Episode 13 | Released: 31st March 2025

Welcome back to the Twin Elements Podcast.

In this episode we discuss a super important part of hunting and thats what to do “After The Shot”!Whether a bowhunter or rifle hunter, the moment we squeeze the trigger and an arrow or projectile is sent on its way theres so much to take into account. With so many variables to consider its easy to see how animals are lost and not retrieved even if a good shot was made. In todays episode we give advice from years of following blood trails in an attempt to shorten the learning curve and lead to more animals recovered and less lost to the bush.

Today its a solo podcast and you’re Joining me, Ayden Doumtsis for an in-depth run down of what mental processes I go through in the seconds following a shot, right up until I lay hands on that animal.
