and then a real far flashback, long, long flashback. Yes,

(00:21):

as an older gentleman, I need to warm up and
uh so we're gonna play a little warm up game.
But to start our warm up is back to school.
It says here that I'm gonna be quizzing you on

(00:41):
general knowledge from grades one and to twelve. Yeah. It's
good because I've just got out of school correct recently? Yes,
she did. And you have young kids. Let's see if
you're teaching them the appropriate things. We're homeschooling. So now's
my point. Okay, first grade question, softball, what does a

(01:02):
ruler measure? Don't think too much. I was like, what
does a ruler measure? Any? I'll take all, I'll take
all answers inches a foot? Yeah, length would be length
but yes, okay, inches a foot? Yes? Correct? One for one?
Was it Jeff Foxworthy smarter than a fifth grader? You're okay?
Second grade? How many stars are on the American flag?

(01:25):
Not not stripes? How many stars? Fifteen? Okay? How many
stripes for bonus? Thirteen? Yeah? Why? Because of the thirteen
original colonies? Beautiful? We all know that because it has
its correlation correlation to our football team. Okay. Third grade?

(01:47):
What is the process by which plants make their food
using sunlight? And if you say it in an Adam
Sandler no, I'm just kidding. What was that one? Then? Uh? Sorry? Okay?
What is the long us river in the world? Fourth
grade question? The longest river in the world. Oh? My
ANSWER's two? That come to my I know, okay, I'm

(02:09):
going to say the Amazon. Yeah, is that I was
going to go back to Amazon? Yeah, go back to
fourth grade? It's the Nile. Okay, that's okay, I got
that one wrong. Okay, yes, correct? Repeat? Fourth grade? Fifth grade?
What is the chemical formula of water? H? Two? Oh? Yes,
little pause there? Sixth grade zero as well? The oxer oxygen?

(02:33):
What is the largest continent by area? The largest continent
by area don't don't think tricky? Yeah, Asia? Yeah? What
would you have thought if I was saying tricky but antarctica? Yeah?
I know? All right? Seventh grade. What is the main
circular circulatory fluid in our body? Blood? Correct? Eighth grade?

(02:58):
What does a barometer measure? Sure? I believe that's air pressure? Close, Well,
we'll take it atmospheric pressure. But yes, that's ok. Yeah, yeah, hetmosphere.
You're right in the right, You're right now, you know
air is the atmosphere? Mostly? Yeah? Ninth grade? Start in
high school? Oh okay, here we go like that. Unfortunately,

(03:21):
can we get that same face while I asked this
question for you? Ninth grade? That was senior year. Wow? Uh,
name the component of blood that fights infection white blood cells?
Well done? Tenth grade? Who wrote the play Hamlet? Shakespeare? Yes?
All right, eleventh grade. This is the one I went

(03:43):
pre reading these questions. I did not know which president is.
It's weird because I was actually alive during this Which
president is famous for his fourteen points plan during World
War One? Oh? Okay, there's I believe it's Woodrow Wilson. Yeah,
well done, is it? Yeah? I'm sure you guys prepped
him on it way to go. I was not prepped
on that. One's kidding you were a history guy, though, Okay,

(04:05):
I've studied Matthew's history younger years extensively. Woody and I
were close. Which civilization is considered the oldest in the world. Oh,
I was not on this one. The oldest in the world,
the oldest in the world. I mean, I have to
go back to like what you hear about all the

(04:26):
time with the Aztecs and the Incas. Yeah, it's Mesopotamia. Yeah,
I didn't know that. Well well done, though you give
you about I don't know what that was eighty eight
percent one of twelve? What is that twenty four? What's
the percentage? I don't know. It was two of those

(04:50):
five percent of each. I used to know that percentage,
but twenty I don't know. Okay, so it's not bad.
Good warm up? Yeah, you warm up Phil Limber, No,
I'm not. I'm I'm good. I got a good sweat going. Okay,
now that we are done with the warm up, you
feel good. I feel good. I'm loose and limber. You're

(05:10):
ready to go, said, you're sweating, so that's good. So
we're ready to go. Let's let's jump into the waybacks.
I'm ready, let's go. All right, here we go. We

(05:33):
are flashing back, like we said, Cooper, we will start
with the shorter flashback. We were going back to the day,
young Cooper Cup number ten in your playbook, number one
in your hearts was born, which was June fifteenth, nineteen
ninety three. That's a day in history, right there, buddy,
it is a great history. We yeah. Correct, we are

(05:54):
going to go year in sports to start it. Yeah,
NBA champions, yeahampions, Yeah, Yes, I have no idea. Bulls.
Oh I should have known this. I said that too quickly.
I agree, I said way too quickly. I knew that. Yes,
I knew that. Yes, Bulls over the Suns. Over the Suns.
But first of the year's first of the three three
peats or year of the first three peat. So I

(06:18):
know this because because the Drake song back to back
ninety six, ninety seven. Yeah. So I'm like, okay, well,
if you go, if you just did the mask, yeah,
and you take the baseball hiatus in there. Yeah, that's
what I'm saying, go back. It works. Yeah, well done,
big formula guy. Okay, Major League Baseball champions. Oh man,

(06:38):
I remember that. It's a really famous celebration of this play.
It's the Blue Jays over the Phillies. Okay, what happens?
What was the celebration? Joe Carter hit a walk off
and just his like run to first base. Oh yeah,
I believe the helmet came off at some point, but
I might be wrong there. I've seen the celebration. I
didn't know that. You know that was that year. Yeah,

(07:00):
celebration of Cooper coming into Yeah, I mean I think
that's what he was excited for, was that you were
coming into the world. The NHL champions were the Rangers
over the Canucks. Not a big NHL NHL guy. Yeah,
I never I've never gone around to I've heard going
to the games, so it was pretty electric. Yeah, it is.

(07:21):
It's fun. Super Bowl Champion ninety three. What do you got?
Young dynasty related to where I grew up. So Dallas,
here you go and they beat the Bill. I want
this one too because my dad was with Dallas. And

(07:42):
then he turns out your dad's on the team. But
we can't remember that one. You're the best he was
with him, but then he got let go because that
was that wasn't the so you're bitter about it, and
that's why he didn't turn it off. Let go they
won their win ninety two, ninety three, yeah, and ninety five. Okay,
there you go. So, yeah he got let go ninety

(08:04):
two right before the first one. The first one, gotcha.
I'm just not thinking about these things. Yeah, I was.
I was a wee little lad. Yeah, you were. Super
Bowl MVP was Emmitt Smith. Costs for a thirty second
Super Bowl commercial? What do you think I'm gonna go?
It's not like eight hundred and thirty thousand dollars. That's
a pretty good guests hear in thirty five. Yeah, no,

(08:26):
we're not that close, but nine hundred thousand. Don't want
to sit here all day and watch you go out
by five. Nine hundred thousand though, Okay, yeah, that's a
good guess. I would thank you. I would not have
done that well. Halftime performer performer zu z. They were
multiple Clint Black oh performers. Correct. I thought you were

(08:46):
saying the next farmer. It's not, saysa. She wasn't lying
on back then. Clint Black, Tanya Tucker, Travis Tritt, Wanona Judd,
and Naomi Judd. The judges the Juds, the Trits, the Tuckers,
and the Blacks. There you go. I wouldn't have known that. Okay,
Billboard number one, you're in pop culture. We're moving on

(09:09):
Billboard number one. YEP song YEP of nineteen ninety three.
That's the one you sing all the time? Yes, definitely,
that's the Way Love Goes by Danna Jackson. I think
you you were. It wasn't even really the song, It
was more of the music video. You knew that moves too, right?
Is that what I do? I am a big secretly.

(09:30):
Maybe we'll get that Jackson next episode and move connoisseur.
We can get that. That would be great. Top grossing movie,
really Happy for the U in ninety three, Jurassic Park
stud movie, Yeah, great movie. Most popular cartoon in nineteen
eighty three. Yeah, Popeye probably more my time. But Tiny

(09:54):
Toon Adventures, the Tiny Toon Adventures, Yeah, we need to
do There's go like six years in the future and
I can tell you everything. Yeah, ninety nine, right before
before the end of the Y two K. What did
you do for Y two K? I mean we were
I was actually my bunker. Yeah, that's why I figured

(10:14):
I just hoarding canned foods, can't eat lots of candy corn.
That's what it seemed like. I was on the beach
in Florida in ninety nine. Yeah, at the moment that
things were going. Yeah, for that makes sense, because nothing
can follow you. I was eleven. Yeah, I don't know
if there was that much thought into it. I think
we were just hanging out with my mom's friends from college.

(10:37):
It was fun hanging out with your mom's friends, well
like their families, you know what I mean, gotcha? Yeah,
we all went to the beach, let some fireworks off.
Might have been a I think there was a whole
smoked pig at some point too, maybe the first time
I'd ever seen that with the apple in the mouth. Yeah. Nice.
And then the best selling home video game of ninety three,

(10:57):
street Fighter too. Street Fighter used to play the original?
Was it street Fighter that you would get in the uh,
like in the arcade if you went to like get
a cheeseburger after the game with your parents and you
go street Fighter and see this is this is the
cool hat. I know all these things because you were
of age, yeah, and all those things were happening. Yeah,
how old are you? You're thirty? One thirty one. Yeah,

(11:18):
fibers learning. So you were that's about really kind of
in that realm. Yeah, it was me. It's really secretly me.
That's the Janet Jackson fan. Yeah, I was gonna say,
listening to Janet Jackson five years old, it's my dance moves. Coming.
Next episode will be tough because I'm not going to
help you at all on any of your stuff, right
because I wasn't here. But we get almanac out. You
can get an almanac. What we could go through an almanac?

(11:41):
Go ahead, You can't go through any of the pictures.
Oh yeah, sorry, this is young Cooper in a T bar.
That's a T bar face mask. It's norms my there's
my grandpa in the back. That's his helmet from his
days with the Saints. The expanded bloodlines, Cooper cup blood lines.
Just been an athlete, dynamic athlete. Since it looks like

(12:05):
I've already dug into the chocolate cake a little bit before, Yeah,
get after that candle. What birthday do we think that is?
Or is that just a house candle? Let me say
three or four? Probably an extensive candle, and that's going
in a cake, into a cake. I mean that is
that's how we were operating there. That's maybe a donut.
You know, there's a space for that candle in the doughnut,

(12:26):
huge candle. Oh, that's a good one. Is that your
MySpace profile? I think it might have been what was
your handle? You guys pulled that off of what was
your MySpace handle? So I wasn't supposed to have MySpace
and so this is and then do your parents know this?

(12:46):
We exposed? So actually it might have been Actually, while
I was seeing his picture, found here like, yeah, it
looks like the face you're making like, oh no, oh yeah,
this is that's a good one. Though, this stakes me back,
This makes me start sweating. Oh my goodness, gracious, well,
you know what's scaring me is just what what's going
for me? And I just I'm terrified. The thing is
you didn't have social media and stuff like this happening

(13:08):
or how you are This is high school. I'm wearing
in high school. So I went through a period of
time where you were where I didn't look like but
you were in high school. What Yeah, I didn't know
what I was. Self esteem was not high. But yeah,
last picture was my space. My thing was dumb blonde
was my It wasn't. That's the greatest thing I've ever

(13:34):
heard in my life. I remember my dad found out
about this, like, I don't care about the picture, but
what the is this handle? That's exactly like what is
what is it? And that was you know what, It's
probably better that we just yeah, delete this, let's just
move on. Yeah. Those are actually three glasses from a movie,
that last picture. And that's that's me, me preparing for COVID.

(13:57):
It's just me right here, buddy. Oh my goodness, I
don't know what I'm doing. I'm in I think for COVID.
This is probably Easter, and I just remember Mom telling
me that I might serious sucker. She put me in,
but I she left to go get herself ready for Easter,
and she came back and I was in the fireplace. Oh,

(14:20):
covered in soot. So that didn't go over well. But uh,
maybe you were going to october Fest. Yeah, I was
gonna slings and leaden hosen. Yeah it looks like it. Okay,
here we go, Yeah, yeah, here we go. Yeah, that's
I understood. This is my cue actually, oh yeah, so
John Matthew Safford February seventh, nineteen thirty eight, nineteen eighty eight. Yep,

(14:47):
it was a smudge on this one. Let's go to
the photo. Can we go through the photos first, Let's
do that. So here we go. We've got the leaden hosen.
Oh yeah, that is uh are you wearing? I believe
this is when I lived in Atlanta. Problem. I'm just
gonna keep saying Easter or a special occasion so that
these linen outfits that my mother was dressing me in
seem more special than they were every day. But uh yeah,

(15:09):
I'm I mean, I'm already dribbling left handed. I mean,
I wish I could have jumped, kid jump. That's my
grandmother in the background, looking on with approval. I believe
as I hit a crossover at two years old, this
is more of the grain, I was thinking, Yeah, this
is again Atlanta early photos. It's my sister Page love

(15:36):
you Page the grass, and I'm on the grass getting
after a little bit of ardwork. Look, I got some
steel toe boots on and uh, just for safety measures.
And then she was always, you know, always wanting that
long hair, and so that was a blanket that we
she liked to wear around her, you know, around her

(15:56):
head to give her the long hair field. Uh, there
you go. There it is again in a seers sucker
overall of some sort hooping. Mm hmm. Oh. I don't
look like you've seen those eyes in a photo from
me before, though you like to say that. But yeah,

(16:19):
that's uh. I guess we're swimming. I don't know where
we are. I don't think they were in Dallas. You
look more sad than like your that your sister. Yeah
that's my sister, more like the suns in her eyes. Yeah,
you look more like it's sad to take a picture. Yeah, yeah,
you're probably right there we are. There we go again,
Me and old Page. I'm wearing my Indiana Jones, big

(16:42):
Indiana Jones fan growing up makes sense. Had like the hat.
I mean, I was singing the music, running around the house.
I had a bunk bed in my room. I was
like fake whip jumping off of it, trying to do
all the things. I also love that you brought out
as you know, you get a good glimpse hear at
how old you are, because you're already wearing your khakis

(17:03):
and collar shirt. Yeah, I'm an old from the womb.
Like that dude right there sitting down at the bar
with a scotch. I wouldn't blink twice. Yeah, like you know,
have the sides a couple of teeth missing, you know,
yeah'd be good. That could be just from a bar
fight or something. Okay, there we go. Well, I would say,
whoever sent the photos in much kinder from my from mine,

(17:23):
thank you, mom. But that's like I said, you weren't
you know, Yeah, I don't like any of those photos
that I had. That was awful. Okay, here we go.
You're in sports hip. Let's go through some of these
nineteen eighty eight. You've got an unbelievable memory of these
kinds of things for some reasons. So you're sitting up
for failure. Thank you. Nineteen eighty eight. You were you

(17:45):
were born February seventh, so you were a little at
the time, just after the Super Bowl. So yeah, let's
let's go there. Let's start there with no we'll work
away down MLB Championship MLB MLB eighty eight, eighty eight.
I'm not gonna know. I'm gonna say the Yankees. There's
a Dodgers, Dodger, Dodgers, you know, we're here. Who was

(18:07):
your team growing up? Yeah, Texas Rangers, spent the majority
of my time growing up in Dallas, Texas Rangers never
you know, made any like serious runs until I was like, golly,
how many years ago that was? Would you go to
the games? I did? Yeah, my dad's. My dad's one

(18:31):
of the companies he worked for at some point had
some tickets, so we would go. Got a ball thrown
up to me in the stands once by Mark macklamore,
second baseman sweethnds. But yeah, tossed me a ball once.
I ran down there after a half inning or something
and got good memories of being at ball games. Yeah,
my dad took me out of school one year for

(18:53):
opening Day, which was really cool. Played the Orioles. Grady Anderson,
center fielder had fifty home runs that year around at
that time, probably was I don't remember how I feel
like Cradie Anderson was right, had a couple good years
at the Orioles. Yeah, yeah, opening day home run at

(19:15):
the ballpark in Arlington. I can't tell you what year
of school to go to the opening Yeah, it was cool. Yeah,
it was fun as I get surprised. Yeah, sat like
way on the outfield. It was fun time. That sounds
great man to be a kid again. Yeah, kids d
days don't know how good it is. I know, Well
you can make them let them know, Okay. NHL Championship
eighty eight in nineteen eighty eight. I'm assuming. I mean,

(19:37):
I'm just guess. I know Oilers over the Bruins. You
weren't an HL guy either, No, the Stars were good
when I was growing up a little bit though. Went
to a Stars parade, Dallas Stars Parade. Once. We've been
to an HL game? Oh yeah, And I went to
a bunch of Detroit and Detroit. Yeah, because they're really
good when I was there, and it was fun going
to the old Joe And I've been to a couple

(19:58):
of Kings games too. Yeah, I still need to go.
I haven't really fun to go. Especial says, they're a
lot of fun going to the game. If you can
catch a playoff hockey game, I mean it's electric. Yeah.
Have you ever been up on the thing? Had a
chug of beer? No? But I hit the drum at
the King's game. Second, think I did good at that,

(20:20):
But no, considering it's just haven't been a yeah, just
can you rhythmically hit this drum? And I seated? No, No,
I don't think any on camera beer chugs. You think
you do good at that? Yeah? Good? What will your time?
Do you think? Don't blink? That's all I said. Just

(20:42):
hit me the throat with the microphone on goodness, gracious,
that was insane. Sorry aggressive that one to be ready? Okay,
super Bowl Champion eighty eight. I mean you were born
right after this, So I'll give you some hints. How

(21:03):
about this, I'll give you. I'll give you the MVP. Okay,
and see if you can figure out who I would
hope I could now to Now you will for sure, okay, Okay.
Doug Williams is Oh yeah, it's the Washington Commanders. Just
a delicately dance around that one. Doug. Hell of a

(21:26):
player though, great great quarterback, met him. He is a giant,
huge human being. Wow, agreed, shook his hands like you
could have played offensive line. Yes, he was a monster,
was great player though. Yeah, that's a cool one. Economics question, Okay,
do the math cost for thirty second commercial? You know

(21:48):
what it was in ninety three? Yeah? Inflation? Inflation August
what is it five years later? Yeah? Inflation is seven
twenty three thousand dollars, seven hundred and twenty three. Yeah. Yeah,
you're about one hundred thousand off. Okay, six forty five okay,
section forty five thousand. I'll take that. Yeah, it's good.

(22:10):
Guess what is it now? You want to throw that
number on? Yeah, that's a great question. I bet you
it's I bet you're significant based like like a million. No, no, no,
he's too many. Eight digits right, it's ten right, seven
seven million for thirty seconds, seven million for thirty seconds. Wow.
So that's that's a mixture of inflation and also the

(22:32):
growing of our game. Yeah, and also the insatiable consumerism
of America. Halftime performer eighty eight. Uh, I know who
one of these? One of these? Uh? I got no
idea options are? So you know who the rockets are?
I do you know who Chubby Checker is? I'm unfamiliar

(22:56):
with his work. Chubby Checker. He can have been around
for too long? Chevy Checker around for long? Can we
get an update on cheby check how many? Also, Chevy Checker?
Welcome back to the world pop An. I was more

(23:21):
thinking like, oh, oh really, Chevy, I'm sorry, Yeah, I agree,
we had we disrespect that. No disrespect, it's just a
tough name to like go into like that work with
your credit to you shoves was up there with the Rockets,
Chevy Checker and the Rockets. It was Chevy Checker and

(23:41):
the Rockets. I don't know if that's like Chevy Checker
and the Rockets Chevy Checker and then pause high kicks
from the Rockets. But yeah, interesting that the Rockets. I
mean it had to have been the Rockets. Yeah, because
did they sing? Yeah? Right, I went to the I've

(24:01):
been to a Rockets performance with my grandmother wants a
Tecker and the Rockets. Yeah, okay, so he was singing
and they were dancing. Well done, Chubby, well done, crazy
the twist, yeah, going when you were no saying that
was his early success here and he was doing this

(24:22):
he had come back at all? Right, Billboard number one.
I don't even know, like this person does jewelry now,
I believe jewelry. I don't know. Tiffany could have been
what the human's name is, Tiffany. The human's name is Tiffany,
the song could have been. I believe after the song

(24:44):
she went in to the jewelry. What could have been
for Tiffany. We'll never know. Oh yeah, because you stopped yeah,
and transferred into after she went board one box Jewelry
believes Tiffany colored jewelry. Yeah, oh yeah, sorry, I got
her own color can't immediately after the game. Top grossing movie.
This is a very famous saying that people say, and
it's never funny. It's meant to be funny. It's never funny, though,

(25:10):
Robin william says that. I believe Robin williams, oh uh
is it really meant to be funny though, because I
think I know what you're talking about. Good morning? Uh,
but yees say it the right way. Yeah, I'm not
gonna do it for you Vietnam. There you go better
if you said that how it was supposed to be said. Good, Okay,

(25:30):
it's all good. You have to do it like soprano. Yeah,
well that's what I'm working with, all right. Most popular cartoon.
This is a good one, which is interesting because I
feel like this one in my head is newer than
the one that was mine. Tom and Jerry. It's a

(25:51):
bunch of rug rats. It's a bunch Nope, it's a
bunch of birds. I don't know that one ducktails mm hmm.
I believe it's like, uh, Donald Duck, Donald Duck and Crew.
I believe what are their names, the three little rascals, Huey,
Louis and Chewy. I don't know that one. Yeah, Dewey,

(26:14):
Huey Loui and Dewey should be I'm just saying partnership. Yeah,
we'll see. I can get a hold of Donald ducktails
flavored coffee. I'm not sure that would fly a Duck
Tailed's favorite flavor coffee. It wouldn't be it wouldn't be good.

(26:35):
Best selling home video game, you got a good one.
But O G think O g's's two of them. I
think these are actually the first video games ever made,
not Pong? Uh is it? Oh? I don't know, Like,
are we talking like Mario Kart? Yeah, it was Toper
Mario Super Mario and Duck Hunt Sue Mario Bros. And
Duck Hunt. Duck Hunt. That was the one that you

(26:57):
could like up against the wall, right, you got like
a bridge doctor and you had like a fake shotgun
or whatever and you were hunting ducks. Is that where
it was Projector? I'm sure there was an actual video
game for a while, but I feel like my friends
had like a little projector really and then you would
like up advance. I agree, but we were doing big
things and they think by then, if they're doing an

(27:19):
eighty eight, that now you'd be playing games where you
like were holding a gun, able to move around like
you were able to play called duty a kind of
here in the game. Can you know? I have no
idea hoween yers so I played in a while either,
but I feel like, yeah, people are still going like
Tues never told me he was out running around videos.
Games got too complicated for me when we had dual joysticks.

(27:41):
I mean, what are we doing. I just got the
one to move the player Nintendo sixty four and then buttons.
But we started going dueling joysticks like sixty four. It
was like that though. I just started looking for my screen.
My friend's screens would be like locked in and my
screen would just be creating nausea for everyone. I remember
when Halo came out, I had a real time, especially
because you everything was inverted. Yeah, so you down to

(28:03):
get up and left to your right? Yeah, I mean
I can't do it. Yeah. I wasn't good either. Okay,
now we're gonna say, okay, it's nineteen ninety nine, no
longer ninety three, you're a young ye child in one
of those lovely photos we saw, yes creating myspaces and
just melting hearts. Okay, first memory of football? What is

(28:27):
your first memory football or your youth football? First memory
of story? Football was growing up like we've had a
little area behind the couch, playing on the carpet. Yeah,
my dad right, like he's on his knees tacking or whatever.
First more of like organized football. We were not good.
I mean we're not good. We were not I played
running back. First game, score, touchdown, spiked it as hard
as I could bow dad, penalty not fired up. We

(28:50):
got it. Well that's what you did as a kid
when you scored. It was like your dad's like, hey,
spike it. Yeah, so that's what you do every time. Yeah,
so I scored, spiked it. Haven't spiked a center penalty,
have not celebrated since. Ruined it. Ro off the bat. God,
it's like PTSD on the spikes right there. But it
ruined it for me. So you just you know, and
we handed to the ref. Yeah. Will you started playing

(29:14):
like organized football fourth grade. I think I've told you
this before, but we were playing six man football back
in the day with other helmets, yes, leather helmets, no mouthpiece,
salt tablets and cigarettes at halftime. No, it was uh
we uh six man football at the YMCA in Dallas. Yeah,

(29:35):
and so a lot of teams were like three three
two split two spread out quarterback or like a running
back and one receiver whatever. Everybody was kind of eligible
to go out for a pass, but we did center quarterback. Four.
We see flag football now except tackle correct, no blocker.
Dad says, I figured out it was a big field. Yeah,
it might have been like eighty yards or sixty yards

(29:56):
and a little bit. I think maybe a little tighter.
I think it was like sixty by forty or eighty
by forty like that. But it was kind of a
cool way to like get everybody involved, so somebody wasn't
just like stuck playing a line or never touched on
the BA. But those are kind of my earliest memories. Quarterback,
middle linebacker. Of course, every quarterback thinks they're a middle linebacker. Yeah,

(30:16):
until you have to tackle a favorite meal as a kid,
a kid, you're weird eating habits? Do I have any where?
They You can discuss them now, But I was saying,
where as a kid, Yeah, as a kid, My favorite
meal was probably There's a really famous little burger joint
in Dallas called Jack's Burger House, really good cheeseburger franchise.

(30:37):
I have since taken my family there when we go
back to Dallas to give it to him. It was
took the twins there really early, they were super small,
fed them the burgers. One of them had an allergic reaction,
which was awesome. No, she was totally fine, but just
you know, just real red and patchy. Nothing against Jacksburger House.
Never gave me one, but uh yeah, that was my

(31:01):
That was my go to growing up. That was probably
my favorite weird eating habits. I was a pretty normal eater.
I asked. I just remember, for some reason, I thought
it would be funny slash grown up to here goes
to the old man. As a young kid seven year
old birthday, asked my dad to make swordfish on the
grill for me. Of course, I don't know why, but

(31:23):
I've never lived that one down. My family's like, what
were you doing? But yeah, so that's my one weird
weird eating habit. What about your favorite meals? Kid? Oh man,
I don't know. I didn't. I love to eat. I
would say pork like, well, no, I I grew into
the full pork sandwiches. I just didn't really get to

(31:44):
have a pull pork sandwich until later on. Yeah, I
would say I was a big like seafood crab boil. Yeah,
that would have been like my favorite thing. Really, Like
I thought that red lobster, Yeah was it the I
didn't think there was anything above red opster. Red lobster
was the pinnacle of restaurant life. So if you go,

(32:08):
I've grown out of that one. Nothing against red lobster
except that it's just good. I don't have anything weird.
I don't think. Yeah, I don't think. I drink a
lot of chocolate milk. Really. I fel like because of
the like it was good for you after a workout,

(32:29):
or just because you liked it. I just really liked.
So I would go through like I would have like
three big mugs of if we had rout beer mugs, yeah,
probably beer mugs ut beer for us, and I'd fill
one of those up with chocolate milk three times a day. Oh. Yeah,
I wasn't a big milk drinker. I mean I had some,

(32:50):
but not weird. Because you're from Texas, which seems like
more of a I know it's a butter milk thing,
like butter milk. I don't know. I like buttermilk pancakes.
I don't know that i've had it. Oh, yeah, I
don't know that I've had it in liquid form. Yeah,
I don't know if it would be good to drink.
Sounds very fattening. Music of choice did you ever have

(33:12):
a phase? You have a phase growing up? She's music first,
And then I want to know about your own music
of choice, Like, I feel like I didn't listen to
a ton of music. I started listening to a lot
of like rap and hip hop when I was in
like middle school and high school. Your sinatrea obviously growing

(33:32):
up and you were really young. No, I remember getting
a Hansen CD at one point for Christmas. Shout out
to those guys. Do you know who that is? Hanson? Yeah,
I've heard of them. Yeah. And then my first concert
was a Spice Girls concert, which is a tough one.
Sister's birthday? Is it that one I just got? It's

(33:53):
just tough to say that I hurt, but I got.
I got drunk to it, and do you have a
good time? I don't remember there were probably like a
lot of girls around, so I was probably into that.
But other than that, I was I was probably really
embarrassed to be there because like my sister and all
our friends had like surets painted signs, you know, the

(34:13):
whole part like too cool for I have to be here,
so I don't get fine. Probably it's like me and
Marshaw Ice was him right, Yeah, okay, so what about phase?
He phases, Oh, I mean, I guess you could say, like,
I don't know, like I listened to rap, but I
still it's like the season like your life, like you
were always just you, always just the old man Stafford

(34:35):
all the way through. There's no point of like it's
like for me, I went through a I was just
like a skater as can be. Big old skate shoes,
long hair. Why were those pictures? I don't know. That's
why I don't know why I got Are you wearing Jinkos?
Do you remember those? I wasn't wearing Jinko's. I was
more of a ah we did the knockoff brand, so

(34:59):
you right of her of him, But I got you.
But yeah you were skater boy, Yeah, big baggy jeans.
I could see that though. That mean where you grew up.
You're saying, like Pacific Northwest. I feel like it's uh
there was a grunge. There was a grunge movement. You're
still holding on to it a little bit, you know,
it's kind of a Nirvana thing. Uh yeah, I don't know.

(35:19):
Uh no, I didn't really have that. See this is
what I'm saying about Matthew. He came out to the
womb old and he's just been old, just an old curmudgeon.
Yeah it's good. Yeah, it's good. Though. You went to
Spice Girls and you tried to venture out. I did,
and then just wasn't wasn't. Came right back to my cocoon,
my music of choice. I know you're gonna ask, right, Yeah,

(35:40):
that was next. Next thing like for I'm a big
currently this kid's favorite. First uh first CD I had
was Will Smith's Greatest Hits put in My Walkman, was like,
how how many great hits was it that? That was
like Welcome to Miami and like all that is just
it's just Miami. But yes, Miami. Uh there's like uh

(36:02):
the uh fresh prints like the Girls of the World
in Nothing but Trouble. I don't know what the name
of the song was Freddy was on there, Fresh, Prince
of bel Air was on there. You know there's some
good ones. Yeah, Men and Black was on there. Yeah,
Summertime I was on there. Yeah that's going. But yeah,

(36:22):
it doesn't didn't feel I felt pretty cool. Yeah, walking
around with that. So that was my first that's my
that's the only thing I had to listen to. So
I will smith great heads there you go over and over,
over and over. I do want to know who picked
the photos, because I know they're in this room, so
we'll figure that out after the show. Yes, but we
do have an outro here. I didn't think it was
fair to only challenge my intelligence, so I just want

(36:44):
to pull a few, so we got a few of them.
So we're going just just first through first grade through
fourth grade. Yeah, I can't wait. I don't believe it
when I hear it. Go ahead, believe what that it's first,
first grade through it first, first, second, third, fourth, it's
just all the time we add because I want to give,
but we wont have time to get first, two, fourth,

(37:06):
But it is what it's okay, first grade. What is
nine thousand, three hundred and fifty one in expanded form?
An expanded form nine three hundred and fifty one. Yeah,
I don't even know what breaking down to chunks. It's
nine thousands, three hundred's fifty tens and one one. Okay, hey,

(37:32):
there we go that first grade question. The inner part
of the earth is called the core. Good see Okay?
Which gas makes up the majority of the Earth's atmosphere?
I believe it's nitrogen. But yeah, good? Fourth grade? What
art style is characterized by bold colors, geometric shapes, and abstractions?

(37:56):
I would say abstract? No? Why would Why would the
because it's because it's a fourth grade question? Now, okay,
we feel fourth grade? What it is? Like? I did? Though,
that's fair. I must have skipped it. Yeah, all right,
fourth graders know that was is? Next guest, The art
style characterized by bold colored, geometric shapes and abstraction. There
we go, Cuba, There we go. What we learned today?

(38:19):
We both you go back to fourth grade? Yeah, can't wait?
Up elementary? What about you? Nob Hill nighthawksnob Hill Nighthawks.
We're the up panthers, garnet and gold. I think we
were black and yellow like the Little Wing song. Well
we go. Thank you for joining us. Episode three, nine times.

(38:42):
We'll see you next time. Yes, sir,
