Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome back to the math Tuhnny podcast with
me Joshua Fox, and today I am finally answering the
question everybody wants answering. Are Elliott and Jamie now a couple?
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Are?
Speaker 1 (00:12):
Are they just mates? And trollingers are on TikTok because
I have heard many different things, many different rumors. So today,
as they both attended Fashion Week in Sydney together, I
just pulled Elliott aside and went, Yo, what's going on here?
And if you're also wondering, how am I in Sydney
(00:32):
when I'm also on honeymoon not in Sydney. For you
og pod listeners on here, I'm going to give you
a little update on that in a minute. But first Elliott, Okay,
Elliott back on maths Funny.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Yeah, good to see you. Yeah, with a new girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
Is it.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, I've got a couple of new friends that are girls.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
Yeah. One's called Jamie.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, Jamie and Georgia and Karina.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
Well, the big question we're going to ask is are
the rumors true? Are you just platonic friends?
Speaker 2 (01:09):
I haven't heard any of the rumors.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
There's rumors you're living together. She's your girl friendly? Yeah, like.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, no, look where we're just we are getting to
know each other. We are good friends, like we've been
really close through the experiment and after the experiment as well,
and that's just yeah, that's what it is like. There's
nothing to announce. Everyone's asking for an announcement, but we're
just enjoying each other's company. There's no there's nothing to announce.
(01:41):
You know, she's in Melbourne, I'm on the Gold Coast,
so you know, we're not we're not eager to dive
into anything. The experiment is really full on and so
both of us are in this place where, you know,
let's just enjoy the ride for now.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
Can we announce if you've kissed them?
Speaker 2 (01:57):
I don't kiss girls, Josh, come on, oh I have?
We We have nothing to announced. There's nothing like there
yet that we want to like talk about. Kah, but
we we are we are good. We are closed. I
would say we're closed, like we get along really really well.
And yeah that's just like why put pressure on anything,
(02:20):
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
And if you could go back and choose to have
been latched for Jamie, would you have Probably not?
Speaker 2 (02:26):
No, I don't think I don't think we would have
been a good match in the experiment. Honestly, like, there's
a lot of things that we're different in and in
that environment, it's really it's a real pressure cooker, and
so a lot of those differences would have been really highlighted.
But in the real world, where it's kind of like,
you know, you're hanging out, we're doing events together, we
bounce off each other really well, and it's like kind
(02:49):
of this low pressure environment where yeah, I'd say we've
got a really really strong friendship, and whatever happens moving forward,
whether someone something does develop from it, I think will
be close regardless.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Now, if you're still enshore with the are they aren't they?
I'm basically told by several people in that world. The
reason they're so hesitant to really say or label anything
with like an official title is kind of because there
isn't one yet, Like as Elliott kind of said, they're
just two people who are getting along kind of like
casually seeing each other like people do.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Like in actual real life.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
And then you know, maybe that casually seeing each other
goes into properly dating each other, which then maybe one
day will lead to officially boyfriend and girlfriend. And it's
kind of funny and awkward for them because coming off
people kind of forget like the reality of dating in
the real world. And you know, we've seen these people
get married to someone in day one and move in
on the telly that then when we see them off
(03:50):
the show, it's kind of like we still have the
expectation of, well, they're spending time together, so therefore they
must be boyfriend and girlfriend. But like that could be
months away for Elliott and Jamie if it ever. And
I kind of like the idea they're not labeling, they're
not rushing into it, they are just taking it like
day by day, because that means they might actually build
something that would be long lasting instead of just rushing
(04:12):
into something for the sake of what headlines and content,
you know, a media thing. But anyway, yeah, that's my
thoughts on it. And then while I was with Ellitt,
I just thought, well, what else is happening, mate? How
are things not spoke to you in a while? And
doing well on TikTok?
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Still all right? Well, any other big life up date
since we last spoke.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Not really, No, I'm kind of working on a few
big projects that I'll be talking about soon. And yeah,
just keep it busy, there's lots going on, lots of distractions, And.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
I noticed today you are the most followed person on
TikTok at the whole cast.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Really, yeah, crunch the numbers this morning, did you.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'd say Jamie's probably gonna take over me pretty soon,
where like Joscelyne for that number one spot on TikTok.
But yeah, cool, it's amazing. The TikTok thing's been so
much fun and like it's completely like spontaneously. I had
no idea I was going to be doing tiktoks like,
(05:15):
but yeah, it's been a fun rite. I love the
community that I built around it. It's almost like they're
close friends more than anything. Like the comments and stuff
they make are just like top tier, and I have
a lot of fun doing it. There's nothing behind it
apart from like just you know, taking the piss and
having a bit of fun with it.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
And what's the best freebie you've been offered so far?
And now the show's over.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Oh, there's a lot of stuff, but I don't know,
there's things that like if it's something that I really like,
Like like I wear a lot of industry clothing and
I always have like for ten years, even before I
think they had stores. I used to buy them in
like Maya and and for them to like send me
stuff and potentially do like collaborations with me, that's really
(05:57):
really cool because it's something that I've like always loved.
But I'm not gonna be out there, you know, promoting
jerky or like just any old, any old thing.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
You say that, now six months time, we'll check you on.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yeah, I'll be on a quirky jerky All right, well,
great to catch up.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
I'll let you get back to your friend. Who's a girl?
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Which one?
Speaker 1 (06:20):
And now if you're thinking, well, Josh, aren't you on honeymoon?
What you're doing a fashion week? I'm only going to
let you pod listeners in on this secret because it's
kind of like confusing to post on socials.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
But the content.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Rollout from the honeymoon is like forty eight hours behind
it the minute, and that's just because the editing of
the wedding took so long. So we are now back
in Sydney and living together, which I've just suppose I've
just done a spoiler, and from I think this weekend
Saturday or Sunday, all the content will have caught up
(06:53):
to present day, and then everything after that is like
the day it's happening with Stefano and I. Yeah, and
that's the point I kind of want to get to
because that was my whole concept. But it's just those
first few edits of the wedding whatever. It took a
little bit longer, but yeah, things are going well. Maybe
I'll say that spoiler a lot before I end this pod,
(07:14):
though I did actually ask Elliot as well, Yeah, you
got any advice for me with my new marriage, because
you've had two this year that didn't last very long.
So maybe you know what, what can I do that
you maybe didn't do. I'll maybe be pad with someone
who would be a good partner, could be a good start,
So I'm already one step ahead there maybe anyway, there
(07:35):
you go say it. You've been married happy twice this year. Yeah,
what advice have you got from it?
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Number one? Yes, voice good.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
Point Number two, don't patronize him.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Okay, anything else, that's it because my mom and you're
beneath him.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
My mom wanted me to be a much someone like
you know.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
I was touched by that. I thought that was so
beautiful your mum to say that love that loved your mom.
Thank you. I think I commented on it. I was like, thanks,
ma'm she.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
Could have been your mom in law.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Maybe yeah, well you're selling it, but now you you
just think I missed that boat. Don't patronize, go with
the flow, and and.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
Don't raise your voice. Don't forget that one very important.
Speaker 3 (08:19):
Great advice. I can see why you're mar
