Speaker 1 (00:05):
A pod jay production.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Hey team, Glenn here, just dropping back in with a
quick update for the Kakoda podcast. Now, I don't normally
pass on this sort of news. I don't use the
podcast as a way of advertising certainly my own business
or what I do per se. It literally is a
podcast that's designed to help co co. Sorry I should say,
help make Kokoda easier for you, and that's my goal
(00:30):
around it. But I just want to let you know
that I've got four positions that have just opened up
on anzac Kakota this year that I'll personally be leading. Now,
my anzak Kakota's typically sell out, well this one actually
sold out in June or July last year, so they
sell out sort of nine months in advance. And I
don't lead as many Kokodas this year as I used to.
And I've got a fantastic team, you know, in Mick
(00:52):
and Sammy and Heidi and Brian. I've got just an
amazing team of people. However, I wanted to let you
know that if you're thinking about Kakoda, or you've been
sitting on the fence, or something's happened with your own
Kokoda trip and you'd like to pop onto mine with
me leading it for the sixteenth through until the twenty fifth,
actually through to the twenty six you'll fly home the
day after Anzac if you want to be on that
(01:13):
trip and at short notice, I know, but if there's
any opportunity for you to jump on that and have
that experience with me, I have had four positions open up,
and some people that a family that couldn't go this year,
so they've put off until next year. If you want
to go with me and you're thinking about ANZACs and
you just can't get to this year, then please book
now for next year, because it is already starting to
(01:34):
book out. I've got a group of eleven that have
just booked onto one of the ANZACs, so that's going
to really short circuit that one pretty quick that I'm
leading again. Having said that, I've got some fantastic trek
leaders who I've personally trained that are a very very
high standard that I would highly recommend as well. But
I just know a lot of people do like me
to take them as well. So again, the news is
there are four spots available on this year's Anzac trip.
(01:58):
You can email Brooklyn. That's my oldest daughter, Brooklyn Asa
she runs all the administration for Adventure Professionals. You can
email her fell at adventure Professionals dot com dot au
and just let them know you'd like to jump on
one of those spots. Or you can email me Glenmouth
two ends at adventure Professionals dot com dot Au, or
shoot me through a text zero four three eight three
six four one zero six. Text is best rather than ringing,
(02:21):
because you know, I'm pretty busy with some other sides
of our business. If you text me, we can organize
a time for me to get back to you. But
if you want to get an antic this year, if
you've always thought about doing the trip, if it's something
that's just sat in the back of your mind, or
you've been on trips, particularly if you've been with me
and you know the level that I operate at, and
you've got a friend that you know just wants to
go well and might be a good time to give
(02:41):
them a little nudging and get them over the line.
I would love to take them on that experience. So
that's my quick news. Looking forward to bring out the
next episode of the podcast, which is where Hiding Myself
will sit down and talk about frequently asked questions. Right,
Lessy has.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
Racing bond dam beside.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
The bond between Ossie's and the people of Papi and
New Guinea was forged in war and it endures in peace.
We've felt that friendliness, that special connection in the comforting
presence of our porters and in every small community along
the Kakoda Track.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Who were.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Okay, guys, thanks for tuning in.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
It would be awesome if you'd share this with anyone
you know that's going to the Kakoda Track or that
has been and has a king in ts in the track.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
It's people and those that choose to track it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
The Pillars of Bharata say, courage, endurance, makeshif and sacrifices
great words to live by, and this podcast will offer
makeshift and a place for those that live and love
the Kakoda Track experience until next episode, live a life
that inspires you and those around you, and remember to
take time out to think.
