It is exactly what the title says. Join me as I talk about life, the Universe and why having cereal for dinner is totally acceptable (even encouraged). I'm sharing my philosophies and stories of my life - and all the roles I play in that life including a parent, an entrepreneur, and woman who speaks her mind. Crazy stuff seems to happen to me all the time, and it seems to make people laugh. Together, we'll talk, we'll listen, we'll laugh and we'll cry - and I think we'll learn something along the way.
Life advice for anyone who, like me, feels the need to DO ALL THE THINGS which need doing, even when those are not your things to do.

A life story about how wanting fresh air in my bedroom led to me irritatingly asking, "Who keeps turning the light on in my room?!" I promise that will make perfect sense when you listen to this episode.

I'm not asking what your religious or spiritual beliefs are, I'm asking what you believe moment-to-moment which has a direct impact on your behaviour. If a friend who is glued to her phone doesn't respond immediately, do you "believe" that you must have upset her, or that she's gotten into an accident? Our immediate, micro beliefs have a far bigger impact than we realise.

100 years ago I wrote a blog, long before blogs were cool - and just recently I gained access to it again. In today's episode I'm sharing two articles from 2006 and seeing what has changed (and what hasn't!)

I end almost every episode by saying, "May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be at peace," and today, I want to talk about what all those words actually mean. What does it mean to be happy, when all of us define it differently? What does health mean, and so on?

I've been doing a Word of the Year for a long time now, and I've found it varies from super helpful to super forgettable. In today's episode, I'm going to explain what that is and go down memory lane as I uncover the ones I've had for the past several years and decide if they were useless or plain pointless. Also, why is phone wallpaper called wallpaper? There are no walls on a phone...

My list of lessons from 44 years on Earth grew too long for one episode, so today we're going to talk about what else is on that list. I'm also going go let you know what's happening in Season Two (and when to expect it). It's been an amazing year for this podcast - thank you for listening, let's bring it on home with a great last episode.

It's December, my favourite month of the year! Among other things it's my birthday month, and my birthday always has me feeling very reflective. In this episode, I'm sharing some of the lessons which have been on my mind this year - everything from the philosophical to the absolutely ridiculous.

When other people say crappy things about it, we often let those words bury into our soul, where we carry them around like a balloon filled with concrete. The sad thing is, that person said what they did, then moved on with their lives. So how do we, too, move on with our lives after someone says something terrible to us?

A couple years ago I came up with a concept called The Turn Left Life. In today's episode I'm going to tell you all what that means, and how it has a direct impact on all the goals I make for myself.

My thoughts today are all about this idea that we're all dying (sorry, but it's true) - so what are we supposed to do with that information? Are bucket lists the way to go? How do we ensure we're living each day rather than just moving closer to death? Oh I'm full of profound thoughts on this one... !

Is being totally ignorant to the worse case scenario the same thing as having faith that the worst case won't happen? And, my phrase of the year was "paciencia y fe" (patience and faith) - man, I had no idea just how important those two things were going to be this year! Maybe next year's word needs to be "billionaire podcaster"...?

Time. We either have too much or not enough, and usually when we need it most, we don't have it - and when we have it, we waste it. Let's talk about that.

We all love to give advice, and most of us at some point in time will ask for it. Why is that? Do we really need to crowd source our life choices? (Yeah I kinda think we do, but for different reasons than you might think.) Also, I'm giving you some advice (oh the irony) on how to be both a good advice giver and a good advice getter. Thanks for listening!

This one is a big topic (pun intended.) As someone who has been overweight her whole life, it's something I've struggled a lot with. It's also taught me some really useful lessons about goal setting. Even if you've never had a weight issue, listen in - there's always something new to learn, even if only that listening to someone else's experience gives you a different perspective.

No, that's not a spelling mistake. In this episode I'm going to tell you how miles of open sea, a cryptic Dutchman, and fluffy brown penguins changed how I see, well, just about everything.

The entire podcast was born from a sesame seed. More specifically, it's based on a conversation I had with my sister about a sesame seed. It'll make more sense once you listen in.

I used to be a pretty miserable person - my default setting was negative, "life sucks and then you die." Then I saw a post on social media which changed everything for me.
