Trotz bedeutender rechtlicher Fortschritte für die LGBTQIA+-Community und einer Spitzenposition Deutschlands auf der europäischen Rainbow Map zeigt sich ein alarmierender Trend: Die Zahl queerfeindlicher Gewaltverbrechen nimmt laut aktuellen Statistiken drastisch zu. Besonders besorgniserregend ist, dass diese Entwicklung nicht bloß auf ein Wachstum der Community zurückzuführen ist, sondern auf eine tatsächliche Eskalation der Gewalt.
Viele dieser Straftaten werden nicht gemeldet, und Sichtbarkeit wird für zahlreiche queere Menschen zum Risiko im Alltag. Die Diskrepanz zwischen Gleichstellung auf dem Papier und fehlender Sicherheit bleibt groß.
