Scripture Spotlight is the daily devo where the text is the star of the show. In the time it takes you to drive to work, get ready, or have your morning coffee break, you can get a daily dose of the word of God. We will work our way through a book, exegetically and in context, with real, practical application. Co-hosts Corey Sawyers and Garrett Sawyers are a father and son who love studying the Bible and want to help you learn. They bring their experience and perspectives from two different generations to the timeless word of God. We want to help you “Excel Still More” by giving you a way to make a daily dose of the word of God a part of your day. Scripture Spotlight is a way you can do that in only about 5 minutes a day!

Philippians 4:8 - Think On These Things. How and what we think will determine how we act. So, in order to serve Jesus and put others before self, we must first choose to think correctly! Philippians 4:7 - Peace That Guards. When we follow those four commands in 4:4-6, we can have the peace of God that protects our thoughts and feelings! Philippians 4:6— Don’t Worry. The third and fourth imperatives in this section show us how not to worry - pray to God!
