ผมเล่าเรื่องการไปร่วมประชุมวิชาการของสมาคม International Association of Computing and Philosophy ซึ่งได้จัดขึ้นที่มหาวิทยาลัย Twente ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ ในระหว่างวันที่ 1 - 3 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ผมได้เสนอบทความเรื่อง "ทรรศนะของพุทธปรัชญากับของสปิโนซาเกี่ยวกับความเป็นผู้กระทำของปัญญาประดิษฐ์" เรื่อง "ความเป็นผู้กระทำ" เกี่ยวกับว่าระบบจักรกลเช่นเอไอ จะสามารถริเริ่มกระทำการใดๆได้เองหรือไม่ โดยเสมือนว่ามี "ความตั้งใจ" หรือ "เจตนา" ที่จะทำเช่นนั้น ผมเสนอว่าทั้งทรรศนะของพระพุทธศาสนากับของสปิโนซา มีประเด็นที่น่าสนใจเกี่ยวกับปัญหานี้
