In association with the Elmwood Trading Company this week, we spoke with the man who not only arranges all of our golf interviews, but is also responsible for arranging a number of charity golf events throughout Canterbury and taking groups on golfing holidays around the world.

The future of golf is changing quickly. 

Simulators can now be built directly into homes, or better yet, a full equipped shed with all the bells and whistles can be constructed for avid fans of the sport. 

Matt Blackbourn from Premium Golf Simulators spoke with Lesley about this exciting development, in association with the Elmwood Trading Company.

Back and bigger than ever, LIV Golf had a record turnout for its Adelaide tournament. 

With over 94,000 spectators for the event, 13 teams, and 51 players, it was a massive weekend for the company. 

Performance 54 was the company charged with organising the event, Managing Director Nick Haslam joining Lesley Murdoch to discuss how it all played out, and the chances of LIV Golf making it to New Zeal...

Canterbury Golf is taking hold of the season finale event for the 2024 CGI Order of Metit. 

The event will be held at the Clearwater Golf Club, the cream of the Canterbury Golf on display across a range of divisions.

After 103 years of outdoor play, Christchurch netball is heading indoors. 

Free from the biting winter elements, the brand-new netball centre at Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub will welcome players of all grades and skill.

Continuing a longstanding tradition, Easter weekend is seeing golf tournaments held all over the country. 

At the Russley Golf Club, Saturday and Sunday the Te Waipounamu (South Island) Māori Golf Tournament is being staged with over 100 players taking part.

Big news late last night that Chief Executive Sir Russell Coutts is pulling future SailGP events out from underneath Christchurch's feet.

This came as a massive surprise to many, especially to Ōtautahi Mayor Phil Mauger who spoke with Lesley Murdoch on Canterbury's All Sports Breakfas.
