Speaker 1 (00:00):
So all right, guys. Injuries from the game. Leonard Floyd
had a shoulder, he'll be day to day, playing again.
Fouls Calf day to day. Brock Purdy had a right
elbow contusion with nerve inflammation. Most likely going to miss
this week, but no long term issues. You Seela's fine.

(00:20):
You see it, l It looks fine. That's it from
the game right now.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Go ahead, Kyle, what's your plan with Jake Moody this week?

(00:45):
Is he going to kick this final game? Are you
going to bring in some competition for him?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
No, He's going to kick this final game.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Have you talked to him? Did you see how everything
looks to snap in the hold on the extra point?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yeah, the man. I spoke to them yesterday after the game.
But yeah, the that was the only one that wasn't clean.
Still still needs to make it, but that that was
the one that wasn't a clean holding snap, which made
that one a lot tougher.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Kyle, the news though, I'm purty, are you? Are you?
How relieved are you? And what you're planning for? Who
you anticipate will start on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I'm I'm relieved, but I wasn't too concerned. I mean,
I wasn't too worried about it, just with the information
we had last night. So it was good to just
hear the same thing today. And we're just starting really
putting this game to bed right now and trying to
catch up with Arizona. So I'll decide that later in
the day.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
Kyle, is there any chance Mordecai in this game on Sunday?

Speaker 1 (01:54):
No, I mean, unless there's injuries.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Kyle.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
You talked about it being possibly a scramble game, so
that's why Dobbs played yesterday. I assume they had to
do with the offense, the way the offensive line was situation.
How did you feel the offensive line did and the
two tackles that alternated.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I thought, under the circumstances, they did a hell of
a job, you know, just coming in this week and
learning the offense and going out there and both of
them kind of sharing the responsibility, rotating, and I thought
they really competed well. And I thought the game went
well where you know, we had we got to avoid
a lot of third downs in the game, which helped,
and but but I thought those guys stepped it up

(02:38):
big time for situation they're in so proud of.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
Them, Kyle.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Looking at the inconsistencies on defense, there are a lot
of good plays with it, tackles for losses, past break
ups and others where they're explosives allowed. Is there anything
is that missed assignment?

Speaker 4 (03:06):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I don't know, lack of concentration? What is what is
the issue on the defense?

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I mean one, they're they're going against a very good
offense where it's going to challenge you in all areas.
You know, it's just their talent, their scheme, all all
of the above. So you know, I think that's they've
done that to a number of teams this year. You know,
I think we had I think there was two. You know,
they're there's shore motions and stuff and man coverages when
you get the stacks and you got to communicate. We

(03:36):
had two guys drop drop a guy, which they make
it tough on you, but those those are ones that
led to two big plays. I thought our tackling wasn't
great at the beginning, especially he's a tough back to
get down. But I thought some of the rangeles and
stuff what a guy gave us a chance to get
the third down better. And then at track that didn't
attract very well at all. So it was a number

(03:58):
of things, but UH got to be on it versus
an offense like that, and I thought we were at times,
but not enough and they made us pay.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Kyle, do you have an update on Charbury's award?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Oh? Yeah, he should be coming back here later today.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
And can you reveal the the personal reason?

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Uh? I kind of since he hasn't yet, I should
let him do that, but it's it's positive stuff, you know.
I'd like to, but I just haven't talked to him,
so I'll let him do that.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Okay, Kyle. Did you get a chance to talk to
Brock today?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
I haven't seen him today yet. No, just just talk
to him last night.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
I guess what are is?

Speaker 1 (04:44):
What?

Speaker 6 (04:44):
What were his spirits last night? And I don't know.
I don't want to know if you want to do
a season long summary. But how is he handled this year?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
I mean I think he's handled this year head on
and he hasn't ran from anything. He's attacked everything, plays
as hard as he can and works as hard as
he can and comes in always on Mondays and Tuesdays
and faces the truth of everything and comes back and
grinds and tries to get better each week. So I mean,
I guess I can talk about him more at the
end of the year. But I thought last night, you know,

(05:16):
he was he was disappointed in the turnovers, he was
disappointed in the loss, but just I mean, kind of
how he always is.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Carl.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
What was the issue on Saint Brown's touchdown catch?

Speaker 1 (05:43):
On which one.

Speaker 6 (05:45):
Saint Brown's fourth and goal touchdown catch?

Speaker 1 (05:50):
It wasn't an issue. We just we had a soft
Cloud that didn't drive on the ball hard enough.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Left and left tackle? Was the plan going in to
rotate heck and Pleasance.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yes, yeah, We're gonna play both of them and let
them share the challenge.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
And how did you feel that sorry you broke up,
and how did you feel their performance was?

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I was real proud of them, I thought they I mean,
you know, I don't think I've ever had to start
a guy who was on a different teams practice squad
the week before. So for those guys to come in,
come in during Christmas week and to really just figure
out the language so they could do their assignments right
and and then get out there and on Monday Night
football and then try to perform too. I was learned

(06:46):
a lot of respect from those guys.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
Carl, did you look at the Parasol's game last night
it's sort of a breakout game for him or just
sort of a culmination of what you've been seeing throughout
the year.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I'm more of a culmination. I mean, I think it's
so that's the hardest thing with wide receivers in this
day and age, that everyone's judge off of their stats,
which you know can tell a lot sometimes, but you
know that's just when they get the ball or not,
and that's not always based off of what they do.
That's based off of circumstances that happened with the other

(07:22):
twenty one players on the field, because there's a lot
and you can play a really good game and have
no numbers and there's nothing you did wrong about it,
but people act like he didn't because they you know,
you need to see those numbers from guys when they
touched the ball. So I was happy that he got
more opportunities that have worked out that way, and when
he did, he came through with them and showed the

(07:43):
stuff that we like about him, so everyone can see it.

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Kyle, did you have a lot of some of those
games that Texas when you had a really good game
but just didn't didn't put up the stats.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
I tel that's all mine were, so I could have
just got fall more still be planned. Just joking. Please
don't take that seriously.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
Oh uh hey, does Berber have a chance to play Sunday?
And if so, would he be your starting off circle?

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yes? He would Right now, it's not looking like.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
That, okay, uh Ki.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yesterday Jed York said to Tim Kyle Coummy that you
and John Lynch are not going anywhere. I assume that
that's been the feeling between you and the organization for
a while. But just hearing that, does that make you
feel more confident in your future with the four Ninners?

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Not really. I feel confident just I've got a good
relationship with Jed and you know, we we speak almost
every day, So hearing stuff in the media doesn't really
change much for me. It's you know, it's more what
I have between him and myself, and.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
That relationship has always been open and consistent.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
Yeah, definitely, No, Jeded is very easy to talk to.
You know, we've known each other here for now eight years,
and we feel very fortunate for how he is through
the good and the bad, and the communication really never
changes regardless of what's going on. All right, guys, we'll

(09:36):
see you in mam all right, guys. Thanks to you, guys,
Tom all, thank you.
