In this episode, Ivona speaks with John Kelly. John is a thirty-year veteran of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, one of the largest sheriff’s offices in the country. John has been fortunate enough to have worked in and supervised the following units: Patrol, Investigations, K-9, Training, and for the past six years, the Motorcycle Unit. John has been involved in numerous critical incidents during his career.
John is a motivational speaker, a best-selling author and a law enforcement trainer who inspires and motivates law enforcement professionals everywhere.
Ivona and John dive deep in this episode as John reveals his struggles, addictions and infidelity in his marriage. John was able to save his marriage, but he first had to get treatment and change. John gives practical and raw advice for officers who are struggling personal and professionally.
