Michelle Tavarez is a Police Captain within the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. She leads the Safe Neighborhoods Bureau which encompasses Gangs, Vice, Narcotics, Crime Guns Intelligence Center, and Violence Prevention Team. She has worked for LVMPD for 22 years and has been in a formal leadership role for the last decade.
