If there’s one question I get asked all the time, it’s this: How do you always turn life’s messiest moments into something magical? How do you take setbacks, heartbreak, and straight up shitty situations… and somehow spin them into gold? Well…
That’s exactly what we’re diving into today on I Love Me The Podcast. Because let’s be real… Bad things happen, even to the best of us. But what if those challenges aren’t just random acts of misfortune? What if they’re actually doorways to something greater?
In this episode, I’ll be unpacking:
And to bring it all to life, I’ll be sharing a very personal story - one that really tested me - but led my family to where the grass is greener.

About me…
My name is Tamra Mercieca and I’ve been studying and teaching self-love worldwide for 20+ years now. In 2011 I launched my online school Getting Naked where I offer programs to help people strip off the stories and childhood conditioning, so they can fall in love with themselves.
While I go by many labels - mumma, wife, tea lover, drummer - professionally I’m known as a Self-Love Therapist, Writer and Women’s Pelvic Health Guide, qualified in over a dozen physical and mental health modalities. I’m the author of two books, have been published in dozens of print and online publications, appeared on TV many times, and love to share the teachings of self-love at yoga and spirituality festivals.
Personally, my journey began when I worked out how to overcome suicidal depression and anxiety (and get off my meds). I then went on to create a ten-session program where I now help others do the same. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
