Speaker 3 (02:10):
I don't well, that's why you're not in the locker room.

Speaker 5 (02:14):
Let's start the locker room.

Speaker 6 (02:16):
Nice. Sorry, right there around here, who y'all finding for
las time we thought was a professional turns out of
his wife.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Michael Parsons was facing it twenty five thousand dollars.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Fine if he didn't show.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Up, Oh really, somebody.

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Decided they wouldn't want to get a league any money.
All right, all right, clans and ed going they tell.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
You what what do we learned from mister Parsons.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
You know, he talked a long time. You know I've
been you know, talked to him yesterday. But he talked
a long time, and as we talked before, he was
never going to be the poor of the marshal On Lynz.
He can't help himself. I mean, he likes to talk.
I was giving y'all something, y'all, like my tweets, y'all.
I mean, this is all things he said today, y'all,
y'all like when I talk. You know, he was doing
us a favor.

Speaker 8 (02:59):
You.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
He was never gonna be marched on Linz. Okay, he
was never just gonna show up there. What again? This
is again, as I said, that's why he got in
trouble in the first place, because he likes to talk.
And he admitted I was wrong. I made a mistake.
I apologized, and you know what he said, I didn't
elaborate further. I didn't elaborate enough of what I was

(03:20):
trying to say about Mike McCarthy and Jack Martin and
all the other stuff. But yeah, he said, I didn't
talk enough because I was trying to get y'all some
and I was trying to get out of there. But
I didn't I didn't elaborate. I should elaborate a little more.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
When when he's not rushing the passer he is what
a content creator he is, and after his comments about
Mike McCarthy, he created quite a bit of content for everyone.
And at that point it became in his best interest
to say nothing. Became another story that he still wasn't talking,
and so today it made sense for him to create

(03:53):
a new element to the story, like speaking again, and
so there you have it. But he was I thought
he said a couple of good things. I mean, he
said he he meant no disrespect to Mike McCarthy's career,
but he also did say that, Hey, you know, I've
only known the guy for like four years. I didn't
know his whole career at Green Bay. I wasn't really
an NFL.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
He didn't have Google.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
I wasn't an NFL fan.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
He said, I was. He was asked about here because
he had Jory. When George he missed up. He said
she was asking about here and I was only how
many do you know? He said, I was only focused
on here, is what he was trying to say. Even
though he.

Speaker 6 (04:31):
Said I could have done better, I was angry. I
didn't finish my thoughts. I wasn't as thoughtful as I
usually as I am. I didn't think people would put
it in that context, but that's on me. I lost.
I didn't finish what I was saying. I was trying
to hurry up in the locker room. Next time, I'll
be more careful about my message. So you know, that's
my apology. That's what he said.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
My bad. So so there and that will be the
next time. He's not you know, he's not I'm not
talking to the media. He's there.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
And he also and he also said to me, the
most important thing are the other players. They're the guys
I go to battle with. The coach is another secondary.
He cares most about his relationship with his players and
honoring and respecting them.

Speaker 3 (05:09):
And when I was uston, I would That's what he
was trying to do. He was trying to make it
about the guys he goes to war with. And and yes,
Mike got dropped into grease, but he was really trying
to turn yeah, because he was, but he was trying
to again, that's what it was. Initial attention was to
to honor that and do that. A couple other things

(05:31):
he said though. He talked about, you know, leadership in
this tough time and you know he's been here fad
nothing but success, whether you people think it was success
or not. I know they only got one were people
will argue down and that what they've done in the
last three years can't but and so bet you take

(05:51):
twin five so bad. But he talked about working in
the leadership. Has Zimbrous challenged him to be a better
leader doing it, not not not stopped doing this podcast.
That is whod other Nobody told him to stop doing
this podcast, but to be a better leader. And he
talked about you know, he don't like letting coaches down,
coach being mad at it. He wouldn't elaborate on the

(06:11):
things that Zimmer talked to him about, but he talked
to him about possibly being a better leader and doing
things differently and learning from in this situation and being
a light and.

Speaker 6 (06:21):
A bad question. His most questionable thing was quote, y'all
gonna say, Mike Zimmer didn't have all his pieces, but
he sure put the damn good defense together. Is that
what we're going to say?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
He said, we're going to say that. He and that's
the thing about We also asked Hi about you know,
I was trying to phrase it. I said, Mike, I
was gonna say, Michael, you know, I don't want to
get cued of making too big of a deal about
things you said, but I want to podcast. But you
went on your podcast and said we're a good team,
but you really mean that what you meaning and he

(06:54):
really meant that. He said he tried to growth and improve. Yes,
here talking about the growth of the team and how
they've grown to the defense, and we talked. I thought
the defense played okay at times, and it did show
some growth against Houston. It's hard to say that when
you lose thirty four to ten. But that's why you're
talking about comportary football, because the offense did nothing to

(07:15):
help them, you know, when they turned that thing into
a blowout because the problems in the offense. You know,
got a fake punt, you got you know.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
And every he said, he's basically saying every opponent, unlike
the last three years, they all know our offensive limitations.
They know they don't have to score thirty five or
forty points to beat us. It's gonna take a lot
less than that given what we're playing. But that one
so they can play a more deliberate, less risky style.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
Can you.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
Is it possible for Michael to be a better leader.

Speaker 7 (07:43):
Yes, hell, I mean, and I say that in the
sense that everybody's not built to be a leader.

Speaker 5 (07:47):
Some people are meant to do what they do.

Speaker 6 (07:49):
Can just be a great player, and that's it.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
That's what I mean.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
And there's nothing wrong with that, because you ask people
to do things that they're not really capable of doing
because it ain't in them.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Well, back off with what you said.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Ed.

Speaker 4 (08:01):
On the way over here, I was listening to a
podcast with Dwayne Wade and Pat Riley and he went
back to the sixth season when they played Dallas and
got beat by forty and Riley said, we're just sitting
in the locker room. Everybody just knows it is not good.
And Gary Payton Senior, it's funny got called seniors.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Oh they did say Gary Page gp us us Payton.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
But I was probably is like Gary Paynton senior. And
he just said, uh, Gary's so what we're gonna do?
He said, I looked at I looked at Gary said
what are you gonna do?

Speaker 5 (08:30):
And he said.

Speaker 4 (08:30):
Then I just went off and he said to Gary,
you can be a better leader. You know why you'd
be a better follow me? Why don't you follow me?
I can help us get where we want to go.
But it starts with Gary, I need you to follow me.
And we talked about Michael Parsons, who are.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Gonna follow on this team.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
My problem was.

Speaker 5 (08:49):
Letting finish.

Speaker 6 (08:50):
I'm letting it. I was always looking to finish. Yes,
I'm fascinated by what you're saying.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
What he pat Riley was saying is as a coach,
if you will listen to me, I have a blueprint
of how we can get there. But you're doing your
thing right now. You're worried about getting it done your way.

Speaker 5 (09:05):
You being GP And he's like, and he ain't want
none yet.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
So you're really talking about following Zimmer, crying the road
as opposed to some other places.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
And what have we been hearing about these guys defensively
this year?

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Oh yeah, they ain't trying to follow Zimmer. But that
also happened when hired a dude on one year did Yeah,
But that's.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
That and the true leader is Jerry Jones. But I
would say this's not love. These leadership things and and
and chemistry things and brotherhood things and all the other stuff.
If them refs would have been cheating. In two thousand
and six, we wouldn't be talking about great leadership. That
team was in OSE six and we beat the Mavericks
because there was a lot of cheating going on, a
lot of phatom files. There are none to do. Had
none to do with Gary Payton and pat Riley. He

(09:46):
had to do with Dwayne Wade making a living at
the line. Okay, I was here, you was here, you
watched that. But it's it's it's okay look back and say,
that's why they won because Gary Payton followed Mike mccart's
leader sailf that's book.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
That just me podcast.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You don't have to leave. I'm just talking about docte leadership.
I mean, there are a lot of things that come down.
I mean, to me, you can be a bad team
no good leaders. You know, you don't just have to
be a winner to have leader.

Speaker 6 (10:12):
You know, it's well, the Cowboys had good leaders. Michael
Irvin and Troy Aikman were in the locker room when
they went one in fifteen.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yes they were one fifteen and and and Trey Akeman
and Micha Irvins love him to death, But when he
was roping and opening and shooting and everything else, was
that good leadership? On the field. Yeah, exactly, you said
we parsied. You said we parsed it because they won titles?
Was that good? Do you think Jimmy Johnson would okay
with the White House? You think Jimmy Johnson would okay

(10:41):
with all the other stuff they were doing in training camp?

Speaker 6 (10:43):
No, I think those guys so those that first year,
I'm just.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Saying though, is that leadership? No, they just won. They
had Hall of Fame players and they were the best
at what they did and they won.

Speaker 6 (10:59):
You know what it was? Or that maybe can't apply
to Micah's situation now, is he experiences losing for the
first time at the NFL level. Is you know, Troy
and Michael and those guys like they learned that first
year how hard it is to win in the NFL
because because they did nothing but lose. As hard as
they worked, as much as it meant to them, as
great leaders as they would prove to be, they did

(11:20):
nothing but lose. And so they a work ethic was
instilled in them, if they didn't already have it, that
this is what it's going to take to win. What
you're doing now is not enough to win. So that's
what Micah needs to learn from this if he's going
to emerge in the near future leader of this team.

Speaker 7 (11:34):
It as hard to win, as you know, as every
game is decided by four or five plays.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
In essence, it would also help. Like those nineties teams,
they learned to win. But I wish Michael had some
tripletists to learn to win with. Okay, give me some
triplests on defense to learn to win with. I mean again,
great players. See you see what I'm saying. Yes, Michael

(12:00):
learn how to win and all this stuff, but he
ain't got no partner to come win him. It don't
matter what he was wasn't it.

Speaker 5 (12:05):
Don't maunt like it was praising mind. It's just just
not long ago.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
Yeah, he was.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Trying.

Speaker 6 (12:13):
He was pumping up his not trying, it's being I'm
trying to be a leader.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Well he would, He was being a leader by sure confidence.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
At this point. Was trying to be a leader can
sometimes be a bad thing if you're not the right guy.
That's what I took away from listening to your entire content.

Speaker 7 (12:28):
Follow Zimmer, follow pat Riley. They both got ring, both
got d I agree, got a few more back When
you wasn't you want to be.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
We were both trusted, Zimmer was leading it.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Okay, you're just gonna be a sething let a cuss word.

Speaker 9 (12:50):
No I'm not.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I'm just saying we was. We all here. You know again,
it's all about the about the team because I was
also here when and when was leading Clayton.

Speaker 5 (13:01):
Holmes Claytons man in South Carolina alone, God, why are.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
You the reason why they would draft this man?

Speaker 6 (13:17):
On the Cowboys podcast, tarnishing the glory or yep, I'm
talking about not enough as it is.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
I'm talking about leadership and brotherhood and chemistry and all love.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Hes gonna call me listen.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
I like great players, play great, great play great. No, No,
they were great players. Give me some more of them,
you know, as you know back in the olden days,
and I've heard Mike Man, we just ain't got no
dogs in the locker room. You know, you got too
many nice guys. That's what Mike OsO told me, what
you're doing during this past thirty years. He come lock
room with these We got too many nice guys, Holmes. Yes,

(13:55):
I need some guys to go to the club with
me at night. Too many nice as on the team
they go to v That was what Mike said was
identified as a problem.

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Okay, and Michael now says the way to fix it
all is to hire.

Speaker 3 (14:12):
Dion and Edge Drafts to do it right. Yeah, that's
a two things.

Speaker 6 (14:18):
The other thing that uh Mike hah spoke about is
this relationship with.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
A break.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
But that's a good way to.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
Use to take a break.

Speaker 6 (14:27):
I'm trying to lead, I should have been trying to lead.

Speaker 4 (16:57):
Media mash brought to you by nobody right here on
Dallas Cowboys dot Com. He got the author Jean Jaque Taylor,
former Cowboy beat Right. We've had Murder w f A,
a Pro Football Hall of Famer, the man who once
wrote the story by any number, five hundred coaches could
have won that Super Bowl that Jimmy did.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
And you got a man who've.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
Seen no winning at all in his career. We've seen
but but he's become most trusted.

Speaker 6 (17:18):
But they haven't exhausted. The four hundred and ninety nine
person list. Yeah, I only like the number seven or eight.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
Got covered seven of them.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
I got kelling on that list.

Speaker 6 (17:30):
What are you gonna Are you gonna do.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
The practice reporter, I'm just looking at it, man.

Speaker 6 (17:33):
No, No, that doesn't help anybody knows.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
Zach Martin, no Tylers Smith, no Nick Vigil whoever that
is about CD. Lamb did not practice uh for CD. Yes,
but Mark dron Bland he taught today and he was
full and he's he said he's not cleared to play.
Of course, Jersey in the radio that he was playing,
you'd have.

Speaker 6 (17:54):
Been through this before.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Dron Blad said he's not a full goal yet, but
he did practice full with no issues. Brandon Cooks, I
was limited, but he apperiously be read to go. Trevor
on Diggs was limited. Uh choo more dog who hasn't
played all year, was full. So we may see him certainly.
Jason Jack Ferguson. Don't expect to see him. He may
be out two weeks. You got the short week after it.
This week. The same thing with Zach Marty.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Maybe I'm play where he got againcussion?

Speaker 3 (18:20):
No it was I don't remember.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Did he get blasted or he hit his head wrong?

Speaker 6 (18:23):
No, I think he hit his head on the ground.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Yeah, because I didn't remember, that's all.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
I didn't remember particularly that you.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
I wasn't even sitting in my seat.

Speaker 6 (18:32):
I remember walking to the sidelines early in the game
and kind of holding his head or justing his helmet.

Speaker 3 (18:36):
I wasn't even at my seat yet when that first
touch went to the touch. What is going on?

Speaker 6 (18:43):
It was just a practice.

Speaker 5 (18:46):
Was sitting down with mixing with I was.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
I had to move. You know, we were at the
left room.

Speaker 9 (18:51):
I was.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
He looked up and you heard you heard mixed cheer.
It was like we knew Houston had the ball mix
cheer like, this isn't good. It isn't good because we
knew there were enough Houston fans in the thing. And
he look up and we were just looking like so
then it got called back and then they decided.

Speaker 1 (19:11):
And make it.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
It was too easy, and we just thought it was
gonna be And I started writing my the fact that
they had began to see the story anyway. Uh, but
Bland talked today. He uh, he talked about the frustration
of the injury and he just wants to be comfortable
and and and make sure it's right.

Speaker 6 (19:26):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
It sounds to me like why he hadn't played.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Yeah, I mean it's it just hasn't been right. And
he you know, Jerry went the rady esterday. I said,
or was that today? Actually said that there's no reason
why he shouldn't play. 's sense to make the set back,
but Blad said, you know, it wasn't one hundred percent Strey.
He was gonna play, but he's you know, offully trying
to do that, and that's the efforting that way. I
remember the last time was a few weeks ago when
they thought he was gonna play. They thought I was

(19:51):
gonna play the media Friday, he was, you know, not playing.

Speaker 7 (19:55):
So it reminds me of the Michael Gallop thing where
you just don't have confidence in it. And you know,
the other thing is every injury is different and it
might not feel right, you know how your body is
supposed to feel.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
It's just a confidence because firstly, just because it looks
health healed on the scan. It's about whether you have
confidence in moving and cutting and doing the things you
need to do to be successful.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
Did James Jones talk about on the F one?

Speaker 9 (20:16):
Did he?

Speaker 6 (20:18):
But he's not really hurting. He needs to be out there, Damian,
what do you too?

Speaker 9 (20:22):
Right?

Speaker 6 (20:23):
He said the same thing about Micah.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Yes, yeah, Michael talked about he was disappointed and it
should have been he really talked, Yeah, he really talked
about that. He was disappointed, but he lost respect for him.
That's a former plan on question my injury. Don't don't
bring up my injury and like I just been sitting
there not trying to play when you know I had
a real injury.

Speaker 6 (20:41):
But he had nothing but praise for Dan Quinn, his
former defensive coordinator and the new head coach in Washington.

Speaker 5 (20:47):
Was it like the McCarthy praise.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
It was better than that was so it was well thought.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
It was very well reasoned start to finish. Yes, it
was a complete thought.

Speaker 5 (20:56):
He cared about he said, DQ put in work.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Nobody passed away in the in the process of getting
from beginning to end. He actually started with that DQ
has gotten him tickets for this game for his family, Yeah,
said when d decided he was leaving here.

Speaker 13 (21:14):
Sorry that man for teas man, I mean the NFL
has changed, He said, no, no, no, no, I don't
even that's not unusually.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
That's not unusual. When you first of all, if you
ever tried to get tickets and you get them through
the team there, noble, you've seen George Love family.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
Visiting the visit family.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
They're at the top of the state. They give the
opposing team the worst tickets and ours. If you want
good tickets, you have to go through a player or
someone on the other team for your family. This is
not unusual. It happens more often than you think.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
I think it's unusual.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
I'm just saying he coach, Well, they have relationships.

Speaker 5 (21:59):
Just go with people that right is with I mean.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
I feel confident Michael got enough money if he wanted
to to go to ticket mask and say the.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
Next contract, second contract, any man.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Paid for the tickets he doesn't want to secure. You know,
I can get it, get through tickets. Like I call, hey,
you some tickets?

Speaker 6 (22:14):
Are you Are you on his legal staff now or
something like? You would just defend everything, he.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
Says, defends added dak, He's out, he has added a
new client.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
And I'm giving context in the situation because I deal
with tickets. You know, I did we know, we knowicket
and I want to know and I want nobody. Okay,
I'm just saying, wait till the bucket in Columbus waiting
I deal with I'm just saying I'm just giving context
to the situation. I know, on the outside looking at it,
it seems crazy, but that's how you have to get

(22:45):
decent seats and you want your family out. You don't
want them up in not lead that. That stadium is horrible.
That's the worst stadium in the league. It's falling apart
for that butt kicking.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
They might yeah, but that lead further away the better.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
How many is he getting here?

Speaker 6 (22:59):
He didn't say, he.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Say, he wouldn't say, actually, but he said, got a
lot of fams because it's close to Pennsylvania. He's got
a lot of family, a lot of friends and family
coming to the game.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
So as you say that, I go back to a
something I did earlier this year with Barry Switzer and Troy,
and Troy talked to Barry.

Speaker 5 (23:18):
Yeah, we all sat next to each other.

Speaker 6 (23:19):
Yes, it was it was it was a port was Barry.

Speaker 5 (23:23):
Yes, it was a good, fascinating conversation. Yes, they're very different.

Speaker 9 (23:26):
But he.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
Barry talked about how Keith Jackson called him for the
NFC Championship game a Texas stadium, asked him for twenty
five tickets. Yes, yes, his former OU player, and Barry
did get them.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
So I was gonna say, yes, you know Switzer got
for sure. Yeah, that's too many tickets.

Speaker 6 (23:51):
That Barry was the piano and.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Some black stuff.

Speaker 5 (23:57):
He basically said that.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
Barry.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I there asked somebody but very close enough to us
to Barry basically say, yeah, you asked.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
Somebody for twenty not you not family, You're not on
the team. It's the biggest game in my life. I
do got family. Twenty five tickets.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
It was twenty five, may even been thirty. But he
asked for that is like takes. I mean, I know
you won titles with me in college, but twenty five tickets,
nog bro to you did the right thing what he wanted.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
Hey, yes it is.

Speaker 4 (24:28):
I know the other thing about that conversation, Keith, which
was interesting that I did not know because Barry and
Troy are more than just fine. But Barry talked about
how he called Terry Donahue at UCLA, and what I
didn't know, and Troy said is that Terry Donahue made
him try out. He had to do a workout for

(24:50):
Terry Donahue in order to transfer to UCLA. I'm fascinating
because you a wishbone quarterback. Why is Berry sending me
a good quarterback? I don't really trust you like that. Berry,
let me let me just check it out.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Makes it He wasn't He wasn't a wishbone quarterback.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
We're coming from Wisbone prog.

Speaker 3 (25:08):
Yeah, but you know they was supposed to switch to
the eye.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Are you really telling me this?

Speaker 3 (25:13):
No, are you telling me this?

Speaker 1 (25:15):
I know what number ten you do?

Speaker 3 (25:16):
Hey, you tell me? You know he they switched to
the eye for Troy. We're really doing Yeah, we're doing
this this twist it.

Speaker 6 (25:25):
Let's do it on the book promo tour.

Speaker 3 (25:31):
Listen to the eye.

Speaker 6 (25:34):
Well you guys vicious, Oh yeah we are.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
I'm glad you want like you to We didn't.

Speaker 4 (25:43):
We don't like you said here, just to let you know.
Media man, tough crowd baby. Yes, yes, so d Q
is is love. Was there any mention of Washington defensive
coordinator Joe Jr. Who wanted the job here as the
Cowboys defensive coordinator.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Lucky didn't get it?

Speaker 9 (26:04):
You know?

Speaker 6 (26:06):
Like I said, I talked to one and done got
four or five years in Washington.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Like I said, I talked to yesterday. I talked to
Jordan Lewis. I thought the hooker and they had nothing
but love for for Wit, certain the hooker was a safety.
He focused on the safeties here. Uh he said he
still talks to Wit to this day. You know, Michael
said he didn't have the same relations with with you know,
he had a d Q because you know, Witt was
more of a secondary guy.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (26:30):
But just talking to people close to Wit, Mike McCarthy
had promised him a defense coordinator job well back in
the Green Bay days. He'd been with Mike McCarthy in
two thousand and eight and he thought he was gonna
get one of the Green Bay got passed over a
couple of times. He has thought he would had a

(26:51):
chance to get this job. And if you listened to
Mike McCarthy, he may have wanted to get to give
him this job. Jerry wanted the veteran coach and they
were going with them. Uh. He went appreciative of the
opportunity with Quinn and everybody links at McQuinn. But he's
really on McCartney's tree. This is McCarthy's guy, and so

(27:13):
I'm sure he has some motivation coming into this game.
Joe Witt does.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
We're gonna bring Dan Campbell like atmosphere doing that.

Speaker 3 (27:21):
Yeah, and he's a bit he blitzes more than the
Quinn does.

Speaker 6 (27:24):
Come you know, So I mean it's just a silly
it's not gonna be a good day to be a
Cooper Rush.

Speaker 7 (27:30):
Now it's the silliness of I'm the head coach, is
my last year and I can't even pick the DC
that I won't.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
In my last year. I mean, it's just absurd.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
Man.

Speaker 6 (27:37):
But if you're Joe Witt and you're making a business
decision as to whether you want to be here with
a coach on an expiring contractor you want to go
to Washington. We're starting brand new and have four or
five years on your deal. He made the right decision,
whether whether he got to choose or not, it turned
out to be a good.

Speaker 3 (27:55):
Decision for him.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
But you know, coaches, we wouldn't have been on our
last year.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. He certainly thought that. And
his dream chilt. His dream with the coach with the
Cowboy Joe Wick going back to today, Yeah, his dream
with the coach at Cowboy. This, this is where he
wanted to be. So uh, he wanted to be defense
acording to the Cowboys. Now defense coding to commanders and

(28:20):
where the whoopson Cowboys?

Speaker 1 (28:21):
But on say a game plan has been labeled pain?

about being in the fight the other night?

Speaker 6 (30:56):
Who?

Speaker 5 (30:56):
Michael Harson?

Speaker 3 (30:57):
He didn't, but I did talk to Brandon Cooks or
glet you brought that up. He said that half the
team was at the fight. They had Dad. Yes, Michael
was there.

Speaker 6 (31:06):
They're gonna be at the fight Sunday.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
He said, half a team was at the fire. You
brought that up. Really, one of the things I wanted
to bring up. Half team was at the fight Friday night.
They had a sweet and Cooks and Michael were down
stairs with Netflix on the floor. So he talked about that.
Cooks talked about that. It was a He said, I'm
thirty one. I got a chance to see Mike Tyson fight.
I said, no, you did you see Mike. You saw

(31:28):
Mike Tys tepping the ring. You ain't see Mike Tyxa fight.
I saw Mike Tyson fight. You didn't see Mike Tyx fight. Okay,
this was not we saw get knocked out real? You
know you didn't see Yeah, you didn't see Mike Tyson fight.
But yeah, half the team was there, you know. You know,
we asked Mike McCarthy about that. He want his daughters
wanted to go, and he took his daughters there because

(31:49):
when we saw you know, the videos everything, he was
walking by himself, like he was lost in the stadium.
People just see this. They might just randomly walking by yourself,
you know whatever. But the Happy team was there. It's
always an event. I was talking to someone else about this,

(32:12):
maybe it was last week about them having a fight
and having an event at the stadium and some player
got overserved and it was told on you come back,
had their wives everything there. But yeah, Cook said he
was just he was really impressed with how the stadium looked.

(32:33):
And they looked good on TV. I mean he's used
to he's out definitely side of the curtains, but you
know how the lord h the uh the uh just
the lights and this it was, you know, they put

(32:54):
on the show, was a great show and looked good.
He just he was impressed with the whole scene, you know.
And and they were all out on a Friday night
before the game.

Speaker 6 (33:01):
They should have a big game there, someday, some big
NFL game the Super Bowl Championship game McCarthy.

Speaker 3 (33:08):
McCarthy hosting, Yeah.

Speaker 6 (33:11):
They should have a Jerry should host one of those championships.

Speaker 1 (33:13):
He might have been running to the roof fell off
last week.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
I forgot we did we we we had? We went
and took who won the We did the fight? I
can't remember what we had write it, Dawn. We made
picks for the fight?

Speaker 3 (33:25):
Yeah we we was wrong?

Speaker 1 (33:27):
Yeah, yeah, I really think you.

Speaker 6 (33:28):
Guys really picked the old guy.

Speaker 7 (33:29):
I didn't you really think the thing was a forst
with two minute rounds and pillows for the.

Speaker 3 (33:36):
Two minute ride. It was the pillowful glove. But if
you watch some of the things and how Mike was
pulling his punches, he started to pulled his punches early.
Couldn't you know there were brules in there that you
you had to go eight rounds, get all your money,
and those really rules.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
I don't know if those were true or not, because
I can't believe it, just because
