Author Ileana M. Leon was diagnosed with panic disorder as a teenager. The focus of her writing is to bring awareness to mental health issues. She is motivated by both her personal and professional careers. As a former Paralegal and Administrative Assistant for Children and Family Services, Ileana understands the negative effects of mental health struggles. Throughout her life, Ileana, has been the voice of countless special needs families. She has provided advocacy, education, and resource support. Her first novel, On the Edge of Truth, brought to light the impact of trauma caused by tragedy. In her book/workbook, Fear Less Living, she shares her personal experience with anxiety, as well as provides practical and faith-based approaches for the reader to find inner healing.
