പിനു ആ കാട്ടിലെ ഏറ്റവും ശക്തിയുള്ള പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയാണ്. അത് അവൾക്ക് കൃത്യമായി അറിയാം. ഏകദേശം അതേ അളവിൽ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ള ഒരേയൊരു ആളാണ് മൂപ്പി മുള്ളൻപന്നി. ഒരാൾക്ക് കുറെ ശക്തിയും മറ്റെയാൾക്ക് കുറേ ബുദ്ധിയും. അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഇരുവർക്കും ഇഷ്ടമല്ല. അതിന്റെ കാരണം ആ കാട്ടിലെ ആർക്കും അറിയില്ല. പക്ഷെ ഇവർ രണ്ടുപേരും ശത്രുക്കളാണ് എന്ന് എല്ലാവര്ക്കും അറിയാം. ഒരു ദിവസം പിനുപ്പുലിക്ക് വല്ലാത്ത വയർ വേദന വന്നു. സഹിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അത്ര വേദന. ഗുഹയിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്തേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങാൻ പോലും ആവാതെ പിനുപ്പുലി കഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു. തീരെ സഹിക്കാതെവന്നപ്പോൾ പിനുപ്പുലി ഉറക്കെ കരയാൻ തുടങ്ങി.  കഥ കേട്ടോളൂ... അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് ലക്ഷ്മി പാർവതി.
