He’s particularly active in the world of sports, having placed Bud Selig as MLB commissioner in 1998 and Deion Sanders as head coach of Colorado football this past year. Sports Illustrated once called him “the most influential man in sports you’ve never heard of.” In 2006, Bob helped place Coach Matt Doherty as the head men’s basketball coach at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where he coached for the next six seasons.
