report last night from Ronald
McDonald and great event. We didn't win the Pathy Boat
and Thread, but I believe I won and I'm holding
it in my hands. I don't believe, but apparently I'm

(03:58):
going to run the full marathon and September because I
just won an entry to it. You can win an entry,
better get out. They gave me a Yeah, I got
an entry to run, So I guess I'm gonna have
to run twenty six point two miles in September.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Oh, I had no idea you could do that.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
That's awesome. Well they told my number and I said,
that's mine. I guess I'm running it.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
Well, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
You better get in shape then you're gonna have to
do some running this weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Well, I do it every weekend, bred, so we'll keep going.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
All right, Well, good luck, but neither of us got
the PAPP people. No man, I was really hoping for
a late night phone call on that one.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Me too.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I guess I'll have to go out and get to
buy it myself, I suppose.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
All right.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
So overseas, how are we looking overseas?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Before I let you go overseas market we had? The
Asian market was up the day before, but today the
knee kate bounce back again. They're at five hundred and
sixty six points, which is one point four or three
hangs sayings down forty one, the China Index down twenty
four points, European forty six points. It puts the up

(05:07):
thirty seven. The German index dacks up one hundred and
forty five with zero point sixty two percent.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
All right, cool, thanks you all right, appreciate it. Have
a great weekend. We will talk to you on Monday, COURSA.
Next week, there's going to be a short work week.
