Today, we examine the unprecedented destruction brought last month by Typhoon Halong to Alaska's Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, reflecting on the storm's aftermath in the weeks since it made landfall. We highlight the massive crisis the displaced Indigenous communities are facing, which may prove to be truly an existential one. As always, we look at how we might empathise with those needing our prayers and intentions, and suggest where these may be specifically focused.

Prayers and intentions start at 22 minutes 37 seconds.

Suggested Intention Focus for this week

This week, as we reflect on the major devastation brought about by the recent flooding in Alaska, we suggest holding as our main intention:

We will that those who have lost all or most of their homes, possessions, and livelihoods as a result of Typhoon Halong will be held in light, guided to know how to move forward and opened to sources of help available to them.

Please join us in holding this.
