After ten years coaching the Canterbury women's football team Alana Gunn is hanging up her coaching book.
Gunny, as she's affectionately called, has been at the helm during a very successful period for Canterbury women's football, and has overseen the development of many young women that are now playing at higher levels.
Gunny is an advocate for young women experiencing life away from Christchurch and encourages her young charges to "spread their wings".
She spoke with Lesley on the All Sport Breakfast Canterbury.
