As Chief Investment Officer for Hageman Group, Tom oversees the company’s various investments and is the group leader of the company’s real estate investment platform, which is the primary equity investor in more than $600 million of properties across the Midwest and Southeast. Hageman’s real estate strategy also includes Hageman Capital, a national leader in purchasing tax increment financing (TIF) bonds. Prior to joining Hageman Group in 2013, Tom held positions including Executive Vice President of Real Estate at Meyer Najem, Chief Financial Officer at Lauth Group, and Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Capital Markets at Duke Realty Corporation.
Tom holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Since 2013, Tom has also served as an adjunct real estate finance and investment instructor at the I.U. Kelley School of Business. In 2022 Tom was the recipient of the Jeffrey D. Fisher Real Estate Legacy Award from the I.U. Center for Real Estate Studies.
