Ammoniak – Energieträger der Zukunft?
In der neuen ENERGOPOLIS-Folge dürfen wir Michael Steffen, Abteilungsleiter Energieträger- und Prozesse am Zentrum für BrennstoffzellenTechnik (ZBT), als Gast begrüßen.
Inhaltlich gibt die Folge einen Überblick über den Energieträger Ammoniak (NH3). Wo kommt Ammoniak heute her und wie lässt es sich „grün“ herstellen? Warum lässt sich Ammoniak einfacher transportieren und speichern als Wasserstoff? Lohnt sich der Einsatz von Ammoniak als Kraftstoff für Schiffe, als Brennstoff für Kraftwerke oder als Transportvektor für Wasserstoff und wie kann ich Wasserstoff aus Ammoniak produzieren?
