More entertaining and informative interviews with local artists and musicians will fascinate listeners taking in the final episode of the four-part series ‘Art Layers with Hornsby art Society,’ hosted by Hadijah Munting.
Joining Hadijah in this episode once again is Chris Beard, president of the Hornsby Art Society, who shares the tantalising details of Hornsby Art Society’s 2023 program.
In addition, Hadijah chats with engineer and artist Kelsey Hart. Kelsey reveals the influences on her art and in particular her love of the great outdoors and how this passion resonates with her as an artist.
Painter and printmaker Julie Debray also talks to Hadijah with openness and humour, sharing her personal journey as an artist and her reflections on the process of printmaking.
Listeners will once again be delighted by an original and emotive song from musician Sylvie
Iles, who featured in Episode 3. In addition, the sounds of birds are interspersed throughout the program. These come from Songs of Disappearance, an album of Australian bird calls created to draw attention to endangered and threatened species of Australian birds.
