Speaker 1 (00:00):
Previously on your morning show with Michael del.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Chruno, always revealing, often entertaining.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
It's time and eight minutes after the hour for your Sounds.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Of the dam all and everybody look alone. Look, you've
just gotta try harder, not for suck.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
After the opportunity for a brief pacivious lesson.

Speaker 5 (00:19):
Perhaps you'd like to be alone with the ratly deteriorating
mental condition.

Speaker 6 (00:23):
Politics.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
I don't know us.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Obviously, John Decker's going to join us next half hour.
We'll talk more about the signal leak didn't get off
to a great start in the morning, but by mid afternoon,
the President took control with the media in the cabinet
chamber with his entire cabinet around him, and discussed the
signal breach.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Here's how it sounded. A signal to communicate from senior
ficial Well, I don't know what. I don't know anything
about signal.

Speaker 5 (00:52):
I wasn't involved in this, but I just turned about
it and I hear it's used by a lot of groups.
It's used by the media, it's used by a lot
of the military, and I think successfully, but sometimes somebody
can get onto those things. That's one of the prices
you pay when you're not sitting in the situation room

(01:12):
with no phones on, which is always the best, Franchny.

Speaker 6 (01:15):
But.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
The best is to be there. In fact, oftentimes I've
been in the infectious Last week, I was in the
situation room with something very important and we had a
couple of people hooked up by line, and I said,
cancel the line, sorry, fellas. What you do is we'll
tell you all about the meeting, because I know people
do get on those lines, whether it's signal or anything else.

Speaker 7 (01:36):
Do you think that Mike Waltz made a mistake and
does he need to apologize.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
No, I don't think he should apologize. I think he's
doing his best. It's equipment and technology that's not perfect,
and probably he won't be using it again, at least not, sir.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I agree with you.

Speaker 6 (01:57):
Let's get everybody in the room whenever, whatevers.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So look, obviously a mistake was made, nobody's downplaying that,
and somebody should get to the bottom of the who
made the mistake to ensure that it never happens again.
But if the goal was to somehow get this to
blow up and get hag Set to resign or the
president to demand his resident.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
That didn't work. If this was to distract you.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
From the progress being made in negotiating peace between Russia
and Ukraine, it may have temporarily. But the big conversation
that we had revolves around Goldberg in the Atlantic and
how they got on there. Was it just a coincidence
or is there a mole in the midst and that
needs to be dusted out. The Republicans have been famous

(02:47):
for whenever they get on a real roll scandal derailing
them or on contra weapons of mass destruction Watergate. It's
not the mistake as much as the response to the mistake.
I did not like how things felt early in the
morning yesterday with Hegcess saying.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
There's no way he was on that call.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Make him prove it, unless they're just trying to, you know,
bring out into the open who really was, because we
don't even know if it was Goldberg or if somebody
gave it to Goldberg.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
But Goldberg is revealed for what Goldberg is.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Even if he was accidentally on that call, who would
stay on it and who wouldn't get off immediately and
acknowledge they were acidentally on it in case anybody else
is on it that shouldn't be who wouldn't put country first,
let alone stay on it, take pictures and try to
use it to an embarrassed administration. But to watch a

(03:46):
president get out in front because remember the lesson of Watergate,
the cover up is what led to the resignation, not
the break in. The president gets out in front of it,
and a United force stand behind his cabinet and then
ensures that it's not going to happen again, and it's
going to be learned from. That was a good afternoon today.

(04:07):
We need a good day finding out who really made
this mistake under walls. Our senior contributor David Snatti was
not as thrilled with Mike Waltz his performance on Laura
ingram as I was the president's performance in the cabinet room.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And here's how he sounded.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Neil Chat national security advisor, Mike Wallat's advisor, Waltz, thank
you for joining us tonight. The President expressed complete confidence
in you today and his entire cabinet. But how did
a Trump hating editor of The Atlantic end up on
your signal?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Chat?

Speaker 6 (04:40):
You know, Laura, I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but of
all the people out there somehow this guy who has
lied about the president, who has lied to gold Star families,
lied to their attorneys, and gone to Russia hoax, gone
to just all kinds of links to lie and smear

(05:02):
the President of the United States, and he's the one
that somehow gets on somebody's contact and then gets sucked
into this group. Is someone in your intel Is someone
in your intel team trying to cause trouble here, because
that's the scuttle about out there.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
That way.

Speaker 6 (05:16):
We have people, We have people. No, Look, this was
this is a great group. The president has a great team.
This is not first Oh, your team. I'm not talking
about the other president. No, no, no, these were principles and
a couple and a couple of staff that we're coordinating
as you saw, having a policy discussions as we went forward,
and then just in the days before what was an

(05:37):
incredible strike. Not only did we take out people that
the Biden team never could that we took out headquarters missile.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
That's not I mean this to David Snati's point, this
is way you get out in front. Now it's a mistake.
You signal you're going to find out how it happened
and make sure it never happens again. You don't do
counter narrative, so you know, long and short sounds the day.
I love the way the President handled it. I still
don't love the way Mike Watz is handling it either,

(06:08):
Maxine Waters. Democrats are struggling for a brand, a rebrand,
a pivot, if you will, But all the wrong people
are talking like Maxine Waters. Remember I shared with you
this morning, three quarters of the American people virtually two

(06:32):
thirds for sure and above, support the president getting rid
of Venezuelan gang members. Maxine Waters is making it about
deporting the first Lady of the United States, Beckie?

Speaker 8 (06:45):
Was this good cooking so closely to find those who
were born here and their parents were undocumented might be
out of person That get Millennia. We don't know whether
or not into my document. And maybe we'd better just
take a look.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
And maybe you should just keep talking.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
And if you think the old is out of touch,
so is a young Here's Jasmine Crockett making fun of
a governor who lives in a wheelchair. We always played
the song how Low can You Go? I never thought
they'd get this low this fast.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
Y'all know we got governor hot wheels down there, come
on now, and the.

Speaker 9 (07:37):
Only thing hot about him is that he is a
hot mess.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Honey. I mean, how low can you go? I've fallen
and I can't get up.

Speaker 3 (07:50):
We had an interesting discussion is this really an issue
of rebranding. There's a lot of Democrats who are going
to be seeking re election in the House in districts
down Trump carried in the previous election. We can only
imagine by how much more he'll carry the districts in
approval rating by the time the mid term takes place.

(08:10):
And they're saying, you got to rebrand this party. I
keep reminding you it's not a rebrand. It's their worldview
that is flawed. It is their very party platform that
is flawed. It is their policy stances, issue by issue
that are flawed and have failed and exposed. Everybody sees that.

(08:35):
Everybody gets it. It's not a rebrand. It's a repentance
that would be necessary, and that's going to be very
difficult when the Maxine Waters and the Crocketts and the others,
and the aocs and the Bernie Sanders are all fighting
to take over the party.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
They couldn't do it. If they could do it, and
they can't do it without repenting.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Almost get a little sick of the same interview over
and over again with Stephen as Smith.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
This time it was Megan Kelly.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Listen, because the Democrats desperately need somebody with charisma, personality,
strong views and smarts who maybe isn't a partisan hack.
That's all you to step in and say, why is.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
The right always propping this guy up? Is it just
to shamelessly make the point that the party is in disarray?
Are they really taken by Steven A.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Smith? I mean, at the end of the day, Steven A.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
Smith doesn't share their worldview, doesn't share their platform, doesn't
share their policy views. And if what you're saying is
authentic and you think he's their best bet of winning,
why would you be promoting him? But don't you love
Steven A. Smith's response every time?

Speaker 2 (09:41):
Look got much money I make? Look at God? I
don't need that. I love my life.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
At what point does this all feed Stephen A. Smith's
ego to actually run. I think he's there to pave
the way for Wes Moore. He's just trying to be
the John the Baptist for more and everybody's trying to
make them the christ even Megan Kelly.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
But listen to his.

Speaker 3 (10:04):
Same response to the same question over and over again.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
I will help you.

Speaker 7 (10:10):
Are you Are you kicking it around a little?

Speaker 2 (10:13):
I'm not considered I'm not considering it.

Speaker 9 (10:15):
I was recently in the news for agreeing to the
new contract potential with ESPN. My life is pretty damn well.
I really don't need politics. I don't need that headache.
I'm not thinking about it at all. And I've said
that I think it's ridiculous that I am a candidate.
But the more I think about it, I understand it.
The Democratic Party is an absolute mess and they are
devoid of leadership on a national level. I am a

(10:38):
fan of a Governor Wesmore of Maryland, Josh Shapiro, who
I had the pleasure of interviewing on my podcast during
Super Bowl week for Pennsylvania.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
I respect these guys and what have you.

Speaker 9 (10:48):
But I'm talking about a national voice meeting somebody in
the House or the Senate or somebody in the business
community that resonates on the left. No, there's none of
that because they've been pulled too far to the left.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Why are you still a dumb crap? Same question same answer.
I see th Roid. He's paving the way for wes Moore.
Because wes Moore is coming, She's gonna get smoked.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
He's got to stopped.

Speaker 5 (11:14):
I really don't know what he said at the end
of this, but he knows what he said either.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
It's got to be a big misunderstanding. I'm going I'm
going in. How do you like my garbage? I love
your garbage truck.

Speaker 1 (11:29):
Miss a little, miss a lot, miss a lot, and
we'll miss you. It's Your Morning Show with Michael del Churno.
