In an inspiring episode, Clive talks to storyteller, geomancer and longtime beekeeper and bee lover Kamit Even-Zur about what honeybees may teach us about oneness and heart-led living. Karmit explains the remarkable decision making, co-operation and 'we-consciousness' shared by this extraordinary animal, with each hive acting as though one creature or superorganism in its intricate work of mutual protection, nurturing, feeding and survival. We look at what their collective working may teach us about cooperation, heart-centred communication, and selfless care. We also consider the usual conflict between the natural lives of bees and commercial beekeeping practices, and reflect upon the spiritual and practical lessons bees offer us human beings, inviting us to a deeper connection within our homes and communities and integration of some profound spiritual wisdom into our lives.
