Speaker 1 (00:04):
H m hmm. Psyche the publify and did not the

(00:25):
end put up a deep way and broadcasting line from
Rocket Mortgage field House all the sunny shores of beautiful
Lake Erie. Yeah, draw the double back, he goes lailor

(00:45):
trap on the gallery, one of those on the run,
it stops. It's long love fires in downtown. You've done
into Wine and Gold Radio. Now you're here, host and

(01:12):
Joe gi Hey, everybody, welcome to Wine and Gold Radio Energy.
See it to my media. Right as always, Brito who
told me about rolling my eyes last week, and I
hope I did it right, always nourished, right, I do?
What did I do? Okay, I'm working at it. Uh. Welcome,

(01:35):
I guess to a trade deadline special. Even though the
trade deadline is not yet we haven't reached it. We
cats made a massive trade. That man could change things really,
And that's another thing that we haven't been mentioned, the
fact that he just got ahead of everybody and say,
you know, we want We're not gonna wait for I
like that, don't you. Of course you know, I don't
know what the pacers are going to look like when

(01:57):
we get there on Thursday. On Friday. Yeah, and I
also by the same token. I also think like the
carous LeVert to Cleveland has been like the worst kept
secret of all that I've been hearing carous LeVert to
Cleveland all year. How is that? I mean, I guess
so we've had I'm sure the fraud is happy he's
getting his three years when they back exactly, and I
know JB is happy because you get another weapon on

(02:20):
the of the bench or starting on something that for
him to figure it out, and the fans are excited. Exactly.
And again Columbus native from the you know, right around
from the Ohio state. The greatest university in the country
is you know, Michigan Graduate Police. That's how good make
hard decision they happen a lot of kids make. And

(02:40):
I'm sure that's that's the same thing in English, but
there's in Spanishes are saying that any three that grows
like you know, bent never never straightens up. I don't
know what the loose translation of that. It is any
three that is born bent bend like not bent, but
like tilty, you know, you know, not three is usually
when you plant them. Yeah, so any three that is

(03:02):
born like that, that he is raised like that, never
you're never able to straighten him out. And Carrie's lever
has gone against that because he was born around that
school around and went to Michigan University or the University
of Michigan, whichever where you want to call it. He
played with the Wolverines, he did he did his media
availability and seemed like a great kid, of course, and

(03:24):
I've talked to other writers and they said that you're
gonna love this kid. Just the fact that Kobe Altman,
a president of basketball operations, wren out there and did
whatever he could to get him. I'm pretty sure did
They did the due diligence trying to figure out whether
or not this guy fits in exactly as as as
a human peace to what we have going on right now. Yeah,
because we've talked about chemistry as being you can't break it. Yeah,

(03:49):
because that's been almost the strong suit for this team.
I mean, there's talent, but chemistry has been the big thing.
And what a great week. I mean, learning how to
win in different ways, to win and fun with and
one way is to win. I mean Steven Holiday Corondo

(04:14):
Jetty two years party that was that behind the back pass,
Behind the back past, there was a fourth quarter. Incredible, right, incredible,
And and before that maybe the Crabbes came of the year.

(04:35):
The first recorders were ugly, ugly, you know what he
wants to We weren't playing bad, it's just as sometimes
the ball doesn't like to go in sure. I mean,
we've missed the first eight shots that night. Yeah, mobily
missed an ali ou tonk just seventy of the on
the of the field shot and that's a bad night

(04:57):
for the frow. And then Engaged Jetty was what over seven,
one for eight in the first half, and then we
hit eight. We hit the same amount of triples in
the fourth quarter that Indiana hit the whole game. Engage
Jetty beat the Pacers by himself in the fourth quarter
eighteen to seventeen. Wow, And I I yeah, and first
the biggest quarter since Lebron twenty eighteen. And I was

(05:18):
sitting next to Shaffer at the game. I said, you know,
things were kind of slugging along. It was kind of
an ugly game, and we didn't feel out of the game.
I didn feel out of it. But I go to
the fourth quarter, I said the Shaffer, I said, you
know what this game needs. This game needs Engaged Jetty.
It is true sometimes when we talked about that, sometimes
you need Jetty just go in there and just turn

(05:39):
everything upside down and go nuts. And sometimes it doesn't work,
and sometimes it does. And you saw it work. The
bench score more points on the starters. Kevin and Jetty engaged.
They had an engaged nineteen oh run between the tour
and to start the fourth quarter and they look. I
had Kevin in the post game and I told him
about it and he loved. He loved the bit of
engaged Kevin. Who's having more fun than Kevin Love right now? Me,

(06:06):
I gotta believe this is the most funny. I think
he's having more fun than during those championship Here he's
having Actually, sources close to the calf tell me, yeah,
he's having more Kevin. Consecutivos, Jerry had a nine run

(06:42):
and then Kevin has as his own five or run,
and then they had another five point between the two
of them, and he's just Camelan sounds better like barbarism. Dude,
You're you're taking it to a new level this year.
Really it's good man, But this year, this is what
I want to get going. And I know, I know
we have some followers and some listeners that are trying
to help me. Dim Wade had already approved the dem

(07:05):
wolf pack, and we're trying to get Adam hinds if
you listen to anybody that knows the Adam Hind or
anybody that knows anybody at the field House, we need
to get that dim wolf howl. I know I have
tried a little my broadcast to get it going. Psycoc
rim Lander double if Irondo, Rondo Threado trying Tickni, says

(07:46):
Marcador Tam Wolf. I love the Wold the best man
that I want to get here again, double if Rondo
gay sad. And if we lose, we're done only eight

(08:23):
that's how That's how much I thought we were in
the game. You know that was that was in the
first half after the All Star break. We gotta get
at him. We gotta drag Adam Hind's ass down here
and get him. Sure, do I complain this Toronto is
called any much man, I gotta saying, Canada, that's like
gear pipes warmed up man. Kevin Pangos already approved it. Hey,

(08:48):
you want to bring in the Golden Let's get well,
let's welcome in. He's been last week. He was. I
think he was in the mountains of p A with
his kids. He was with his little coon skin snow
with deliverance and his that's kid making some moonshine. Welcome
in the Golden Boy for a little news around the league, man,
speaking of the Raptors coming here in the march rope.

(09:08):
It's a national Tellbus game, that one. It's on ESPN.
So yeah, man, I think the league is cant embarrassed
that they didn't. That that might be that might work
against me. We got millions of people will see you.
But what they'll play that and I'll sing it over.
That's what I did. That's the band I play and
I just sang over and I did. I did at

(09:29):
least like saying, okay that I my broadcast. We got
a few other Canadians, you know, on on the on
the you know if you have Canadians in your computer team, Yeah,
Georgia team, Dave Freeman and you mentioned you mentioned pangs
are George Georgia. Georgia is yeah, Canadian. Yeah, you know
anything Toronto related posers? Yeah, what do you got? Man?

(09:52):
So it's like, of course, how how it usually happens,
Like you could dig into the NBA and you know,
talking about the Sun's playing well or the Nets struggle
the whole Ben Simmons, Sager or whatever. But it's like,
you know, it's you know, you're looking for stories, and
stories just end up writing themselves on the two days
before the trade deadline. So let's hear it. What do
we got? Two big ones today reported anyway, Pelicans getting CJ. Mccoum,

(10:15):
Larry Nance Jr. Our old friend, and Tony Snell from
Portland who was getting Josh Harten Nikkil, Alexander Walker, others
and picks. So there was the junior is going to
New Orleans. Yes, I'm back to going back to work
with griff with No he wasn't here anymore. So wow,
that's that's kind of a big deal. But I don't

(10:36):
I don't understand that trade. I'm with you. I agree,
I don't get how that does much for either team
moving pieces around you know, well, I mean built around
Lillard now, I guess, But but does he want to
be built around now or what's his thing going to be?
And the whole trade that they made was it last

(10:56):
week and week and a half ago with the Clippers. Yeah,
Norman Powell send for me times more like they're empty,
and I guess they're gonna reload definitely. I mean again,
if you're Damian Lillard, do you want to be around
for that? You know, even if you are, it's already
felt like a reload this whole time, Even if you
reload with like three agents that it's still you gotta

(11:17):
re you know, talk about chemistry and that you know
again what we we we talked about the championship hereod
you know, I mean, you know how many things have
to go right for you to win a championship? How
long that is, and how many like little you can
control right forget about the thing that that has nothing
to do with what you do or do not do
right right? Yeah, I mean again, that's a long, long

(11:39):
road and they haven't gotten even close. So I don't
know what I'm more in trigued by the second one.
You've got polish you're gonna have, yeah, the same one
in bigger, bigger names being you know, being being traded,
but um, the Pacers getting terres Haliburton, buddy healed and
again another one of our old friends, Tristan Thompson from Sacramento,
who is getting Demonto Sibona's Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday

(12:02):
in seven second round picks. For so long they talked
about getting rid of Mouse before Demanto Sabon and they
have claiming to be like untouchable, right, they were going
to build around him. I wouldn't. I mean, I don't
understand why you trade Sabonis, you know, like that one.
I don't get that's a that's a cornerstone kind of guy.
I mean, I I and I like Haliburton and everything, like,

(12:23):
I don't player, but I don't understand why the Kings
moved Haliburton. That's what means. Like that, that seems like
a trademarker. Think about the painting Sacramento with with Sabornes,
Bagley and Holmes, like who's in the perimeter because you
got rid of about heel too. It was like Fox,

(12:45):
who's a bald Dominan? Right? Yeah, but I guess you
couldn't play those together. But I would have thought dear
in Facts would have gone before Haliburton, Right, Haliburton and
Sabonis seems kind of fun. It seems like it could
be fun. It's yeah, that's not happening. The commissioner aimed
the final star replacements, the replacements for both for both conferences,

(13:05):
and our good friend the throw did not make it. Yeah,
are we upset about that he's played like an All Star?
He has and upset? Yeah, ahead, go ahead, Well I
was gonna say, I mean, you know, why not why
not throw? Why not throws a bone? You know, we're
the host city, give us another All Star? And you know,
it's hard to criticize because it's only twelve guys that

(13:26):
make it, right, And the thing is the John Tomorrow
deserves to be in Yes, despite thing. Yeah, obviously winning
is not a matter of thing here. But I have
an issue with the whole selection procedure, of of voting,
of players being available in the ballot that I have

(13:46):
not even played. You know, a handful of games guys
that are its recognition. I know, I understand this money
behind it, you know, so guys who have to be
available because there's Monday's bonuses and everything. But but Jared Allen,
independently of the fact that we're playing in Cleveland, I
think when you look at what he has done, and

(14:09):
this is no longer a popularity contest like the like
the starters is. You know, this is now the way
that the second squad is chosen by the coaches, which
is by merrit right, by who they think has done it.
And when you when you put together what Blondes of
Ball has done and what is meant to the Charlotte Hornets,

(14:32):
who were supposed to be a little better than they
are right now two next to what Jared Allen has
meant and done for the Cavalier, it's hard to accept
it without So I mean, what are you what are
you saying? What are you saying little Millo ball does
deserve it? No, I'm saying that I would have put
Alan in front. But say, my my thing is Charlotte

(14:55):
is having a pretty good season. And are they well
I mean and they weren't in the Plane Tournament last
year or no, well they're they're in there early in
and now still either way in my head of mouse bridges,
and I think that's exactly My point is that you
don't want to snub both of them. You don't want
to give that team zero representatives. The Calves have a representative.

(15:17):
I think it was probably close, and they it was
not baseball that every team has to have one guy.
I understand, but so make it, make it a rule
that you gotta have somebody from every team. But you can't.
I know, so you can't. That's my that that is
my point. But I think instead of snubbing both guys,
because then then you're giving the middle finger to Charlotte.
But neither one of you guys were taking two guys

(15:38):
from Cleveland. What's wrong with that? If they from Cleveland
has actually improved, I mean, generality is averaging better numbers
on almost every category across the board from his. But again,
like and and and if you want to ask me,
that game that we just play in Charlotte was mellow
ball in the game in the decided moments. I understand

(16:00):
all your points, and I agree with him, But what
I'm saying is, do you understand what I'm saying. You
have two potential All Stars and Sharp and if you
snub both of them, like I said, you're kind of
flipping off. What I'm saying is the commissioner is taking
a bullet for whoever he was in charge of doing
that making that selection, because at the end of the day,
you're gonna that snub in somebody, right, And you know what,

(16:22):
maybe it's good that he snubbed because look how piston
he was the first time he has average, he's average
just twenty rebounds, and then in the two games post
his first knob. That's what I mean making see what
we're gonna say, he's gonna have a boulder in his shoulders. No,
not a chip, He's gonna have like a big chunk
of something in his shoulder because he knows. But I know,

(16:44):
obviously I haven't spoken with Jared. I'm not speaking for him,
but knowing the kind of human he is and what
he has shown us and the way the Cavaliers have
actually put team first, I'm pretty sure he's now we'd
be more satisfied. We'll getting an m v P on
a serious coming up in the playoffs, then then getting right.
That's what I'm saying here. You know, at this point

(17:05):
the individual is great, but I don't know money wise
what he means to him. In the concert that he signed,
he's still gonna get a hund a million and the
next I'm sure he's happy about that. Everybody touched that right,
And of course we play the Spurs on what is
this tomorrow? On Wednesday. The Spurs have a replacement player

(17:26):
who here he goes put it in. So I don't
know regardless of but I like and I think he
deserves it. So I'm glad he you know, he's getting in. Yeah,
and I think, like I said Jared Allen, hey, if
it makes him mad, look how good he's been the
first time he was mad. You know, at this point,
if you were Jared Allen, which you just still need
like five more inches and Jared Allen, would you take

(17:50):
they invite? Would you be happy with they invite? Kind
of like being invited with somebody else just happened to ye,
I'm different, man, What would you say? I don't know. Hey,
it doesn't mean any shoving at him, so it doesn't
mean any bonus. Well I will say, yeah, okay, name man.
What are you talking about for the All Star Game?
If els? So now they say you can play at
the three freaking Snobs, Yeah, man, I play. You're nuts? Yeah,

(18:13):
I think you do. Anyway, especially in Cleveland. Don't be
so prideful. We got we got another We got enough enough.
I don't know, can you have enough as representation, but
you've got more representation at least on our young tie.
Everybody weren't that we were we expected to go. Yeah,
I believe that Saturday Night. Can you know that team,

(18:35):
the Barry team. I would play that team in the
NBA right now. That's what I mean. Team Barry will
wipe those other teams. Barry. I like that team and like,
how do those guys were there when all the drafting
was going on? Is incredible. But I'll take that team
o co and I kind of wanted to. I kind
of wanted to see Corl challenge. We'll be at the

(18:57):
rim though. But I mean that, like, that team is
gonna play defense. They're gonna do something that no one's
seen in those rookie games. They're gonna play the defense.
And the fact that the fifties and going I say
they played it. They played with target scores, not times.
It's not times. It's like I like that. Yeah, they
played to fifty and the winners played It could be fun, man,
it's going to be fun. I'm definitely going to that

(19:18):
one because that's gonna be basketball being played. The other
is a show, which is still great, you know, but
but I like, I like and I wish they played
with the team uniforms like they used to do. What
about the celebrity game who's gonna be in that one?
Not meant to want to. I want to organize. I
want to organize. Probably too late for the media game.
I no, I want to. You're talking a non celebrity

(19:40):
game like the other guys that that like not playing
that everybody that non celebrity game. Well by you and
Alpero and so that's what. But that's my good idea
media game, media game. It be kind of cool. Yeah, yeah,
too late to incorporative, but it's an idea that we
can give it, you know. And I'm gonna dunk on Marla.
The super Bowl. The we after each super Bowl, we

(20:04):
played the course. After the US opened, they let us
play in the media play the course. The next day
US openly play. They'd never let me out that both.
Matt Gold, Hey, thanks for stopping. Hang, can I change
the subject maybe? You know, especially Gold's got moonshine to make.

(20:26):
He's a bathtub. Winter Olympics right, going on? Yes, what
are they? What's point would you play? Would you would
you participate on? If I was in Winter Olympics that
ski jump the long ski jump? Really yeah, ski jump.
I wouldn't want to have like the agony of defeat.
Where it anyway? You know? Or speed skating. I love

(20:48):
spi skating. What was the Dan Jansen the one he did?
That's pretty cool? Practice short practice cool, that's pretty cool. Yeah,
I will do that. What about you? Um, I don't know.
I'm snowboarder, so maybe like maybe like a little snowboard
crosses him. I can't do like flips and stuff, but
like you can snowboard. Yeah, it's impressive. See, young guy,

(21:10):
you never can. I've never been. I've never skied. I've
never skied, never skied, never snowboarded. I have ski and
you haven't never been on a horse. Wow, I know,
hard to believe. Coming from Garfield, Lights, Infeld, Corn through
Cloth mac Old, thanks for joining us. Hey, we'll be
back with segment to our special guest or Brad Doughty,

(22:42):
by a g Prisads. Speaking of not winning in a
city in a long time, the next stop for the
Cavaliers is Miami, Florida. They're right FREEO. We owe them
a lot. We'll wear everybody a lot. Just next told
the list Tad Carper here, chief communications officer for the Cavaliers.

(23:12):
Let me be very clear about this. There's a couple
of things I will never do. Crawl inside a volcano,
swim in a pool full of cornas either raw tarantula,
or listen to Wine and Gold Radio. I'm not gonna happen.
Now back to Wine and Gold Radio. Oh my goodness,

(23:34):
you better buckle up on a car. Robbert, you've had
some great calls this year. You've had some great calls,
John's calls, Tim's had some great calls, and none of
you guys. If it calls like that, Brad Doherty, you
have the call of the here, welcome to Wine and
Gold Radio, CALVS Legend Brad Puddy, Brad, thank you so

(23:56):
much for joining us. Man. Hey yeah, man, thanks thanks
for guys for add me home and this is awesome.
Uh looking forward to going on down the road. You
got a shooting guard in the house now, so that
time man, cats getting ready to rumble. How how how
do you remember trading deadlines? Brad? I mean, I mean
you guys were you were part of a team in

(24:16):
that being compared to what the Cavaliers are leaving right
now in terms of talent, in terms of excitement. But
can you can you talk to us about what what
trading deadline means to players, especially when when they're active. Yeah,
it's it's it's it's a tough time. You know, as
a player, obviously you want to be on a team.
It's gonna have a chance to win when you play

(24:36):
for a championship, get better. But you know there's camaraderie
that's built by being teammates from training camp and so
the trading deadline rolls around. I remember those days and
you don't know what's gonna happen. You hear all the
rumors and all the all the innu window and stuff
like that. You wonder if after trading deadline you're gonna

(24:57):
be a better team. Are you gonna be the same
team getting better. You just wonder those things and then
it comes and goes, and uh, if you lose a
teammate that moves on, you hope they get in a
better situation. And uh, it's not easy, it's not it's
not a raw, raw moment because you hate to lose
a friend and a teammate, But you gotta look at

(25:18):
the down the road in the future and if it's
gonna make you better, and you're realistic with yourself, you're
pretty excited about about what the future holds. Somebody just
brought up in Carress media availability just now about Larry
Nance and how that that trade changed the complexion of
your team, and how do you see the addition of

(25:38):
careros Lavery changing this team and a team that prides
itself on chemistry. Yeah, I mean, you're exactly right. Larry
changed our whole dynamic, and then we changed it again
when we got rid of Ron Harper's that we changed
it and changed it back. Uh No, but I think
you know, and spending time with Kobe this year and
talking talking basketball. And I have several friends throughout the

(26:01):
league who or GMS and UH talk to him quite
a bit, and several coaches who are friends and we
talk about basketball. And you know, I'm telling you our
basketball teams on the tip of everyone's tongue. Um. And
as you start looking, as we were going throughout the season,
you know you like the pieces, you know when you
know when you had Sexton and Rubio, I mean you

(26:22):
have that's almost fifty points. So the thing that I saw,
and I told Kobe this early on, the thing I
see what our basketball team is. It's gonna it's gonna
be tough some nights for us to score, you know,
the the quantity of threes that we may need to
win a game or two. But we're an excellent defensive team,
so it balances itself well. When Colin gets hurt, you

(26:44):
take that twenty somehow points out, you take Ricky's fifteen
points away. Now we've got to struggle because you know,
at the at the two position, I love Isaac Accorro
as a as a defender. I love what Lamar brings in.
Those two guys give us a hard nosed toughness that

(27:04):
we need on this basketball team. Uh And with Colin
and Ricky, those guys fit very well. And what we do.
You don't have to have that guy who's a great
shooter so to speak, that's getting up twelve thirteen threes
just for status quo. We got that throughout our offense.
We lose Colin, we lose Ricky. Now there's a glaring
gap in our game offensively. I think Kevin Love has

(27:28):
done an unbelievable job coming in off the bench filling
in that gap most nights. But what Carrious brings to
us now is someone who's a dynamic ball handler that
who had. When he has the basketball, you cannot step
away from it defensively because he can score it. So
now as we start to put the pieces to this

(27:49):
puzzle together, you know I I think it's incredible. We
get we get we get everyone healthy. That's a big thing.
Get marketing back healthy, get back to building on this foundation.
And I'm telling you, no one's gonna want to play
the Cavaliers. It may not be everything we needed to
be this year. I think we gotta temper those expectations

(28:11):
because of our injuries in the youth of our basketball team.
But I'm telling you what Kobe Altman has put together
is unbelievable. And I'm telling you I talked to Frank Bogel.
I talked a lot of people in this league, a
lot of gms, and people do not want to play
our basketball team when we're healthy. And I think this

(28:31):
basketball team, it stays healthy and nothing crazy happens. We
need one more player, one more veteran player on our
bench that still has some legs. This team competes for
an Eastern Conference championship in the next two seasons and
could compete for world championship in three seasons. And that

(28:51):
is that what everybody else here is hoping, but I
do it is joining as right now. I want to
say Cavalier in University of North Carolina, tope of target
here the legend because you know you can't you can't
leave out the tar heels out. But what is it, Brad,
that that you think is You know, we talked about
the chemistry, you talk about all those pieces that have
come together. But if there's one thing that that that

(29:14):
impresses you the most out of out of this unit
that that Kobe and JB have been able to put
together because you you you mentioned the veterans, you mentioned
the young guys. You know, you have to throw in there.
You probably don't know. Probably, I'm sure you don't relate
being the number one pick and being drafted by probably
every college in the country. But what Lamart Stevens and
deem Wade had done for for JB coming off the bench,

(29:38):
it's something that has to be admired by everybody here. Yeah,
I think the J. B. Baker staff is basically taken
a little bit of old school basketball and implemented this
basketball team is defense first. There's not many teams in
this league. I don't care. You know, think about all
the teams we talked about. Everybody talks about Golden State, Okay,

(29:59):
what to talk about. They're talking about Steph current Clay
Thompson shooting thirty threes. You look at Brooklyn, who's not
played well, but you understand dynamically what they are. If
they get it going, it's a basketball team and score
hundred fifty points. What JB has done is he's taken
the fundamentals of defense and said this is gonna be
our lynch Pen And you just don't see that. And

(30:21):
so when guys come in, yeah, they contribute what they
contribute offensively, whether it be limited or whether it be dynamic.
But they all defend. And it all starts with with
Jared Allen and Evan Mobley. When you have shot blockers
that have the proclivity to block shots in access the

(30:43):
way those two do, and they both do it differently,
you've got a major anchor. Jared Allen is a shot
blocker that straight up, he reminds me of Alonzo Mourning.
I used to I used to kid a Lions all
the times. A man you get dunked on all the time,
and you know why, you know what I got get
because he he contests every shot. So you're gonna see

(31:03):
Jared Allen on some posters. It's what the young folks
like to say today. He's gonna get up because you
know why he's coming. But you know what, everyone in
the league knows that. So when these guards turned the corner,
they're thinking twice. When the big guy gets the ball
and goes up, he's saying, I gotta I gotta finish.
If I'm not in position to finish, this guy's gonna
block my shot. Then conversely, you go to Evan. He's

(31:28):
one of the best weak side defenders in the league
right now. And he's a rookie. He comes weak side.
His basketball IQ defensively is very high. He I love
watching him. He is roaming. He comes from week side
and blocks more shots than anyone on our team. And
so now that dynamic creates almost like a maze defensively.

(31:48):
Now you start plugging in people. You plug in Isaaca Coro,
who is a stud defensively. I mean he is a stud.
I don't care. You can put him on step Curry,
you can put him on James Harden, you can, I
don't care. They're gonna have a hell of a night
when that guy lines up in front of him. Same thing.
Stevenson comes in, toughness, Wade comes in. He's got size, strength,

(32:13):
and he can move his feet and he can shoot it.
But it's all on the defensive end. Kevin Love, the
old man, comes in, still one of the best defensive
rebounders in the NBA. So those are the intangibles that
make this team. It's putting this team on a on
a on a ship to greatness. And that's JB. Bickerstaff man.

(32:35):
That's not getting into you know, the mantra of today's
game where it's can we outscore and outshoots you. So
you've seen us without our full load of ospense, beat
some teams, including the brickle Brooklyn Nets, because we defend first.
And that mentality, my friend, is not it's not prevalent

(32:57):
in the day's game. And it's a different thinking. When
Tab told me we're gonna and Kobe said, we're gonna
start three seven ft and I said, you guys be
fired halfway through the season, so have fun while it lasts.
But it's been unbelievable, and he's got guys, there's three
seven footers, and it doesn't work on the offensive end

(33:18):
without marketing his presence because you know he in in Chicago.
He struggled, and I saw why he struggled. He kind
of disappeared because he's not a physical presence as a
seven footer. But what he can do and where he's
great is when he starts making shots. When he starts
making shots, now you have another big guy because they
the other team is forced to have size on him

(33:40):
because if you don't, he can wander back into the
into the lane and get six or seven rebounds. That
that's possessions in the day's game. Possessions are so important,
but he makes threes. It's a problem. It's a conundrum
because you gotta have someone on size that can close
out and guard him, and that's tough to find at
seven ft at the three. So he's the key. He's

(34:00):
the key, Brad. Earlier on in the year, we talked
a lot about the time Magic Johnson said that your
Cavalier's team were the Lakers of the nineties, and we've
also talked about how you know the Calves during the
Lebron area, it was all about expectations. So again during
the regular season, you have to win. This team is

(34:21):
on the rise, like you guys are on the rise.
What is that experience like for these guys that don't
know what they don't know, but all of a sudden,
all the success is hitting him right now? What are
these guys going through mentally right now? Yeah, now, this
is this becomes a tough time. You know you got
Darius made his first All Star game. We all know
Jared is is right there. He's on the brink of

(34:43):
being an All Star. So now JB has set the platform.
Now he's got to manage all the pieces and parts. Fortunately,
he's got great young man. And and what happens when
you start hearing about the success and start seeing your
your name here, your name on Sports Center every every night,

(35:03):
you kind of that it's just natural. You the confidence
starts to overflow and you start to believe a little
bit of that stuff. And sometimes you can lose your
way because it becomes about your individual performance instead of
the team. We've gotten here because of our team play.
We have some individuals who are special, no doubt about it.

(35:23):
And that's kind of goes back to when we were there.
It's not like the Lebron is a once in a
lifetime talent. You bring that guy in, I don't care
who the coach is, I don't care who the gym
and everybody gets as a genius all of a sudden, Uh,
that's totally different. That's irrelevant. That has got nothing to do.
But this team is similar to our team into where
you've got good pieces and parts, you've got smart basketball

(35:46):
players that play well together, and you continue to build
upon that. The thing is this is or it becomes tricky,
is you're just you're one You're one bad decision away
from this maning it though, So that's gonna be the
tough thing. You're one over burdened contract and not being

(36:07):
able to miccet Mayes another contract away from losing your mojo.
See this tip. Basketball team where we're at full strength
is capable. When we're not at full strength, we're still okay,
but it's not good enough because it's predicated upon the
defensive end first and having solid quality moments throughout each

(36:30):
quarter where we execute offensively. You know, we're not we're
not asking anybody to score, you know, but we're asking
guys to score eighteen nineteen twenty and do it in
a group, do it collectively. So this is this is
gonna be that Kobe's gonna earn his he got a
new extension on his contract. He's gonna learned every guy
because it's it's gonna be. He's gonna be up twenty

(36:52):
five hours a day some nights trying to figure this
out and keep it, keep it going for those of
us humans that never played basketball at the level that
you guys do, Brad, what is it that it's about
to change right now? For these young guys that started
with the mantral of learning how to win, and then
they have to learn how to finish and now they're
learning about how everybody's coming after them. But now the

(37:13):
All Star Game is gonna be over the break and
and and the great guys have that switch or that
extra gear that they know they have to turn it
into to finish the regular season and get ready for
the playoffs. What is this do you think where it's
gonna be the difference here for this guy? What what
is the biggest thing they have to learn because we
have young guys that never I mean watch the playoff
on TV most. I mean, did you take away the veterans? Yeah,

(37:37):
this is this will be here and I'm I'm you know.
Coach Bickerstaffs talked with guys. When you have a young
basketball team like this and they played so well and
the momentum is going, they've got to continue to work
and when they All Star break, you can't take it off.
If you want to win, You've got to keep going.
You take a day, take a day or two, but
you've got to stay in the gym. You've got to

(37:58):
keep getting your reps. And so you don't come back
because the majority of the teams who are are behind us,
these guys are gonna they're gone. They're gonna go. They
can't clue they're gone. And so when they come back,
and and and they jumped back into basketball, you know,
that third week of February, all of a sudden, they

(38:21):
gotta get back into shape. You gotta get back in
the rhythm. You gotta get that. The things we did well,
and this is a long time ago, it's a lovely differently,
but where we get where we flourished is in the
beginning of that's that second half we were you know,
all of our guys, we made sure we worked out,
we stayed in shape. You know, I'm markering myself for Larry.
We were playing in the All Star Game and back
then All Star Game in our practice hard, Yeah, so

(38:44):
we went hard. So when we came back, we jumped
on people. And you jump on people and you you
you beat them down, especially the guys that are close
to you in your division, and then your you get
a chance to play him, you beat them. You take
advantage of them. And that's what you know, as you
know the years the years over there is talking to
Michael about the Chicago teams, that's what they did as well.

(39:05):
They worked hard during the All Star break to maintain everyone.
It's up you know, when Dennis Rodney came on, he
was the only one they had to get back and change.
But everyone else was busting their butt. So that's what
that's gonna be critical for this basketball team. And uh,
not to lose it, because I'm telling you can lose it.
You can lose your really quick. And there's some teams

(39:26):
that want to get better. I mean, you think Brooklyn
wants to have lost you know, eight of nine. You know, no, no,
they gotta figure that out. You know Philly, Philly, Philly
wants to go they want to dominate. You know, Milwaukee,
We're not talking about them enough. Can they turn up
the way? You know, there's a lot of teams in
our division, the Miami Heat, you know Chicago. I mean,
nobody has just said a word about Chicago. You know

(39:48):
they want to maintain. So we we gotta be We
gotta do some work over these next few weeks. Brad
coming up next week, you mentioned All Star. You five
time All Star. I mean you played in some of
the great greatest aimes with some of the all time legends.
Darius is going to his first All Star Game. What's
it gonna be like for him? I mean, is he
gonna just be white eyed. And oh yeah, man. You know,

(40:12):
I remember my first All Star game. I rolled in,
you know, and I was so I felt so good.
I'm one of the guys, and you know, I walked
into the locker room and there's Kareem and I remember
saying to myself, Man, let's Kareem abduled your bar, you know,
and it's just you know, as one of my heroes.
And so, uh get you get the practice with these
guys and you get to know them a little bit

(40:32):
and that that's a lot of fun. And going to
practice watching these guys you know, go through you know,
like I said, a little different day, we were going
full speed and you know, being on a team, you know,
watching you know, Robert Parrish go full speed, watching Larry
Bird at full speed, you know, it was interesting and
it even showed you there's another level you've got to
get to to maintain to even getting near that. So,

(40:55):
uh yeah, he's gonna have a great time. This is
just peer group. But for these guys a little there
for man, because you know a lot of these guys
played they played they played basketball together forever. But it'll
be cool they get to be around Lebron and see
him at full speed and that type of stuff, and
you can learn a lot from that and glean a
lot from that and come back at second half and

(41:15):
be ready to be the man. All right, So enough basketball, Brad,
What's what's the off season like in Nascar? I mean,
I know, I know a lot of people know that
you're a NASCAR lover. That's how I knew Brad Doherty
by the way, you know, I knew you as a
NASCAR guy first, obviously I know who you're were in
North Carolina and the Cawaliers. But what's the season like?
I know, he's not a season for you guys. Know,

(41:36):
there's no all season. You know, we race, you know,
we raced. We raced almost ten months and then we
were as soon as the season is over in November. Uh,
we give our guys Thanksgiving Day off and then and
then we start buildings. Yeah, yeah, we start building race
cars and that that is a We work in shifts
around the clock to get ready. We just were out

(41:59):
in l A this past weekend, had our first race
my my team. We finished thirteenth, which is a good
day for us UM. But they, you know, they're already
on their way back, they pulled back into the race shop. Today. Uh,
we turn around and we take off next week, head
back to Daytona. Dates on a five hundreds next weekend,
and then it's on thirty six weeks straight. My friend

(42:19):
all over the United States of America hoping to hop right.
Always gotta get the homestead. Man, you gotta get to Miami.
That's my spot. Yeah. I got ask because every time
I watched a NASCAR race, I mean, the guys in
there looks so, I mean shoehorned into that car. Have
you ever I get asked, Have you ever driven? Driven? Yeah? Yeah, Yeah,

(42:44):
I actually raced. I Ray. I raced what they call
late model stock, uh for about seven or eight years.
And Uh, I've driven our race cars at test. We
used to test a lot. We used to test about
ten times a year, and Uh I would go and
I had a special seat built for me, and uh
we would take backup car and I would go. And
I've raced. I've run I mean, I've run a hundred

(43:05):
and fifty laps at Daytona. I've run probably three hundred
laps in Atlanta. I've run three hundred laps at Charlotte
I've run two or three hundred laps at Bristol. I've
run a lot and uh yeah, it's it's tough getting
in that race car for me, but there's a lot
of walk too. I've done it. And uh I actually
blew attire Bristol about seven or eight years ago and
a race car. And I've got a You said I

(43:28):
got a little knot here, I got a I got
a separated shoulder I've had for about ten years. And
that was my last time. I said, you know what,
I've been lucky, racy. Things had a lot of fun.
But I got my big butt out of that race car.
The closest seen, the closest I've been through being in
a NASCAR car. He's riding my bicycle at the Homestead
Motor Speedway. They always open it, come on down a

(43:49):
car about a hundred nine hour and see what you
take of it. Did Larry Nasal let you drive He's
drive car? No, yeah, man, I've never Larry I have.
Oh we were crazy man. Yeah, man. I made a
heck of a pass that Norwalk one day and Larry's
uh pro sportsman. I let the clutch out on that thing.

(44:10):
You parent, you didn't you didn't have any NASCAR or
fastcar driving capsules in your contract when you were when
you were a player. Man, let me let they knew
that Larry and I are hot rod guys, and they
just kind of shook their head. That's all they can do.
We're all any would say is he's looking at our hands.
But they'd be all cut up walking on cars and
just like we're making all this money with those hands.

(44:32):
But you got cuts and bruises? What's wrong with you? Guys?
And we can see you're in your car now do
you drive like a maniac on the street knowing you can? So?
I try to be patient. I just want people to
get into the right lane if you're supposed to be
in the dern right lane drives me crazy. Brand Doherty,

(44:54):
and thank you so much for joining Wine and Gold Radio.
We really really appreciate it and we love I love
your your play by play, oh man, I mean love it.
It's Buckalore ready. I will not listen to the Wine
and Go anymore. Thank you? So see your home said, yeah,

(45:15):
thank you man. That was a great Brad Doherty. How
about that? How cool is that? Man? I love it.
I'm gonna take him for that offer to get on
a NASCAR car. I know people don't like NASCAR because
they always make left turns, and you know, like in
Latin America and in Europe as well, it's like Formula
one is what they like. You know, it only Formula one.
You think about NASCAR, And we've talked about this before,

(45:37):
it's like a hockey game. You unless you've been there
to see it, live, to hear it and feel it,
you can't really appreciate it unless you appreciate a hundred
thousand people sitting there watching cars making left turn for
four hours. It does not all it is. I love
the noise, I love the cars. I love the heaviness
of the encourage of beasts. So yeah, I used to
be a Jeff Gordon fan. You know the Rainbow Warriors.

(45:59):
You know he used to he screwed him. His pit crew.
They were the first ones that used to go to
training camp. And that's how they got a lot better
because they used to go to training camp. They're doing
weight and everything. You could see how much faster they could.
Let be a fun job, wouldn't it be in the
pit crew? I think it'd be fun until you get
running over. But play a car training to get in
and out of the pit really quick. Hey, let's let's

(46:22):
take a little quick break and then we have a
super special special Oh I got I'm so excited for
a segment three. We're gonna We're gonna get to the
bottom of this thing finally. Uh So stick around. We'll
be right back on Wine and God Radio. Wine and
Goes Radio. Hey, this is a my crump in arena
hole for your cleaning cavaliers. And I will never and

(46:48):
the crump means never listen to Wine and Gold Radio.
I mean what, There's more of this after this on
Wine and Gold Radio. Heart pounding, bast breaking action of

(47:11):
college basketball is back when the two Mid American Conference
Basketball Tournament returns to Rocket Mortgage field House March ninth
through the twelve pulses will rise at hearts will race
as the men and women of the MAC putting all
on the line. Tickets are on sale now at Rocket
Mortgage field House dot com. MAC Tournament Basketball be there.

(47:37):
Where have you station? Just taken part right? Hold back, baby, yoca?

(48:26):
Any mother? Did my kids? Nick law? And now back
to Wine and Go to Radio. Okay, everybody, and welcome
back to segment three of wine in Gold Radio and
then Go Radio. I'm still bad. I'm still fighting for

(48:48):
the polk to make come back home. And one of
these weeks I promised you, one of these weeks I'll
get the poke on. I just hey, um, how great
was it having bred Dorty on it? Last segment? Amazing?
I love he's good at it. But he's knowledge of
of basketball and Nascar and any other part on short's amazing. Yeah,
And and just everything his delivery, his voice, everything is bread.

(49:11):
But speaking of voices we have, I think theyre they
calling clumbs the voice of God. He said the guy
when he when he talks, you look up right right
when this guy, like my voice is embarrassed and your
voice is embarrassed to have this guy on here right now,
because right now is the great Marty Allen. Oh my god,

(49:32):
welcome to this show. Man. Hey. First of all, I
want to tell you and all your audiences, I'm so
proud of you. Then, because you remember I was the
guy that kept coming to you. You gotta do it,
show me you did. You would be a natural. No,
I am not. I am not. Rafa carries me man
and and Rafa I would cattle prod him for like
a year and a half. He did when show Coming

(49:52):
is the show Coming? And we had the pandemic because
he was going to do it before the pandemic happened,
and then after you know, whats the pandemic happened, we
kept it, kept you know, stalling, but I kept after him.
I said, gee, funk Shows, what's upe of your show? Well,
I mean we had the Mighty Ali Show and then
from the g l C Show with all those guys. Huh.

(50:15):
But here here's the problem in today's age of social
networking for the position that I hold being a representation
of the cavalier, especially watching my voice work and Billboard voice,
you can't say anything now because if you pee off
the wrong person with the right connections that get you fired,
you in trouble. And I'm sixty one and a half.
I can't afford to lose. That's the best job I've

(50:36):
ever had in That's why I always laugh when people
on social media put like opinion on our mind. I'm like, yeah,
they're yours until exactly. So therefore, I had to stop
doing it because I did the whole Trump thing with
with the Biden. I didn't want to get in the middle.
We don't always by the way, uh we don't, you

(51:00):
know merch right. I love when they when they said
moved to Cleveland and said, yes, swing state, I love
to be part of. You really feel like you vote
countsmen because you don't know which way the state's going.
But weren't gonna talk politics. The good thing about it,
We're gonna talk about a topic that is near and

(51:22):
dear to us. We've been talking about this for for
episodes and episode this season at least, right, and it's
been a subject of curiosity. And he doesn't Joe doesn't
believe me that you had recently acquired a b Day
for your home and you swear by the best thing
I've ever done in my life. I can tell the

(51:44):
story people. There are some people who might not know
what the other way. We're on a basketball show talking
about it. It will be clay, Okay, it'll be Clay.
So for years, years and years, probably twenty something years,
had always heard about it a day, But I thought
that you had to buy a toilet with a Bidday

(52:05):
already installed in it, with the holes and everything for
the water. I didn't know. So I get on Facebook
and I say, hey, I'm thinking about getting up a
day now that I finally paid off my home. Thank you, Tesla.
I said, I want a biday. He said, where can
I find an inexpensive biday? And start? People start chiming
in about a two thousand, three thousand that. I said,
that's what her now Jim Mantail, who used to do

(52:25):
mornings w G A R. She talked about, hey, you
can get up a day for like fifty bucks. I said,
what they go, Yeah, you can have it put on
as an extension. You just getting holes small holes that
you're hanging next to it there and it sits on
the toilet where the toilets the toilet steed mounts it
on and it's on the silence, got these controls and

(52:46):
it's got a little bit of water, little more water water.
So I said, oh my god. So I get me one.
I get up a day and I have my my
phisic fix it man come over. He put sit the
end and this is for fifty bucks. You can have
this thing with all these settings. It will change your life.

(53:07):
Mine is a luxe but day you at sea. And
so I get one. I have my guy come over
and put it on, not they sell two kinds. They
sell the cold water one or they sell the cold
and hot water one. But with hot water you'd have
to have the connection in order to go. I didn't
have that. I didn't want to spend all that, so
I went for a cold water. But day now in
the summertime, the water is lou cool at the hind

(53:30):
of summer and starting to the water is cool cool.
But now in February you turn it on. But you
used to it, and it's gonna and it's gonna be
part of the refreshment. Listen, there's nothing like a power
wash when you do this. That's that. That's way I

(53:52):
can expect. I gotta, I got it. I got bad
news for you. You're lucky you don't travel because if
you would ham and let's say with the calves like
we do, then you're on the road without not Every
hotel has to be there that we traveled them, do they? Yeah?
They do? Yeah? Where have I been man? Because I
feel like I've never seen him a day. They either

(54:14):
have You either have the hose next to the thank
or he has the actual seat next to it. Really,
I tell man, sometimes you can use the bathtub. I'll
be there, Yes, yes, down to the same place. One
who care? So all I can tell you is this,

(54:35):
there is nothing like a power wash after you get
done with your business. There's nothing like it. And even
more economical. Joe, you you your toilet paper. Everybody run out,
everybody the toilet paper. You don't know when you get
up a day, you're toilet paper. Now you maybe go
to a role a week. Now you can go six

(54:56):
weeks without even finishing one role. That's the s part.
Listen the best see Raphah is shaking his head at
me like he knows all about it. You people who've
done I've never used one. You know, I'm telling you now?
You know me? You love me? You know? Yes? I
mean as soon as you use the per day, you know,
the first time you've ever b you will never go back.

(55:19):
You will never d You get up and you are refreshed,
finding you know that? Why Jo Yeah, we all gotta go.
Why not enjoy that? Have you? Have you tried to
convince Daddy Kurt Kurt mcgarglin, Casey coolest for my engineering staff.
I said, yeah, I'm gonna go over Rappa and Joe

(55:40):
g Show after we get done with cam h kill
in the radio and do it and and and Casey
was like, well, I don't want to hear about that.
I understand what it's like, but I don't want to
hear about like I know, but you got Manly man
who feels like it's a violation up there. Manly, we'll
be talking about you there. You work with the acquisition. Actually,
the first time we talked we started at chart. This

(56:03):
has been going for like six shows. I saw he's post.
I saw he's post on Facebook asking for recommendations. That
was like, that's pretty interesting. And and did when you
find out that you can get it up of fifty
bucks and it's it's got two nozzles, so one side
it's like more of a jet stream, and then the
other way it's kind of a flurry. It just all
depends on what you want and what the hell you

(56:26):
ate the night before will change. If Joe ti it
will change your life fifty bucks and maybe give the
guy who puts it on fifty bucks change your life. Well,
I'll tell you what. I would definitely get the hot
water because yeah, I'm very delicate. Right now. When you

(56:50):
turn it on, if you not woke, you are woken.
That water on. Okay, that starts your power was rap?
Can we talk basketball now? Should we just say goodbye?
Just anything old starry day conversation. I think we should
just wrap this whole thing up. Man. That's closes. Man.
I gotta tell you though, before we go. I love

(57:11):
the Caress Lavert thing. Can't you imagine, Oh my god,
for somebody that consistently goes to the whole Do you
know what I love is more to the fact that
he's at Wolverine coming into you gonna kill the buzz.
I mean and as hey, you love to have draft capital.
But you know, I'm trying to put this in the

(57:33):
kindest way of all the deals Kobe has made, this one.
You don't miss. You don't miss anybody. No, not a
nice guy. I mean really, but you don't miss you know,
I mostly nothing. You're not gutting the team. Like Brad
Doherty talked about, uh, pulling Ron Harper, Ron Harper out
and how much that screwed up the Calvs chemistry. You
didn't have to do that. If you'd pull Dean Wede

(57:55):
out of this line up, or Lamar Stevens one of
those nice pieces. You don't know how that would have
affected chemistry and that it didn't affect chemistry at all.
That's the thing right now, and Jab mentioned it before
the game against Indiana that A he knew that we're
not a we were not a perfect squad. B that
he was ready to go to war with what we

(58:16):
have and see, the most important thing was to not
mess with the chemistry, because whether you want to admit
it or not, the chemistry is a big piece of
the success the Cavaliers have enjoyed this ism. So the
fact that future Executive of the Year Kobe Altman has
been able to do all this because it is not

(58:38):
a bias opinion. I think Kobe is up there for
to be the Executive of the Year, but the fact
that he was able to do that. Yes, we we
traded Ricky Rubio, it's a contract, but the fact that
nothing of what was being used exactly to get to
where we are at this moment, because this is the
nature of the Beast is a business and you have

(58:59):
to make moves two to get better, to hope and
try to get better. But when you add without really
substracting much, it is something that has to be admired
on that side, and then you just hope I might
trust this that JB will be able to find a
role because remember this is all about roles. It's all

(59:20):
about doing that one thing that is asked of you
and do it to the best of your ability without
worrying about what the other fourteen guys are doing. Just
do your best you every day and that's it. Because
if you can do something that you should be in
Hollywood instead of instead of like you know, playing in
the NBA, So might I have faith in that. But
when you look at the whole picture, you know, when

(59:41):
we end up with the two pieces that the Nets
had to get rid of in order to get James Harden,
I mean, come on, you're talking about a guy that
is close to a twenty point twenty point a game, right,
and again you look back at Jared Allen, who you
got for you know, pieces parts. You didn't really have
to give up any core parts. But you know what
the great thing about it is that now everything that

(01:00:04):
Kobe did since Finals, everything that all the move that
he made acquiring those assets allowed him to switch from
the position of acquiring assets to not put him into
play and catch the cashing the men, and he's done
a wonderful job doing that. How far can this team go, Marty,
I'll tell you what, I honestly believe that they're going

(01:00:27):
to be a pain in the rear end in the playoffs.
They're gonna be a pain nobody player. Then you've got
a big teams four times in the playoffs. That's a
different thing, you know. That's the thing that the other
guys have to learn. We've been talking about learning how
to win, learning how to close that game, learning how
now everybody's coming after us. Now we've got to learn
like like like Brad was saying, you know, once the
second part of the season come, that's when the guys

(01:00:49):
that know and have done it before. But we have
guys that have done it before. They can get on
this guy's here. I believe Londo won it twice. Kevin,
what's he here? Doing their best era of the cap.
So I have faith in our guys and and my
money is on them to to make some noise. And again,
you know, you this this is not that we now
situation and the window is closing. We're just about to

(01:01:11):
break that window open and and and hoping that it's
gonna be for a good ride, because a lot of
things have to go right that we don't control, health
being one of them. But we've been we've been able
to manage COVID and injuries pretty well this season and
how and now we see what it's like to have
team chemistry, because the team chemistry is just unbelievable. These

(01:01:34):
kids like each other and they believe in everything that
their coach JB. Bickerstaff is telling them. They believe in him.
He lets them have fun, but he also gets on
them when they're not doing. Even when when they win,
he will get on them about something that he did
not like, you know, let's them accountable, but he lets
them be kids and that bunch the best part about JB.
And and I haven't experienced this much, you know, having

(01:01:56):
worked for so long on the national side. But it's
the same guy that was the assistant when he came
to Cleve with him, Yeah, except that now he's in charge.
And the guys love that the guy, the fact that
he has not changed. He's still the closest piece of
the coaching stuff that they can go to straightforward. They
know what they're going to get with him. He doesn't

(01:02:17):
hide it. He lets them know what he expects from them,
but he gives them leeway. Okay, you made a mistake,
but the next time, I want you to do it
this way. You know what I'm gonna understand that I'm
gonna start uh a pole. It's like ask him players,
the NBA players, if they have will be there in
their home or the road. The users. I gotta find

(01:02:39):
out the next the next next time. I mean, yes,
maybe in Philly there will be one, not in Indiana.
As soon as you land, I'll take a picture, take
a picture, and I'll jump on a plane. Joe g
I promise you, as I leave you number one, we
all gotta go. Why not enjoy the goal at number two?
I promise you that once you get one, you're gonna

(01:03:01):
come to me down in Calm's Rating and say, oh
my god, I can't believe I'd waited over. I'm gonna say,
big Daddy, where you've been all my life? Right? Yeah? Belief.
You don't think of it in any loop kind of
where you just think of it as extually. I like
being clean. And this is the ultimate power watch, though,

(01:03:23):
you see. That's why you're so alert right now. Imagine
make laser focus, Daddy, make it to be decommerging like
that dude with the flexi whatever, you know, the guy
that has the thing that covers every would that covers
the boat going a minute, Yeah, I gotta ask you

(01:03:46):
a favor. Beforegie Georgie started doing his he's thinking, we
need somebody to record the voicemail for a for our hotline. Yes,
it's one to The number is two one six for
two for twenty. Like Georgie like to say, I'd like
to say, but we don't have a greeting voicemail, right
I say it Marty right now, and it's it's we

(01:04:08):
don't we need that, we need that. You tell me.
He when we're talking, you tell me what you need.
You I got you. That's what Marty says. That it
makes everything sound important. Buns. Big Daddy's like anything you want. Okay, Hey,
let's let's say some thank you and cut Big Daddy

(01:04:30):
lose because we know he's got a big meal strip
pat pie. Just do a regular pot pie and then
you saw tell you up a little shrimp and then
afterwards you put all in the pool delicious. Now after
that he's in a full stream or like a sprink,
like a like a like a I'll know in the
morning spinach and kale fruit smoothie, you know what the peole.

(01:04:54):
But I do have to get the streaming people. We
gotta thank the pr staff, b j Evans Chafe, the
thin white Duke, Jerome, he's the straw that stirs the drink.
Jerome is the band, and of course Sling and Sammy
the young guy. We have to thank Matt Gold, the
Golden boy who joined us sound Segment one for news

(01:05:16):
around the League. We had to boot him out after that.
Men of the North. We have to thank Joe Fritchen
Casey Coolest, who has we learned doesn't have the stomach
for every day you can't do it. And then he
just doesn't want to hear. And then there's Peter Bourbon.
Is there such a thing as that? Peter Burman, I
don't believe it. Now there's no Pete Burman. I don't

(01:05:36):
believe that. Georgia and Ashley work for Cavs dot com.
They help you post your Spanish radio stuff. Rob Hageman
and Joe Mochner who does our hotline one. Yes exactly.
We're still giving a white ticket for people that leaven
we can use on the air. Get yourself some tickets
to do it. Uh, we have to thank that maybe

(01:05:58):
the best person w Cleveland, Mrs Lucy Harris, the best,
best human. Yes, and then we have to thank the
guy that makes this go, the guy that, if it
didn't have Marty Ellen knows d Mac is the guy
that makes this whole operation. See, he is the best.
That's what I'm saying. And then we'll thank Dirty Kurt,

(01:06:19):
because we already thank Marty Good your partner in crime.
Dirty Kurt. We'll see you guys forgetting You're forgetting one thing?
Who did I forget? No, not that one. I don't
want to thank him our special gainst brand new Right,
you better buckle up, but you see you guys next week.

(01:06:43):
And as always, good night, Freddy Mac. Wherever you want
your list need to wind and getting Radio Cleveland. I
would have been there. Who mouse gotta who are you

(01:07:04):

slapped five mills. I'm Brandon, Brandon coming to the fore court,
Brandon with great with I'm the running god head beating
the mother. Can't well America. Let me get that taste,
