Want Okay, I like that, whatever I want.
Speaker 9 (01:13):
So, first segment, we're gonna chit chat.

So make sure we'll give out the phone number later

the second segment, and we'll get some calls today. Make
sure to address Vouch because he gets butt her too
when someone calls and then they're.
Speaker 9 (01:41):
Like, this question is for Brian, but you gets offended and.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
But let me tell you, so, let me just say he.
Speaker 9 (01:49):
Takes the phone.
Speaker 6 (01:50):
I I've been a fan of to break my whole life.
You know what I'm saying. You know Rob Fillis and
Dave him and all those guys. Just I've been watching
dot com for the long time.
Speaker 9 (01:59):
When take calls my name, but when you were listening, I.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Say I was. I said when I was a fan.
Speaker 6 (02:09):
All these other people right, every time somebody and and
almost and all that, and every time somebody called like, hey,
I got a question for Broadest, I would always be like, hey, man,
if I'm on that panel, I feel away.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
You don't want my opinion, you don't want my thoughts.
Speaker 6 (02:23):
So now that I'm here, because I work so hard
to get here, three people died for me to get here.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (02:28):
If they if y'all got a question, just for broadest,
I'm taking off the headphones.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I'm gonna let y'all rap.
Speaker 9 (02:34):
Only one person has a Super Bowl ring here.
Speaker 1 (02:37):
That is real.
Speaker 9 (02:37):
Nobody want to Brian brought us.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Let's get into it though, chit chat which I want?
Speaker 9 (02:41):
All right? Three keys to the game? I wanted just
to go.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
I got lucky. I got luckier in hell, Brian.
Speaker 8 (02:49):
Key number one. I know we've been breaking down both
offense and defense throughout the week, and now that we're
here for the last day prior to the game, obviously
we don't have a show on Monday. I wanted to
go through what you think the three keys to the
game the game are Number one, will go back and forth.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah, you know this thing is going to come down
to and I kind of know maybe a direction that
is going to go here. So I'll take the opposite
approach here. I'll take because I think I think I
have an idea where he wants to go. Here.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
You're going to talk about offense, right, I'm gonna talk
about offense. I'm blame Lou Please go ahead.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
I'm going to talk about offense because I don't think
you have a particularly great plan for brock Bauers that's
the that's the problem that I think, now, how is
that going to how you're going to navigate that? You know,
people were talking with me like, oh, well do you
double team him? How do you play him? And all that.
I this is a this is a team that has
struggled when it and it comes to having to deal
(03:48):
with you know, ever since Jordan Lewis has walked out
of this building there, they've struggled with having to deal
with some tight ends and how they've played tight ends.
And you know, we remember what happened in the Arizona
game with McBride and how he was able to play.
I think this is a whole different beast. When you
talk about Brock powers, they don't. That's that's really their
(04:09):
offense right now. We talked about Ashton gent and running
the football on all those things, but when when they
need a play, that's where they go. Are you good
enough defensively to be able to take him out of
the game. I have my doubts about that.
Speaker 6 (04:26):
Brock Bauers is one of the better tight ends in
the whole league. Brian bro I would say that he's
playing a little better than you know, the Travis Kelceys
of the world and all those guys.
Speaker 1 (04:35):
You know he's up there.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
The Cowboys don't have anybody in particular that can deal
with Baoers one on one. But Brian, I'll tell you what,
that ain't stopping the Raiders offense all year for you know,
from not getting going.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
You know what I'm saying, If.
Speaker 6 (04:50):
You could deal with their one superstar, do it on offense,
and that sounds crazy, but the Cowboys have done it before.
You know, they've played the Eagles and kind of held
some of the those guys in check relatively. You know,
some other teams here or there. Terry McClain who wasn't
Tarre mclallan wasn't play. But don't wry about it, right,
But they they they've done decently at dealing with big
(05:10):
name guys, right, Sure, Brian, this is all on the defense.
This is all on the defense, This is every little bit.
I think the offense is gonna be fine. I think
the offense got the personnel to deal with everybody. I
think the offense has the uh, the umph to want
to go and be creative and move forward. They don't
want to just get stagnant. The head coach come out
(05:30):
here and tell you like, hey man, this is where
I messed up.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
I try to get too aggressive. Bo bo boom boom
boo boom. So man, Brian.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
I know we can look at Terry Steele and be like,
hey man, he probably gonna have a hard time with
Max Crosby over there. But I don't think that's gonna
be the reason why your top tier offense is going to,
you know, lack scoring points in this game. If your
offense lacks scoring points in any game this year, it's
been because they've had to get out of their rhythm
to play catch up. Because when some track me with
(05:57):
some team to win, got no business being in that
in that track me with right, So you deal with Bowers,
in which I do think you will be able to
deal with Bowers. It won't be on a one on
one situation. I don't recommend you just put Bland on
bows and just go let him run around like that,
because I don't want Bland traveling that way. I don't
want to treat Bland like a cornerback one anymore. I
want to treat him like the bona fide cornerback two
that he was great at. Right, And we just gonna
(06:19):
have to beat people with scheme. But boy, this is
all on flues. Somebody asks the day Brian on Twitter,
we were just reaching out, asked for a question. They're like, votch, Yeah,
what happens if Quinn Williams is bad? And what happens
if we get here and all pro best at everything
Quinn Williams is bad? I think we all gonna point
our fingers at the voice, like Umbar says, you know
(06:40):
what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So it's all on flues.
Speaker 8 (06:42):
Bran, Okay, So for key number two, I want to
focus on decision making, and I know the last game.
Speaker 9 (06:49):
They played there were some questioning and.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
Debates that we have here on the show in regards
to some of the decisions that Brian Schottenheimer made as
far as the way he was calling the game or
when those decisions were taken.
Speaker 9 (07:02):
How do you expect the play calling to go for
this game?
Speaker 8 (07:07):
Do you go in aggressive again or are you now
a little more calm and.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Just played with the flow on offense?
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (07:17):
More conservative?
Speaker 8 (07:18):
Or right off the bat you're still, let's say an example,
going for it on fourth down.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Let me tell you why that's a fantastic question. Let
me tell you what's a fantastic question.
Speaker 6 (07:26):
Because the traditional thinking would be that there's urgency here,
so we have to fire firefire, run, run, run, track me,
track me. But this offense is at its best when
it's moving fast, when it wants to. If you make
this offense move fast, then you're gonna run to some issues,
right You're gonna make them speed things up, that gonna
start pressing. You know, running backs may try to do
(07:46):
too much. But it seems like not conservative because Cowboys
are always aggressive. But when they're just in their plan, man,
we're gonna run the football, We'll huddle up, get to
the line of scrimmage, Da da da fourth and one,
fourth and two. I'll be aggressive there and you know
whatever whatever. That's when the Cowboys are at their best.
So I don't want them to go out there pressing
(08:07):
and thinking that, oh, well, we gotta go out here
and put points on the board right now because the
defense ain't gonna save.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
That might be the.
Speaker 6 (08:12):
Truth, but when they play that way, it don't typically
work out that way. I think the Cowboys just need
to be the more calm unit and just go out
and play your game. Do you think defense needs to
play with the harrow Fire.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
Yeah, I think what Vosh is saying is true. Now
as far as game management stuffs and things like that,
the Raiders are one of the worst teams in the
league when it comes to playing on fourth down. The
teams are about eighty two percent clip of converting on
fourth down against them. I think they've had eleven opportunities.
So keep that in your mind though, in your back pocket,
if you're interested in, like, Okay, I need to keep
(08:46):
this stripe going. I feel like we got momentum. You know,
the Raiders have really really struggled on fourth down defense,
and so that's something you can kind of I will
say this though, I don't think the Oakland Raider, Oaklan
Raiders the Las Vegas Raiders old man deal here. I
don't think the Las Vegas Raiders are interested in you
running the ball inside. And that's something that when you
(09:06):
look at with Williams and the way this offensive line
they've had some really good success this year being able
to handle that, and you know, and and and with
the with the centers and the two guards and the
tackles the tight end, they've done a really good job
of running the ball inside. But the Raiders aren't going
to let you do that. It's going to come down
to a test of Will's here. And this goes back
(09:27):
to Watt's talking about being being patient with the with
the offense, because Brian Schottenheimer could very easily become frustrated
in this game. If all of a sudden, you know,
the Raiders are allowing about three point seven yards to
carry inside. Your strength with Williams is running the ball
inside all of a sudden, Now you get into a
(09:48):
game where it's not working and you go away from that.
You know, we've all talked about that on this platform before,
like Schottenheimer going away from something where you know, not
sticking with it. It'll be very easy if they don't
have success inside run game for him to try and
do something else. And I think that kind of plays
into a little bit of like, Okay, then now you
(10:10):
have to deal with Max Crosby off the edge. If
you want to turn this into a passing game, you
could block him and throw the football. That's good. You've
had some struggles at your right tackle spot, that's bad.
Speaker 9 (10:23):
If you win the coin toss, do you take the ball.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
I'm a double dip guy. Yeah, I'm a middle eight guy,
And I kind of feel like though, this when you
get the ball, and I've learned this a little bit,
and I don't know how well it plays when you're
at their stadium. Was it Allianent, Allegiant Fields or whatever
the stadium a Vegas stadium, but whatever it is. Yeah, no,
(10:50):
I mean, but I always say the word wrong. But
sometimes what happens if you play at a visiting place
and you get the ball to start the second half,
the home crowd is still out getting their drink and
buying souvenirs and all that stuff, and they're not sitting
in their seats. They're having to stand in line to
get their food and stuff, so they're not back for
the second half kickoff. So sometimes you get the ball
(11:11):
back on the road with empty seats and you don't
have to worry about crowd noise and things like that.
So to me, give me the opportunity to win the
middle eight. You know, Doc and those guys have done
a great job of scoring points before the half. You
have one of the best kickers in the National Football
League when it comes to kicking long field goals. Let
me have a chance to kind of double dip that
(11:32):
middle eight and see if I can put this game away.
Speaker 6 (11:34):
You know, Brian, this is the weird thing about it,
And just tell me if I'm wrong here. The Raiders,
if they could get it right, they would be more
dangerous if they ran the football against you. Yes, they
haven't run the ball very well all year though, no
they have not. How the Cowboys have been giving up
big plays, you will kind of think Gino would be
(11:56):
the one to get you. Now with context that we
have Quinn Williams in the front there. Now we're thinking
about secondary, right, So it's almost like the player that
we fear the least would be the one that's likely
to beat you in the passing game. Because we talk
about Boers and our CBS in particular, right, and the
more talented guy genty you know we got you know,
you know we have a better way to defend that.
So I think it's all about when do you want
(12:17):
to deal with each one of those guys. If you
let the Raiders get the ball first, they're probably gonna
run the ball a little bit more, right, But let's
just say the Cowboys get the ball and you go
and do your thing and score fast and maybe put
them in a situation where they have to be more aggressive.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I think they want to be more aggressive and throw
the football against us. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
I kind of want them to be safe and feel like, oh, well,
let's run the football because it's safe here, because we're
better there. I think if the Raiders get in the
situation where they go, we're gonna throw the football because
we got to catch up. I think they're gonna make big,
big plays on this defense because that's historically, not historically
this year, that's what's been happening, that's what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Any Jacoby Brisset bow Knicks.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
Can throw the ball against his defense, so food to
feel like gen Geno Smith can't. So if it's up
to me, I wouldn't be trying to score fast because
I think that's gonna make them score fast and it's
gonna work. I would let them go first, and if
they don't score, let's just say we get a stop.
Then I'll turn it up and go because I'd rather
play ahead, well apartment, I would rather play in a
regular balance then for them to feel like they behind,
(13:19):
they try to catch us real fast, because they will
catch it.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Every team will catch.
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Us I don't know how you can watch Dallas's tape
and don't try and run the ball. I don't know
how you can watch dallass team. Even if you're a
team that has not been successful running the football, you know,
why why not give it a crack?
Speaker 6 (13:35):
But when you watch the Jets tape and you see
that dude in that.
Speaker 9 (13:40):
Still have to prove it though, That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
All of a sudden, it's like, what do you say,
whipping feet?
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Is that whipping feet feet?
Speaker 4 (13:48):
If you've got a situation where all of a sudden
it Quinnin Williams and and and Clark and those guys
are whipping feet and all of a sudden, you know,
Logan Wilson and those guys are playing well, and maybe
Overshown's got in there for a two to kind of
do some things. They've run down Ash and Genty from
behind or something like that. Yeah, until Dallas proves to
me that they could play run defense and those guys
(14:08):
can show up and do it, I'm gonna try and
run the football. I mean, I'm looking at the game plan.
I'm looking at and I know exactly what you're gonna
tell me. I know exactly what you're gonna do. You're
gonna tell me because I'm gonna ask you about I'm
gonna say, well, same game plan as Carolina, And you're
gonna say, Brian brought us. Carolina's built to run the football.
I know exactly what you're gonna say. Yeah, and so
(14:32):
to me, though, that's the plan. If the Raiders are
gonna win this game, they honestly need a Carolina game plan.
But to your point, and I don't disagree with you,
Carolina has is kind of built better to run the ball.
But this back that they've been waiting to get, this
this back takes more shots at the line of scrimmage
(14:52):
and behind the line of scrimmage, but he's the fourth
best in the league with yards after contact. Dallas is
one of those teams it gives up big yack runs.
I'm trying you. I'm trying it till you prove me wrong.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
Okay, So before we go to break, just to finish
this segment for key number three, who is a player
that needs to have a really, really good game in
order for the side of the ball to succeed.
Speaker 9 (15:19):
We'll start off.
Speaker 8 (15:20):
With the defense. If you can give me a name
and then on the offense, let's stake out of this
stickout dac of the equation.
Speaker 9 (15:27):
And give me a name.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
So defense first, Yes, if Jadevian Clowney continues to do
with he's what he's been doing. Yeah, I think Quinnen
will be fine. I think Kenny will be fine. I
think Overshown, Logan Wilson'll be fine. If we can build
another person aside from those interior guys. I want Clowney
to take another step up and go and get a
sack of something this game and still be good versus
one defense be good.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Then whoever's covering Brock Powersland and I am just telling
me whoever it is. If it's if it's all eleven
players on defense, go for it. But those eleven players
need to have I think he is the focal point
we talk about run with Ashton Genty, I think they're
gonna try and get that going. But I do think
that brock Bowers they're gonna try and take advantage that
they don't that you don't have somebody that can cover
(16:09):
him offense.
Speaker 6 (16:15):
And honestly, this game should be terror Steel because they'll
pleat yeahs over there, right, So yeah, this game the
whole season. I kind of want guy to take the
mixed up so the win. Gotta worry about him. But
this game, in particularly if Terror Steele can somehow some
way shut down Max krazy, I don't think it was.
Speaker 9 (16:33):
Out there early before practice, so he's getting his work in.
Better start for everyone.
Speaker 1 (16:38):
He better call Quinn and QUI please.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
This is Williams the running back to me, because you
know why. He's gonna have to run the football. He's
probably maybe gonna have to make a catch or two.
We'll see how that all plays. He's gonna be a
chip guy. He's gonna be a help guy. So if
the if in fact, he's a guy that's helping block
on the edge and kind of stand out of the way,
but stand in position. And if all sudden, if things
break down for Steel or Thomas or whoever's playing right tackle,
(17:05):
he's probably gonna have to clean up some of the mess.
I think that's gonna be really important for them. He's
gonna have to run the ball with some effectiveness in
this game, but he's also gonna have to help in
some of these pickups because you're probably gonna have some
breakdowns with some pressures We've seen it every week with
this offensive line. He's been there to clean up a
lot of the mess.
Speaker 8 (17:23):
All right, let's take our first break. When we come back,
Chris Beam, our producer in the back.
Speaker 9 (17:28):
He has a game for us after the break.

knows the Raiders by Al Davis. But Davis wasn't the
first owner of the franchise, established in nineteen sixty. Who
was the original owner. Oh it's a family, God darn it.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Look at your face.
Speaker 4 (24:31):

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Okay, here we go.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
This should be easy.
Speaker 14 (25:19):
The Raiders have moved around a bit. Name all cities
that the Raiders have been named after.
Speaker 9 (25:26):
All cities that the Raiders have been named.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
After, Yes, the cities that they were actually in Oakland.
There's one.

Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Now there you go.
Speaker 9 (25:39):
There's that's it.
Speaker 3 (25:41):

Angeles Raid.
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 8 (26:31):
I've never I guess, so Los Angeles Raider, I've never
people never referred back to them.
Speaker 9 (26:38):
I guess when was that ancient history?
Speaker 14 (26:40):
Actually, the Cowboys played the Los Angeles Raiders in nineteen
ninety five.
Speaker 9 (26:45):
There was barely born like then, So I've.
Speaker 14 (26:51):
Paved up Viva Las Vegas two hundreds, Viva Las Vegas
two hundred.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
This Cowboys, uh, this cowboy raider.
Speaker 14 (27:00):
Booknded his career in Vegas, but saved the Cowboys committee
when he grabbed his cowboys helmet.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Saved the Cowboys committee when he grabbed his cowboy helmet.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Yes, oh, Brian, Brian.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Read a question one more time, last time, don't cover.
Speaker 14 (27:22):
This Cowboys raider book ended his career in Vegas, but
saved the Cowboys committee when he grabbed.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
His Cowboys helmet.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
Charles Haley, Brian, m all right, go Brian, this would
be Amari Cooper.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Hold on, So what you mean when.
Speaker 14 (27:44):
Real quick wide receiver by committee that year and he
grabbed his helmet because of the wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Thank you, Brian. That's two hundred points Bryan bro.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
That's fair.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
That's that year.
Speaker 14 (27:58):
Remember Brian, it was a why receiver by a committee
and then they traded for a Mari Cooper.
Speaker 1 (28:06):
This is crazy.
Speaker 3 (28:07):
Go ahead, go ahead, Brian.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Let's finish out that category.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Viva Lost Vegas, even Las Vegas.
Speaker 14 (28:13):
This journeyman wrapped up his career in Oakland, but later
tutored three.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Cowboys all time leading passers. This is a three hundred
point question it again.
Speaker 14 (28:28):
This journeyman wrapped up his career in Oakland after playing
for the Cowboys, but later tutored three Cowboys all time
leading passers.
Speaker 9 (28:40):
Yeah, it's a oh was it a quarterback?
Speaker 4 (28:45):
Who is John Kittenna?
Speaker 16 (28:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (28:48):
That's why I was thinking.
Speaker 15 (28:49):
John Kittner ain't tutor us Troy Yeah, Trey Aikman. So
you're close and dead.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Who tutors and votch wotch. Wade Wilson, Look at you?
Speaker 3 (29:13):
That hundred points.
Speaker 14 (29:16):
Wade Wilson was a coach for the Cowboys in two thousand,
which was last year for trade.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Which one was that? Okay, that's three hundred.
Speaker 9 (29:24):
Points, three hundred Yeah, I was thinking, Okay.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
God, I forgot about Wade Wilson.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
He can't forget about.
Speaker 4 (29:34):
I forgot about him because I was thinking I was
thinking John Kitten. That might have Okay, he ended, uh
Wade ended his career with Brian.
Speaker 9 (29:44):
You had three hundred points and has four hundred now.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
Okay, Okay, So it's gotta don't worry about that break.
You got one.
Speaker 9 (29:55):
We're out of a hundred.
Speaker 4 (29:57):
You got six more questions? You got about last night
for a hundred?
Speaker 9 (29:59):
Goa ain't I thought we finished all the hundreds?
Speaker 4 (30:02):
About last night? How about this?
Speaker 17 (30:04):
All right?
Speaker 9 (30:05):
About last night? What happened last night?
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 14 (30:07):
This Cowboys returner took a last Vegas kickoff one hundred
yards for a touchdown, but he didn't help in the
running game as the Cowboys lost in overtime to Las Vegas.
Speaker 9 (30:17):
What year was this?
Speaker 3 (30:19):
This is the last time they played, so I think
it was twenty twenty two. Dang twenty two?
Speaker 4 (30:27):
A running back.
Speaker 9 (30:29):
Read it one more time, please.
Speaker 14 (30:31):
This Cowboys returner took a Vegas kickoff one hundred yards
for a touchdown, but didn't help in the running game
as Cowboys lost in overtime to Las Vegas.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
Okay, this player is still in the league, by the way,
but not in Dallas.
Speaker 9 (30:52):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
It's a good hint on.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Twenty twenty two, you say, ratch, I guess.
Speaker 9 (31:07):
Hold on, I'm thinking through twenty two. So it wasn't
leaving that long ago.
Speaker 3 (31:13):
Nope. Take all the Cowboys running backs.
Speaker 9 (31:18):
Uh, oh my god, twenty two. He wasn't here. Everything
everyone I'm thinking of, they definitely were not here anymore.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Well he's not here anymore, no, I know, but he
is in the league, Lucky White.
Speaker 9 (31:36):
That was a long time ago. That was way before.
Speaker 8 (31:38):
That's who I thought initially, and that is Alfred Morris
popped in my head for some reason.
Speaker 1 (31:44):
I mean, you're gonna say answers, who Yeah, isn't my
cousin Tony Pollard.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
It is your cousin Tony Pollard.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
He was only running back that was like family recently
that I can think of. I was thinking, like the
chart choice or something like.
Speaker 9 (32:05):
What's first one? I thought, okay, but that was a
long time ago.
Speaker 1 (32:08):
It was a long time. Let's go what happens in
Vegas three hundred?
Speaker 3 (32:12):
What happens in Vegas three hundred?
Speaker 1 (32:14):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 14 (32:15):
This current Cowboys player spent his first five years with
the Raiders before coming to the Cowboys in twenty twenty three.
Speaker 1 (32:24):
This current Cowboys spent five years with the Raiders.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
That is correct. Mm hmm, five years.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
They stole it? Is that what they start their backup?
Speaker 3 (32:41):
I'm not giving you any hints.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
That's crazy. H'm the Raiders five years his.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
First five years with the Raiders. Yes, so this is
a current Cowboy. Yes, this is a I would say
he is a starter.
Speaker 6 (32:56):
This is a three hundred question. I think this is
This is a two hundred question. Two hundred questions. It
gotta be like Trent c or something stupid like that. Wow,
it gotta be some crazy like Brent.
Speaker 9 (33:09):
You remember him in his uniform.
Speaker 14 (33:11):
I don't, but I remember that Prince started his first
five years with the Oakland Raider.
Speaker 6 (33:17):
But I'm going through offense and I'm going through defense
and none of those guys five years.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
So you like a seven year guy. It gotta be
special teams. Due appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
What happened?
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Head brought us? All right?
Speaker 9 (33:27):
You want to finish it off?
Speaker 4 (33:28):
Yeah, it's is the about last night? Is that a
three hundred one available? Yes? That is well, let's go
for it.
Speaker 14 (33:33):
Okay, Monday night and to catch up on a Monday
night in the Bay Area, Cowboys needed this official to
slide into action for a Cowboys.
Speaker 10 (33:44):
Was changed territory there. Look at this guy with that
car lien and he looked at the camera and smile.
And for another and for another three hundred, another three
hundred points. Who made the tackle that saved the Jeff
(34:07):
Jeff P dude?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
That come on, guys, David, try to slam dow across.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
That's not three hundred. That's a two hundred point question.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Get to that one against him if it's own kids.
Speaker 9 (34:19):
All right, well, let's thank you so much.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
That was really the victory seven points big.
Speaker 9 (34:27):
That was really good.
Speaker 8 (34:28):

Speaker 9 (34:28):

Speaker 1 (34:30):

Speaker 9 (34:32):

Speaker 9 (38:28):
Question sensitive, so thank you for including mantle.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
God, you got a lot of time.
Speaker 16 (38:33):
Go ahead, car I got you bro real fi, realistically,
you can't be a home er now if we lose
this game this weekend.
Speaker 20 (38:43):
Are we done?
Speaker 9 (38:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (38:45):
Man, if you man, if you.
Speaker 6 (38:46):
Lose to the Raiders, you ain't beating Uh look so
by the numbers, mathematically you're not done. But man, if
you don't beat the Raiders, dog, I don't want to
hear nothing about what you're going to do to Philly,
Kansas City, Detroit, Minnesota, or the I ain't trying to
hear none of it. If you, if you now now
being ain't got the music readed the Draft Show music readed.
But if you lose this week, it's bump bum bumb
(39:09):
bump bom real the song.
Speaker 20 (39:12):
Yeah, that sounded good for sure.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Appreciate you, Karma, Thank.
Speaker 9 (39:19):
You, Carmene. Okay, I guess I agree with that, of course.
Speaker 8 (39:25):
I mean mathematically, just like you said, you're not out
of the equations. But at the same time, it's hard
to see a win against those other teams coming up.
Speaker 4 (39:34):
Lose this game and you, yeah, we get we can
fire up the Draft Show music for sure.
Speaker 1 (39:37):
I don't see you going on a losing streak versus
the Broncos, Cardinals and Raiders and then going on winning
street beating the Eagles, Chiefs, and Lines.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
It ain't had it.
Speaker 9 (39:46):
Yeah, that's tough, Chris. Do we have another phone call?
Speaker 1 (39:49):
Of course you heard that phone back then? Well, just
trying to play Jim.
Speaker 3 (39:52):
Yeah, hold on, yeah it's ring. We got nice in Brooklyn.
Speaker 20 (39:57):
Nice was good, my boy, yo, going on, that's a
big win for us, Baby, you represented, that's a big win.
What's up?
Speaker 4 (40:04):
How you doing?
Speaker 20 (40:05):
And what's up?
Speaker 17 (40:05):
And Bob he yeah.
Speaker 20 (40:07):
I just want to I just wanted to be why
is it so difficult for Dallas to make the adjustments
when they see other teams have success against us?
Speaker 7 (40:15):
If we're if.
Speaker 20 (40:16):
We're feared against the tight ends, if we have fear
against tight end while we can't double him and make
everybody play straight up with our new defensive line and
our linebackers.
Speaker 1 (40:25):
Fantastic question, brother.
Speaker 6 (40:26):
I think I think prior, like prior to that, what
happened is is you got to load the box so
heavy because you're so worried about the run that you
ain't got an extra person to go in there and
double anybody.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (40:38):
Me and Brian kind of talked about this a little bit,
and I kind of shouted on our show and I
went on to social media's and mentioned it. I don't
think that this five two look that everybody's talking about,
I don't think that's a look that they're going to
be able to roll out all the time. Because you
want to be able to drop guys back and deal
with you know, coverages and and things like that. I
think the best, the best thing for the cowboys is
to try to deal with the run with six guys.
(41:00):
So now you can put these nickel sets out there
and try to draw more, you know, draw more guys making.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Deal with that.
Speaker 6 (41:04):
But you know what I'm saying, appreciation you nice holding
it down, be safe outdare them squeeze?
Speaker 9 (41:08):
Right, I could understand what you said there.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
I know all these people, all right, I.
Speaker 9 (41:17):
Think we have one last phone call on the line.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
I got two, But here we go, Husky and san Antonio.
Speaker 16 (41:24):
My boy, I don't know what's good, Husky, Hey, guys,
what's going on?
Speaker 4 (41:30):
Good?
Speaker 16 (41:31):
So So, first of all, I'm watching the show, and
I gotta admit, man, I'm kind of nervous. Man, you
guys are like rock stars to me. I always watch
the show, and I really enjoy watching you guys. I've
been doing it for a minute.
Speaker 6 (41:45):
Appreciate you mann't worry about it. We family bro appreciate
you man.
Speaker 16 (41:48):
Yeah, I get that out of the way. And like
I said, I'm a lifelong die hard, so uh and
and and whenever I watch these shows, I put it
I kind of compared to when with your kids, Like
when my son if he does something wrong, I'll get
after him and I but it comes from a place.
It comes from a good place. And that's why I
(42:10):
like to watch you guys because I know you guys
are Cowboy fans like me, and I know you everything
is coming from a good place, and you want the
best for them.
Speaker 17 (42:19):
What do you think?
Speaker 6 (42:20):
I totally agree. We want what's best for the Cowboys.
And as soon as they win and they going to
playoff run and get a Super Bowl, we all gonna
get rich.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
So you ain't lying players.
Speaker 8 (42:29):
Did you know that vouch is actually not a Cowboys fan?
That's a whole persona now he plays here on the show.
Speaker 9 (42:42):
I mean some people do that. We know we know someone.
Did you have a question?
Speaker 1 (42:52):
No, he was just saying that.
Speaker 9 (42:54):
Say, oh is he off the phone?
Speaker 1 (42:55):
We all want what's best for the cowboy. That was
a good quinte.
Speaker 8 (42:57):
Appreciate your husa dude, especially when you and Brian you
know this during your time here, like we work around
these guys. We see how hard they work, how much
time and effort they put in at the end of
the day, regardless of the type of performance that you
guys see, there's a lot of sacrifices and a lot
of things that they have to do as far as
(43:18):
commitment and hours working. So yes, you obviously want them
to be successful and succeed. We get on here and
it's stuff to criticize them because that's just part of
our job. But we know everything it takes, and we
truly admire the amount of work that they do. Sometimes
the end result is not what we want.
Speaker 1 (43:38):
You actually got people in the chat thinking that I'm phony.
That's crazy? Are they saying that that's crazy?
Speaker 4 (43:44):
He I don't know.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
I don't know, so why would you say it if
you don't know? We got one moment I got Lester and.
Speaker 9 (43:52):
What's up and the crew kick.
Speaker 17 (44:00):
Got a comment for Vosh Saints vosh Man for showing
that a little illustration on the new new players of
Quinn and Wilson. That was very educational. I knew about Quinn,
but I didn't know too much about Wilson knew he
was drafted a while ago, but I didn't really know
anything else. But that was very, very helpful.
Speaker 1 (44:22):
I appreciate go ahead, just this one more thing.
Speaker 17 (44:26):
And I just think that, you know, we should stop
drafting these hurt players up high because they can't those
hot those hot picks are potential starters and they can't
help anyway. It's just kind of like, well, you know,
we got them, but you know we can't help right now.
Maybe next year or maybe the end of the year,
but that doesn't help right now. So draft, if you're
gonna draft them, draft them at the end of the
(44:49):
draft or whatever. Go Cowboys. It's all I got. Go Cowboys.
Speaker 1 (44:53):
You ain't lamb a boy. Appreciate your may appreciate you man,
thank you very much.
Speaker 6 (44:56):
Because and you know, I think that's a that's a
two sided sword man, because if Revel come out here
and he's a shut down type character. Now, now me
and Brian get to go back and be like, hey, man,
he was one of the best corners in the draft,
first round pick kind of guy. He got hurt and
he kind of felt a little bit, you know, so
I just won't completely write it off that they need
to stop getting hurt guys because sometimes her guys may
work out. Sean Lee was a hurt guy and he
(45:18):
stayed at her guy. But when he was playing, he
was fantastic.
Speaker 14 (45:20):
For you.
Speaker 8 (45:21):
That was my first love Cowboys Sean Lee and talking
about like these guys that work hard. I remember being
in a valley ranch and every time when we would
be working late, he.
Speaker 9 (45:33):
Was literally the only one left in the building like
it was. It was amazing.
Speaker 8 (45:37):
The amount of hard work and dedication that he put
into the game just sucks injury.
Speaker 9 (45:42):
Thanks get hurt man.
Speaker 8 (45:44):
I appreciate everybody calling. When I said, hey, give notice
to Vach. I don't mean forget about Brian completely.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
I had my dad and the sun.
Speaker 9 (45:54):
I mean no, you know Va.
Speaker 8 (45:56):
We gotta keep him grounded. Oh sometimes he tries to
up there by the clouds.
Speaker 1 (46:01):
You know, we all looked at it again.
Speaker 9 (46:04):
You did it on the ground.
Speaker 6 (46:06):
You did a fantastic job hosting. They can everybody in
the chat just clap it over the check? Can we
get fired in the check because for Chris, Chris did
a fantastic job.
Speaker 1 (46:15):
Can we get a like radios in there?
Speaker 10 (46:17):
Something to like Chris?
Speaker 1 (46:18):
Some microphones and there for appreciate you man appreciate all right.
Speaker 9 (46:21):
Well, oh, before we go really really.
Speaker 6 (46:24):
Fast, Cowboy's gonna beat the hell out of the Raiders.
But it's gonna be like forty two thirty five or something.
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Raiders gonna score.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
This could be a close game. I think Dallas is
gonna win. Give me Dallas twenty six, Raiders twenty three.
Speaker 8 (46:37):
Okay, I have Dallas to thirty two seventeen something around there.
But I think the Cowboys find a way to win
this game, and I hope they do because otherwise I
don't know how we're gonna get through the rest of
the season. But thank you so much everyone who tuned
in for vouch. Lombardi Brian brought us Chris being in
the back I remember see on this ha been. This
has been the break on Dallas Cowboys dot Com Slash Radio.
Speaker 4 (47:01):
This has been a
Speaker 2 (47:02):
Production of Dallascowboys dot Com and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club.
