Today is a quick venture through 1 Kings. We catch up with the end of King David and we see the rise and fall of Solomon along with some future kings that cause some issues. In the midst of these kings, we see Elijah who begins to show us shadows of the Anointed One who is coming through miracles of abundance and resurrection. Then we move into John to see how the 1 Kings readings can inform our Gospel context as well as begin to notice the end is coming for Jesus in John. Join us this week on our adventure through the 1 Kings and John!
