Speaker 1 (00:00):
You were listening to the Wes and Walker Show. Are
you telling me? After fifteen years.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Of unanswered prayers, we finally get our rint protector only
for Dorian Finney Smith and Danilo Gallinari.
Speaker 1 (00:14):
It's Wes fifty two year old Danilo Gallinari, try to
mess it all up. Let's go seven games, seven games
into the gear man.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
Are you telling me I actually miss Cody Zeller and Walker?
Forget o hornet starter jacket. I need a straight jacket.
I'm going crazy. I'm rocking back and forth in fetal position.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Only on Sports Radio ninety two point seven a FM, WFNZ.
Speaker 2 (00:39):

any of the very many ways that you can't listen

on any channel that you just listened to. But Apple, Spotify,
we mean at WFNZ dot com, the WFNZ app, we're

always with you every single weekday from twelve to three pm.
We open up the show talking about the Charlotte Hornets.
We'll get back to it in just a moment. Provides
an injury update with what we've had from the Panthers
over the last couple of days. But I wanted to
ask you one of my favorite topics in sports fandle
text line seven oh four five seven oh ninety six ten.
(02:03):
Who has among your favorite stat reference pages of all time?
It's one of my favorite things to talk about seven
oh four five seven oh ninety six ten. The reason
I ask it is because of mia Ham having the
NCAA single season record for points with ninety seven and
just to put that into reference. The next best season
that she put up right Mia Ham, who many would
(02:25):
people who would many would consider the goat was like
in the sixties mid sixties she almost put up one
hundred points in a single season.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Just absolutely ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
So the one for me Barry Bonds, where you know
how they'll bold stuff on sports reference page for season
leaders or all time leaders. It's just all bold. Every
single year Barry Bonds plays baseball, every single year, it's
all bold. It's my I look it up once a month,
maybe twice a month, for just how ridiculous it is.
(02:57):
I wonder how I don't think show hey O Tanis
is going to tickle me the same way that Barry
Bonds does, just because I like the bold interesting At
the same time, that's the number one answer ad lead
all for me, it's Jerry Rice. It's a great one.
Just looking at his page the seasons. I mean, you
talk about steph that would never be broken over twenty
(03:18):
two thousand receiving yards, but when you look at just
how crazy some of the seasons were. The consistency, I
mean age forty going over one thousand yards for the Raiders,
I think that's something that will never see again. So yeah,
I love looking at Jerry Rice's sports reference.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I don't want this to just be a question about
who the greatest of all time are, right, But like
some of the craziest reference pages, I'll give you one.
Steph Curry's pretty ridiculous too. It's just such a clean,
nice fitting bold three point attempts per game, three pointers
made per game, shooting percentage bold, and an NBA record
(03:57):
all time in free throw percentage, three point attempts per game,
three pointers made per game. I mean, he's gold right there,
and nobody has had better records than he has in
each of those categories. That's another one I would post,
and then another one. Here's here's what I'm talking about.
Mike Evans. It's so clean. Just give me four digits
(04:18):
every single year in the receiving yards column. I hate
it when I get like four and then you got hurt,
and now you only had seven hundred yards and seven
games because you got hurt. There's none of that with
Mike Evans until now. The fact that you get to
ten straight years with one thousand yards receiving. It's a nice,
clean sports reference page.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
I like this. Yeah, and then you.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Talk about some of the college ones, like I like
looking at Tim Tebow's like you got back and look
at some of his as Johnny Manziel, Oh you.
Speaker 3 (04:44):
Go to college. Yeah, some of the big quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Yeah, I like to go into the college reference pages
as well. But the pro because the thing too that
I think makes a great one. And toil your point
about some of the guys that you mentioned is that
when they have a long list because they played so
many and then you just get that consistency when you're
looking at those numbers. I mean, Jerry Rice went twenty
two seasons, so you've got a lot to look at there.
(05:08):
And just go down the page.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
Now people are just referencing some of their favorite stats
of all time.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
You can do that as well. We can play that
game too.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Stephen from Huntersville says Larry Fitzgerald having more tackles than
dropped balls will always amaze me. It is a jarring stat.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yeah, that is.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
It's just one of the more ridiculous things out there.
Flattery stepped up to the mic. You have something for us.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Barry Sanders page is great, right.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Yeah, he was right behind it. You his college and
his pro page, well, it's college.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
It was weird because he the first two years that
he was there, he was solid. He ran for like
five hundred and six hundred yards. Then you jump up
to twenty six. You know who he was sitting behind, right,
I do not. He was sitting behind Thurman Thomas. Oh,
not bad, that's not bad.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders in the backfield.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
So that's why Barry was chill. And they said to
themselves afterwards, why did we have them? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (06:03):
And Thurman was a monste at Oklahoma stateh NFL had
it going. Yeah, man, I love that answer. Barry Sanders,
that's a clean one too. That that might be the
cleanest because all it is is just outrageous numbers every
single year that he played in the NFL, and he
retired on top. His numbers in the last couple of
(06:24):
years of his career are almost as good as what
they were in his prime. So it might be the
cleanest sports reference page that exists in terms of volume
and efficiency. JJ likes Greg Maddox's that's a good one.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
I like that.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Oh yeah, and I got to show love, you know
what I'm saying to the goat running back Emma Smith,
But he's not that are We're not doing this today.
We having a good day. We just told comeack, we
like a may cuple. I told you we're not doing
this today.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
But we just we just talked about the goat, right, baby.
I'm pretty sure I saw actual horns coming from Barry
Sanders head when he was right. But he quit, he did,
He did quit he quick because he played for the Lions. Yeah, true, man,
Barry is my guy. I love me some Berry saying
this NBA jam and has I don't I don't know
if you can look at this.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Maybe it's on Max Preps. I guess it is.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Uh, we start going up, we start going to Max Preps,
you'll see some wild numbers.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
But Derrick Henry.
Speaker 4 (07:20):
Oh Man, well yeah, now I was gonna bring that
into the conversation, but I wanted to stick to the
topic in hand and saying sports reference pages because yes,
when you go look at his senior season game by game,
it is just jaw dropping.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Yeah, you start to go to Yuli and see Derek Henry.
There isn't there a kid that might break it this year?
Isn't there somebody either in Ohio or Indiana or something
like that look it up. I haven't heard. I think
I can break his national rushing record because Ky Adams
talked to Derrick Henry about it, okay, and Derek said
he saw it, and he said records are made to
be broken. I think there might be a kid that
(07:55):
comes very close to it. But yes, you start to
go to max Preps and there's some wild things in
the high school world. There was one other one that
I wanted to bring up that I forgot about that
I need to go back to and check out. But yes,
I really like some of the cleaner ones that we've seen,
and maybe we can come back to it.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
We ain't doing Okay, we don't have to hate the Cowboys.
I hate him. I hate him.
Speaker 4 (08:18):
Hated Emmitt but man all time leaded yards, touchdowns.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
Hated that offensive line too. Okay, yeah, this this is
the fact. But people say that, but then my dog,
well not my dog. I'm not gonna say, like I said,
I hate it. I don't like people making me like
this yourself.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
But the fact that the man ran for nine thirty
seven at thirty five years old with the Arizona Cardinals, Like,
come on, now, well we're talking about him because he
didn't look just because he didn't do the pretty runs
of spanning and having all them negative five rushing games
like Barry saying this used to have before he would
break a big one. Barry was my guy. I'm just
keeping it real. But Emmitt always been the man. And
(08:55):
we saw what happened to Dallas when he didn't play
Charles Haley throwing the helmet through the thing. They'd losing,
The rusting yards weren't there, and then when he came back,
they won the Super Bowl.
Speaker 3 (09:05):
So to me, that kind of.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Oh you didn't fall for it wasn't wasn't Barry Sanders
the one that people made the the myth about that
he never had a negative.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
I'm not sure about it.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
That was the thing when you would watch him play
some running back, I don't remember.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
That was the thing.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
When you would watch him play, you would get so excited,
and that's how his games would go.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
He'd go negative three, negative five.
Speaker 4 (09:26):
Then he'd get a six yard, and then he might
get an eight yard, and then he would break that
big one. That was the thing when you would watch
those lines games would wait, Yeah, you would wait for
Barry to break that big one, and then he'd break
up like one or two per game, but he would
definitely have his share of a negative yardist plays and games.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, no, I respect them it too. As maybe the
second best running back of all, I'm not even sure
he second best. We got to go back and really
look at what Jim Brown did and some of the
other generational guys. Nah, but you said it, We're not
doing this today. Let's talk about some of the guys
on this team. We can talk about Go Daddle, the
running back that has been better this year for Carolina,
(10:03):
because he was banged up going into that game against
the Saints. He wasn't on the injury report at the
very end of last week, but man, they kept working
on the quad. I mean, it felt like he was
a little gimpy, just kind of getting into his spots
before maybe the adrenaline took over. I don't think we
have him real in any real danger of you know,
(10:24):
missing this one. So it's not like Rico Daddle's gonna
miss this game coming up against Atlanta. Some of the
other injuries though that we do have. Derek Brown has
a has a knee injury. The knee injury is on
the same knee that was hurt last year, but it's
a different type of injury. I don't think that he's
in crazy danger of missing this game. That would be big, clearly,
that would be a monstrous absence for this Panthers team.
(10:47):
But I think we're okay there Trevin Wallace. That was
the big news coming in yesterday that Trevin Wallace had
an injury and did not practice. What whatud it mean
for Carolina to have Trevin Wallace not be out there
against this Falcons team.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Well, you know, it certainly will hurt because this it's
already a position of need anyway, and then when you
lose a guy who's your starter, it's only gonna hurt more. Now,
he had a stress between Miami Dallas and the Jets
where he was playing some of his best football decent
game against Green Bay, but he hadn't been great lately,
but he has been a fairly sure tackler. Like he's
(11:18):
just been a mixed bag this year because he has
some games where he covers well, doesn't tackle well, run
defensing great, the coverage is good, or vice versa.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
So he's just been a mixed bag this year.
Speaker 4 (11:29):
But regardless of the fact, this is a position that
many people would consider a weakness and the weakness of
this defense, but they've had their moments and this is
a young player that's still learning and still growing. So
you hate that because you know that Trevin Wallas is
inconsistent as he's been. You know, if nobody behind him
can beat him out, you're not going to get an
upgrade at the position for the guy who will replace him.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
And by the way, looking at the injury report that
was just sent out yesterday two thirty, I believe that's
the last one that we got, so we can expect
a new one here. I would expect here un but
Derek Brown was a limited participant with that knee injury.
Rico Daddell did not practice with that injured quad, So
I don't know if we've seen a lot of stuff
that we're worried about with him not playing against Atlanta.
(12:13):
Nick Carboni of WCNC welcome back Proud Pop, just like
Ryan Kalkbrenner. By the way, but Nick Carboni, he tweeted
out that it sounds like Daddell could be back at
practice again later this week, just like the situation was
last week. So didn't practice doesn't seem to be in
any real danger of missing this game. Bryce and Tremaine
was a full participant with that hip injury. Trevin Wallace
(12:34):
didn't participate. Chandler Savalla, he was a full participant. So
we'll keep an eye out on some of those things
happening with Carolina. Now I want to switch gear, speaking
of Ryan Kalkbrenner, going back to the Hornets. They beat
the Bucks last night. They didn't have their two star
players with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, Bucks didn't have Giannis.
(12:55):
Call it a wash. We got the victory fair and square.
I apologize for absolutely nothing. It looks like LaMelo could
come back tonight. This is an NBA or excuse me,
tomorrow night. Hornets play tomorrow night again against the Bucks
on the road, and it's an NBA Cup game. I
want to just gauge everybody's interest in the NBA Cup.
You an NBA fan, does it tickle your fancy? Second
(13:17):
tickle reference today? Does it tickle your fancy a little
bit more so with the NBA Cup?
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Yeah, it does.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
Anytime you could put something on the line and there's
something important, then yeah, I'm always gonna be interested in that.
You know, the Cup Championship game last year. I did
watch that, you know, I was into it, and so
I think that anytime you could put something on the line,
and especially for the Hornets, like, I mean, we got excited.
We walk around wearing Summer League Championship t shirts. We
get excited about that. So if the Hornets just don't
(13:45):
charge me in armandal some type of chance, yeah, you
can only imagine what they charged for an NBA Cup
champions Le T shirt seventy five.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
If we win it, I mean I'm gonna have to
take out a second one. Yeah, So that's the thing
for the Hornets. You know, if you have a chance
and you somehow miraculously end up in the thick of this,
Oh for sure. I think that the fans who don't
like it are the teams who basically have no shot
or not into it.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
But I think teams that the.
Speaker 4 (14:12):
Closer you get and the more the closer that your
favorite team could get to it.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
I think the more you get into the Knicks have
a great chance of winning it.
Speaker 5 (14:20):
And I think it's one of the dumbest things in
all of sports.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Yeah, it's been a while. It's been a while since
you had a real strong scaving. Oh, it's terrible.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
It's a fabricated BS tournament where I mean the Summer League.
The Summer League's been around for how long, So to me,
I think that matters more than an NBA Cup, Like,
come on, man, you're playing for one thing in the
regular season. That's to get to the playoffs and win
a championship.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
That's a good point.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
You should like an NBA Cup banner if the Knicks
won it. Do not hang that in Madison Square Garden.
That is a disgrace to Madison Square Garden to hang
that up in the rafters.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
They better not even think about doing that.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
The validity of the NBA Cup, it's hard for me
to gauge that just because I'm kind of with you,
I don't necessarily care about it. I think this is
all about drumming up interest. That's why they did it.
They did it so they can give you a crazy court,
which I'm kind of into. Yeah, I like that part.
Speaker 3 (15:14):
I like differences. I'm kind of in Sea Wolves. One
is a bit much like lime Green. That's a little
much for me. Give me addition night too, with the
cup court.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
It should be well the Cup court, don't I don't
know if it's City Edition night as well, but I
know the Cup court for Milwaukee will see that on
full display. And the whole idea of it is, when
you're scrolling through your channels, that's funny. We you know,
got a little bit of a different streaming situation on
our hands.
Speaker 3 (15:41):
Now.
Speaker 2 (15:42):
I wonder if the NBA foresaw this, But when you're
going through your channels, the idea is that you come
across an NBA game and you see the court hit
you in the face and you stop, Oh, okay, it's
a Cup game.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Cool. I know exactly what I'm in store for.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
I think that my interest is drummed up when we
get to the semi.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
Finals and the actual championshiph.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
Like for tomorrow night, short of me covering it, short
of me caring, just so I know what I'm talking about.
I don't think that I get crazy more interested in
a Cup game for qualifying, but when we get to
the tournament, like, I'll always remember the Lakers Pacers championship
game in the NBA Cup. We were in Boston when
it happened, and I enjoyed watching that. They go out
(16:23):
to Vegas, and so I want to tune into that
more than maybe just your typical Lakers Pacers matchup. Yeah,
I want to tune into it. And it was the
Bucks that won it last year against the Thunder Like.
I remember that matchup watching. So if it stands out
to me, I can tell you what doesn't stand out
to me is the normal forty first game of the
(16:44):
regular season for some of these other.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Squads, but not the qualifying games. Cool.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
I like the court, it doesn't dissuade me from paying
attention to it, But when you get to the semi finals,
that's what I'm really starting to lock in, even if
Flounder just ashes it.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Yeah, I've got multiple people on the text line that
are with me. I know, I know you do. Yes,
I'm sure I live by that now. Then when they
disagree with you, I think that's right. I hate you
most of the time, but you're behind me.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Come on, he's called you trash before. Probably he's called
the Fel text line, So be careful who you support
around here. On the Fandel text line, it's the live
Wire coming up with Floundy. Next Sports Rated ninety two seven,
w FNZ Weston walker Back Sports Radio ninety two seven,
(17:40):
w ufn Z. Just a couple more segments to go.
Was that a call or was that a ground? Okay,
I didn't know, man, Sometimes I mean it's usually you.
Speaker 4 (17:49):
Said back and then I just wanted to put a
little extra emphasis.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
No, I appreciate.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
I thought it was the beat because this is if
you haven't noticed, this is one of my go tos too.
Speaker 4 (17:57):
I like you do you go and listen any of
these like after work, like when you hear you I'm
gonna check this out.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
No, I just I go home and listen to podcasts.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
So okay, I actually don't doubt that I knew that
answer before you said it. I knew you said as
soon as I go home. Well, honestly, I think you
immediately start planning for he'll tough blog after you start,
after you stop up with.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
Not lying. It is pretty much that that you gotta
have that short of a temory. Can I guess your
routine after the show? Smoke? Yeah, this could be. This
could be concerning let's go, I'm gonna keep it.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
I'm gonna keep it. It's in media routine, all right?
What what what you consume via entertainment? There's not a
great way to praise this, but not great. I can't
make this clean? Can I? I can't make this clean? Okay?
What I think your routine is? All right, you upload
stuff to the website. It takes you probably wilt about
(18:55):
four Okay is that fair? After the show?
Speaker 3 (18:57):
Allow four?
Speaker 2 (18:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (18:59):
Just doing different. I throw your promos in and everything.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yeah, so so post production work for and then after
that what you do is you start immediately looking up
some two star that might go to North Carolina.
Speaker 5 (19:13):
I just had a four star that committed today, so
get it right, okay, two stars around here.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
So then you bicker with Fiddy about podcast times, four Corner,
slash Hill, tough blog, staying up to date, and then
you go home and then you actually record it.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
Then and then don Lagrec is squeezed in there somewhere right, Yeah,
look Grec. Yeah maybe in the background while you're working
on all of it. Yep, maybe there you go. All right, Anyways,
I thought I thought maybe I could do a pretty
decent job of.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
What does this mean?
Speaker 5 (19:45):
This guy says I heard Flounder leave scientists mentally scared?
Speaker 3 (19:48):
What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (19:49):
Scarred? And it's a line in this yeah? Oh yeah,
that's it's in It's the second Yeah, read No, that's
gang Star. Above the Clouds are I p Guru? DJ Premiere?
I think the Goat, I think, but that's debatable. That's
everybody music. Yeah it is, indeed, So anyways, yeah, go
(20:12):
check it out Above the Clouds, Flounder, go listen to that.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
I didn't know you thought he was the greatest producer.
I think he is, but I mean I'm not married
to it.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
I think, oh okay, yeah, no, DJ Flounder now Flounder Premiere.
I think I think he probably is. But I know
who you've got. You're gonna go with mob Deep No, no.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
No, no no.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
I would not go a habit. I would have to
think about that one. I mean, that's a that's a
tough question. Who I think the greatest is now?
Speaker 2 (20:39):
I mean, my favorite, it's definitely Artsy FARTSI but I
go J Dilla just like that.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
That's not that I thought you would to say, Hamlin
M Dylan Dyla.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
I just love what made him so unique, and so
that's why I would put him as maybe my favorite
in terms of everybody considering themselves disciples of Dyla. But
I don't think Dyla is the best. Yeah, change yeah,
I mean yeah, top five producers is for real.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
That's not bad too.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
I get it, I really get And you talk about
being disciples. I heard a couple of people talk about
him like there's just nobody better, and it's like, you
don't understand one of those guys. That's kind of That's
how I kind of am with j Dilla. I got
self awareness. You don't understand he's off beat, and yet
he's on beat at the same time.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
You have no clue. You don't even know. Man, that's
how I sound.
Speaker 2 (21:30):
All right, you're ready to go with the Live Wire
their producer, Yeah, many time, now for some sound of floun.
Speaker 3 (21:44):
Connect all right.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
And let's go with the head coach of the Carolina Panthers,
David C.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Canalis. I don't know if that's his middle name.
Speaker 5 (21:53):
I have no idea, but Dave was speaking yesterday and
he got into the comments from Nick Scrton.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Oh, let's take a listen to what he's got to
say here.
Speaker 8 (22:01):
Just about the comments and all that stuff. I think
it's a it's an opportunity, it's a learning opportunity to say, okay,
you know, for us, for our guys, like you know,
speak for your own performance. If you want to make
a general comment, you know about hey, when we lose,
we're upset, we're disappointed, you know, but the specific part
of it, like that we can do a better job
of just keeping those things within us, you know, and
the stuff that we talk about after the game on
(22:23):
Monday and all those things.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
All right, That would be David A.
Speaker 5 (22:26):
Aarn Canalis by the way, that's his middle name, is Aaron?
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Sod about that?
Speaker 9 (22:33):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (22:34):
What do you guys think about his comments? And is
this what you think Al Wallace was maybe trying to
say in his comments. It just was, you know, phrased
a little bit differently by the head coach of the
Carolina Paper.
Speaker 3 (22:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
I mean it's still just a very interesting comment, the
timing of it, and I think that could be the
catalyst for the performance on Sunday. Did they come out
and play well because it is or does this cause
such a problem that they don't. I feel like maybe
it will oh the team because as I said, I
think sences will be heightened. I think that guys will
come out and because he said that kind of take
things a little bit more serious because they don't want
(23:09):
any more bad presses out. That's you know, if you've
got the type of locker room that we think that
they have.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Yeah, I think coaches probably generally subscribed to the idea
that less info is better. And so when Nick Gordon
comes out and tells you that the guys got big
headed and weren't practicing as hard as they might have,
or they felt like they were going to come in
and win easily, they underestimated their opponent. You could see
some of the easter eggs being put down here. Like
(23:34):
Giero Rivero, I keep going back to that comment from
last week. I guess it was a week ago exactly
when he said, as soon as you underestimate an opponent
going into a game, that's when you get got. And
so I wonder how much of that is just answering
a question about a terrible team you're about to play,
and how much of that is because of a specific
reason as to what you've seen in practice. And maybe
(23:55):
it's a little bit more so with the latter, when
I was at first giving a little bit more truth
to the former. So I do think maybe there were
some signs from everybody seeing it. And then after you lose,
now all hell breaks lose. It's you let all of
the secrets out with Ikey saying practice wasn't great. Same
thing with JT. Sanders and the Nick Gorton finally saying
the thing about how people got too big headed. So
(24:17):
it makes sense that Dave Canalis would say it, I
really don't think this is going to be some lingering issue.
And even Dave Canalis today said, yeah, practice, we've looked
a lot, a lot sharper over the last couple of days.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
All right, that sounds like good news.
Speaker 5 (24:32):
Something that's not good news him talking yesterday about Trevin
Wallace's injury.
Speaker 8 (24:36):
Trevin will be week to week really right now. And
you know this, the shoulders aggravated. He's been dealing with
some things, as you've all seen in games, wasn't able
to finish the game, and just you know, we put
all of our brains together and you really saw an
opportunity to just try to get him on top of this,
get out in front of it, get him back to
you know, his full confidence and strength and mobility and
(24:57):
all that.
Speaker 5 (24:58):
All right, So going up against the fact Fawkins run game,
is this an added concern on top of the fact
that he was asked about who gets the green dot?
Would it be Christian rose Boom, and he gave a
non answer.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
I mean, I think that's interesting because maybe it tells
you they don't feel comfortable with Christian rose Boom having
the green dot, but with him being the start of
him having the experience, I would think that he would
have to get it in this instance. But as far
as I said, there was a position where he was
very up and down, but you did get some moments
from him. You do like the speed that he brings.
You do like the tenacity that he brings to the
(25:33):
table as well. So yeah, it's going to hurt you
in some ways. Who knows what type of game he
would have played had he been able to play this one,
But I just know the speeding, the tenacity, even though
sometimes it could be a little misguided because of the inexperience. Yeah,
you're gonna miss that well.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
And it looks like they might turn to Claude and
chair lists as a guy that's going to step in
with Trevin Wallace already ruled out with that shoulder injury,
and when we're discussing who gets the green dot, you
would think it goes to the veteran with rose Boom.
Remember at the beginning of the year. It didn't work
out all that well. He wasn't playing all that well,
and perhaps he was able to play a little more free.
Trevin Wallace got the green dot last year, and while
(26:08):
it's a lot to give to a rookie, he seemed
to be more comfortable with the green dot.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
So who gets it?
Speaker 2 (26:14):
Do you try it out with somebody like Chaerlists who
isn't really a starting linebacker in that regard, but is
coming off of some good special teams play. And this
is what Mike Kay writes, The NFL is all about
seizing opportunities and longtime Panthers Special Teams contributor Claude and
Chaerilists might have a big task ahead of him on
Sunday against the Falcons. So maybe that's the guy that
(26:36):
you're looking at to really take over here. And when
you've seen him play, it's look pretty good from what
you would expect from a backup linebacker. In my opinion,
physical not scared anything. It's kind of what I want
and those dudes that are supposed to seek collisions. So
maybe that's the guy that you're leaning on alongside a
Christian rosebim.
Speaker 3 (26:54):
What else you got all right, let's move on to
Zach Lowe.
Speaker 5 (26:58):
He was on the Zach low Podcast, of course he was,
it's his own podcast, and he was talking about the Hornets.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
He says, they're building a nice infrastructure.
Speaker 10 (27:07):
All there's a lot of evidence that Charles Lee and
his staff are building an infrastructure that's going to be
interesting when the talent catches up with the infrastructure like
that is one of them number one defensive rebounding, they
don't foul, they get to the line a lot. On offense,
their shot selection is pretty like optimal on offense, not
(27:28):
so much on defense. And with LaMelo Ball on the floor,
they would have the number one offense in the.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
NBA equivalent on the team level.
Speaker 10 (27:36):
Now that's a little misleading because A that's selecting your
best lineups. And B stop me if you heard this before.
LaMelo Ball is already missing games with an injury. Brandon
Miller has missed almost the entire season with an injury.
I'm getting tired of this, Fred, I just want to
see these guys play.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
It's not their fault. I don't think it's their fault,
certainly not Brandon Miller's fault.
Speaker 10 (27:54):
With the flukey injuries, the shoulder injury this year.
Speaker 3 (27:57):
I'm getting tired of it. Want to see the team.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
All right, Well, we're not going to talk about the
injuries again because I don't think anybody could stand to
talk about it. But when it comes to building a
nice infrastructure, do you think, especially with what we've seen
from con Kin Nipple, Ryan Kolpbrenner last night, do you
think that they're building a nice infrastructure to this team.
Speaker 4 (28:16):
Yeah, that's essentially what I said earlier in the show,
like they're building a nice foundation here to where you
got good young players that will fill some key roles
for you even in a or either in a large
or small scale. When you look at kan k Nimple,
he's the star of the group, But then you look
at Ryan Kapbrennan, he's going to be a defensive stud
that looks like for them on top of being a
(28:37):
guy that can get them buckets at the rim. Seon James,
you're three and D guy that could be coming off
the bench for you for years, you know, and the
guy that's going to be a menace to others. And
then you know Liam McNeely he's the wild card in it,
but we know that he can get buckets, So we'll
see what he'll turn into. But that's a good group
with two kind of stars in their own rights, I
(28:58):
would say. And then you've got a couple of guys
that could turn out to be really good role players.
And so all of them bring the same mentality hard knows,
they want to do things the right way, all of
those things that you want from your rookies.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
They're whys, you know. So there's a lot to like there.
Speaker 4 (29:17):
And so as they said, that's a nice foundation now
to where your margin for era becomes a little bit
more with what you bring in after this group.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
Yeah, Floundery, by the way, I'm gonna have to have
you isolate that weird sound you made and play it
at the end of this segment.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
People never hear that again. I don't know if I'm
gonna be miss to get it. I might be able
to get it for uh the walk off them.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Okay, that'll close. That'd be nice, thank you. There is
a lot of nice infrastructure here. Think about the new
additions to this team. Ryan Kakrenner already very good, already
a starting caliber center at least at this point, and
a rotation caliber center in this League. You know how
much I love Mussa Diabat, who's not a new addition,
but kN K Nipple is Seon James, is Colin Sexton
(29:59):
is they all play the right way. They all play
like chickens with their head cut off. And I mean
that in a good way. It's an organized chaos with
the way that they play, especially Sexton, just making things happen.
It's not fun to play against these guys, and I
think that matters over the course of an eighty two
game season. So not only do you have the right
kind of attitude from all of your new additions and
all of your rookies, Liam McNeely is getting run because
(30:22):
of his competitive spirit. Charles Lee or James Brego, I
don't know, but competitive spirit with Charles Lee and what
he's speaking with Liam McNeely. The other thing is just
what you see on the court design wise, man, they
are taking the right kind of shots. They are taking
a bunch of shots at the rim. They're hitting more
at the rim than what they had been in years past.
Thank you, Ryan Kalchbrenner. What's interesting, too, is that they're
(30:45):
defending the rim a lot better now. People still take
a lot of shots because they see a rookie and
they want to challenge them, and they see Musa Diabate
who isn't nearly as tall at the center position than
they want to challenge them. So they're still getting and
shooting a lot of shots at the cup, but they're
not making much. They keep blocking them. You saw it
last night. They only allowed like forty four percent at
the cup last night. It's ridiculous. What a change with Giannis.
(31:07):
But that's absolutely ridiculous. It's in large part why they
won this game, and they haven't lost a rebounding battle
yet keep shooting threes. They forced Milwaukee into a bunch
of mid range jumpers. The Hornets take among the fewest
amount of mid range jumpers in the league. Right kind
of shot profile, Yeah, man, going things the right way.
Nice principles. I really like the principles here instilled within
(31:30):
this franchise.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
What you got?
Speaker 5 (31:32):
All right, let's go to barstool. That sounds dangerous, but
this is the Mostly Sports podcast with Mark Titus and
Brandon Walker and guys. They have found the Hornets nest trophy,
and boy, they are just as shocked as we are.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
This game.
Speaker 11 (31:48):
Across my desk yesterday because I think I think Davidson
and Charlotte played basketball yesterday. Yeah, if you could look
up the hornets nest Trophy between Davidson and Charlotte, I
would like to call attention to hornets trophy.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
So obviously, picture in your brain what it might look like.
It's just a big someone proved on the troph I'd
be a better way to de pick the hornets. I
was going giant testical, don't you do giantical?
Speaker 2 (32:23):
Okay, hold on, hold on, hold on, good, just for real,
I mean, look it is. It is a classic joke.
Then it looks like the first thing they were referencing.
I'm sorry the second part of that, he's got something
going on with himself. I don't know what it is,
or I don't know what he's seen. I don't know
what he looks up in his spare time. I've never
seen the second part of what he had to say,
(32:45):
look like the hornet's nest trophy. The first part, it's
a classic joke. We all know what looks like that,
no doubt about it. Have your fun, I welcome it.
The second part, never thought about that in my life
one percent.
Speaker 4 (32:55):
Man Like how you got fired up about it, you
know what I'm saying. But people are going to have
different It's just not a beautiful trophy. That just is
what it is, and it's going to have to accept
the criticism that comes with it. I mean, there are
lots of rivalry trophies throughout all of sports, and certainly
this is one of them, and it is not an
attractive one. But it certainly does not look like what
those guys were talking about at the latter end of
(33:19):
that sound by.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
You know, we talked about Davidson at the end of
Tuesday's game posing mean mug in front of the cameras
after their victory. How how much harder is it to
act like that gangster if you will? Like I said
earlier in the show, how hard is it to act
gangster with that trophy in your hand?
Speaker 4 (33:39):
Yeah it's hard, man, you know what I'm saying. But
then you can kind of flip it and say, you know,
it's grime, it's ugly. We like it like that because
we are gangster, you know what I'm saying. We want
it to be ugly. I mean when I think gangster,
I think Davidson. Okay, yep, me too, bab mchilnder bill.
Wait all that the silver Fox. Yeah, I just think
straight up og. But they got the new young gnnn son.
(34:02):
Yeah they do too.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Yeah, he was getting animated on the sideline, by the way,
which you know Bob McKillop would get animated.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
You tell them to sit the hell down. No, I didn't.
I was too far away.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Yeah, although there were some bad calls, I understood why
in the first half.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
There's some bad bad calls.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
And by the way, about thirty jump balls in the
last five minutes of that game.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Odd game, tough one to lose. Last time. Bite what
you got?
Speaker 5 (34:23):
Oh yeah, well, guys, Jameis Winston got named the starting
quarterback in the league once again. Yeah, he seems pretty
excited about it to know about.
Speaker 9 (34:35):
I'm want fans to know that I'm gonna do my best,
you know, obtually, I'm gonna have fun, but I'm going
to execute, have a surgical execution and just and just
ball man, Like, this is something I've been doing since
I've been four.
Speaker 7 (34:48):
Years old, and I just get to do it in
the greatest city in the world. I'm gonna be saying,
what my son, it's the greatest city in the world.
Yeah that's a Hamilton reference, if y'all I don't know,
a teen year reunion.
Speaker 3 (35:00):
Yeah, all right.
Speaker 5 (35:01):
So at this point, I mean, is there anyone more
entertaining than this dude? Like, I get it, he's not
a great quarterback and he's probably going to turn the
ball over and I'm probably gonna yell at him on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
My god, this dude with the media is unbelievable. Yeah
he is. He's great, man.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
I mean, he set hisself up for a great post
career with all of the sound bites. He's a walking
sound bite, you know, even as much charisma as he
showed at Florida State. Like, I didn't see this coming
where he's become such a big person out. I mean,
this guy's gonna be able to pretty much name where
he wants to work once his career is done, if
he so chooses to.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
I saw the clip from mark Ingram talking about Jameis
Winston on some podcast. I apologize for not giving it credit,
but I saw the clip that was on the YouTube
short or something when he was asked about being locked
in a room for twenty four hours with Jameis Winston
and if you laugh, you do not receive a million dollars.
If you don't laugh, then you received a million. Mark
Ingram cut off the guy asking the questions that it's
(35:57):
not possible.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
I knock that.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
I don't think so me an hour, it's not happening
twenty four. That's useless. I'm just gonna sitting there with
my ribs hurt and laughing. If you were locked in
a room with Jameis Winston and you weren't able to
laugh or else you wouldn't win the million.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
There are some people that are like it.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
And then a story that he told was how he
was trying to give a pregame speech before they went
out onto the field, and at the end of it
he started singing the Monday Night Football theme, which I
don't know if it's good for the team in a raw,
raw sense. It's good for the team to have a
comedic relief, no doubt about it. But I am not
(36:32):
about to run through a brick wall when you start
eating your fingers and saying let's go get a.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
W well again. It all depends on the messenger. I mean,
is the messenger ballding If Jamis is going out there
throwing for three p fifty four touchdowns and there winning.
Then Yeah, you're gonna eat up everything he's got to say.
You love to eat in the fingers, you love the
Monday night football theme and all that. But you know,
if you're the backup just getting a little spot duty,
or you know what I'm saying, you're going out there
(36:56):
throwing as many picks as he's capable of throwing.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
The Yeah, it's not gonna come across it.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Well, I mean, it's not that it's bad percent, but I'm.
Speaker 4 (37:05):
Not like, it's not like that. It's I'm laughing. I'm
snipping at that, but that's what I'm saying. So it's like,
you can feel like it's clownish in a good way
where you do laugh and you're with it. But then
if it's a guy that's balling like that and he
does that, it's still funny, but you get a little
more hype to that. Yeah, let's go, and you're gonna
(37:26):
start singing it too, because you like whatever that guy's happen,
whatever he's doing to be successful. I want some of
that too, so you'll be okay with it. But I
get one thousand percent what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Last story on this, Uh, you know, and I hope
I've told the story I think before. I hope it's not,
you know, at the person's dismay, But yeah, I'll go
ahead and say it. With the Baltimore Ravens, it reminds
me a little bit of ray Lewis, and when ray
Lewis would give pregame speeches to these guys in the
locker room. This has told to me with somebody that
played on the team. But ray Lewis used to give
pregame speeches and he'd get a little too lost in
(37:57):
the sauce. And of course this is somebody that is
extremely spiritual, right, which also becomes funny. The serious thing
becomes funny. Jamis knows he's funny. Ray Lewis becomes the
spiritual dude that is funny without trying to be funny.
And so he talked about for one game, an important one, guys,
you got to have it in here. He starts pointing
(38:19):
at his heart or whatever. He says, you guys got
to have it in there. I've been to a super Bowl.
I know what it's like. I want you guys to
have that when you have the funfetti. Oh yeah, the
funfetti is all over you. And then once he starts
saying that, apparently Troy Smith started snickering a little bit,
and then ray Lewis got mad at Troy Smith and
(38:41):
it ruined the whole thing. Troy's like, right, you mean
you said fuck? You mean confetti? Yeah, and then he
said the funfetti it's writing down on you. I want
that for you, And of course they all start bursting
out laughing because ray Lewis he got mad at Troy
Smith for sneaking or at him. There's also one story
he told about hitting the deer on the way in
because he was late and it was never late, and
then he used that as a life lesson and it
(39:03):
was a weird transition. Ray Lewis man one of one.
One more segment to go on the Western Walker Show
Sports Radio ninety two to seven WFNZ.
Speaker 3 (39:20):
You challenge for me to walk off. Oh yeah, that's
a walk off challenge, my friend. It's a walk off.
It's a walk.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
One more segment to go WESN. Walker Sports Radio ninety
two to seven WFNZ. Will remind you one more time, folks,
text con to win four pack a four pack of
tickets to the Hornets Thunder game.
Speaker 3 (39:48):
Oh, it's the Raining Champs coming to.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Town, Saturday eleven fifteenth at Spectrum Center. That means it
will just take place in a couple of days, a
Saturday night game against the Thunder again November fifteenth. If
you text in con two seven oh four five seven
oh ninety six ten, text con for kanka nipple, I'm
not gonna tell you how to spell it.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
I'm cutting.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Look up how to spell it if you don't know, Okay,
if you're not sure, is.
Speaker 3 (40:12):
That a C? Is that a K? Is that a kh?
Speaker 2 (40:15):
A couple different ways to spell it? Sorry, people, you're
gonna have to work for it. Text con to the
fandal text line seven oh four five seven oh ninety
six ten, and you will be entered for a chance
to win a four pack of tickets to the Hornets
Thunder game Saturday, November fifteenth at Spectrum Center.
Speaker 3 (40:34):
Do you know who that was the first guy that
I played with?
Speaker 5 (40:37):
I'm cutting, I don't I would be a college teammate,
mister Kaman malawatch, you did a tremendous job of delivering
his name, as he was doing that last year while
they were on the team bus. So you got this
one which will live an in for me and then
a course he did. He did Cooper flag as well. Okay,
we don't like Cooper flag around here. Okay, I mean
(40:58):
all right me, you don't like Yeah, no, we don't
like him around here because there's a race for Rookie
of the Year and our guys playing better.
Speaker 2 (41:05):
I like it, he said, our guy for kan Ka Nipple,
a blue devil. He really has turned a new leaf
over there. Yeah, we got Tarshiel guy and we got
blue devil con knipp or we got blue devil flounder.
I should say never it doesn't. It doesn't, doesn't. That's right,
all right. So it's time for what's on tap. I
got a bunch of stuff here. I'm disorganized. What's on
(41:26):
Tap presented by Twin Peaks. Twin Peaks has locations and
Concord and fourth mil Twin Peaks is your local sports lodge.
Come in from Ade from Scratch food and signature twenty
nine degree draft beers.
Speaker 3 (41:38):
This is not a stinker. This is a stinker. A
and I.
Speaker 2 (41:41):
It's a big difference between both of those vowels. Here
we got the Patriots hosting the Jets at eight point fifteen.
I think, yes, Division, I get it. It could be closer.
Throw the records out the window. Patriots are favored by
thirteen and a half. I think the Jets are so
bad the Patriots get it done.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Yeah, I think so too.
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Even though the Patriots Jets have been playing a lot
better football lately, getting a couple of wins in the process.
So I think this will be a little bit more
of a dogfight division game. The Jets are playing better.
I think this will be a tight one.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Thursday night football is always drunk, I will say that
so far, and they've actually been for the most part,
good games. I think now we're starting, since we're here
at the midway point and beyond the season, now they
might start getting uglier and uglier. I hope it doesn't
start any in time in the NFL season. But I
think to my guy, I'm not making a prediction. I'm
not doing it. I'm not gonna have my guy go down. Yeah,
(42:33):
because you know how you feel. The gods know how
you feel. You can't hide from it.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
I hope not.
Speaker 5 (42:38):
That would be a terrible loss, that would just send
them right back to Earth.
Speaker 3 (42:41):
But and he is playing well. Man Drake May sexy
Yeah he is.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
He's playing very well a big time. This is a
stinker with an a in college basketball. Alabama hosting Purdue,
the Crimson Tide that are ranked eighth on the season.
Purdue is the second best team in the country according
to the Ape Pole at a clock tip off tonight,
Alabama at home, a three and a half point favorite.
This game is on ESPN two. You excited for this one?
(43:08):
Will you pay attention?
Speaker 4 (43:09):
Purdue almost got upset by Oakland the mart right.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Purdue one by ten against Oakley? Yeah, but they won't good. Yeah,
it was a tight one.
Speaker 4 (43:19):
And you guys didn't get that ESPN alert when they
were talking about, oh upset alert.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
Perdue might whatever the case.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
Now whatever, I'm gonna go with Alabama at home.
Speaker 3 (43:30):
What you got? Alabama's crazy, man.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
They get up and down the floor as fast as
just about any team. They shoot a lot of threes.
I think. Yeah, I'll go Obama as well in this one,
even though I think Perdue is a hell of a
basketball team.
Speaker 2 (43:44):
Yeah, I mean you could see this as a Final
four matchup possibly both teams excellent. The preseason ranking for
Alabama they were nineteenth and then they have jumped up
in the ESPN poll all the way up to six.
The last couple of wins that they've had one was
against top five opponent and Saint John's on the road
they won one of three ninety six. The other win
to open up the season, what's against North Dakota. So
(44:05):
that win carries a lot of weight. One of the
better wins that any team has registered in the country
to this point. I think Alabama wins. I think that
the tide. They get it done at home tonight. Sorry,
panther bow, I feel bad. There's not many times that
we pick Purdue games around here. We did, and then
we said they were going to lose. ECU College basketball.
(44:27):
They host Elizabeth City State.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
In Greenville, North Carolina. Can I interest you in Elizabeth
City State action today?
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (44:36):
No, I don't think you can.
Speaker 9 (44:38):
Now.
Speaker 3 (44:38):
Oh, I didn't get to tell you about blood and
gusts last night. Yeah, you're excited to hear. Yeah, let's
get all right, hold on, let me prep for it. Okay.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
They had the first to have a women's vers just
to let you know they do. They take two wrestling
rings and they put them up against each other and
then they put a steel cage on top, so there's
a lot of room for a lot of stuff to
be happening. I think the first woman started bleeding maybe
three four minutes into the match, and then it just
got funky. Glass thumb taxed the whole now you know
that better nails. We had that going on outside of
(45:09):
the ring. But then it got funky when one of
the ladies brought a mirror in and she put it
up against the girls sitting in the corner. She was
gonna do the dive and throw her butt into it
to crack it. But then the girl met her halfway
and threw the mirror at her and it shattered as
she was coming over there to get it. You know,
it was like my man, Grandmaster Flash would say broken
(45:31):
glass everywhere, you know what I'm saying. So you had that,
and then the highlight of the night, the ending was
the men's blood and guts as well to where you know,
I thought about you as soon as John Moxley came
in the ring and as soon as he stepped in,
took the fork and poked a guy in the head
a few times to go ahead and bust him open
and get things going. And it was just a funky
(45:54):
bloody affair. I feel a little mad that we didn't go.
I'm like, man, because Bryce was just hitting me with
that all night. He's like, Dad, we should be there.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
I gotta see this dude get poked in the head
with a four. It was insane.
Speaker 4 (46:11):
Nate Wemberley texts me daring and he's like, you gotta
be watching this right now.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
It's off the chain, are y'all?
Speaker 2 (46:17):
I just there's a real disconnect, man, are you all okay?
Speaker 4 (46:20):
Well, it's no different than watching a movie, but it
is different.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
It is a little bit of real life. But we
understand that.
Speaker 4 (46:30):
It's like it's like a physical play.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
That's what I think.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
That's act. That's actually pretty decent way. But even with
the plays, I mean, you have the fake blood. Yeah,
this ain't fake blood.
Speaker 4 (46:44):
It's not fake. It's not at all. But yeah, it was.
It was off the chain, all right.
Speaker 5 (46:49):
It was definitely like watching a guy like watching watching
Willis mcgahey blow his leg out and you're like, yeah, my.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
Man came in there with the with the toolbox full
of tools, crow bars, all kind of stuff.
Speaker 5 (47:04):
Man.
Speaker 3 (47:04):
We basically they're doing home alone type bleep. Yeah, to
these times.
Speaker 4 (47:08):
Out there essentially, and the women, like I said, first ever,
blood and guts as well. But yeah, in retrospect, I'm like, man,
maybe we should have just gone and I took Rice
to school a little late this morning.
Speaker 3 (47:20):
Home Alone is a great reverence. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
So they're just gonna be throwing Christmas ornaments all over
the mat, and then they just wrestle throughout the Christmas
ornaments and then here comes a flying brick. But you're fine. Now,
you can get up and walk. That's as hard as
I've laughed on this show. By the way, when we
were going down memory lane on how in Home Alone two,
the crooks survived everything from blow torches to the face
(47:43):
from from Brits.
Speaker 4 (47:46):
No concussive brick, no concussing protocol over them.
Speaker 3 (47:50):
Nah, they're fine. Yeah, it's all good. Baby. It looked
like Jackson dort O.
Speaker 2 (47:57):
Bricks thrown from a three to four story building five times.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
And Marv's fine, man, he's good.
Speaker 2 (48:04):
He just sees a couple of cuckoo birds pass recently.
Speaker 3 (48:09):
Maybe I don't know. I thought he'd be all right.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
We'll find out if Wes killed Marv on Monday twelve
to three, be back right here, because Friday tomorrow, It's
Willie p Friday. Okay, we're both gonna be gone. Wes
is traveling for work and I'm traveling for weddings. It's
something that we're both used to around these times. So
