As we step into the bright new dawn of 2025, I couldn't help but turn my thoughts to a little piece of wisdom from the Old Testament, Proverbs 27:19 - "As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart."

This time of year always stirs something inside me, a yearning to refresh and renew, to let go of the past's weight and embrace the new. Reflecting on our lives can be both liberating and daunting, facing truths about our hearts we often try to hide. Yet, those very scars and lessons can propel us into a happier, more prosperous future.

You see, every experience, good or bad, becomes part of who we are. And, as much as we wish to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the world's harsh reality, it's essential to navigate through life's gray days with faith and resilience. Yes, the world isn't perfect; it's filled with challenges and uncertainties, but within the Bible lies the power to change our perception and embrace peace.

Scripture invites us into a profound journey, encouraging us not just to follow but to understand our hearts. It's easy to get swayed by the heart's desires, forgetting the wisdom in discernment. By aligning with truth in Christ, we find a foundation strong enough to withstand any storm life throws at us.

As I share these reflections, remember that you, too, have the power to shift your life with God, simply by looking within. Each day is a fresh canvas, a chance to align your heart with the beautiful life you envision. So let's step boldly into this year, turning hopes into realities, and may your life truly reflect the love and wisdom of the Lord.

In love and blessings, Tatyana Wayne

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
