SEGMENT #2: Laura Gibbs-Green Rockford Park District 

In this segment. Laura outlines the results from a community wide survey of the Rockford Park District and in addition to family events and input from students, they found Mental Health Programs and Opportunities were requested by the community, She outlines a new program called “Equine Assisted Services” not only at Atwood but around the area. SEGMENT #3: Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara

Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara outlines the stats on the crime rates lowering in the Rockford. He also outlines the deadline for Rockford Promise for college bound students who can receive tuition free to NIU or Rockford University. He discusses the Made For Rockford campaign through GO-ROCKFORD and concludes with a recap of the Prairie Street Brewing Company employees who helped rescue a resident who drove onto the river and fell through the ice and complements Brook Road Unity Church for generating a Baby Bank for Diapers to those in need.
