Speaker 10 (03:53):
But I'm talking about like top three overall. Well, you

A B start.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Wow, there you go.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
Impressive guys, it really is. They weren't button masters, Kyle, No,

Speaker 10 (04:42):

all time.

Speaker 7 (04:47):
Now I want to go play classic.

Speaker 3 (04:50):

Speaker 9 (04:54):
Hey if you want oh yeah, duck Hunts gotta be up.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
If you want to.

Speaker 9 (04:57):
Man, But the gun sometimes, you know what, that's why
you put it on the screen when you get frustrated.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
That's cheat.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
It is a thing, But that's cheating. Put the barrel.

Speaker 7 (05:05):
To get so mad, barrel the glass.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Put the barrel to the glass. It's cheating. But it's
the thing.

Speaker 10 (05:11):
To go to a movie trading company if you don't
play vintage by vintage.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Okay, yeah, I may have to do that.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
I had a Sega Genesis for a long time, Like
that was kind of the first start. Yeah, that was
my starter console and I found it. I found it
at a garage sale or in a state sale or
something in Waco.

Speaker 7 (05:27):
It was a second Genesis.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Like an OG, and it was like five bucks, like
it was unboxed. It was in the box like five bucks.
I don't think it was like the OG like it
was like a red of it all. It was like
the Mini with the Yeah, one of those things. And
I went and played it for ever in high school.
Like I was probably like twelve when I found it,
and I played it from like twelve years old all

(05:49):
the way.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Through high school.

Speaker 9 (05:50):
Listen, if my sister just cleared out the garage back home,
back home Seattle, she just sent me all my n
Cuba games that I was ay and my PlayStation, my
original PlayStation.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
That's cool, yellow, red and white. Grow.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
I already told you guys my story about my OG
PlayStation and how my sister punch.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Out punch Out.

Speaker 10 (06:08):
She's still living somehow. Some might say punch out absolutely.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Mike Tyson's punch Out, Sir. Can you make it top three?
That's like top that's hard. It's hard to start to
do super Mario bros.

Speaker 10 (06:21):
Has to be in. Yeah, that's original. It's hard to
get top five.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
You do like a rush Yeah, you do like a
mount rushboy. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:29):
All right, let's get into some news and notes here,
Cowboys facing the Raiders and according to the injury report. Yeah,
and according to Brian Schottenheimer this morning on one O
five three the Fan, the flagship station to the Dallas Cowboys,
we might not only see Demarve and Overshown.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
Hey he sounds familiar. Hey, we might also see savone
l this week.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (06:55):
So all week I've been playing the odds at fifty
to fifty with Rebel because I was not that high. No,
I said it yesterday, I said fifty, did.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
Say fifty to fifty. I was like twenty fifty to fifty.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
And yeah it's now it's uping like a seventy eight.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
It feels like seventy five to twenty five.

Speaker 10 (07:12):
And favorite Reveel, especially like you mentioned, with their injury
or Revel was a full participant in yesterday's practice.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Was that work full full? Not have he did full
warm ups? Full? No? No? No, no, well he did full.

Speaker 9 (07:24):
Warm ups, but keep going full practice too, full individuals
and then keep going and full teen.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yeah, full team. Was it a walk through?

Speaker 10 (07:30):
No, No, they didn't walk they ran change directions. It
was a ran three change directions as well.

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah. Yeah, there was plenty of that going on as well. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (07:39):
So he was out there, he was doing things, can fighting,
breaking down, hold on, hold.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Nine yards, maybe even the whole ten. I hope he
kept all ten.

Speaker 10 (07:49):
So old Rebel is truting towards taking the field for
the first time in his young NFL career, and for
the Dallas Cowboys, we will still we will. We'll see
how practice goes today with the injury report, and there's
another injury report that needs to come out on Saturday,
because this is a Monday night game, so what comes
out today will not be the final Let's hope that

(08:11):
savone Reveel continues to trend the way he is turning,
because at the beginning of the week, hearing the front
office speak to one oh five three the fan, it
did not sound promising for Reveel when I'm speaking specifically
about Stephen Jones saying that, and I'm not quoting him directly,
but he was intimating there's a good chance that savone
Revel could be inactive on Monday. But The actual quote was,
we'll see if he can if we believe he can

(08:32):
help us against the raiders. If not, then not so.
But he's on the right track now we talk about tomorrow.
On Overshown continues to be on track for his return
to the field age of zero. Pretty big, pretty big news.
You know who else was the full participant?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Who's that? Harry On Winfrey?

Speaker 10 (08:51):
Oh boy, they really are stacking those big bodies in the.

Speaker 3 (08:55):
Middle or yady.

Speaker 10 (08:57):
So let me just okay, so, just to be clear,
Perry Winfrey, he's still in his twenty one day practice
wind so he's still on IR but he's practicing. But
he's a full participant, not limited. So let me let
me make sure I count this out. And please don't
let me forget anybody. So Quinn Williams, Quinn Kennick Clark, ohso, Diggie,
Solomon Thomas, J. Toyer, Perry On Winfred, idiot, Well that's

(09:23):
one hell of a okay, So Perry On Winfrey is
working his way back. So that's good.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
There there are all the guys that are in the
one and three techniques. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's good.

Speaker 10 (09:32):
Now, Solomon Thomas did not participate in yesterday's practice, but
it's it's simply because he was with the rehab group,
still working through that calf injury that he was kind
of battling through pre bye week, so it's still kind
of bothering him post bye week. It is something to
keep an eye on, though, I will say today, if
he's d n P, then we really need to kind
of draw a circle around Solomon Thomas for Monday's availability.

(09:55):
But the extra day does help on top of the
bye week, so we'll see how that goes.

Speaker 9 (09:58):
There's another calf, not talking about cows. That is how
he came into the building. How was that calf doing
at the second level middle linebacker?

Speaker 10 (10:10):
Look, Logan wounds in number fifty five. If you nasty, nay.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
How is that calf doing? It's doing well, and I'll
tell you how much. So because uh do do do
do do do? He's not on the injury you pulled
at all at all, at all, not even listen, that's
not in the least. He's not on there at all.

Speaker 10 (10:32):
Now, I will say this credit to Logan Wilson for
those that don't know, he was battling a calf injury
pre trade from Cincinnati to Dallas. I'm told that the
very next day after he landed in Dallas and he
had the media interview. Very next day, he was on
the field with the rehab group and he was he
was working that he was working that uh, that calf out,

(10:53):
and so that just tells you how excited he is
to be in Dallas, how ready he is to get going.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
And it's working.

Speaker 10 (10:59):
Because like Isaiah, it's helping me point out Logan Wilson
is not intersted on the injury report whatsoever. Now keeping
to the injury report really quickly, your safety unit.

Speaker 3 (11:12):
They're making some progress.

Speaker 10 (11:13):
So Malik Hooker had his twenty one day practice window
activated yesterday. Keep in mind is exactly like Kyle said yesterday,
they have until the twenty first day to make a decision,
but they could easily activate him on Monday. They don't
have to take advantage of the full twenty one days.
Donovan Wilson was also back on the practice field. I'll

(11:33):
be it in the limited capacity, but this is his
first time practicing since being ruled out a couple weeks
or so ago with elbow slash shoulder injury. So you
lose one year Tomas for at least four games with
the migraines. But there's a good chance you get either
one or both of your starting safeties back. So for
depth reasons, if only for depth reasons, you're in better

(11:55):
shape there, You're in better shape. Elijah Clark. Let's keep
it to the safeties. Elijah Clark. When he suffered his
ribs injury or injury to his ribs a couple of
weeks ago, Stephen Jones said that it could be a
couple of weeks.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
It wasn't steven, it might have been shoddy.

Speaker 10 (12:08):
That's holding true because Elijah Clark was also back at
practice yesterday, albeit an unlimited capacity. So your safeties that
returned to practice yesterday after having not practiced for a while,
Elijah Clark, Donovan Wilson, Malie Hooker. So depth wise, you
starting to feel better about those safeties.

Speaker 3 (12:26):
Is Logan Wilson expected to start. I'm going to say yes.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
It's it's probably a game time rotation type of thing, but.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Yes, probably, yes, Yes, My money's on yes. No, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Actually, I still think you'll see a lot of those
other names because but is expectation with him having been
here for what a week and a half now, is
it expectation for him to come in and start at
middle linebacker or.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Here's here's maybe not this week.

Speaker 10 (12:56):
Yeah, here's where I am with that. I think that's
a situation where the words start loses its luster because
it's not a position that you out.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
It's not I think right now.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
No, I think the expectation for him throughout the season
would be understood.

Speaker 10 (13:14):
I just think if Murray starts on here's what I'm
going with this, And if Murray starts on Monday, I
think it's a shortly that That's what I mean, because
they want to see Logan wilson't and they want to
see him a saptually. So there is a chance that
he's stually, there is a chance he starts on Monday.
If not, I think Murray's on the shortly. To answer

(13:35):
that question, So you got a lot of defensive reinforcements
on the way from Monday, some acquired via trade, Quinnin Logan,
others on the way from ir on the injury report, Demo, Revel, Maleague, Donovan, Elijah.
So we'll see help.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Us on the way. Help is help is actually here
really here like here hopped in the back of the truck.

Speaker 10 (14:01):
Yeah, Yeah, hopped in the back of the pickup and sell,
let's go, Let's go.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
He is a Wyoming Cowboy.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
Here he was his name boy did there now he's
now he's back here, Wyoming.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
Cowboy plays for the Cowboys. His nickname is Cowboy. Yeah,
there you go. Here is buddy. Any other news and notes, Josh,
I like those words.

Speaker 10 (14:22):
Uh no, no, not no transactions on yesterday. They're back
on the practice field of course today and uh yeah,
just a lot of positive news.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
On the defensive side of the ball. Isaiah has a question.

Speaker 9 (14:34):
Who are you guys more excited to see that has
not been on the field this year for the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 7 (14:42):
I'm most excited to see.

Speaker 3 (14:44):
That's that's cheating, but it's true.

Speaker 7 (14:47):
The question at the end, he said, he said that
happened taken the field.

Speaker 9 (14:51):
For the Dallas You meant to you meant to wear
it that way, Quinn Williams.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
That's I mean about yourself. That's such a low hanging fruit.

Speaker 9 (14:59):
If you take that, you're more excited to see, Quinn Williams,
and you are to see dem Demarbian overshown. Ah.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
Yes, I'm excited to see Demo.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
But yes, you're saying Williams, there's a picking that's the
best defensive tackle that you know what, maybe had from.

Speaker 10 (15:15):
A from a pure x's and o's capacity fifty one nine,
quinnin from.

Speaker 3 (15:24):
A fifty one where we have a lot.

Speaker 10 (15:26):
Of these, but from I know man, but from a
from the from the element of man. You just know
how hard this this young man has worked to get
back on the field. Absolutely the human element from the
Because I remember there was somebody on this show who asked,
who was the vocal leader on the Cowboys defense?

Speaker 9 (15:47):
Well, it's demo. So are you saying, Quinn? Are you
saying demo? You know what, I'm trying to put this
in different categories that the more I hear myself.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Talk, I'm going demo. There you go. That's okay, Just excited,
ain't we? Mom?

Speaker 7 (16:04):
That doesn't sound like it's with the chest a little bit.

Speaker 10 (16:06):
Now, that's because man, I am. I am so excited
to see what about you.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
I'm I'm more excited to see Quinn. I'm scared for demon.
Don't do that. I don't hear that.

Speaker 9 (16:16):
I my guy, am scared for look about here, don't
do that. This is coming from somebody who's had multiple interests.
I'm I'm nervous for him. I am nervous for him.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
Okay, but now all of them, I'm not nervous. It
is what it is. It's reality. He's nervous. He's not
gonna think about it. He's gonna try his best to
not think about it.

Speaker 10 (16:32):
He's not nervous. Yeah, he wasn't nervous coming after coming
out of the first one. I'm telling you he's that.
That's how It's just his demeanors. I get his mindseted,
like he's just gonna go play. It is what it's
gonna That's what he was able to hit the bend
running after his first one.

Speaker 9 (16:45):
It's gonna be what it's gonna be. But it doesn't
change my nerves for him. I am more excited. Yeah,
get the bubbles. I am excited to see Quinny. I'm
really excited to see Quinning because I want to see
teams be deterred from running the ball. Really, because I've
said it many times, that was.

Speaker 7 (17:05):
The whole point on getting a big defensive tackleing.

Speaker 3 (17:09):
H I want to take away one element.

Speaker 9 (17:10):
But also internal pressure against passing teams sucks, like you
can't step up, Like if every team can send their
defensive ends to run the hoop. I can put my
both of my defensive ends and nine techniques and say
run to the the up shoulder and run to the
nine yard mark in the backfield and run around the quarterback.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Right, what's the quarterback going to do? Step up? Right?
But when you have two guys that could push the pocket,
where you're going? Where are you going backwards?

Speaker 9 (17:38):
You know what I'm saying. So like, that's why I
was excited. So, yeah, that was gonna be the help
of the passing game. But yet, obviously the running game.
I don't want you to be able to just line
up and run straight. So if I can't line up
and run straight, then I have to run zone to
the outside right outside zone? Are all of our linebackers
all could run and hit every single one of them? Yeah,
and our linebackers are not that bad. They're really not

(17:58):
good linebackers. Said that, but what there be asked to do? Now,
what they were being asked to do with what they
had in front of them, it was unrealistic. Even like
even Murray, Murray is a freaking tackling machine.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Was he reading the wrong hole? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (18:11):
They were playing peekable because there's three hundred pounds coming
at him at door A or door B. You know,
like nobody's running down the middle of a freaking lineman. Right,
So you pick one side, sometimes you picked wrong. And
that's what was going on with all the linebackers. They
were all choosing wrong holes at times, and it was
glaring because they might be right seventy percent of the time,
but that thirty percent turns into fifteen twenty plus yard runs, right,
So it stands out more so. This linebacker corps is

(18:34):
not as bad as people make it out to be.
And you're about to see how good they are collectively.
But all of them as about to be real nasty work.

Speaker 3 (18:41):
I don't know how they're all gonna get on the field.

Speaker 10 (18:42):
I'm gonna love it real quick because I know we're
about to go to break. I'm kind of seeing this
in the chest also shouts out to y'all because y'all
definitely know ball. We see some of the suggestions for
the nes for the games. Good stuff, good stuff, good stuff.
But also we did not block Milvio.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I already put that in there.

Speaker 10 (18:56):
Yeah, we didn't block Melvin, So maybe he's just absent
from class today, I guess, but yeah, no, we are.

Speaker 3 (19:03):
We are all fanily.

Speaker 9 (19:04):
It could have been another show though we yeah maybe yeah,
we speak French here.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
We did all right.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
When we come back here on Talking Cowboys, We've got
no get you popcorn ready today.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
I know everybody's sad about it.

Speaker 7 (19:17):
Including us. It's unfortunate. However, we will do a little
over under.

Speaker 4 (19:22):
We've done this before where we're gonna take some of
the Vegas prop bets and we're just gonna see what
we think on whether or not they're gonna go over.
They're going to go under this week, and how these
different players are going to be utilized in that Cowboys
Raiders matchup coming up this Monday night.

Speaker 7 (19:37):
More Talking Cowboys right after this.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
Wow? Isn't it nice not having to ask?

Speaker 1 (20:52):
We think so.

How's it going. You see that Cowboys game? Oh, I watched.
I've been seeing some good things totally. They have some talent.
You have some great talent, and they got some fight hoping.

Speaker 1 (21:19):
This is the year me too.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
Oh, I'm Cody. By the way, I'm Travis. Nice to
meet you. Travis. Go, Cowboys Go.

Speaker 10 (21:26):
Cowboys make a new friend based solely on their shirt choice.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
What would you like the power to do?

Speaker 10 (21:32):
Bank of America the official bank of the Dallas Cowboys
Corpyright twenty twenty five.

Speaker 3 (21:36):
Bank of America Corporation.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
To Talking Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
Backyard Talking Cowboys, presented by Black Rifle Coffee Company. Where're Cowboys?
Geared to a Black Rifle Coffee location on game Day
which is Monday, and get your ten off your entire
order ten and them thing. Please tell them Talking Cowboys
send you because yeah, we love that.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
The more you spend, the more you say it's true.
That's good, that's good. It is. That's how percentages work.
There you go.

Speaker 7 (22:25):
As a matter of fact, that's that Washington math class helping.

Speaker 3 (22:27):
That might have been George Washington right there.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Oh, very nice, George Washington high All right, all right,
let's get into some over unders here since we don't
have any, I don't bet Kyle exactly.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
And that's the thing.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
This is not a gambling segment and we are not
responsible on how you spend your money or this, nor
is this supposed to be any sort of advice whether
or not to spend your money, where.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
To do it, or we read the league memos that
they send out.

Speaker 4 (22:56):
This is just for pure statistical analysis on what is
happening on.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
The mandatory lessons.

Speaker 11 (23:02):
That we have.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Yes, the Ninja cold, Ninja calls and ninjeal yeah it's
ninja jail.

Speaker 9 (23:09):
Yeah, we have to do them for your throw double up.
Bamber tells me it doesn't that way, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
It doesn't overlap a little. Now that's a bummer. Sounds
like Double Jeopardy.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
But I've got some some uh some over under odds
through the week.

Speaker 7 (23:27):
Let's start with the receiving numbers, shall we. There's some really.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Good wide receivers catchers in this match.

Speaker 7 (23:33):
Level start with Ceedee Lamb.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
They're giving him eighty six and a half over under
for CD Lamb this week.

Speaker 7 (23:40):
Patrick will start with you over over eighty six.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
And a half.

Speaker 10 (23:44):
That's a big game, it is, and I think it's
it's time for one for him. Obviously he missed time
with the high ankle spraying, and then he came back,
and you know the Cowboys offense. When he came back,
the offense was suffering so many self inflicted wounds that
they couldn't really get involved. So I think coming out
of the by, you're going to see a concerted effort
to get CD targets early and often to get him in.

Speaker 9 (24:08):
This is what I don't understand about the tag when
your head, my friend, there's what I don't understand.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
A gambling got it? We gotta keep you right? Yeah,
So I've never gambled, so I really don't understand this oddsa.

Speaker 9 (24:18):
Okay, I understand how how what is it eighty six
and a half? So you get six and a half? Okay,
so you don't.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
That's the point is it's supposed to split the yard
marker in half so that you avoid a push because
if you if you end up tying the stat then
both people, both parties get their money back, all right.
So they they put the half in there just because
just because they don't want one party.

Speaker 7 (24:40):
To get their money back. They want to be able to.

Speaker 3 (24:41):
Say, there you go. One side win. We learned something
every day. There you go. I think he's gonna get
eighty six yards. So he's going about eighty seven. I
was about to say, so that means he's going over.
He's going over, going over. Just a hair a hair
a hair all right. I think he gets a hundred. Ooh,
you're going bold.

Speaker 10 (24:58):
I think he gets a hundred. We're getting the popcorn
right in honor of Josh, who's already out in Vegas.
Stay out of the casinos, gone and took walking.

Speaker 9 (25:08):
B spors book either and walk through cell phone pinging,
don't even walk through the triangulating go outside. But no,
I think I'm going to say, with my chest Bowl prediction,
I think CD is gets one hundred with at least
one Toddy because George Pickings continue his no touchdown streak
with CD land back in the fourth.

Speaker 3 (25:27):
I think he gets one. I just don't think both
get one hundred yards. Yeah, no, he doesn't score with
CD's in the game. I know that's like your hole.
You said this before, Man, it stays true. I don't believe.
So when did CD get back?

Speaker 10 (25:39):
I think you're wrong. I mean you're right about the streak.
I think I think you're going to be I think,
I hope that I'm wrong. I think it gets snapped.

Speaker 9 (25:47):
I don't like those words. I don't like those I
think it's true. CD came back and George, you're right,
he has not scorts and he had what six touchdowns time?
Ye had six touchdowns when CD was gone, and then
CD came back and it just nothing.

Speaker 10 (26:00):
I don't think they both get a hundred yards, but
I think they both get a touchdown.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Well, George is next on this list, and he is
listed at sixty four and a half or hey, sixty
four and.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
A half for George Pickens. Oh oh man.

Speaker 10 (26:16):
That seems so low though, But you know what, I'll
take the I'll take the under on that one. Yeah,
I'm still giving him a touchdown, but.

Speaker 3 (26:21):
I'll take down maybe like fifty yards in a tub. Yeah,
let's do it something like that. That'd be a fine day. Yeah,
okay with that over? Why they're both going over for you? Over?
They would have both gone over these totals last week
because they both had over eighty yards.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
You either get to a hundred, but they both Okay, Now,
you sound like Daz Bryan on Pre Game Live.

Speaker 10 (26:40):
A couple of weeks ago, I was near my what
was that with your chest? Please, yes, please, with your chest.
I was drinking black Rifle coffee. Yeah, sure, he was
drinking the cup. It was mostly postgame one of that
was a problem that.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
All right, brock Bowers on the other side of the
Bowers seventy and a half.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, he'll have more than that. Oh, Isaiah thinks it's
gonna be a high scoring game. Nope, just a lot
of catches.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Isaiah's going over over over, and then we're gonna get to,
like the prediction segment. In the next segment, he's going
to be like seventeen to fourteen.

Speaker 9 (27:14):
We know it's not gonna be a defensive game for
them because they're they ran one coverage.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Because their defense is what try there, I'm.

Speaker 10 (27:21):
Thinking seventy four and a half, seventy seven and a half. Oh, seventy,
dam I think you have seventy five. I'll go over,
think seventy.

Speaker 3 (27:30):
We're gonna go under.

Speaker 7 (27:31):
That has done a pretty nice job of limiting opposing
tight ends.

Speaker 9 (27:34):
You Abralether put him in category over that ball, seventy seventy,
your brother, you're putting him in a category with the
rest of the leagues tight ends.

Speaker 7 (27:41):
You're right, he's better than all of them.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
But they did shut down two of the other better
tight ends in the league right now, Trede McBride.

Speaker 10 (27:50):
And I'm not going to say because they're going to say, well,
I'm just as because Tucker craft Uga.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
So I'm gonna let you say, oh.

Speaker 7 (27:55):
Yeah, Kaise, he's a dog. Yeah, I'm not right. No,
you know this is a prediction.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
Seventy five lines up us everywhere. Is this a show? Bet?
He lines up everywhere.

Speaker 7 (28:05):
You sound extremely confident.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
That black Bower is going to have over seventy yards. Yes,
do you want to you want to make a show.

Speaker 7 (28:10):
Bet out of it?

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Do you want some hot sauce? I don't want hot sauce?
Oh why not?

Speaker 7 (28:14):
You're I think that'd be great. No, it's great for content.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
You're confident, Kyle, great for content. I'm confident. We'll think
of something, think of something. Why not? If you're not
going to have to suffer the consequences, why not bet it?

Speaker 7 (28:25):
We can, we can find a different consequence. I'm not
doing that.

Speaker 9 (28:28):
That's how confident I am. I don't want my stomach
on fire. Obviously you don't either.

Speaker 7 (28:34):
All right, or other parts as we're thinking about it,
give us suggestions. What should we do for the bet?
In the chat currents.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Dak Prescott two fifty four and a half over okay.

Speaker 10 (28:46):
Yeah, let me see fifty twenty seven, So would I
say one hundred?

Speaker 3 (28:51):
So then if I give you carry the three.

Speaker 10 (28:55):
Jake Ferguson thanks to three hundred yard game per day
three twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (29:00):
Yeah, I think it's three hundred yards going over. I
think I'll go over there too. Ashton gent sixty three
and a half under.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Under sixty three and a half for Genty, his name's Quinn.

Speaker 3 (29:15):
And the other his name's Kenny.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
If Dallas wins and Ashton Genty gets under that, we're
coming in here and it's gonna.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Be able listen party on Tuesday.

Speaker 10 (29:23):
Quinnin party plus Kenny, and then you have the rotation
of Osa and Sally, and then you'll have some five
man fronts. And then now you have a linebacker Cores.
We'll see if demos on a pitch count or not.
Because Shotty said that it's possible that he could be,
but he also said it's possible he could he could
play the whole game. We'll see, but Nonetheless, Demo will
be out there playing with his hair on fire. You'll

(29:43):
see some Logan Wilson, a good bit of Logan Wilson
as well. So, yeah, Man Ashton, for as talented as
he is, and be not mistaken, he's extremely talented. His
offensive line is what is it?

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Try it? I'm taking the under.

Speaker 9 (30:00):
I'm torn on this one. I think that he can
have at least one breakout run.

Speaker 3 (30:05):
Oh I'll go under under first under of the day
m under.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
Okay, because of the same reason, just slowing him down
up front.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
Yeah, is his offensive line is just not great. Yeah.
In the Running Game GB.

Speaker 7 (30:26):
Javonte Williams seventy seven and a half.

Speaker 3 (30:31):
Taking the over.

Speaker 10 (30:31):
You know why, because I believe in Javante. Javonte Williams
and the Russian attack gets worked back on track. Offensive
line starts to jail speaking of it. We're not buying
it this time, but we'll reveal the trick later in
another show. But yeah, I think Javonte Williams and the
Running Russian Attack gets back online. And that's because I

(30:53):
believe the line gets back to doing you know that
they can do.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
They've now had a seventy seven, they've now had half full.

Speaker 10 (31:00):
Yeah, they've now had a full week to react to
make Cooper beebe into the starting lineup.

Speaker 3 (31:05):
I will put this out there though.

Speaker 10 (31:07):
Shoty said yesterday there's an open competition at right tackle.

Speaker 4 (31:11):
Oh he did put that out there. Do we expect
to change there this way? He was on notice.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Yeez.

Speaker 10 (31:19):
It's funny because the timing of that being said yesterday
after we sat here on talking Cowboys and we talked
about if you're if you're going to go with Terry Steele,
if you feel he's the future, stick with that for
continuity and stop with the half and half. If not,
then you put Thomas saying and stop put the half
in half. And a few hours later here's Shotty saying
there's an open competition.

Speaker 3 (31:38):
At right tackle.

Speaker 10 (31:39):
Ouch, we shall see how that just a little little
bit of spice for the fanomily to discuss.

Speaker 7 (31:45):
Competition every day?

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Yeah, beat every day and I'm with it. That's what
they said in camp. It's funny that you.

Speaker 9 (31:51):
Said seventy seven because I didn't even hear you say
seventy seven and a half, but in my head I
had him at seventy eight yards.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
And it means you think it's a pretty good line.
Seventy eight and two touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Pretty good stat Okay, I'll go I'll go under, but
not by much. I think it'll get seventy but I
don't think he'll get seventy seven.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
We'll see see how.

Speaker 10 (32:08):
Eighty eight I'm going price. We won't do it like
the price, right the greatest running backs.

Speaker 3 (32:14):
If you say seventy nine, I'm saying eighty.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Yeah, come on down, Patrick, No see Walker all right?

Speaker 7 (32:23):
Eight eight eight eight five five two two nine seven.

Speaker 4 (32:26):
Give us a call right now eight eight eight.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
Eight five five two two nine seven.

Speaker 4 (32:30):
If you want to be a part of our Pickham
segment coming up.

Speaker 7 (32:34):
On the other side of the break.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
We'll get a Beamer's bullets bullets in Before that, though,
we gotta get some college football minute because it's a
big one for the Dogs. Skip this not the Washington
Huskies dogs, but it's a big one for Georgia this week.

Speaker 3 (32:48):
It is the Cheese. So listen, listen, listen.

Speaker 10 (32:52):
Handled Mississippi State, a team that has been giving other
teams hell to.

Speaker 3 (32:56):
Try to defeat. I watched that happen.

Speaker 10 (32:58):
Nice statement winning against Mississippi State on the road. Nonetheless,
now we're back at Sanford between the hedges, and we're
welcoming those Horns.

Speaker 7 (33:08):
Who should have had Tommy in here today just for this.

Speaker 10 (33:11):
Yeah, so I could remind him about the to two
record that they have in US since they've joined the SEC,
one of those including the SEC championship.

Speaker 3 (33:21):
So let's keep that street going.

Speaker 10 (33:23):
Kirby Gunner, Stockton, Oscar delp Nate Fraser flipping on the
off defensive side of the ball. Just get at those guys.
We're ranked number five, we only have one loss. Protect home,
hunker down, Harry Dogs.

Speaker 9 (33:39):
Harry Dogs, Harry Dogs. Interesting, which you guy? Washington, my dogs.
I don't know what the heck they're doing. They lost
in Wisconsin. They took the cheese. Anyways, they lost thirteen
to ten Purdue versus Washington boiler Makers. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Washington.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
Ten Mattress Yay. Sorry, what's your record?

Speaker 9 (34:00):
It doesn't matter what is, It doesn't.

Speaker 3 (34:03):
Doesn't Okay, Well back to the good stuff.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Yeah, how about the eight and one North baby got
u a b this week? Uh, an opportunity to stay
in the college football playoff hunt. They've got a shot.
They've got like a thirty percent chance right now to
make the College football playoffs. That's really so, which is
insane for Texas one of the top offenses in the country.

(34:27):
Is we talked about throughout Usay.

Speaker 3 (34:30):

Game will start with the Commanders at the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Stinker game.

Speaker 7 (40:08):
That game is in Madrid, by the way.

Speaker 4 (40:10):
That game is in Madrid, home of Real Madrid, where
there's a lot more better football played on a constant
basis than the football you will see this weekend at
the Commanders and the Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (40:24):
You're taking the Dolphins.

Speaker 9 (40:26):
Yeah, okay, he's playing for his career, for his job
right now.

Speaker 3 (40:29):
McDaniels or two McDaniel or both both. I'm not picking
the Commanders, man, Dolphins, I'm gonna take I'm gonna take
Miami there too, Randy.

Speaker 14 (40:39):
A good thing this game is really early, so we
don't have to watch it. Hey, I'm gonna say Miami.

Speaker 15 (40:45):
All right, Chargers at Jaguars, Wow, Chargers in Jacksonville, Chargers,
let me get the let me get the fighting jay loose.

Speaker 3 (40:57):
Yeah, taking the Jags. I'm gonna take Ahead Bolts. Yeah,
give me lads.

Speaker 9 (41:03):
I want a good lad on my Tai mcconckey.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
You're not a Scottish, I'm not at all, bro, Randy.

Speaker 14 (41:16):
I'm gonna go Chargers. It'll help my fantasy team.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
Hey, Seahawks at the Ram you know my answer?

Speaker 3 (41:23):
Yeah, what's your answer?

Speaker 9 (41:24):
One heck of a game, though, I'll be watching two
of the better teams in the NBA the l Yeah, true,
I agree, Seahawks, it's gonna be one heck of a game.

Speaker 3 (41:32):
Give me the Rams at home.

Speaker 10 (41:36):
Rams offense looks just despicable, man, and they're at home.

Speaker 16 (41:39):
I'm taking Italy, oh like despicable and a good way,
a good way, and they just look like they can't
be stopped. Now, if there's any team that can do it,
it would be Seattle. Yes, but it's the home field
advantage that gives me to tilt towards the Rams.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
All right, Uh, Randy, what you got.

Speaker 14 (41:56):
Based on the Rams have played so far this year,
I haven't played a team that great, and so I
think I'm gonna go with Seattle.

Speaker 4 (42:02):
That another divisional battle here, Chiefs at mile highe taking
on the Broncos. Give me the Denver Broncos to finally
get that monkey off their back and beat the Chiefs.
And they're gonna do it by multiple scores.

Speaker 3 (42:20):
I think they win that game. Big, you're out your mind.
They're gonna beat that monkey. He thinks, Wait, what, I'm sorry,
excuse me? Said what? Pardon? I'm gonna make sure I
want everybody who goes. Isaiah said that, I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (42:33):
What I just I don't want any consion here.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
Isaiah wants to say something, and that is what he said.

Speaker 9 (42:41):
Kyle say they can count her back, and I said, no,
they're gonna that monkey is not.

Speaker 3 (42:45):
Gonna No, you said you said that other thing. You
said that other thing, Isaiah said it. I'm just just
making it.

Speaker 9 (42:55):
Anyways, Cassidy, Chiefs are gonna win. They are locked and loaded.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
Bro for getting called the principal's office.

Speaker 10 (43:02):
Listen, Oh man, that's I'm I'm just going to keep
it short, please, Chiefs okay, Randy.

Speaker 14 (43:13):
Oh wow? That yeah, Yeah, I'm in Kansas stranded by
Chiefs fans. So I'm going Broncos just to see the
Chiefs fans suffer.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
I like, get a little pettiness from Randy.

Speaker 9 (43:24):
That's our family to take a ail to separate these
wins and losses from it.

Speaker 4 (43:29):
All right, Lions at the Eagles speaking of a hacking,
Oh all game, let's got a really good one this
one Sunday night.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
What you got Lions at Eagles? Me, I know what
you're going. I think the Lions blow the doors off.

Speaker 10 (43:44):
I mean, look at the Eagles have not shown me
that they can be explosive on a consistent basis.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
If at all this season.

Speaker 10 (43:54):
I can appreciate what they did against the Green Bay
Packers and kind of slowing them down, shutting them out
from of the game. Packers and the Lions offenses are
two different things, my friend. I think the Lions absolutely
ripped the wings off those.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
It's questionable. I'm going with yes on that. I'm gonna go.

Speaker 4 (44:16):
I'm gonna go Detroit, But I don't think it's gonna
be a doors blown off sort of game.

Speaker 3 (44:19):
I think it's gonna be a good game. Detroit is
gonna win that.

Speaker 10 (44:22):
I just feel like it's it's past time for the
Eagles to have the doors.

Speaker 3 (44:25):
I think that doesn't maybe so even the Lions.

Speaker 9 (44:29):
I want to go with the Lions, Bro, But Howie, Howie,
he's got some dark Malli.

Speaker 3 (44:36):
Bro, he's with the Smurfs. Man. I gotta go. I
gotta go with the Eagles.

Speaker 9 (44:41):
I don't want to, obviously, I want them to lose
for our sake, but heart yeah, bro, Bro, he's a
Jedi over there, So I have to go with the Eagles.
I don't want to, but I'm not losing my record
because of it, all right.

Speaker 7 (44:54):
Randy, I gotta go Detroit.

Speaker 3 (44:57):
Doing with Detroit?

Speaker 7 (44:58):
All Right, here's the one we've been waiting for.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
Monday Night football seven to fifteen Central time, kickoff on
ESPN and ABC. Cowboys making their first regular season trip
ever to Las Vegas. They're taking on the Raiders on
Monday Night. Randy will start with you give us a
prediction and a score.

Speaker 7 (45:17):
Cowboys Raiders?

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Who you got?

Speaker 14 (45:19):
This is gonna be a get right game for the Boys,
even though they always are the get right game. So
I'm gonna say Cowboys thirty seven to.

Speaker 4 (45:26):
Twenty three, thirty seven to twenty three, Randy we appreciate
you listening all the way from Kansas.

Speaker 7 (45:32):
Keep wrapping Cowboys fans out there. We appreciate you as always.

Speaker 14 (45:36):
Thank you have a good weekend.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
All right?

Speaker 10 (45:37):
There he goes part that boy, Yep, that's how I
feel about his prediction. Well, I do think this is
a get right game for the Cowboys, especially with the
reinforcements that are gonna be on the field for their
defensive side of the ball. I think the offense gets
back to doing what they need to do. I think
they had to buy a week to tweak and fix
whatever they needed to fix an address. I'm taking the

(45:59):
Cowboys in this one and pretty big. I think thirty
four to seventeen does it for me? Cowboys thirty four
to seventeen against the Raiders. Okay, I got forty one
thirteen Cowboys. Another burger, forty burger, another burger? Yeah, okay,
thirty you hear that burger.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
You did say a lot of overs in that last segment.

Speaker 9 (46:16):
Mac knows what the defense is showing when he steps
out line of screaming, and they show the same thing
every time.

Speaker 3 (46:20):
It's one of three coverages.

Speaker 9 (46:22):
One of them majority is seven percent at a time,
it's not gonna be hard to decipher.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
It just comes down to execution. What was your score again,
thirty four to seventeen.

Speaker 4 (46:29):
Mine was like right around I was going to do
thirty three to twenty. Yeah, so I'm going to say
thirty three twenty and we're right there in the same boat.
I think Dallas wins the game. I think they control possession.
I think they control the game. I think the defense
looks better but not perfect, and I think there's there's
a chance for the Raiders to try and make it
close late, but Dallas just gets it done and the

(46:49):
offense is back to clicking against a defense that.

Speaker 3 (46:52):
Looks like this.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
So I am going to predict Cowboys winning at thirty
three to twenty is our score.

Speaker 7 (46:57):
By the way, my mom, no monk business.

Speaker 4 (47:00):
My mom is texting, uh texted, and she said you
were not robbed of your childhood.

Speaker 7 (47:05):
Those were money PlayStation box, which is true, mom. They fantastic.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
You know, we were just saying had he been brought in,
they just sooner.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
They think I needed to play these classic video games.

Speaker 3 (47:19):
Have you ever played have you ever played Telephone?

Speaker 4 (47:22):
Like no, with the cups and yeah, like the cups
and like like a kindergarten class.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
Yeah yeah, or you like.

Speaker 9 (47:28):
You also play, probably play with Dixie cups or something.

Speaker 3 (47:31):
You think I'm that booty. No even what you think
had the good cups for the other.

Speaker 10 (47:40):
Barely cyrophone shouts out to everybody. I'm telling you our
family knows ball. People talking about Turbo Graphics sixteen and Dreamcast.

Speaker 3 (47:50):
Let's not forget Dreamcast is Golden Castles.

Speaker 10 (47:52):
There's a lot of consoles out there, Neo Geo, Panasonic
three d oh, which was a flop.

Speaker 3 (47:58):
By the way, you're just.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Not don't know what the hell I'm talking about those
last few Now, no Dreamcast, I don't know those.

Speaker 3 (48:04):
Last coups Sonical and Dreamcasts and Golden Yeah, I never
really got any dream Cast. What I know you were busy.

Speaker 7 (48:12):
That doesn't for us. Here on talking classic video games.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
