Jess Ronne is an author, speaker, podcast host at Coffee with Caregivers, associate producer of the Unseen Documentary, and caregiver advocate. She is founder and executive director of The Lucas Project, a non-profit dedicated to providing recognition, resources and respite support for special needs families. She and her husband Ryan live in Michigan with their 8 children, including their son Lucas who has profound disabilities. She is a mom who had a problem; her son didn't fit very well into the world. She realized though, that she is a problem solver and would some day name a non-profit in her son, Lucas' honor. Her child had disabilities and going through that process with caring for her son, her late husband passed from cancer and her current spouse's health starts to take a toll. What could she do? Having 8 children and wanting to solve this problem, started a non-profit providing respite care for caregivers.
Who provides care for the caregivers? This is where Jess comes in! She is a true change maker, inspiration, and incredible mother, who goes rogue beyond measure for her family.
