Episode Title: Struck by Lightning Episode Number: 5

Welcome to Episode 5 of From the Shadow to the Light, where we dive into Chapter 5 of my memoir, Struck by Lightning: My Journey from the Shadow to the Light.

This episode takes us into the turbulent reality of college life, where academic ambition collides with the escalating grip of addiction. Amid the late-night parties, reckless adventures, and near-misses with disaster, my intuitive gifts emerge—only to be ignored. The literal and figurative storms of my life intensified, culminating in a moment that should have been my wake-up call: being struck by lightning.   Through personal reflection, I share the ways in which addiction obscured my ability to see warning signs and how denial led me deeper into self-destruction.
