President Biden has ordered the United States Military to deploy the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and 100 troops to Israel to operate the technology. The THAAD system is designed to intercept ballistic missiles and bolster Israel's air defenses from an attack from Iran. Meanwhile, Israel is facing new criticism after an airstrike started a fire in a hospital tent camp killing at least four people.
