We discuss psychologically safe simulations and how they can benefit practice. We discuss the benefits of in-house resus simulations and how these can be achieved in urgent care. We also discussed a 4-hour in-house paediatric resus course that they run, which is endorsed as a resus refresher with the College.
It is important to check for hyphaema, blood in the anterior chamber of the eye, after trauma. It is also important to use a slit lamp to check for microhyphaema.
