Steve Kilbey, Australian rock icon and founding front man of The Church and prolific songwriter with numerous solo and collaborative albums. His hit “Under The Milky Way” won ARIA “Single Of The Year” Award and with The Church band mates he was Inducted in the ARIA Hall of Fame. Steve Kilbey, band singer, songwriter, bassist, painter, writer, poet, actor, sage, dispenser of arcane wisdom is one of Australia’s most loved artists.

In 2020 Steve Kilbey and Gareth Koch PhD, a Viennese-trained classical guitarist and composer, had joined to explore new musical experiences and led to Steve Kilbey (vocals, 12-string guitars, electric guitar, bass), forming a band The Winged Heels with Gareth Koch (classical guitar, resonator guitar, electric guitar, bass, back-up vocals), Roger Mason (ex-Models, Absent Friends, Icehouse) on keyboard, cello and on drums Barton Price (ex- Sardine V, The Models, Wa Wa Nee, Choirboys, The Party Boys). The broadcast will also revisit their previous two albums Eleven Women (2021) and The Hall Of Counterfeits (2022) albums.
