I denne uges udsendelse kipper vi med flaget, for vi er selvfølgelig også nødt til at sige tillykke med fødselsdagen til Danmarks Radio som 1. april kunne fejre 100 år. Det hele startede tilbage i 1925 og igennem alle år har DR været et godt billede på udviklingen i den danske kultur. Ikke mindst på musikfronten og det er netop DR’s musikformidling som vi har fokus på i dette afsnit.

Vi kigger på nogle af de mange programmer (både på TV og radio), som var med til at sætte fokus på musikken især i 80’erne og 90’erne. I kan bl.a. se frem til fantastiske gensyn med Musikbutikken, Radio Rita, Go’ Morgen P3, Eldorado, 3773-Hitservice, Boogie og selvfølgelig også et par hitlister, Top 20 og Tjeklisten.

Derudover snakker vi om hvad licens kostede tilbage i 1925, vi lytter til Jørgen de Mylius’ radiodebut i 1963, vi speedsnakker med Kim Schumacher, vi synger kor med tidligere chefpolitiinspektør Per Larsen, vi idoliserer Leif Wivelsted, vi undrer os over hvordan DR kunne skræmme livet af os da vi var børn og så afslører Andy sine crushes på Katrine Jensenius og Kirsten Peüliche.
