Dr. Patty shares a conversation with Jesus where He took the verses in John 15 of the vine and the branches and explained them in the modern cultural context of electricity. She explains how God communicates with words and pictures that connect with your interests, aptitudes, and even your everyday vocabulary. Even the nickname He calls you is significant. Jesus shows you ways He is communicating with you that you may not even realize and shows you how you can increase your sensitivity to His messages to you in your Experience Jesus encounter.
