Speaker 2 (00:10):
The Worlds of Pigeon podcast.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
This is Patriots Unfiltered, presented by Toyota's official website for
deals by a Toyota dot com.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
All right, welcome to Patriots Unfiltered. Quick open today. Uh,
it is Thursday.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
The kids graduation. I have things got messed up with on.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
My graduated graduation from where kindergarten? Kindergarten? They have graduations
for kindergarten, cap and gown, the whole thing.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Well, not the gown, but the caps.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Five songs, real ages. Five songs? Now, is there? Valedictorian
Mike is leaning more into his music.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
So what was the selections?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Five songs?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
They saw colors, They sung a thank you song, they
did one from Taylor as like a fun thing for
the parents, and I don't remember the other two.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
So did your son graduate magna cum crayons? That that's great?

Speaker 5 (01:09):
There you go, congratulations, Luke. That's a big accomplishment.

Speaker 6 (01:13):
You remember here when they graduated from first grade? They
can have you went to choreograph first grade grad that's.

Speaker 7 (01:19):
Ridiculous, exad Maybe you can help me. What's the graduation song?
When we were like, yeah, graduation, yeah, yeah, yeah, was
that playing that one?

Speaker 5 (01:32):
And it's been just such a crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
You know, it's funny because you, I guess, Paul, you
were talking about you had graduation party season last week,
and so it started making me think, like did I
go to any graduation parties after high school? And I
guess I did, but of course they weren't my own.
And then in college, I didn't even go to my
own graduation, like I didn't. I didn't attend my graduation.

(01:58):
Were you like Donna Martin or something? I'm and I
lived off campus. I really didn't feel like part of that,
Like I just I feel you just give me my diploma,
I'm good. Same.

Speaker 8 (02:06):
I went to the small one for my school, and
then right after I got my diploma, I walked outside
and texted my family, come outside, like we can beat
traffic and get a good spot. But the big giant
like commencement, me and my roommate skipped and I think
we watched Bob's Burgers on our couch all day.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Yeah, so I don't know. I guess did I miss
out on?

Speaker 4 (02:25):
But you didn't go to graduation parties in high school.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
No, I said, I guess I did. I didn't have one.
None of my I didn't have one, none of none
of my close friends had one. But I think we
we you know, uh crashed a couple of you know,
other people in our class.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
I was having like a major home renovation my parents
were doing when I graduated, so we had a big
college one.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
But I went to everybody's graduation party in high school. Yeah,
that was great.

Speaker 7 (02:50):
We had a time.

Speaker 4 (02:51):
So it's like free rein to drink.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I was gonna say, it's all about the underage drinking,
the stress of the parents and the people hosting the party,
and the tire the kids to find places did.

Speaker 6 (03:00):
Stress is a great word, Like I'm going out of
my mind right now, Like I don't want any of
that going on at my house and get shots in
The're so definitely afraid of something bad happening, and you know,
you're like you're taking keys from people, but someone leaves
that you don't know, like it's just it really is stressful.
And then some some parents it's like there's nothing you know,

(03:22):
Like TEJ refers to those as the Amish parties, and
then the others, it's like people just walking around olden.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
I'm like, that's not happening. I told TJ's like, that's
not happening here.

Speaker 6 (03:34):
We had let.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
Everybody know, I had a duel one with my sister
because she graduated college the same year I graduated high school,
so we did it together. And she was twenty two
so she had, you know, old enough to drink and everything.
So my parents did the keys thing. They just said, yeah,
the ten of you, you're all staying here or your
parents are coming to pick you up and they're going
to come and say talk to us and say I'm

(03:57):
taking him with me, and the whole thing. But we
have a huge one.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Of letting my kid have a prom party. Oh just
remember laying in bed at three in the morning, going
please let it, please let it. I love.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
Yeah, well you had a bunch of drunk college girls
at your party, so that must have been.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Maybe all right, Well we do we do have an
announcement the Tom Brady Statue. I know we've had a
lot of emails and calls. When's it going to happen.
It is going to happen, and it's going to be
on August eighth, prior to the Patriots and Commander's preseason game.

(04:38):
So I'm assuming Tom will be there for that game.
And uh, they're going to unveil the statue and there's
a hype video on Patriots dot com as we speak
for the statue. So there we go. I can't wait

(04:58):
for that.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
Oh today is twelve twelve. Yeah, yeah, six twelve, I
should say.

Speaker 9 (05:02):
So we're the year Anniversity's the announcement.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
There we go. I got it.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Sorry, I've been was occupied with that concert last night.

Speaker 9 (05:08):
We got a little true it was a great newfound
Playboy CARDI fan.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
No, my son sure is.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
They know all the words and everything, but great concerts here.
I just I think they do a great job putting
on the shows.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
And what's the next step in female fashion?

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Just naked? Yeah, that's no.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
There were definitely a lot of a lot of girls
taking selfies.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
If I looked in the wrong direction, I would have
been arrested.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Last no, Grandpa, I was sitting with my wife, so
I had that I was, you know, blinders blinders on.
But it's all I mean, just the amount of time
spent taking selfies up in the stands of like my
wife's like they took like fifty pictures, like what is
going you know, and like they're just getting everything piece.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
So anti sefie. I guess it's something like that, but
I'm an anti selfie when you go on vacation and
you take selfies, like what's the point take pictures of
what you're seeing?

Speaker 8 (05:56):
Yes, so many great photos are ruined by someone standing
in them.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Right as soon as the show starts to it's just
the whole audience.

Speaker 1 (06:05):
And the other things up, like like, uh, you know,
you go to a game, a sporting event and you're
you're just holding your phone videotape. Are you gonna you
need to prove to somebody that you were there? Like
why are you doing that right? Right?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Or you're gonna sit back down? And I know I'm
gonna rewatch that concert. I didn't pay attention, right.

Speaker 8 (06:22):
I love going to the beach and it's like families everywhere.
And then some girls just like recreating her own sports
illustrated photo shoot for like her thousand Instagram followers.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
What beach are you at? Just just asking for a.

Speaker 9 (06:36):
Friends, all of them, all of them now.

Speaker 1 (06:40):
Not the ones I go to, sending that kids and
exactly beaches everywhere may Flowers younger, Yeah, much younger. Yeah,
they actually had some brawls there a couple of years ago.
They had to like do something with the parking, like
it's really bricked of now. And then on the beach,

(07:02):
like kids were getting into fights and stuff.

Speaker 9 (07:05):
These young kids and trash the beaches.

Speaker 5 (07:09):
The day when you were when you were patrolling the
beaches is like the alpha dog of Cape Cod.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I was the mayor of Corporation Beach and Dennis. But
you know, you go out there and you start doing
your day drinking and you haven't eaten yet, and you
know you get drunk.

Speaker 10 (07:26):
Or faster when you Darty if you will the day party, Darty,
good job up with thanks boys.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
So all right, So a little note that didn't get
announced or anything, but it's just an observation. Uh, Marty
Maphu now being listed officially as a linebacker, And we
talked in the past about you know, are we worried
about linebacker depth And I'm sure that this is the
answer to that. But just in I thought that they're saying, okay, Marty,

(08:02):
you're a linebacker now. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Thoughts, Well, I'd start with I think he's a little
banged up again, which was disappointing. And I think he's
been a full participant and that has been the thing
that's hurt him the most, other than the position flexibility.
I think it's a move that makes sense given the
scheme change. So he's gonna he's gonna have to get
healthy and he's gonna have to somehow start to string
days together because it's hard to say, even if he

(08:25):
plays well in that position, is this really a guy
we can can count on. He needs to prove that
he can stay healthy. Hopefully he can do that in camp.
We remember last year. I think it was like same thing.
It was like two practices in maybe the first day
I think pads maybe that was it he got he
got dinged up and then he was dealing with that
until he jumped in in September and like played the
whole game. So it makes sense for him size wise
to play in the scheme. I just I still am

(08:46):
not sure if he's really a true fit as like
a Spelane or Jack Gibbons, those guys that are a
little smaller and can run. We'll see how he fits in.
I'm not sure yet.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
Okay, Yeah, I mean you're right about the injuries. That's
the number one thing that's held him back. We don't
even really have a large sample of him playing in
games because of all the different injuries that he's had.
But I've been wanting them to play linebacker since the
day they drafted them. I mean, this is so.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
When you look at when you call Marty Maphu a linebacker,
is it you know, I know that it's more linebacker
has become so vague now, but is it an inside backer.
It's an outside, off.

Speaker 7 (09:22):
The ball inside backer, second level of the defense kind
of guy. I mean, this is what he did at
Sacramento State, and.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Does he have the size for that for a modern linebacker.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
Yeah, I mean two twenty two twenty five, six' three,
Yeah and you know he's.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
This is what he did in.

Speaker 7 (09:36):
College it was his sideline to sideline, linebacker coverage linebacker
At Sacramento, state just making plays all over the field
at that. Level and they tried to make him into the,
safety AND i get there was a lot of overlap
between the hybrid safety and linebacker and the old scheme it.
Was it wasn't totally a departure from what he was.
Doing BUT i think when you look at the way

(09:57):
that they want to play in this. Scheme there's a
lot of coverage things that they could maybe do with
him where he's a little bit more athletic and a
little bit more versatile in some of those high stress coverage.
Situations so you, know whether he's dropping in a deeper,
zone or he's picking up a crossing, route or he's
playing man to man on a running back or something like,
that that you would really trust him to do a

(10:17):
little bit more at that spot potentially than like a
true linebacker body type like A Jelaanni, tavai you, know
or something like. That so that's the WAY i see.
It you, know maybe third, down you, know situational packages
with him playing as a coverage linebacker is a place
to start. Deuces. Right if he doesn't get healthy and
he doesn't get on the, program, then as Like paul

(10:38):
used to, say then it's not going to matter what
position he. Plays but this is where he should have
been from day, one was this, spot but it didn't
fit the old scheme for him to be there from day.
One so now we're here.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
NOW i think he's a smart. Player that was evident
what all the coaches said last year when he was
hurt and then just jumped in and, LITERALLY i, think
played every single. SNAP i think there's opportunities.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Still at that.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
POSITION i term if he was able to somehow pull
it all together and become a backup, linebacker maybe cart
out a little bit of a. Role And Jack gibbons
is here on a one year. Deal you, Know spolene
is older than, thirty SO i mean there is long
term need at that, position and if he is able
to do, it maybe is covering tight end something as
simple as that with his size might make a little
bit more sense than some of their.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
SLIDE i totally agree With.

Speaker 6 (11:20):
Evan i've thought of him as could be unique in
his ability to play, linebacker and.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
If it's just safety then it's kind, of you, know.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Just one of.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Many so that whole sideline to sideline athletic, profile, smaller.
QUICKER i mean he can, run, YEAH i mean he
absolutely has that kind of. Mobility we'll see if you
have a fred if you're, right maybe he doesn't have enough,
bulk BUT i think it's worth worth a roll of
the dice to see if he could be a full time.

Speaker 7 (11:49):
Linebacker the size in the, block anticipation in like reading
blocks against the. Run i'm not sure if that element
will be, there but if he's playing on third down
and long situations as like a coverage, LINEBACKER i think
that he could carve out a role like, that and
they could use a player like that to maybe take
A spolane Or Christian ellis off the field on third

(12:12):
down and bring in a more athletic body. Type and
it isn't the worst idea in the, world But i'm
glad that we're finally. Here took a long.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
ENOUGH i just wonder how.

Speaker 5 (12:19):
It's all going to come together at the linebacker. Position Between,
tabai who's, hurt we'll see him hopefully at, camp but you,
know his body type Versus Anthony, jennings who has been
a really solid edge. Player not sure exactly how he.
Fits how Does Marty mapu fit into the? Equation, yeah
other than After, SPALLINE i think there's there's a lot
of question marks about the linebacker position that will have

(12:40):
to be answered in.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Camp, okay the other editors note THAT i was bitching
about it before the. Show you, Know Keon white had
his comments ABOUT i feel LIKE i have real coaching this,
year and you know who he was referring to probably
his position. Coaches but you, know once he said, that
a lot of people online just took the liberty just
to just take it As Girod mayo and just start

(13:02):
Bashing Gerrod. Mayo lay Off Girod. MAYO i, mean, yes
last year was a. Disaster we get. It he wasn't,
ready he wasn't put in the best position to succeed for.
Sure can we just lay Off Girod. MAYO i, mean
there's no need at this point to be going after,
him you, Know so to all the bloggers out there

(13:23):
and tweeters and ig ors and all, that just Leave
Girod mayo.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Alone it's hard because last season was was pretty, bad
but like you, SAID i think there were a lot
of factors at, work and you JUST i hate how
every time you talk about something now it has to
be viewed as a comparison to what it was and
could not necessarily Con thank, you thank you for, that
because that he's. Bugging BUT i JUST i wish you

(13:49):
could talk About rabel and this season and what's going.
On you, KNOW i can talk About rabel talk hopping
into different, drills you, know without it instantly being, like.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Well did girod hop into?

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Drill why does everything have to be a reflection on?
THEM i mean some of it, is but not all
of it.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Is AND i mean it's it's okay to say things are,
better BUT i mean yesterday was just like this this
open season on.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
It, well to be, Fair white said, It.

Speaker 1 (14:12):
NO i, know AND i know that spurred. It, yeah
but he didn't necessarily mention him by, name like we talked.
About he could have been talking about the position, coaches
but just the overall. Thing AND i get it it
was a.

Speaker 6 (14:24):
Disaster but to your, Point, fred you could say that
and say how much better it is. Now you could
accentuate What rabel and his staff are offering that maybe
wasn't here last year without it going back to like
you see how bad they were last?

Speaker 4 (14:37):
Year reactions Not Keon.

Speaker 6 (14:39):
White Keon white said their coaching is, better, Right so
it didn't have to necessarily devolve into A AND i
know what your point, is like they had a coaching
staff that was here for one, year they were ineffective
and didn't get a second.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
YEAR i think it speaks for, itself, right they didn't
do a great. Job we don't have to kill them
and relitigate.

Speaker 9 (14:59):
The whole kicking a dead.

Speaker 8 (15:00):
Horse, yeah he's not here, anymore so what's the point
getting too worked up about? It and it's Also keyon
was pretty disgruntled at the end of last year. Too you,
know like this is not really a surprise that he wasn't, thrilled.

Speaker 5 (15:12):
Right BUT i think he needs to be aware of
this puts a little bit more of a spotlight on.
Him this is a key season for Keo On, white
and if he is getting real coaching, now then it's to, TRANSLATE.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I, hope because he started the season out pretty, well
you know That cincinnati, game the whole team, did and you,
know he kind of, faded And i'm hoping it was.
Coaching i'm hoping there's a reason for that and that
he comes back in this year and you, know lives
up to his. Potential so he might be my BIGGEST
x factor on the defense this. Season he's the youngest

(15:46):
of the defensive ends right now that are getting significant playing.
Time evan AND i both talked about biggest concern with
the defense's speed off the, edge getting that consistent edge.
Pressure it's been a challenge For Keo white to really
break that DOWN i mean he's he's good on the
inside and tight, spaces and he's a nightmare for guards and,
centers no, problem no question about. That but at some

(16:06):
point they're gonna need to develop an edge. RUSHER i
Mean Harold Landry Chase. On they're both older, guys.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
AND i MEAN i there's not maybe those guys will
have a, rebirth BUT i think next. Offseason, yeah we're
talking About but if you're if you're expecting.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
Ke On white to be in the mold of A
Max crosby or A, Watt he's not that, player never,
was wasn't in. College that's not who he. Is, fair
but he is a.

Speaker 7 (16:29):
Disruptor he needs to be a compliment To Milton williams
And Christian, barmore like they need a third, guy because
those two guys are gonna get a lot of attention
on the. Inside we're gonna get double, teams they're gonna
get high level matchups and things like that on the.
Inside and Ke On white's gonna have one on ones
for seventeen and he's.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
Very, strong you, Know LIKE i look at the three of,
them you, Know williams and Uh barmore and In, white
those are three guys that they. Can they they'll they'll
win the. FIGHTS i think it was win the Fight.

Speaker 9 (17:00):
Harold landry and his pressers On.

Speaker 8 (17:02):
Mondays the guys speak really highly Of, keyon AND i
Think harold specifically said like he's just a, specimen you,
know so hopefully they can be good role models for
him and just keep building them.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
Up AND i think you're, Right, Fred like just With.

Speaker 8 (17:16):
Milton williams And barmore and then, him he's just gonna
eat as a factor of those guys taking on double.

Speaker 9 (17:22):
Teams AND i hope it's fun to, watch you.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Know that's all like WE i want to be that
team where we come into an opponent's and they look
at our defensive line and like they're a. Problem that's a.

Speaker 7 (17:33):
Problem they're going to Circle barmore And williams and if
he can be that third, guy they can't stop. Them
all right, again double team, Everybody so someone's gonna have to,
emerge you, know as that clean up guy and as
a third. Disruptor and if it's, him then he's my
biggest act factor to, duce like if he takes that next,
step AND i want to credit you, Know Mike smith
is his position coach Now patriots outside linebackers, coach who

(17:55):
he seems to really be getting along with and as
a good working relationationship. With obviously the comments that he
made the other, day what god attention was. That But Mike,
smith you, know is the guy that he was giving
credit to at the same, time and he said that
he has a plan now he knows and when a
pass rush plan of you, know if this guy does,
This i'm going to do, that and how to attack

(18:16):
tackles and how to you, know his counters and like
all that kind of, stuff and that that's.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Really what he was.

Speaker 7 (18:23):
Missing like he's a, Specimen like there's no doubt that he,
can you, know play from a physical, standpoint but it's
the thinking part of the game THAT i think was
tough for. Him and if they can get him to that,
point then maybe there is another.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Level well remember in The oughts when we Played, tennessee
they're a defensive. Front they had LIKE i Think Javon
curse OR i forget who the people, were But curst
was the edge guy, absolutely but they had they had
at least three guys In tennessee at a point in
time where they were an. ISSUE i Mean belichick would
always make a point whenever we played them to point

(18:56):
out their their Front it's.

Speaker 5 (18:58):
Like philly last year at the joint, practices that's what
exactly Mil williams with, that that's what a front four.

Speaker 6 (19:02):
List so those are the two THINGS i totally agree
with both of you guys on you, know THE x
factor potential For Keyon. White i'm really looking At Milton
williams to see a if he can do what he
did In spurts In philadelphia on a full time, basis
and b if he's affected at all by not having

(19:23):
the amount of talent around him up front that he
did In.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Philadelphia SO i do think the potential is there to.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
Have a you, know one of those groups that you're talking, About,
fredie that you know the other team has to sit
there and, say these guys are a. Problem we have
to game plan and make sure that they don't wreck the.
Game you, know they have that. Potential but you, know
that's one of the things WHERE i want to see
when The pats come on In july And. August you know,
what how is how's the pocket affected when when there's

(19:51):
blocking going, on like right, now it seems like virtually
every play they were getting right, in but it's very
hard And mike talked about this On. Tuesday you know
how hard it is for the line to deal with
basically every place third and ten and they can't really
do anything about stopping the guys coming after the.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Quarterback it's just.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
Mean it's one of the fundamental questions of a good
defense is can you win your one on one? Matchups
or do we have to get creative and start scheming
ways to get guys to the. Quarterback you hope at
this point that they're going to be able to get
win those one on one matches because you do have
some guys drawing. ATTENTION i just continue to be, worried
a little skeptical that they're going to have the juice
off the edges this year and, again like JUST i

(20:33):
don't know if it got drowned, out BUT i think
next season we're talking about this team needs an elite pass.
Rusher that is going to be the narrative twenty. TWENTY
i wanted to resubmit that for the.

Speaker 7 (20:40):
Record, NO i mean that might IF i had, to
IF i had to look at we actually do this
on catch point two because we're always looking ahead to
the draft next year twenty twenty, six is pass rusher
is going to be their number one, NEED i would
say going into that. YEAR i mean, now right tackle
will probably be up there Because moses is getting, older
and number one receiver will always be a need until

(21:02):
they fill. That but, truly that's a pillar position that
they don't really have like a guy at and it's
a lot similar to, receiver where like you have a pecking,
quarter like you, Know Milton Williams now To paul's, point
is going to be the number one guy that teams
are going to game plan for and teams are going
to be ready for every single. Week they've talked about
using him Like Jeffrey, simmons you know In tennessee in

(21:25):
that similar. Role so maybe they can get him away
from some of the double teams and the you, know,
hunt those favorable matchups on the. Inside but he's going
to be the guy. Now Jalen carter was that guy In.
Philly you, know this is one of the things we
talked about when they signed him as a free agent
THAT i was a little bit SMALL soe concerned about
was he's never really been a full time. Player he's
never really been the, Guy so this is going to

(21:46):
be a step up for him in terms of all
those types of.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Things but like The Das thomas, thing when we.

Speaker 4 (21:51):
Go hopefully it works out be very, Similar, yeah very.

Speaker 6 (21:54):
Similar who ended up being a good player for The,
patriots but not the kind of splash THAT i.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
READ i Think belichick was probably.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Into so those are a couple of things in my
mind as we go into the quiet time of THE.
Nfl but there IS nfl news going Around Aaron, rodgers
obviously with The. Steelers you know your. Guy this, morning
one of your, Guys Albert, breer reveal that he knows
some private things About Aaron rodgers that he's not at
liberty to talk about, that which.

Speaker 4 (22:23):
IF i heard, this.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
But he, said if we knew about, him we'd feel
sorry for, it feel, Differently we feel. Different so who
knows what that?

Speaker 4 (22:32):
Is if you're not at liberty to say what it,
is don't Throw but we.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Did find out that he got. Married he's married out
do we know who he married? Yet? No.

Speaker 8 (22:41):
HIMSELF i think she's like just a non famous.

Speaker 9 (22:44):
Woman dumis was reporting.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
That with an eye or something like.

Speaker 8 (22:49):
THAT i don't, know more plugged in than, me But
dumois reported he was seen in A pittsburgh hotel with
a petite blonde and they both had wedding rings on
and they were Not i'm glad.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
He found the. One we had a wedding ring.

Speaker 6 (23:02):
On when he met The pittsburgh media and he was he, said,
Yeah i'm.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Married, yeah how.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Many people don't know for?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
Right what does that mean to? Him? Yeah married to,
myself you, know but to the, job right to the.

Speaker 8 (23:17):
Job it's interesting Because Danica patrick has been on the
Podcast circle talking about her mental health during that relationship
to EXACTLY i couldn't think of her, name but exactly
it was trying to.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
All the way that's, yeah that's a way back when.

Speaker 7 (23:37):
That was he was the one that he was engaged.

Speaker 6 (23:40):
To, yes and that was the whole like, retreat, yes.

Speaker 5 (23:44):
Ayahuasca.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Yeah and then problems In, cincinnati WHICH i.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
Love they have some significant problems like The Trey hendrickson.
Thing that's a dime a dozen that happens everywhere the
first round Pitch My stewart that that's not a that's
not a common. Problem ever since the NEW cba is
he still holding.

Speaker 7 (24:04):
Out oh, yeah and public very publicly at. This he
just stormed out of mini. CAMPS i THOUGHT i had
gotten do you guys know what cental? IS i THOUGHT
i had gotten sentled by someone WHEN i saw the
quote of What Jamar stewart actually, said AND i was,
like he actually said, that and he actually said. It
he just basically was, like, well you, know they just
don't take care of people around, Here like look At

(24:26):
trey and, yeah, yeah he's a rookies and he hasn't even,
practiced and he hasn't practiced at. All you know a
lot of rookies practice. Anyway you, Know patriots have a
few of them that are practicing without. Contracts and he
hasn't played a lick of football for The bengals and
he's already at his locker roasting.

Speaker 5 (24:44):
Them it's even more interesting to me for a guy
who blew out the gym in the in the testing
but hasn't been a highly productive. Player SO i think
he had some questions about this guy's going to get
overdrafted in terms of his college. Production is he going
to be able to put it all? Together team love
those kind of guys that just come out of the combine.

Speaker 6 (25:02):
Like oh my, gods just can't help. Themselves AND i
don't want to Play fred's side of the street ripping The,
bengals But i'm going To these things are all basically
slaughtered at this. Point it's all about language and offset
stuff and when, guarantees when the money, is when the
money is, paid and they're always looking to avoid. Responsibility

(25:25):
whatever it. Was they did the same thing last. YEAR
i think this is like the seventeenth pick of the.
Draft last year was the eighteenth. Pick it's a similar
kind of. Situation they did the same thing last. Year
no one is really having these problems anymore other Than,
cincinnati you.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
Know it's so do you think they're trying to nickel
and diamond the? Margins probably they're doing.

Speaker 6 (25:45):
Stuff it's like as a first round, pick it's guaranteed
anyway for you, know for those four, years like obviously
the fifty year options not. Guaranteed but, like why it's
not my, MONEY i get, it you, Know so this
was PART i don't understand why you would openly Create
they had such a good offseason, too where they got

(26:07):
their their high priced, guys they got everybody done early
so everybody could be ready.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
To, go and now they just create another mess for.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Themselves so this was part of the.

Speaker 7 (26:15):
Quote sorry didn't mean to step on, you but this
is part of the, quote, y'all and referencing The, BENGALS
i just want to win arguments more than winning, games
in my. Opinion and then he brought up The Trey
hendrickson situation and himself and said THAT.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
I, heard like somebody describe the situation as, Stubbornness BUT
i don't know which side they were referring.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
To you, KNOW i would say THAT i agree with
the player normally on like a rookie like, This i'd
just be, like you, know get shut, up signed your,
contract even get your work.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Done but.

Speaker 6 (26:50):
Like that, MENTALITY i agree with what he's. Saying like
that's what The bengals are all. ABOUT i just want
to win THE i just want to win the. DEAL i,
mean we've criticized other you, know we've we've criticized.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
The Red, sox criticized The patriots in recent.

Speaker 6 (27:02):
Years Well i'm sort of keeping it outside about, it
outside of the family, friends but, yes we criticized The.
Patriots were, like you, know it's got to be, value
it's got to be. There you, know these are the
kinds of things THAT i think are unnecessary riffs that
you create all on your, own really not to save
much like you even if if you if they end
up winning, this if The bengals end up quote unquote

(27:24):
winning the, negotiation what have you won?

Speaker 1 (27:26):
Nothing he probably nothing like.

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Way the pluses and. Minuses you have a player who's on,
board he's new to your. Organization do you think he's
going to want to run through a wall for you
now the next four years when you do eventually sign.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Him, now now we say that not knowing exactly what
the issue, is you, know, so but it sounds it
sounds like it's it's not a big.

Speaker 7 (27:46):
Issue it's all like all this stuff is in fine,
print like all these contracts are, slotted and in the
first round especially it's all it's all fully guaranteed. Contracts
so it's all, about you, know when do you get
the paychecks or they you, know on game days or
is it a signing bonus up? Front how much of
a signing bonus do you have other incentive laden type

(28:07):
of things within the? Contract, like but none of it
is about the max value of the. Contract the max
value is the max. Value now when you get into
the later, rounds like the second round picks are slower
usually designed because a lot of those guys are negotiating
for fully guaranteed, contracts but they might not get, them
so they might only get like three out of the
four years. Guaranteed but these first round picks like, there

(28:30):
it's a it's a full science to it at this
point where like you're getting what you're getting like, that
that's the Basset And i'm not saying that as Like.
Shamar stewart's the problem like both, sides but mostly The,
bengals LIKE i don't know what what do you? Like
he wants to check like now and you want to
give it to him On, sundays you, know a weekly
bi WEEKLY pa.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Cycle what it's?

Speaker 4 (28:52):
Like what it's it's it's future, guarantees you.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
Know so The bengals Have The bengals want to set
a new precedent with first round pick, contracts which would
allow the club to avoid future. Guarantees so rather than
just have it be guaranteed.

Speaker 4 (29:07):
Like this some gray area.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
There and setting up with technical why do you need
to set a new? Press Literally stewart wants it.

Speaker 6 (29:14):
Just to be LIKE i Murious MEM's got last year,
right same as.

Speaker 1 (29:18):
Why are you using?

Speaker 6 (29:19):
Me it's not Like stewart is trying to set the
president saying, like, NO i know that the seventeenth pick
only gets twenty million.

Speaker 4 (29:27):
DOLLARS i want forty million. Dollars i'm better than, that.

Speaker 8 (29:30):
Right and it's weird to try to do it in
the nil era where these kids are coming in with
that experience working with, agents negotiating, deals getting, Paid like
there's a higher sophistication where a couple of years, ago
kids were just coming in bushy, like bright, eyed bushy, tailed,
like just excited to you.

Speaker 6 (29:47):
Don't have the urgency because you do have a little
money in your, pocket so you're not necessarily looking to
get your parents in the house or. Something you know
that a lot of these guys probably entered the. Lead
they probably have some of that stuff already set in,
place so familiar to.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Me i've talked about it with you guys before in
my in my past life out In, california like that
was where you would always spend so much time arguing
about year three of the series and you haven't even
made a pilot. Yet you know you're spending all this
time talking about money that might be made down the
road in, success and these are the things that are
like holding it.

Speaker 7 (30:17):
Up it's just all The bengals have a just a
gift Wrapped Super bowl window With Joe, burrow, right and
everybody wants to have their, roster and they just keep
doing these things to get in their own. Way you,
Know Trey, hendrickson like you're in a win now. Mode
just pay the guy what he, Wants like what are

(30:38):
you waiting?

Speaker 1 (30:38):
For you know T?

Speaker 7 (30:39):
Higgins like they just keep kicking the can down the
road on T higgins for like multiple years.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
And he's under franchise. Tag no he's, not.

Speaker 7 (30:47):
But even his contract was a very team friendly contract
given his like status in the. League so it just
it's everything In cincinnati to get in your own way
of having like arguably the one one of the best
quarterbacks in THE nfl in the prime of his, Career
like all you should be doing now is pushing the
chips in the middle of the.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Table, yeah just gotta be so frustrating For Joe burrow
too to see that same opportunity and be, like you,
guys like we need a team that can you, know
Like i'm betting on The bengals have another slow start this.
Year it seems like all signs are pointing.

Speaker 8 (31:17):
Out when you took the words out of my, MOUTH
i was just going to say all the drama last
offseason and look at the start they, had, right, like,
okay are we signing up every?

Speaker 1 (31:25):
Day someone one of the players was.

Speaker 6 (31:29):
Quoted it might have been T higgins just, saying how you,
know you just look at our recent track record of starting.
Slowly he, goes maybe maybe we do need to play
in the, Preseason and, LIKE i didn't know if that,
meant like was that a shot At Zach taylor and the,
approach BECAUSE i don't think That's it can't be as
simple as, that because no one else plays in the preseason,

(31:50):
either and they're not all getting off to the slow
starts that you. Are, like not every team comes out
of the, gate you, know one and three every year
the way The bengals, do and the vast already have
starts don't play around the league in the.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
Preseason so if it was.

Speaker 6 (32:03):
As simple as, that everybody, Was Kansas city wouldn't start
four and all all the.

Speaker 7 (32:07):
Time Zach taylor is a problem. TOO i, MEAN i
still don't really know what he does for, Them what is? It, Yeah,
LIKE i just don't hear their offense is Just Joe
burrow and the shotgun throwing bombs To Jamar chasen t
Higginss LIKE i think anybody could do. That AND i
just WONDER i Was ZACH Taylora?

Speaker 6 (32:23):
Jones is that is that.

Speaker 7 (32:25):
Financially tied to where like he's probably not making a
ton of. Money he probably has a big buy out
if they do fire, him and so they're just, like oh,
well just keep this guy instead of actually getting an
upgrade at head. Coach and it just that whole organization is.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
Funny pretty tough start for him At brown's Versus, jaguars At,
vikings At broncos Versus.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Lions love It, yep not enough bad, Things dan And boston,
writes and Leave mayo. Alone he, says you stuck up
for him all last, year even though behind the, SCENES
i bet you Knew mayo was. TERRIBLE i still remember
after his introductory press conference you SAYING i trust Mister
craft over and over. Again fans can still be mad

(33:06):
how Bad mayo. Was i'm still. Pissed thanks for your continued. Patronizing, listen, Yeah,
fred be mad all you Want But i'm just saying
the personal stuff THAT i was reading, yesterday there's no
need for. That there's no need for. That and we.
Weren't first of, all we weren't overly he's talking to,
me he's talking to me.

Speaker 6 (33:23):
Personally but during the during the course of the, season
we did not ignore the shortcomings that we were. Seeing, yeah,
NO i, mean especially if you listen to the postgame
show And mike needing to open a vein half the. Time,
yeah you know after every game show covers.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
Now BUT i JUST i just you, know there's no
need to get personal the WAY i was reading. Yesterday,
yes LIKE i, said last year was a. Disaster there's
no doubt about. It As paul, said the fact that
all these people are gone is proof of.

Speaker 6 (33:49):
THAT i, mean it's rare to have to be won
and done in THE nfl as a head.

Speaker 4 (33:53):
Coach i'm just saying it's, unprecedented but it's, rare.

Speaker 7 (33:56):
RIGHT i think that was the only conversation we were
having at the time at the end of last, year
was this is really rare to want and done a,
coach and.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Do you do?

Speaker 7 (34:04):
It you, know it's it can make the case obviously
for doing, it BUT i don't think any of us
knew for sure that they would do it or.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Not, YEAH i pushed back a little, bit LIKE i
think it gave everything the benefit of the doubt early,
on BUT i THINK i personally experienced it a lot
like the fans. Did of seeing the team's performances and
then we know the games that stood out as like whoa.

Speaker 6 (34:24):
BOY i, Mean i'm going to give a very specific,
example and this happened throughout the course of the, season
but very. Specifically you AND i were quite critical of
the time management at the end of the first half
of The seattle, game which Was week.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Two they didn't handle the clock. Well they Gave seattle.

Speaker 6 (34:40):
An extra possession and it cost him points and again
that they ultimately lost in. Overtime those are the little
things on the margins that cost you. Games that Was week.
Two we spent a lot of time in the postgame
show criticizing. That not like they don't know how to you,
know set up a game, plan they don't just simple
clock management.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
Stuf and again.

Speaker 6 (35:01):
We didn't wait until they were three and eleven when
we started doing, this which was the first loss of the, season.

Speaker 7 (35:07):
And arizona is definitely where you started to feel like
that post, GAME i was, like.

Speaker 6 (35:12):
Okay that's WHAT i felt, like there was a chance
you could be.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
Wonning but to, me that The tennessee win thing was
that was that was bad.

Speaker 6 (35:20):
Too that was the final.

Speaker 7 (35:21):
STRAW i was, like this is, like just throw some
grass up in the, air like this is a simple thing. Changed,
YEAH i mean that was. Tough it was a tough.
Season it was just it.

Speaker 6 (35:31):
Was a bad.

Speaker 8 (35:31):
Year so just WHY i think we're making the point
like we're not trying to gloss over how dysfunctional it.
Was we're just trying to, say, hey the situation has been,
rectified move, on be, Happy like it's looking a lot
more positive this.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
YEAR i, mean the difference on the field is, striking
and it's just and AGAIN i don't want it to
be a comparison necessarily To. MAYO i am very impressed
with just the command That Mike vrable has and clearly
has a vision for how he wants his team to.
Play and Like i've said many times in the spring
since we watched the, practices his stamp will be on this.
Team it already is on this, team and that to

(36:06):
me is. Exciting you feel there's going to be an identity.
THERE i don't know how it's going to manifest. Itself
there might be ups and. Downs it's not gonna they're
gonna come out of the gate and be a tough
team that doesn't turn the ball over and force. Us
but his goal is to try to take advantage of bad.
Football AND i think that's the kind of team he's
putting together right now that that will have a chance
to do.

Speaker 7 (36:24):
That the, details like the attention to detail already is
so much further ahead than where it was the last
couple of. YEARS i don't know if that, again like
do they have the talent that that's going to decide
how many games they? Win but just in terms of watching,
practice like there's just not it's not as, Clunky like
there's just not as many mental errors and re huddles
and this guy jumped and that guy, jumped and this

(36:45):
guy motioned when he wasn't supposed to, motion and they're
getting barked at for you're in the wrong alignment or.
Whatever that type of stuff just isn't. Happening and to
take advantage of bad, football like he keeps, saying like
that's that's all it takes, sometimes especially if you have easy,
schedule is just don't beat yourselves and play fundamentally sound.

Speaker 5 (37:04):
FOOTBALL i, mean how many times the last two years
did we see another team take advantage of The patriots bad?
Football and especially When bill was, here that was jarring
because that's the antithesis of WHAT i always thought he
would be as a. Coach and to me that was
one of the biggest representations of how things had. Changed
and it wasn't you, know WHEN i first got here
And brady, left you, thought, Well bill will he'll at

(37:26):
least have a team that's going to have a really
good defense and they're not gonna hopefully make the critical.
Errors and when those things started happening, consistently that's when
it all started fall.

Speaker 7 (37:36):
Apart the same To drake may two talk about some
of the coaching he's gotten From, vrabel it does sound
very Like Bill brady, esque where it's like it's not
the it's not the little details of like your footwork
was off here or. Something it's like it's like the
situational go you, know like the big picture, stuff like you,
know we don't have all day for you to hang
back there and hold the ball you, know we gotta

(37:56):
when you hear when the play is, designed just run the,
play you know that type of. STUFF i think it's
gonna be really, Helpful LIKE i, think you, know situationally
even like, Kicking like you know they kick In london
they kick the ball right down the middle of the
field and he returns a punt for ninety six yards, touchdown,
Right jaguars like that type of, Things Like vrabel's really
good at being like we're gonna kick it in the corner,

(38:18):
right like we're not going to kick it right down the.
Middle like those are the things that make a big.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
Difference, yep let's. See this Is jared In la has
some constructive criticism for. Us we address some of these.
Yesterday oh did you read this? Email, okay okay.

Speaker 7 (38:32):
Again oh the second one was more about this. Show
the first one was About.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Yeah the first, one Says evan On catch twenty, two
when you, say when you want to say something But
alex is, talking you make a noise that is so unfathomably.
Uncomfortable it sounds like eh but really under your, breath
and the mic picks it up every. TIME i can't
describe it. Better so do you know what he's talking. About,

(38:56):
now we both but now we.

Speaker 5 (38:58):
Do we have to feel that Noways sometimes when you
know like we're going and you're kind of sitting on,
something AND i feel like you're. Good. Fred you look
at us and you see if we have something to,
say and we kind of visual. Cue but SOMETIMES i
feel LIKE i have to stifle.

Speaker 4 (39:10):
It, yeah you can direct that at me Because i'm always.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
TALKING i get it. Now SOMETIMES i need to step
back and let all of you are guilty of. This
when describing a player having a great day of, practice
It's i'm not saying HE'S lt or. Anything i'm not
saying fit him with a red. Jacket i'm not saying
he's all pro yet or. Anything Drake may It's i'm
not comparing him To Tom brady just. Yet we, know

(39:34):
stop freaking saying, this. Please, evan you were the most
guilty of. This you say it about three times a.
Show we know you aren't comparing them to the goats
or saying They're hall of, famers for the love Of,
god please.

Speaker 7 (39:45):
STOP i responded to that and, SAID i not everybody
knows like. You you might think that you will not
stop doing. It, yeah, you But not everybody knows. That
WHEN i Say Fton chisholm's having a good. Camp But
i'm not comparing him To Julian edelman And Wes. Welker
not everybody knows like the rest of the media has been.
Doing i'm not ever going to stop doing that.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Anyway show is. Great, really this is just nails on
a chalkboard to, me now That i've heard it once
as a side Night War pigs Or Sweet Leaf Black
sabbage should be the walkout. Song fair, criticisms, maybe, no it's.
Fine We're i'm always.

Speaker 7 (40:18):
ABOUT i don't know what he was talking about with
the first. One the second, one he's, right we do say.

Speaker 1 (40:23):
That, oh the second, one it's the emailer is.

Speaker 4 (40:27):
Right we do it all the.

Speaker 6 (40:28):
TIME i do it on, purpose AND, i LIKE i,
Said i'll continue to do it unless, that you, know
there's a sign like this guy's, Special like if you
see that when a guy's active and you sort of
see him around the ball a little, bit you, Know
i'm not suggesting he's the next you, Know Craig. Woodson
i'm not suggesting he's the Next devin mccordy.

Speaker 5 (40:46):
Like.

Speaker 4 (40:46):
That that to me is, relevant you, know WHAT i.

Speaker 6 (40:49):
Like he's a rookie who's showing, up making plays and
he's been, active active part of the.

Speaker 1 (40:54):
Same you're not Saying Roman anthony Is Babe ruth, yet, Right?

Speaker 6 (40:56):
Okay can we let, him you, know maybe get two
HITS i don't, know not putting them in the Ben.
Meyer on the other, hands you know three dingers, already you,
know to smooth as.

Speaker 7 (41:07):
Silk that second home run was the first Time i've
actually been excited about The Red sox in like three.
Years probably off the, CALE i was, like let's.

Speaker 6 (41:15):
Go BUT i do think that we tend to glom
onto players quickly In, boston you, Know and you're right
about the kids for The Red. Sox but that's WHY
i sort, of you, KNOW i try to temper. Enthusiasm
but let's they're just getting. Started i'm not comparing him
to the guys that you're thinking of them being comparable,
to because there's a long way to go before you

(41:39):
see if the you know that that ability is, there the,
durability the, consistency there's a.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
Lot that goes into, it and then once they, do you,
know that's.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
Different Colon, iowa could you envision a scenario where the
preseason shows great games for for the preseason shows not
show like it shows great games for all Of, Poke,
Baker booty And. Chisholm do you think the fans would
be divided over who should make the team and who
should be? Cut if THE pu crew is equally divided

(42:10):
and discussion becomes, heated can we name it The chishm Shit.
Schishm that's. Good that is a long way to. Go
an actual. Question can each of you give your pick
for an offensive player that will come down with the
Flo foxborough flu and be stashed ON ir for next?
Year any candidates for? That maybe one of the tight?

Speaker 6 (42:31):
Ends, Maybe, yeah that's a GOOD i don't think anybody.
GOES i don't really think that's a. Thing you get
sixteen spots on the practice, squad now you can bring
guys back FROM ir, Now, LIKE i don't think there's
a lot Of foxboro.

Speaker 7 (42:42):
FLU i just wonder if you Know Jalen polk if
it if he is on the outside looking, in he
has the shoulder, Thing he's probably going to practice in
camps a pup will probably be, Out but, like can
you put him ON ir and then you know he's
out four? Weeks and somebody else gets hurt and it
opens up a roster, spot maybe you bring him back
in Like. October it's just one of those ways that

(43:05):
you don't have to cut. Him you have the second.

Speaker 9 (43:07):
Round but it makes it, easy like just kick the
can down the right because.

Speaker 7 (43:11):
Someone, unfortunately someone will get hurt and it will open
up a spot and you, know maybe that will give
him the opportunity to to catch.

Speaker 6 (43:18):
On then, yeah, no it's a good. POINT i would
just you, know quibble semantics because you know that's WHAT i. Do,
LIKE i don't necessarily wouldn't consider That foxborough FLU i
would say he has a pre existing. Injury LIKE i
Think Kendrick bourne probably could have opened the season on
the active roster last, Year AND i think for a
lot of the things That evan is, saying they put
him on pup to sort of put the problem off

(43:41):
a little bit so you could see it. AGAIN i,
mean who knows what's going to happen With.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Diggs it's more pertinent when you have a lot of
talent on the roster and you have tough decisions to,
make when you, know it'd be great to have a
problem where we have so many wide receivers playing, well
we don't know who to. KEEP i don't know if
they're going to have that problem in regards to that.
LIST i Think Javon baker still has a Long.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
Yeah, yeah eight five five patch five hundred is the.
Hotline let's go To nate In. Connecticut what's? Up?

Speaker 11 (44:05):
Nate, hey, guys can you guys hear?

Speaker 8 (44:07):
You?

Speaker 12 (44:08):
What?

Speaker 1 (44:09):
Uh?

Speaker 13 (44:10):
So first, OFF i just wanted TO i called him
the catch twenty two. Yesterday then he was my second
to last day of.

Speaker 14 (44:15):
SCHOOL i want you guys to take a wild guest
on what today.

Speaker 5 (44:18):
Was your last day?

Speaker 1 (44:20):
School the day after your?

Speaker 14 (44:21):
Second it was my last day of.

Speaker 13 (44:23):
School super. High let's go, yeah, Eight that finally your eighth.
Grade i'm gonna be a freshman next year for high.
School but, yeah super. Excited but, anyways my question for
you guys.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
Is the eighth grade?

Speaker 1 (44:37):
Graduation?

Speaker 4 (44:39):
How how was middle school? Graduation?

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Ye you sound older than eighth? Grade you?

Speaker 4 (44:43):
Do, YEAH i would stunned to find no way to
get out of.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
HERE i.

Speaker 14 (44:49):
Would.

Speaker 6 (44:49):
Yeah that is a compliment much more mature than THAN
I thank you so.

Speaker 13 (44:54):
Much, well, anyways my question to you guys is essenism
a lock For patrick wide receiver. Corps based on WHAT
i hear and based on like the Videos i've, seen
he looks really shifty AND i think he's a good
addition to the wide receiver. Room if we were to keep,
him think, well.

Speaker 1 (45:14):
Based on what you, hear he should be in The
hall Of fame by, now because he's Every he's everyone's
darling coming out OF i haven't heard. Camp we're not
comparing him To julian.

Speaker 6 (45:25):
NOW i it's way too early for me to give
You he's Not he's not a.

Speaker 7 (45:30):
Lock he has set the table for himself to make
a push and training. Camp he did what he needed
to do in the. Spring so we get into camp
now it's a real thing that we're going to be.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
Watching he will get his opportunities in.

Speaker 7 (45:40):
Camp, yeah, YEAH i think the biggest thing for him
is is just his skill set is very unique to
that slot receiver role that has been The Julian edelman's
and The West welkers and Uh Dion, Branch Troy brown.
Whatever SO i, Mean frabel said it, himself he has
a certain skill set AND i think that's exactly.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
What he has a specific set of, sure, right and
it's unique to WHAT.

Speaker 6 (46:03):
I need to. Do.

Speaker 1 (46:04):
So nate is in eighth grade and sounds a lot.
Older this next caller is a lot older who is
a lot less Mature christian in la is on. Call what's?

Speaker 15 (46:14):
Up?

Speaker 1 (46:14):
Christ, wow that's.

Speaker 16 (46:18):
Hurtful had a good villain coming from a guy who
can't figure out what to do with his extra stop.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
Anyway, wow that's a good one, though Good. CHRISTIAN i like.
IT i like.

Speaker 16 (46:30):
It you guys already stole my thunder on WHAT i
wanted to talk about, football So i'll go to my.
Alternatives this weekend is my thirtieth high schooler, union And
i'm not going to go one because it's the thirtieth
and two BECAUSE i had a few dismus moments back
in high school that doesn't seem to go away. Shocked
SO i know what the listeners would love to know
you guys a little bit. More and my questions into

(46:52):
you guys, are what was your most embarrassing high school?

Speaker 1 (46:54):
Moment, oh most embarrassing high school? Moment all, right thanks.

Speaker 5 (46:59):
For hard poop my pants? NOT i, know, WELL i
mean this isn't really. EMBARRASSING i don't, know like kind of.
Embarrassing one was against our rivals in prep school in,
overtime and me and my defense partner were like going
to back. Up they were coming on a line rush
and we kit skates and we both fell down and

(47:21):
we lost my senior year to our. Rivals the kid
went in on a breakaway and scored because me and
my defense partner. TOUCHED i don't know if that doesn't.
Count it's not LIKE i did my. Pants, yeh, story
but that WAS i was, like you, know you fell.
Down But i'll think about it more as other people
go there's something.

Speaker 3 (47:36):
BETTER i was suspended my junior year or high, school
and when my mother came to get me from the,
school she grabbed me by the ear and slapped me
in the back of the.

Speaker 2 (47:42):
Head the entire way through the parking. Lot the entire
school would see.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
It it was yelling at, me that's a good, One.
Matt that's. Good that's a good. One that's.

Speaker 5 (47:51):
Good maybe when my dad got in a fight at
one of my hockey games, too that was pretty.

Speaker 1 (47:55):
Embarrassing, OKAY i don't know that's. Good but also, hell,
YEAH i don't really have. One you were. Embarrassed, no
that blue suit you were to fill WHAT i didn't
wear a blue. Suit it's just late memory has a
lot of moments for. It now that he looks, back
he should have been.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
EMBARRASSED i, MEAN i.

Speaker 6 (48:15):
DON'T i don't really have ANY i got. Dumped that
was kind of. Embarrassing, okay you got. Dumped that's what the,
one the one time that ever happened to, Me, okay the,
one the One.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
I'm gonna let it happen. Once was? It was it
a public? Up oh so then, no but everybody. Knew, yeah, okay,
Yeah evan no played the Fifth yeah But, ALEX i
don't know you were allowed to do.

Speaker 9 (48:40):
That, NO i can't really THINK i was top of my.

Speaker 5 (48:42):
HEAD i got pants once in an eighth grade like,
Party LIKE i had shorts, on and like it was
kind of like the more popular, kids AND i would
command all that. Day, NO i was tighty, whities but
we went right to the tidy, whities AND i THINK
i was boxers from that point. On so that, actually,
NOW i think that that, was you, know pretty. Embarrassing
you're you're punching a little above your weight in terms of.
Popularity you're at the party and everyone knows, that and

(49:04):
then you're standing there and all of a, sudden someone
comes behind.

Speaker 1 (49:06):
And gives the Old, yeah Does Babe ruth baseball count
as high school's?

Speaker 17 (49:10):
Too?

Speaker 1 (49:11):
RIGHT i had one of. Those.

Speaker 6 (49:14):
YEAH i was going back for a fly ball AND
i got my spike caught and my stirrup rip. Ripped
my whole sock fell, down ball went off the top
of my. Glove that was pretty. Embarrassing but that was
not in high. SCHOOL i was a Senior Babyuth dan.

Speaker 5 (49:28):
Somewhere, like you, know it was sport. EMBARRASSING i fell. Down,
yeah it was the third out of the game.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Too we ended up.

Speaker 4 (49:33):
Losing it was it was.

Speaker 1 (49:34):
BAD i looked at a called third strike to end
the game in An All star game Against, Cooperstown New.
York did you throw your? Back? OH i? CRIED i
thought it was. Inside to this, DAY i think the
ball was. Inside but should have swump There we have.
It there's always it. Was it. Was it was felt,
high BUT i thought it was. Inside you. KNOW i
made the you, know the the big show of, it

(49:54):
headed down to first base and get called. Out you,
KNOW i. WAS i was. EMBARRASSING i honestly.

Speaker 7 (50:02):
DON'T i don't really have one THAT i. FORGET i,
mean like LIKE i was in, nerd SO i was
embarrassing to begin, With LIKE i didn't lived in a
state of. Embarrassing what about the time you got come
on Man by BY. Espn, yeah but that WAS i
was an adult when that. Happened, uh, embarrassing but, no
ACTUALLY i thought that was. GREAT i mean at that,
point SO I, ATLAS i Was it was one of

(50:26):
those zoom press conferences back DURING covid and, uh AND
i was trying to Ask Bill belichick a question And
atlas crashed the press conference and jumped on top of.
Me and well BECAUSE i was, speaking SO i think
he was, confused like who was who WAS i talking?

Speaker 17 (50:40):
To And?

Speaker 7 (50:41):
Bill bill AND i had a moment about. It we
had a moment over it because he's a dog.

Speaker 5 (50:44):
Guy so was that was that like the impetus of
how the whole dog thing started with Like nike and
the draft that?

Speaker 6 (50:49):
Year, no that was after.

Speaker 7 (50:51):
That but he said That atlas And nike should have
a play, date AND i was, like just tell me
iced to do something, nice to be.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
Like what is going? On it was never.

Speaker 4 (51:00):
Personality it was.

Speaker 7 (51:01):
Shocking it was ON. Espn, Yeah, Ral.

Speaker 8 (51:05):
I'm gonna get it because even The nike thing was
just Like bill went up to go to the bathroom
in the middle of the draft and didn't know they
were going to go on him and he was chilling.

Speaker 7 (51:13):
There, no it went viral Because bill actually showed some,
personality like in a press, conference so it was like
shocking to everybody that he. Was he kind of broke
the fourth, wall if you, will and like let his
guard down a little. Bit but, NO i just lived
in a constant state of embarrassment in high, school SO
i like pretty much everything was, Good like you, know
it started not being embarrassing BECAUSE i was just so

(51:35):
used to.

Speaker 4 (51:35):
It so it was just that dumping that that left the.

Speaker 9 (51:38):
Mark, YEAH i think about.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
IT i, mean, why what was the?

Speaker 9 (51:42):
Reason?

Speaker 1 (51:43):
Nothing that was? It that one is WHY i want
stumped a girl BECAUSE i didn't like the way she. Danced,
YEAH i didn't tell her, that but that was the.

Speaker 9 (51:52):
Reason that's a topic of Conversation i've. BEEN i forget
WHERE i.

Speaker 8 (51:56):
Was but it was, like what's the, randomest most insignificant
thing that gave you the ick about like a romantic?

Speaker 1 (52:02):
Partner, yeah, Question, YES i don't want to get into.

Speaker 9 (52:06):
It but she had it was hand, sized small. HANDS
i was, like that's you.

Speaker 4 (52:11):
Know small, hands loud and.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
SWAIN i mean over, there should we go over that?
SIDE i, have you, know not not the flex or.
Anything but high school was like a good time for,
me like you, know LIKE i kind of.

Speaker 4 (52:26):
Eased, well that's What i'm. SAYING i didn't really have.

Speaker 1 (52:28):
ANYTHING i wasn't like in that constant state of. Embarrassing
high school is a bad. Time other people in high
school was.

Speaker 4 (52:35):
DIFFERENT i hadn't come AND i had a lot of.
FRIENDS i was Very this can be hard to, believe
BUT i was very.

Speaker 1 (52:41):
SOCIAL i like to.

Speaker 9 (52:42):
Talk imagine.

Speaker 12 (52:43):
THAT i.

Speaker 5 (52:44):
Realized one of the things we came up WHEN i
was with my buddies about getting the ick was girl
was a little interested in, me BUT i didn't like
her because she smelled like.

Speaker 1 (52:51):
Chocolate that was what everyone was smelled like.

Speaker 5 (52:54):
Chocolate and it was like her perfume or her scent
whatever was in.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
It and AND i love.

Speaker 5 (52:58):
Chocolate but for some reason and that THAT i was,
LIKE i don't, know did you ever get to the
root of? That like why she mentally inside like her
family owned like a CHOCOLATE i don't know something.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Some laural guy like they're still making.

Speaker 5 (53:14):
Company remember that girl just didn't want to go out
with because she smelled like.

Speaker 1 (53:17):
Chocolate that WAS i don't, KNOW i love.

Speaker 4 (53:21):
CHOCOLATE i have none of. Those by the, WAY i
can't really think of.

Speaker 1 (53:24):
Any.

Speaker 5 (53:26):
Yeah, yeah as long as their Name gina falls.

Speaker 1 (53:29):
In, yeah that's. True heather was. Mine i'm JUST i
never met a girl Named heather who wasn't good.

Speaker 4 (53:36):
Looking, OKAY i, Agree, yeah just give me an example
And i'll stop.

Speaker 6 (53:43):
Right so they're batting a. Thousand genia is a Bad.

Speaker 1 (53:48):
Christian actually had a good call with the good subject
that evoked some conversation.

Speaker 5 (53:54):
Sat all Or skeltons in the.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
Closet.

Speaker 4 (53:56):
YEAH i don't THINK i ever really went out with
A gina, Either but Not.

Speaker 5 (54:01):
Gina you're almost.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
There it was.

Speaker 4 (54:03):
Close steve's In New.

Speaker 1 (54:05):
York what's, Up? STEVE i as a do Good.

Speaker 11 (54:11):
SO i have two, things the comment on the media
and then uh question regarding. RECEIVERS i comment on the.
Media you, KNOW i feel like you guys do a
really good job of kind of keeping things into. Contact
WHEN i listened to the other sports media things in
The boston, area they're a little bit more negative and,
uh you, know.

Speaker 6 (54:30):
A quick to.

Speaker 11 (54:31):
Judge one of the things THAT i just don't understand
was is this constant comparison THAT i can sometimes happened
with you, know Like drake MAY i heard ON Nbc
boston they were talking about his leadership and they wanted
him to be more Like Tom brady as a. Leader
And i'm, thinking you, guys Forget Tom. Brady Wasn't Tom
brady until you, know three or four years into his

(54:53):
scent as a as a, player you, know even the,
essenism you, know saying With JULIAN i, again he didn't you,
know he Develop it took a, while and to be
jim him because he's getting his sounds like BUT i
feel like that the quick, like, well we remember these
players of fourn so we want the guy to see that,

(55:14):
way but he's got to give him. Time With, garrow
it didn't just happen. Overnight, yeah that's my one comment
about you, know the. Area AND i think that's why
sometimes when people call, in they think, like, oh, well
you guys are favorite BEING u nice of the, Team
but it's more like the more of.

Speaker 6 (55:28):
A context of, things thank, you CAN i just CAN
i just offer a quick response defending the you, KNOW Nbc, Sports.
BOSTON i guess in this case when someone is wondering
or hoping That drake may can be more of a
leader Like Tom, brady it didn't Take Tom brady four
or five years to become.

Speaker 4 (55:49):
That he was a leader of the day he got.
Here that's why he made the team as a fourth string.

Speaker 6 (55:53):
Quarterback he saw the, leadership enamored with his leadership, quality
gathering the other.

Speaker 1 (55:57):
Rookies he even become the.

Speaker 6 (55:59):
Player he was until probably as As steve, said you,
know three to h four once he won multiple, titles
but IN o one he was an immense leader as
he led the team to That Super.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
Bowl. Yeah like that's WHAT i.

Speaker 6 (56:11):
MEAN i don't think you need to be established as a,
player you, know a finished product as a player to.

Speaker 1 (56:16):
Be a good.

Speaker 11 (56:16):
Leader, yeah that's a good. Point i'm Not, Yeah And
i'm just thinking like from The man in The arena
where he talked about how you know he started realizing
his role as a, leader you, know and you start
hearing more about.

Speaker 1 (56:28):
It you, know the later.

Speaker 11 (56:30):
Episode but you know my question and and you, KNOW i,
THINK i mean you talked about that about some of
the receivers that we have are good single, coverage h but,
coverage AND i just want to know what makes a
receiver good for Zone like we're the skills that are

(56:51):
needed for a Good dome.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Receiver, okay thank, you thank, You Steve.

Speaker 7 (56:55):
WELL i mean the old school rule of thumb is
you break away from man and you settle against. Zone so,
again zone, coverage you want to find the pockets in
between each. Player you know the defenders and where their
zone coverages, are and you want to settle inside those
pockets and make yourself friendly to the, quarterback make yourself
as big as you possibly.

Speaker 1 (57:16):
Can AND i think the skill there is just. Awareness,
yeah it's it's.

Speaker 7 (57:19):
Awareness it's understanding their their goals and what their you,
know assignments and landmarks, are and reading you, know one
high too, high you can tell okay it's cover, two
it's cover, Three like this is where their zones are
going to, be and this is Where i'm going to
settle and things like. THAT i would say the best
zone coverage receiver That i've seen with The patriots Is.

(57:41):
Edelman Like edelman just had he had that quarterback background
where he just, knew you, know where those little pockets
of space were going to be. Uh he was excellent at.
IT i would, say you, know probably the Best i've
seen do.

Speaker 1 (57:56):
That so, yeah very.

Speaker 7 (57:59):
High They, yeah it's just a feel thing of kind
of knowing where space is and that's all a lot
of football. Is like we get technical about, it but
it's just kind of figuring out where the space and
the defense.

Speaker 1 (58:09):
Is and he gets. Technic.

Speaker 5 (58:12):
Yeah, well along Those Pop DOUGLAS i thought had a
pretty good spring and was, productive and we had some
questions how he would adapt maybe To josh's. System still
have questions can he handle the load of it? All
but he but he had a good, Spring.

Speaker 4 (58:25):
So that's A i think that's a good.

Speaker 6 (58:26):
Point and almost all of the packages that they had
that involved three, receivers he was. In you, know you,
know sometimes it Was, born sometimes it Was Kyle, williams you,
know sometimes it Was, booty but it was Always. Doug
if there were three receivers in a, Set douglas was out.
THERE i think that's a great sign for.

Speaker 1 (58:43):
HIM i.

Speaker 9 (58:45):
Was just going to, say just another good.

Speaker 8 (58:47):
SIGN i don't Think verbel loves doing press, conferences but
he was asked About Pop douglas and he Like pop
is so like unintentionally funny and likable that Like rabel
almost broke like his stern character with the, media and
his face is lit up talking About, pop talking about

(59:07):
how much he loves, him his, personality what he brings
And pop, too just talking overwhelmingly high about Like josh
and the playbook and like what slot receivers have done
in these systems. Before it seems like he's put a
lot of time getting to know this playbook and it
looks like it's going well.

Speaker 5 (59:24):
From it could be a huge year for. HIM i,
mean he's got a great opportunity.

Speaker 4 (59:27):
And twenty plus targets, anyway, Right, No i'm, serious he's.

Speaker 5 (59:30):
Able to stay healthier and can handle the. VOLUME i,
mean it's totally.

Speaker 7 (59:34):
True, yeah that's that's the question is can he handle the?
Volume it can stay healthy if he's going to be
targeted that. Much BUT i was so encouraged by how
he was finding those leveraged opportunities and like they were
getting him matched up on linebackers and, stuff and he
was breaking the right, way and you, know the ball
is coming out quickly and it was hitting them quickly
over the middle.

Speaker 6 (59:53):
Of the weight touchdown and the rid.

Speaker 1 (59:55):
Zone the other. Day it's just like those little.

Speaker 7 (59:57):
THINGS i wasn't one hundred percent sure how he was
gonna grasp on to those nuances of this, system but
he team is seamless.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
Spring he was all, right my foods, here take a,

Speaker 15 (01:02:05):
You other than the world fell into a panic when
you supposedly through four deceptions on that FIRST i think feel.
GOOD i think you kind of catching the stride trying
to get me wraps out there as. POSSIBLE i think
you got to take the meetings and what you learn
from you, know when you do a good chance to
run the, plays just take it and take it in
the next time you run. IT i think it's it's
all the same concepts in the, league but it's different,
word it's different, verbiage same. Guys mostly the same guys run,

(01:02:28):
them but just kind of feeling out kind of how
they run it and timing and just kind of get
a different. Concept SO i think it's BEEN i think
it's been. GOOD i, think Uh i'm starting to kind,
of you, know really kind of find a find a
stride and kind of kind of bummed. Out we're about to,
leave but uh, no it's funny time we're going gets
a great. Defense they got good, players two great. CORNERS
i tell guns every Day i'm gonna test. Them i'm

(01:02:49):
not gonna not throw at them or OR, cd you,
know to the you, KNOW i think the best corners
and one of the best duos in the. League what
a opporunity for us to go out there every day
and throw against those.

Speaker 9 (01:02:57):
Guys how much have you.

Speaker 18 (01:02:59):
And mike and talked about the expectations for you as
a leader on this team going into your Second.

Speaker 1 (01:03:05):
YEAH i think you sap turning for, me you, know
take a.

Speaker 15 (01:03:07):
JUMP i think kind of from last year being a, rookie,
uh trying to come in here and kind of earn my,
stripe earn my, keep just kind of you, know through hard,
work AND i think kind of this year is you,
know sating. Approach you got new guys in, here new,
staff kind of got to keep getting to know, everybody
kind of you, know showing my work ethic and then
kind of from there as the season comes, around try
to take a next step of leadership and leading the
offense and hopefully leading this football teams.

Speaker 5 (01:03:28):
As a voice and as a.

Speaker 11 (01:03:30):
Player how would you define your?

Speaker 15 (01:03:32):
Now, yeah oh, yes it's world's. Different she was talking
To pep about that. EARLIER i remember this time last, Year,
Uh pep And. DOUG i was playing quarterback back there
and we had a one high two high read and
they're playing with me the whole basically the whole, snap
AND i messed it. Up but, yeah just confidence and
being out there having, reps you, know seeing some of these,
plays seeing how these guys on defense, play and you,

(01:03:54):
KNOW i think it's you, know it's worlds differences a
little different to have new, offense new. Verbage BUT i
think kind of just you know on, him you, know
you know where we're at in the offense and finding
what we're gonna be good at in our. Dientities it's been,
fun it's been.

Speaker 18 (01:04:04):
Cool we've Seen Stephan diggs out there with you guys
a little bit more in the past few.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
Weeks just what are your first impressions of him and
just getting to Be, yeah he seems, like you, know awesome.

Speaker 15 (01:04:13):
Teammate you, know he's he's my next door to my
locker locker, mate so he's you, know one down from beside.

Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
Me you, know we talk all the.

Speaker 15 (01:04:20):
Time he's a veteran this. League he's made a lot of,
plays playing a lot of big time. Games so just
an awesome voice for for the receiver, room for this.
Offense he's playing some playoff, games he's had some big,
games AND i, think you, know once he kind of
recovers and just get back out. There i'm looking forward,
to you, know be able to you, know throw them
foo footballs and, uh just it's always good having a
guy like that in your.

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
Team have you seen have you seen stuff on his
work ethic and?

Speaker 15 (01:04:42):
Action, yeah he comes in, here you know, lifting you
know when the, meetings asking, questions you, know asking me after, Plays,
hey what's done?

Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
There?

Speaker 15 (01:04:51):
Hey you know the times Past i've done, this when
the guy's playing, this leverage stuff like. That so you,
know he's a he's seen a lot of different things's
played a long time in this. League so it's been
great for for me to be able to you, know
a veteran. Receiver him And mac and you Know Kendrick.
Bourne you got you, know three really not really old,
heads but kind of old heads in, there you, know
in their. Thirties so it's been awesome for us to
kind of you, know find you, know how they, lead

(01:05:12):
the lead the room and help this.

Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
Offense the.

Speaker 17 (01:05:16):
Expectations that are coming is all a lot of improvement
on the coaching, staff on the. Roster is your second.
Year you had such a good at times rookie. Year
the expectations are are already. Growing how do you react
to those and feel about high? Expectations, yeah people with high.

Speaker 15 (01:05:35):
EXPECTATIONS i think that's what you. WANT i think this
c you, know The patriots are used to winning and
that's what we're trying to get back. TO i think you,
want you want people to expect you to play, good
AND i think that pressure is kind of what will
fuels it to be out, here will fuse you to
get the rep right and, practice what fuels you to you,
know work hard in the meetings or work hard in
the late room or kind of not what happened last
year happened.

Speaker 17 (01:05:53):
Again so what a company's out In boston sometimes is in. Impatience,
yeah like why why is he supposed to be dot dot?

Speaker 1 (01:06:03):
Dot it is much? Better do you anticipate?

Speaker 15 (01:06:05):
That do you realize that it's hard to antipate. Anything
i'm just trying to folks out here on practice and you,
know hopefully when the game time, Comes i'm you, know
try to play my best, football AND i think from,
there just you, know try to help his team.

Speaker 5 (01:06:15):
Win on that last thrill when everyone's lined up and
you guys are doing the. Sprints how does that challenge
you vocally AND i guess physically, Too, yeah not really a.

Speaker 15 (01:06:27):
Challenge just try not to you, know screw the guys
over with the cadence and have him jump off. Side
so just trying to you, know help the guys, out
give them a little heads up in the. Front but
it's good for us to hear. Cadence you, Know kiden's
the big thing in this league to you, know see
what defense is. Doing help the guys up front. Blocking you,
know you, know EVERY d line in this league is.
Good so so you, know a great way for those
guys listening to the cadence and also conditioning when they're,

(01:06:47):
tired and you, know listening to the.

Speaker 12 (01:06:48):
Cadence is it in your panel system that more coast
snap adjustments than you've used in the Pass.

Speaker 1 (01:06:52):
And how do you feel like you guys are yelling
to those so far post?

Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
Snap, YEAH i wouldn't say.

Speaker 15 (01:06:56):
THAT i think every offense kind of has you, know you,
know different pre snaps and post. SNAP i THINK i
think what ky coach does a great job guys and
matchups and letting them. Win so you're looking forward to you,
know doing that and got to do my part and
getting guys lined up and you, know playing the right,
side and you'll just do my part of you, know
taking taking what's open and taking the first thing because
sometimes when you LIKE i tend to wait for the

(01:07:18):
big one and that's not holding the ball and you
know sometimes not.

Speaker 1 (01:07:21):
Open so it's important for you to Test Christian gonzalez
And Carl, YEAH i think.

Speaker 15 (01:07:25):
Just give them work BECAUSE i know there's gonna be
you know guys and you, know quarreacks in this league
with you, know big time re sheries that are going
to go At, gunzo go out guns and go AT,
cd AND i think there's gonna be receiver, rooms like
if we were playing you, know our, defense you, know
get those guys exciting the receiver room to play such
a good quarterback dual who gets a lot of hype
and you know it's well deserved on you, know speaking
of ourself for those guys on our. Side but you,

(01:07:47):
know playing someone like, that you want to prove, them
prove them, wrong and prove, them, hey this guy's making
you a bunch of. Money let's let's go out there
and show, them you, know what we can. Do so
that's that's our. Mindset if we're playing somebody like our
duo and just give them them, WORK i think that's
what it's. Great they don't want to gone to one.
Work you, KNOW i try to throw him a back
shoulder if you're staying on top or try, to you,
know throw him on a slant when he's sitting, inside
or throw him on him and cut when his back end.
ZONE i think stuff like. That it gives him good

(01:08:08):
work AND i, think you, know when the season, comes
gonna help.

Speaker 19 (01:08:11):
Out dan Was dan was choking about the four interceptions
and sort of the how did you view that? Day and,
like is that you know obviously at this time of,
year are you testing things, out trying things?

Speaker 15 (01:08:22):
Out, OH i think there's a there's a balance between
trying things out and turning football. OVER i think going
back to that, day a deep, One gonzo fell, off
we had A i'm not getting, football But gonzo fell.
Off gunzo made a good. Play the other one like
bring cover zero and just gotta have cover zero answers
in this. League SO i learned learn with that.

Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
ONE i don't.

Speaker 15 (01:08:42):
REMEMBER i Think hunter got held on one. Self you
can take that stuff with a grain of. Salt at
the same, time you don't turn the football over so
getting in bad. Habits SO i feel Like i've done
a good job of trying to keep the football in
our hands and that's one of our our key.

Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
Focuses and now great moments in.

Speaker 6 (01:08:59):
History you, know anybody under the age of thirty, five you,
know their parents just to have no idea how to, respond,
right you, know it's the burden that that like a
thirty year old has to deal, with like you, know
looking forward, to you, know a weekend at my parents'
house WHERE i have to explain that my, husband you,
know he does actually have a, job.

Speaker 1 (01:09:18):
But he works on the.

Speaker 6 (01:09:19):
Internet they don't know what the internet is, because you,
KNOW i don't know how these people who you, know
somehow put me through college and supported me and EVERYTHING
i did in my.

Speaker 1 (01:09:28):
LIFE i don't know. How AND i live In South
boston AND i don't know how these.

Speaker 6 (01:09:33):
Two rooms managed to put me through college and put
a roof over my head and make sure THAT i
had EVERYTHING i wanted in. Life but NOW i have
to go through the exhaustion of explaining to them WHAT
i actually do for a. Living Like that's my other
Favorite twitter, rant and there was a lot of that
over the. WEEKEND i PROMISE i didn't plan this With.

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
PAUL i get that you can let a manchine just
wind me up and let me. Go that's another great
moment from all right back here And patriots on. FILTERED i.

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
CAN'T i just.

Speaker 1 (01:10:03):
Can't can't it is it is one of my. Pets
eight five, Five pats five hundred is the hotline podcasts
At patriots Dot com is the email. Address newsletter coming
out tomorrow is big. One, OH i still have an answer.

Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
Speaking that's very unlike. You you usually respond to all.

Speaker 1 (01:10:24):
Immediately had a busy. Morning this is a good.

Speaker 8 (01:10:27):
One but speaking of the newsletter last, WEEK'S i briefly
was talking To paul about the newsletter this morning AND
i mentioned last, week's which literally was A paul appreciation
newsletter in honor of his, birthday and.

Speaker 9 (01:10:39):
He had no clue he didn't read.

Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
IT i didn't see all the nice things BECAUSE i.

Speaker 4 (01:10:45):
JUST i THINK i left early Last friday AND i
NEVER i don't THINK i ever read.

Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
It, yeah that's too. BAD i wasted all.

Speaker 7 (01:10:52):
Really nice things about. YOU i, mean we're forced, to BUT.

Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
I was solicited gone to. Head yeah, Okay, well if
you want to get to go back newsletter and all
the newsletters in the, future you can do that by
signing up On patriots dot com SLASH pu. Newsletter you
want to do.

Speaker 5 (01:11:11):
THAT i feel great about my responses this. Week i'm
going to go out on a lem and SAY i
won one.

Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Of the, Questions well you, you and how can you?
Win you And fred should win?

Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
This?

Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Right oh, yeah, NO i. KNOW i don't even know
what the.

Speaker 5 (01:11:22):
QUESTION i Think fred will appreciate my response To fred.

Speaker 9 (01:11:26):
Will appreciate the line of.

Speaker 8 (01:11:27):
Questioning, yeah, YEAH i had fun. RESPONDING i feel strongly
about mine, TOO i have OF.

Speaker 1 (01:11:34):
I don't feel overly strong about. It you can skip,
all you can gloss.

Speaker 9 (01:11:37):
Over Min, well you had good ones THAT i agreed
with on some all, right if you know you know.

Speaker 1 (01:11:42):
Right, yeah you don't want to miss. It patriots dot
com SLASH pu. Newsletter that's how you sign. Up So
wendell In. PENNSYLVANIA i mentioned we might talk about some
off season. Stuff he, said now that the dog days
of THE nfl calendar start the europe good, year allow

(01:12:03):
me to kick off lawn care talk this season, now
And i'll just get up and walk. OUT i went
to college for turf, management And i've worked in golf
in sports turf for the past fifteen. YEARS i once
Heard paul say he mows his. Lawn he will mow
a pass and then turn around and come back on
the same STRIPE i have said. That i've heard him.
Correctly IF i heard him, correctly that is a mowing

(01:12:24):
technique known as backtrack. Mowing you shouldn't do. It it's
one way to go about getting a double. CUT i
had to laugh because it's pretty rare to do. That,
generally if you're going to go through the trouble of double,
cutting you would do it in two different directions to
get a nice pattern like a checkerboard or diamond. CUT
i have to know what Inspired paul to do.

Speaker 4 (01:12:44):
THIS i don't know If i'm doing what He so
you go over.

Speaker 1 (01:12:51):
A strip and then you turn around and you come
back on the same.

Speaker 6 (01:12:53):
Strip, WELL i would just go usually. Backwards oh?

Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Backwards?

Speaker 20 (01:12:59):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Oh why would you do? That you walk backwards the whole?

Speaker 4 (01:13:03):
Strip, no, WELL i don't have a big. YARD i
don't live in a mansion like.

Speaker 6 (01:13:06):
YOU i.

Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
Know but that seems kind of. Weird that's. Weird that's. Weird,
yeah that is. Weird that's. Okay why do you do?

Speaker 20 (01:13:15):
You?

Speaker 12 (01:13:16):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:13:16):
Yeah why?

Speaker 6 (01:13:17):
What?

Speaker 1 (01:13:17):
What BECAUSE i know What i'm going to?

Speaker 6 (01:13:18):
Do so all right in the front in, particular, right
they have two patches of grass in my front, yard
separated by a walkway to my front. Door, okay it
leads to you, know like mulch beds on both, Sides
SO i go to the edge of the, mulch like
IF i wouldn't really have any room.

Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
To there's your. Mistake i'll tell you where you're.

Speaker 4 (01:13:41):
Going let me let me tell you what you did.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
WRONG i. Know let me show you WHAT i. KNOW
i know exactly what you're. Saying you do your border,
first you create a border so you have room to turn.
Around you do a.

Speaker 4 (01:13:56):
BORDER i really, Wouldn't it wouldn't be worth it to do.

Speaker 1 (01:14:00):
That but so it's better to just walk. Backwards, okay all,
right have you guys seen the? Video i'm you're telling
me it's damaging to the. Lawn, no it's better to go.
Back i'm waiting for you to trip. Hard why WOULD
i because you're walking back. Now he's turning and.

Speaker 5 (01:14:12):
Pulling he's turning and he's going to turn Him he's not.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
High, NO i just walked.

Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
Backwards its cly not that, hard all, Right, like unlet's
go for your. Knees, though my equilibrium is not like.
IMBALANCED i, mean it's not that hard to.

Speaker 5 (01:14:25):
Work tell you, tenants.

Speaker 1 (01:14:25):
Appreciate is this? All is this a self propelled push
more or you have To.

Speaker 6 (01:14:31):
No it's self self propelled, propel but it is a push,
more it's NOT i don't have like right, on.

Speaker 9 (01:14:37):
Have you guys seen the video of it's like a roomba?

Speaker 1 (01:14:41):
LAWNMOWER i.

Speaker 9 (01:14:42):
Have it doesn't look like it does a very good.

Speaker 8 (01:14:44):
Job But, Jo i'm skeptical, Too But i'm surprised that
hasn't already been a.

Speaker 6 (01:14:50):
Thing, Yeah i've seen. It i'm, skeptical BUT i also
enjoy mowing a.

Speaker 5 (01:14:54):
LAWN i to you know, WHAT i need to seek
a lawn?

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
Loot what a lawn? Loot what's that?

Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
This so it's like a big flat thing that like
flattens out your. LUNGS i have a lot of patchy.
Grass it's been a long process for, me SO i
need the thing to like flatten it out and fill
in the gaps of the. Grass SO i neighbor has.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
It it makes it your yard look like you have
a carpet and you push THE nat one way.

Speaker 1 (01:15:15):
And then the other.

Speaker 5 (01:15:16):
Way dream does that attach to the?

Speaker 1 (01:15:18):
Mower?

Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
No, no it's like it's like, golf like a long
slip with is like almost different. Levels so when you
push it over the, dirt it spreads it, out but
it keeps it flat and then you can pack it.
Down and so you got to get the. Sand And
i'd ask our friend the emailer, about like what's the
sand soil, mix because you should do a sand soil
mix so you can spread it and then get a
FLAT i thought a lot about this this, fall this,

(01:15:39):
fall going for. It you can't plant grass right. Now
you got to wait till either early spring fall.

Speaker 1 (01:15:44):
FALL i mean you can plant plant grass, now but
you just got it.

Speaker 5 (01:15:48):
Water, yeah AND i don't AND i don't HAVE i
don't have, irrigation SO i JUST i like to do
it the low, maintenance low and, slow AND, i you,
know just mow the weeds and pull them on in.

Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
It so it's a. Process, okay.

Speaker 6 (01:16:01):
That's basically like the whole the whole. Length so like
turning around would take more time than just.

Speaker 4 (01:16:08):
Walking it's you can SO.

Speaker 1 (01:16:12):
I have A i have a bathroom, Match LIKE i
stand on a bathroom mat that's bigger than his.

Speaker 6 (01:16:18):
Lawn, Yes, okay, Again i'm not the.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Mansion it's not a matter of being, rich K it's
big enough to be a.

Speaker 5 (01:16:28):
Lawn though it's not a, patch it's.

Speaker 1 (01:16:29):
A, lawn right the kursh. Manner i'm not sure if
it's big enough to be. Along i've seen people's two
pays the.

Speaker 6 (01:16:37):
Back the back is bigger and on the, BACK i
do turn around right THEN i go SO i walk
forward for the create the.

Speaker 1 (01:16:44):
Border, yeah just go. Around WHAT i do do is.

Speaker 6 (01:16:50):
DO i get the edge out first and go around
and get you, know all the up against the, fence
around the fire, pit around the.

Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
Pool you do that. FIRST i do.

Speaker 14 (01:17:02):
THAT i do.

Speaker 1 (01:17:02):
That most people do that. LAST i do that once a.

Speaker 4 (01:17:04):
Month you don't do that every TIME.

Speaker 5 (01:17:06):
I mow black edging a little bit or.

Speaker 6 (01:17:08):
Yeah listening To, Alex i'm gonna Need mike to.

Speaker 4 (01:17:14):
LISTEN i don't usually drop the not paying.

Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
Attention here's Where i'm With. Paul if you do the
weed back at, first then your lawnmower will pick up
all those. Clippings.

Speaker 6 (01:17:20):
Correct, true good, point, true.

Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
Right, there good.

Speaker 9 (01:17:26):
Point evan take.

Speaker 5 (01:17:27):
Notes i'm going to.

Speaker 7 (01:17:28):
Go mow my lawn after.

Speaker 6 (01:17:29):
This evan is going to be an expert lawnmower when he,
does because he's going to figure out everything that everybody
does and then figure out and then.

Speaker 9 (01:17:37):
You and jes are never going to move to the.

Speaker 7 (01:17:39):
Burbs maybe some DAY i need.

Speaker 5 (01:17:41):
A camera up on top of the house SO i
can get the full view of THE i know what
order to mow it and what TECHNIQUE i need to.

Speaker 4 (01:17:49):
Use it takes me about an, hour not even an, Hour,
like that's how small my?

Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
Lawn that still sounds pretty. Long that's, yeah that it
takes you an.

Speaker 4 (01:17:57):
Hour i'm a little that's you're just saying the front.

Speaker 1 (01:18:00):
Back he's doing it, twice so it should be a.

Speaker 6 (01:18:03):
Hack i'm much more interested rather than your nonsensical. Criticisms
i'm more. Interested and the email of the turf expert
is that?

Speaker 4 (01:18:13):
Bad like is that bad for the low?

Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Level?

Speaker 6 (01:18:15):
OH i don't think he said it, is, No but
that's What i'm just. Wondering what you, said like a double,
Cut like is that? Bad is it to AM i
cutting it too? Low as a result of, That.

Speaker 7 (01:18:25):
It's like when you shave too, Hard, yes you go
rent the?

Speaker 1 (01:18:29):
Grain what are we? Animals? Damn, no wonder it takes
you an. Hour you're doing every.

Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
Piece i'm kind of, meticulous so you can just well
you probably have a ride on more.

Speaker 1 (01:18:42):
Right, NO i. DON'T i have a self propelled BUT
i but you. Don't do you do one?

Speaker 6 (01:18:48):
Swath like do you just go down and it's cut,
properly like there's no once's no.

Speaker 1 (01:18:52):
Stragglers, no then well you turn around and you, overlap
so you do about three or four inches of the same.

Speaker 4 (01:18:59):
Coming there's no stragglers in the.

Speaker 1 (01:19:01):
Middle holidays As andy would call.

Speaker 4 (01:19:04):
Them holidays is what he used to call.

Speaker 1 (01:19:05):
Them SOMETIMES i have to this is a serious. Question
Sometimes i'm missing my. TIME i want to. Know sometimes
you miss and you have to go and hit.

Speaker 4 (01:19:12):
That, yeah BECAUSE i told you my neighbor who Is
stanford And, Son, yeah that lives next.

Speaker 6 (01:19:18):
Door hell of a nice. Guy makes fun of me
all the, time like for wasting my, time, Right AND
i always, say look at you a, line you should
spend a little.

Speaker 1 (01:19:27):
More, no, no you. Can you can go back and.

Speaker 6 (01:19:30):
Forth you just overlap the LAST i want to follow
up from the expert, though no.

Speaker 1 (01:19:35):
OFFENSE i, like, sure.

Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
When you line the wheels up with the previous wheel
lining and move over a, little you're right right overlap. It, yeah,
yeah and you'll have perfect lines up and down the.

Speaker 1 (01:19:44):
Line and then it looks LIKE i have perfect lines
up and.

Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Down my telling, you but if you overlap the wheel
line and you're gonna catch every, straggler and no you.

Speaker 6 (01:19:52):
Won't you might miss one down and hit a slant
and then you're just. Overlapping you're missing. This like you
can have a straggler in, here you, see you get.
It you get a seal, here.

Speaker 1 (01:20:04):
This is a. Ceiling this is.

Speaker 7 (01:20:06):
FASCINATING i.

Speaker 4 (01:20:09):
FALL i do every once in a.

Speaker 6 (01:20:11):
WHILE i almost always go sidewalk to house in the,
front but every once in a WHILE i do switch it.

Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Up, well they say it's good to change your.

Speaker 6 (01:20:19):
Patterns change the, pattern so you should get.

Speaker 1 (01:20:21):
One, yeah you shouldn't do the same pattern every.

Speaker 6 (01:20:23):

You do your lines? Horizontally you can't look out the.
Window how good your lines. Look you can't see you.
Know that's WHY i like WHEN i get to cut my.

Speaker 5 (01:20:40):
Grass.

Speaker 1 (01:20:40):
Bird laurie From, Hennecker New, hampshire says she does the
same thing As. Paul she goes forward and then walks,
backwards especially now with all the rain and the lawn
being so. Long so she does a double, cut but
she does it walking. Backwards most, people if they do
a double, cut they turn around and come back in the.

Speaker 4 (01:20:59):
Back guy do it that way because the back is much.
LONGER i.

Speaker 5 (01:21:02):
MIGHT i might also with the first, CUT i might
go up a little. BIT i might go a little
higher so we don't get. Jammaged and then IF i
Know i'm going back, Over i'll get down to two or.
One BUT i might do a first past, three, four,
five even depending on how long it.

Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
Is i'm just, saying, well if you have a good,
mower you don't have to go. BACK i don't have
a good. Mow you sharpen your. BLADE i have. To
that's you've got to have a sharp, blade and you've
got to make. This you got to make sure the
ccs are. High you don't want to LOW C c
mower because you don't get your especially the website, jamp
the damp ring gets all clogged up in The, yeah all,

(01:21:37):
RIGHT i like.

Speaker 4 (01:21:40):
Cutting that's WHY i do. That the DOUBLE i love.

Speaker 1 (01:21:43):
It it's so.

Speaker 5 (01:21:43):
Satisfying no one.

Speaker 21 (01:21:44):
Bugs you go and fire plow music On. Commodore this
is why you like you're lying up. Things dad will
be outside mowing the.

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
Lawn they'll bug.

to cut it with an electric moment a tree grows
in EVERY i used TO i used to cut it
with an electric.

Speaker 4 (01:22:12):

Cap it's it's nowhere to go after the good, shout,
dude that's a good.

Speaker 7 (01:22:56):
Week it doesn't really get much more like you're not
going to get more any more events than, that like a,
practice AND.

Speaker 5 (01:23:01):
I mean, honestly Like i'd, say you don't even have
to go to the preseason, game like you're gonna get
plenty of action in the joint practice With Jane daniels AND.

Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
I Love Fat.

Speaker 5 (01:23:09):
Debo did you guys see the FOOTAGE i saw some
footage Of Fat debo running around. Yesterday they're, like.

during the course of the, week and you want to
accentuate the ones that don't cost any money and the
one that you actually have to. Pay you, know as
an organization we benefit financially From you might want to skip.

Speaker 1 (01:23:33):

Benefit buy some, CONCESSIONS.

Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
I, said the organization.

Speaker 5 (01:23:37):
Benefits they're probably Some brady swag you can buy at
the pro. Shop but if you just want to watch
a joint practice.

Speaker 4 (01:23:43):
In A hall Of fame induction joint practices are the best.

Speaker 6 (01:23:46):
TAKE i think that are, available no, Question it's, Free
you're up close and, personal and you get a chance
to see TWO nfl teams go at.

Speaker 1 (01:23:55):
It, yeah it's the. Best the best take there is joint,
practice more, electricity excitement because the players have more. Juice
they're showing, off you, know and that's why you end
up getting more, fights you. Know travis In West virginia
a little get off my lawn, email not mowing, it

(01:24:17):
but just boomer. Stuff he. Says people used to say same,
here but now they just say. Same it sounds. Dumb
maybe okay for, texting but not for. Speaking. Okay he
just thought he would write In AND i.

Speaker 4 (01:24:32):
Do like the randomness of that.

Speaker 7 (01:24:33):
Email, yeah that's WHY i put my. HAND i was,
like when did we do that.

Speaker 1 (01:24:37):
Same, same same?

Speaker 4 (01:24:39):
Retweet there's another.

Speaker 6 (01:24:40):
One, FRIEND i Think i've heard you say this in the.
Past like you notice when you when you thank, somebody
what do they?

Speaker 1 (01:24:46):
Say of? Course of? Course, Yeah oh my son gets
so mad at me WHEN i complain about, that because
we'll be at our. RESTAURANT i see see they, said
of course.

Speaker 6 (01:24:55):
Everybody that's the problem with, that you, know you, know
you have to that's why we get this boomer and
THEN i make fun of.

Speaker 1 (01:25:02):
It i'm a matter of, evolving it's a matter of being.

Speaker 6 (01:25:05):
Polite it's, like it's not necessarily like a boomer thing
like we always get mad in front of just, yeah
we get.

Speaker 4 (01:25:12):
It that that's what a lot of people say that
now why?

Speaker 1 (01:25:15):
Right is the? Question and it doesn't bother. Me it's just,
like how did?

Speaker 9 (01:25:17):
That but is it impolite to?

Speaker 20 (01:25:18):
You it?

Speaker 4 (01:25:19):
Is it's not impolite to.

Speaker 1 (01:25:21):
Me to, me it's you didn't acknowledge my thanking. You you,
said of, course of, course what of course always did
that for? You? Right of? Course that's HOW i take.
It WHY i.

Speaker 4 (01:25:31):
DON'T i don't take it as being LIKE i, know
of course you're thinking me do that for?

Speaker 12 (01:25:36):
You?

Speaker 1 (01:25:37):
RIGHT i know your job is to do what you just,
did But i'd like to thank you. Anyway and they, say,

Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
Thanks, Really i'm not worrying about. IT i just wanted
to thank. You i'm not worried WHAT i. THOUGHT i
remembered you going about my. Pleasure my pleasure Was that's,
okay that's a good. ONE i, like that's probably even.

Speaker 5 (01:26:21):
BECOME i think it makes more sense than you're.

Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Welcome that one IS i did something for, you you thank.
Me not only AM i going to acknowledge you thank,
You i'm going to tell you THAT i was pleased
to do.

Speaker 7 (01:26:33):
It all, right that's, Fine LIKE i don't believe you
were pleased to do.

Speaker 6 (01:26:37):
It of, course thing, though is kind of odd IF
i don't find it. IMPOLITE i understand that you're saying you're.
Welcome that's HOW i take. IT i just think it's
odd that it's.

Speaker 1 (01:26:47):
Sort of AND i, noticed and this is probably probably
about a decade, ago a lot of the bros started doing,
this how you doing doing? Well and they would, say
it's just like that doing. Well it was a college. Broth,
well it's.

Speaker 9 (01:27:04):
Incorrect to Say i'm. GOOD i Know i'm, saying but.

Speaker 6 (01:27:07):
There's a lot of things that are grammatically, incorrect acceptable
and that's.

Speaker 1 (01:27:12):
What so what would you. Prefer it's just the way
they think it's doing.

Speaker 9 (01:27:17):
Well they want to show their literate you have to
their appearance.

Speaker 1 (01:27:23):
How they come from the, diphrase that's how they would do. It,
yeah it. Was it was a very broth AND i
don't remember that culture that was, well you were in
the middle of being, embarrassed SO i don't know what
what was?

Speaker 5 (01:27:38):
Anxiety general state of. Embarrassment there is.

Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
A small.

Speaker 7 (01:27:46):
Exactly the best physique back, then back, then you, know.

Speaker 1 (01:27:55):
Basically not you, know onto the. Grass they didn't have
you guys in.

Speaker 6 (01:28:01):
Shape, yeah certain.

Speaker 7 (01:28:02):
Shapes did you have to all shapes run to make the?

Speaker 9 (01:28:05):
Team?

Speaker 7 (01:28:06):
Barely?

Speaker 9 (01:28:07):
Really oh?

Speaker 5 (01:28:09):
Man any thoughts from the crew on On Brian wilson's
passing music. Legend we do talk a little music.

Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
HERE i didn't know it was still, alive but you, KNOW.

Speaker 6 (01:28:16):
Rp that's a tough one. Though that's a special the
beach boy like like The Beach boys or. NOT i,
Do but if you, DON'T i. Get but you have
to recognize, Greatness, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:28:27):
GREATNESS i love that full house.

Speaker 5 (01:28:28):
Impact, yeah my dad had this Album spirit Of, america
which was a random. Thing BUT i just remember listening
to that over and, over like that album and a
lot Of Beach boys.

Speaker 6 (01:28:39):
Music LIKE i read a comment On twitter yesterday AND
i DON'T i don't remember who did, it and it
was very it was much more articulate than When i'm
going to, recap but just sort of just he made
you want to be In, california, right like just the
way you know he put together music and saying of

(01:29:00):
The West coast made you want to be In.

Speaker 4 (01:29:02):
California, YEAH i think.

Speaker 5 (01:29:03):
That's A that's WHY i THINK i went To california
and married A california.

Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
Girl you, know Because, BRIAN i Love california. Girls WHEN
i was a, kid this is one of my favorite.
Songs SO i don't. Know subconscious El Ellen wisconsin says,
uh saying of course means of COURSE i did that for.
You similarly to no, problem indicating that doing the thing
wasn't a, Problem you're welcome makes it seem like the

(01:29:27):
ask was a bigger. LIFT i think both are actually
more polite than saying you're. WELCOME i completely disagree now
what she's, saying completely. Disagree, No i'm saying that What i'm,
saying what you did was a big lift AND i appreciate,
it and.

Speaker 6 (01:29:42):
Okay i'm going to like jump on this. Hole AND
i don't know If el meant it this way or.
Not but in continuing with the bashing of the older,
generation Like fred AND I i very easy when we
say these things and don't understand, where of course came.
From it's we're not telling you that we don't understand
what it. Means LIKE i, get, Like i'm not a.

(01:30:05):
MORON i get from context what you're. Saying but, like
of course does that mean he likes?

Speaker 12 (01:30:10):
Me?

Speaker 1 (01:30:10):
Right just what does you mean by? That, LIKE i get.

Speaker 6 (01:30:13):
It he's saying you're. WELCOME i understand. It he's telling
you that it wasn't a big deal That i'm happy
to do all those, Things like.

Speaker 4 (01:30:21):
We don't even have explained to. Us we JUST i
want the explanation to be.

Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
When you start and how did it a? MOVIE a
lot of the stuff comes from songs these days or
it always? Did you? Know pop? Culture that's definitely, true you,
know but like where did of course come? From?

Speaker 9 (01:30:37):
Hospitality? Right, okay but it's my.

Speaker 1 (01:30:40):
Job THAT i you, KNOW i agree With.

Speaker 7 (01:30:44):
HILL i think that the origin is like it's like your,
show like the person is showing like how like like there.

Speaker 17 (01:30:51):
Was not a.

Speaker 9 (01:30:52):
Problem i'm.

Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
You, know how was your?

Speaker 1 (01:30:56):
Welcome not saying of course they did. It, NO i
know it's your job to do.

Speaker 7 (01:31:00):
IT i guess said that like it makes it sound
like it's a big, lift like, oh, yeah you're, welcome
LIKE i had to go do that for.

Speaker 1 (01:31:06):
You but of course it's like you're.

Speaker 4 (01:31:08):
Welcome does not make it sound.

Speaker 9 (01:31:12):
You're welcome.

Speaker 8 (01:31:12):
Sarcastic like have you ever held the door open for
someone and they just waltz through and you're, like you're.

Speaker 1 (01:31:17):
Welcome that's.

Speaker 9 (01:31:18):
Different you can't say because that doesn't make any. Sense
you say you're, welcome that.

Speaker 1 (01:31:24):
HAPPENS i would absolutely.

Speaker 6 (01:31:26):
Say you wouldn't, say of, course no, worries my. Pleasure,
YEAH i would, say but you say that in a
mocking tone to let the person know.

Speaker 1 (01:31:34):
LIKE i just don't. SAY i think that Point alex
proves That i'm, Right, like you wouldn't sarcastically to show
somebody that didn't open the door by saying no worries
or no. Problem you would say you're welcome or my,
pleasure no.

Speaker 5 (01:31:53):
Worries the show, Right i've got worries because you just
walk through the door without thank.

Speaker 1 (01:31:57):
You, Man i'm worried about. It SO i think you
just well you're saying, no the's.

Speaker 7 (01:32:01):
Sarcastic you're like, here everybody's, rude, Right so THAT i
do that constantly because no one says thank you. Anymore,
yeah like you hold a, door and especially like In.

Speaker 6 (01:32:12):
Boston like, THAT i thank you if you hold a.
Door but how many times do you walk by someone
and they're, like, hey how you? Doing and they just
like WANT i mean, people AND i always go, good.

Speaker 8 (01:32:20):
Thanks this is one that the person that smiles and
says hello and doesn't get one back then to be
the one that doesn't smell.

Speaker 1 (01:32:27):
Back that's my.

Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
Philosophy BUT i don't think it's hard to be a
human being.

Speaker 8 (01:32:31):
If i'm holding the door for someone and it's like
a double door situation and you don't say thank you
the first.

Speaker 9 (01:32:35):
Time the second, Time i'm letting, this, WELL i oh.

Speaker 1 (01:32:38):
NICE i KNOW i do it all the time, Too
BUT i think that people should stop in passing ask
the question how you're? Doing how you?

Speaker 4 (01:32:49):
Doing that's the point that's above and.

Speaker 1 (01:32:51):
Beyond you're not going to stop and like find, out
so you should just Say, hey how you, know hello or?
Whatever but how you're? Doing, mean, LIKE i want to
know how you're. DOING i really don't.

Speaker 6 (01:33:01):
If you know, somebody or if you don't know, SOMEBODY
i say, so but you don't know the person you're,
Passing like either there's a lot of people that work here.

Speaker 1 (01:33:10):
THAT i don't, know right but either, Way like IF
i would never walk by.

Speaker 4 (01:33:13):
Someone and not acknowledge That i'm walking, about, NO i
always do.

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
That i'm Just i'm saying the acknowledgment shouldn't in, passing
shouldn't be how are you?

Speaker 4 (01:33:20):
Doing as an, example Maybe Bill, belichick.

Speaker 1 (01:33:24):
Right you, know, like what's what's the point of asking
somebody how they're doing if you're not going to stop
and find, out, right AM i? AM i right?

Speaker 6 (01:33:33):
There or, no yeah you're if it's somebody you, know
AND i WOULD i would absolutely stop and say how you?

Speaker 4 (01:33:38):
Doing oh, yeah BECAUSE i.

Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
Care if you've got to, stop then that's, Fine i'm
saying in, PASSING i don't think that's the right, acknowledgement.

Speaker 5 (01:33:45):
Right, well but, yeah when people call in here and they're,
like how you, Doing, paul you'll be like, me that's
a little.

Speaker 1 (01:33:51):
Different the media just being.

Speaker 6 (01:33:52):
Honest, well usually it is LIKE i don't you.

Speaker 1 (01:33:56):
Know if there's someone like if someone passed you and
like how you, doing and you, say, oh let me
tell you, how they'd be LIKE i gotta. GO i
really didn't want to. KNOW i was just saying that there's.

Speaker 5 (01:34:07):
Hello that's why you guys make fun of. You But
i'm a big, Hello, Hey, hello good to see.

Speaker 4 (01:34:12):
YOU i don't make fun of.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
You but that's, like you, know like that's hell WHEN.

Speaker 5 (01:34:16):
I go because there's a lot of like long hallways
and you see someone's coming.

Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
Up, yeah WELL i.

Speaker 4 (01:34:25):
Look how many times does someone.

Speaker 8 (01:34:26):
Gets really, long really long? Hallway you can, say, hey
hell are you because there's enough.

Speaker 6 (01:34:30):
Times but how many times does, someone when you're in
that situation rip out the phone and pretend they're looking
at the.

Speaker 4 (01:34:35):
Phone it's not that hard to be a human.

Speaker 1 (01:34:37):
BEING i think the head nod is. Fine you don't
have to say anything that's like that's, hey.

Speaker 7 (01:34:43):
Yeah i'm big on the head. NOD i don't really
want to talk to people IF i don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:34:47):
Them i'm just gonna, say, hey how you.

Speaker 1 (01:34:49):
Doing the problem with the head nod is did they see?

Speaker 12 (01:34:52):
It?

Speaker 5 (01:34:52):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:34:53):
WELL i usually a head. NOD i try. To now
we've turned it into a curbyr. Enthusiasm so now are
they walking by and, say, oh you didn't do anything
LIKE i gave you the head. None that's that's WHY
i lock on The Larry, david his whole life is
this is very curbly. Enthusiasm but just like a good,
morning he's Not. George. HELLO i locked it on for
the whole.

Speaker 5 (01:35:13):
Distance we're walking towards each, other AND i have a
big dumb smile on my face AND i just stare
at you do have a big dumb, smile and then
away from the look at.

Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
Me AND i, say he's an laborator.

Speaker 7 (01:35:21):
Retriever.

Speaker 6 (01:35:22):
HELLO i, mean we spend a good amount of time
with each, other but what's the First mike AND i
are the first two in all every. Day and if
he's in, first you, KNOW i Ala, mick you. Know
and If i'm in, First, Hello, Hello, hello and then
we debrief on you, know the randomness of watching like
The bilo commercial from the night before we have a,

(01:35:43):
pizza you, know something?

Speaker 1 (01:35:44):
Stupid shut out The Bilos pascal stupid. Commercial pascal writes in,
uh he, says the last TIME i wrote IN i
found out that SOMETHING i THOUGHT i had done for
over a decade with one hundred percent effect of, this
which is squeezing the soap sliver into the new, soap
actually doesn't. Work thank, You fred for the. Truthiness over

(01:36:06):
the last week or, So i've gone to daily meetings
with my therapist to deal with WHAT i was scared
was my own delusions and thinking was actually something that.
Worked in the, END i decided to take a couple
of pictures a few days apart to see IF i
was secretly going. Insane turns, out, No i'm not. Insane
it really has worked for me one hundred percent of
the time for over a. Decade Maybe, fred you should

(01:36:29):
figure out why you're unable to do something so seemingly
simple as squeezing two pieces of soap. Together and he
does send a picture of the soap squeezed Into uh,
SO i don't know what kind of soap you're, using but,
YEAH i. Don't it looks Like i'm telling You i've
tried that and they still come. Apart Maybe, Fred come, on,

(01:36:57):
yea so maybe your brand, there, Shower.

Speaker 7 (01:37:00):
So, yeah just let's just leave your soap stuff up to,
yourself like that's a private. CONVERSATION i think about.

Speaker 1 (01:37:10):
It of, course of course my. PLEASURE i told you
we're gonna have a little. Fun justin writes in what's
everyone's thoughts on wearing a cap? INDOORS i know the
courtesy of taking it off at, dinner but some folks
find it disrespectful when wearing it inside any. Building what's
your opinion people find that? Disrespectful oh, yeah we work in. Sports,

(01:37:34):
like if you were at a restaurant back in the,
day you would not wear a. Hat, ever SO i
do not to this. DAY i do not eat.

Speaker 8 (01:37:42):
Well there's a lot of restaurants that don't let you
in with the hot yeah really, yeah, YEAH i went
to two of them last weekend.

Speaker 1 (01:37:47):
EATING i do.

Speaker 4 (01:37:48):
Not BUT i don't think it's like IF i came
to work THEN i was, on like on the radio
right now with a hat. ON i don't think that's Disrespect, Yeah,
like we have a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:37:57):
Of there's certain people who cover or The patriots in
the press box who consist on wearing a ball cap
while they're. Working, well the.

Speaker 7 (01:38:06):
Problem that the problem THAT i would have is like
if you wear a, hat then you get hat, head
and then IF i have to take it off and
my hair.

Speaker 1 (01:38:12):
Is gonna look. Right so it's once it's, on it's on,
Right LIKE i you, KNOW.

Speaker 7 (01:38:17):
I make that decision in the mornings it's a hat
day or is it's not a hat?

Speaker 6 (01:38:20):
Day and then once it's a hat, Day no hat
at the dinner table was a, big big one from.

Speaker 1 (01:38:27):
Fruit oh, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:38:28):
Ginger my mother would not allow us to wear hats
at the dinner, table and that is always stuck with.
Me AND i don't care if it's a restaurant that's.
FANCY i, MEAN i wouldn't go to a fancy restaurant
with a hat on in the first. Place BUT i
always take my even training, camp when you sit, DOWN
i usually put my hat on my.

Speaker 9 (01:38:44):
KNEES i love a restaurant with a dress.

Speaker 4 (01:38:46):
CODE i don't even put it on the. TABLE i
THINK i went to.

Speaker 8 (01:38:48):
A restaurant this weekend that was, like went beyond the dress.
Code they were, like if you have small, children maybe
leave them at.

Speaker 9 (01:38:53):

to be telling my business. Again vegas has a lot
of dress code restaurants to.

Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
Now back in the day in, church if you're a,
man you could not wear a, hat but if you're
a woman you had to wear a. Hat that's.

Speaker 8 (01:39:17):
True it's more it's like a woman with a cute
little like not Quite Kentucky derby, hat but.

Speaker 1 (01:39:23):
Sometimes it looked like a. Napkin, yeah but they had
to have something on their.

Speaker 6 (01:39:26):
Heads that's definitely.

Speaker 9 (01:39:28):
Before was that a little jackie o?

Speaker 7 (01:39:30):
Hat was that something? Recently A jewish? Thing and, uh
the synagogue still separated men from women, really AND i
was Like, orthodox like we need to work on, this
like this is not like come, on like what are
we doing like that the women were like up in the.
BALCONY i was, like this is not.

Speaker 5 (01:39:51):
Okay very Large Orthodox jewish population and you know they
had the full like for half outfits in.

Speaker 7 (01:40:00):

Speaker 1 (01:40:02):
Different, yeah, yeah they HAD.

Speaker 5 (01:40:04):
I remember they had a concert in the neighborhood and
they had all the member to one, side all the
women to another.

Speaker 4 (01:40:08):
Side that's weird to.

Speaker 1 (01:40:09):
Me, yeah but there.

Speaker 12 (01:40:11):
Was.

Speaker 7 (01:40:12):
Yeah orthodox temples are segregated by.

Speaker 6 (01:40:16):
Gender.

Speaker 1 (01:40:17):
OH i remember the first TIME i went to uh
uh you, know uh a synagogue that Had orthodox you
know people in, it and it was the bowing.

Speaker 5 (01:40:29):
And the whole, thing and it got crazy costumes and
COSTUME i don't know what they're, called but Every saturday
morning you see, everybody yeah there.

Speaker 7 (01:40:38):
Does you don't see a ton of those types Of jews,
anymore to be honest with.

Speaker 1 (01:40:42):
It was a very conteen section of like third in
the Broad there was one guy and, uh like he
was kind of making a, scene like doing his own.
Prayer AND i asked somebody like. That he, said you're
not supposed to do.

Speaker 7 (01:40:53):
That, well it depends like like certain, prayers like you,
know there's bowing.

Speaker 22 (01:40:57):
Or oh yeah, no but this guy was like doing
his own service from yeah, NO i think it depends on,
what you, know what part of the ceremony it's it,
is or if it's you, know Whatever.

Speaker 1 (01:41:08):
Claire writes In. Chicago pope, Continued she, says, hello everyone ever.
Read uh wanted to call, in BUT i. Couldn't So
i've been thinking about.

Speaker 6 (01:41:18):
This.

Speaker 1 (01:41:19):
Fred you would need to play The pope. Character deuce
is that, handsome smart but snarky sidekick who was a
lower level. Clergyman with all due, Respect evan is a
guest star rabbi with exceptional analytical skills that they bring
in for extra help on tricky.

Speaker 9 (01:41:34):
Cases or you could be like the forensic.

Speaker 1 (01:41:37):
Nerd, Yeah alex is super, pretty BUT i think casting
her as the hot nun would be. INAPPROPRIATE i Think
alex And paul would have to Be Chicago cops partners
who work With pope And deuce And marine would be
the tech, guy the super cool techie hacker kind of
guy that works With alex And paul At CHICAGO pd

(01:41:59):
but moonlights The pope. CASES i don't like. IT i
don't like.

Speaker 5 (01:42:02):
IT i don't want to be in the SIDE i
want to Be i'm like a. Cleaner i'm like the
guy you call when you got a. Problem they call
me the aultar. Boy, yeah bring the altar.

Speaker 1 (01:42:11):
Boy in and THEN i come in AND i you,
know when we got. It so you're here the.

Speaker 9 (01:42:15):
Wolf, Yeah claire's gonna need like a co writer credit.

Speaker 1 (01:42:18):
ON i like. It you had a lot of. IDEAS
i do the dirty.

Speaker 5 (01:42:24):
Jobs that's So Father frank can keep his hands. Clean
you know It's i'm breaking any.

Speaker 1 (01:42:27):
Commandments bring him to.

Speaker 5 (01:42:29):
Like whatever needs to be, Done, evan whatever needs to be, done.

Speaker 7 (01:42:31):
Like a trash compactor type of.

Speaker 1 (01:42:33):
Thing, absolutely, absolutely whatever needs to be, done just make
sure you go to. Confession so how does it.

Speaker 6 (01:42:42):
Work when the pope tells you to do whatever you
had to, do then you go to see the pope
to absolve you of your sense.

Speaker 5 (01:42:49):
Exactly that's the. Scam that's how it.

Speaker 1 (01:42:52):
Works it's, like go kill these? People would you do?

Speaker 6 (01:42:55):
Now i'm also, clear you Know alex AND, i as
As stabler And, benson like are we looking for improprieties
here or are we looking to make sure that we
keep them out of harms to be?

Speaker 5 (01:43:09):
Done that's, well that's the conflict that you guys have
because you, Know Father fred is doing good for the,
city but at the same time he's cutting some.

Speaker 1 (01:43:14):
Corners he's like a little way to do. Something It's CHICAGO.

Speaker 6 (01:43:17):
Pd it's Like voight was constantly on that, line straddling you,
know we.

Speaker 5 (01:43:23):
Could put another level to, it like maybe you're an
atheist and that's like another depth to your, character.

Speaker 1 (01:43:27):
Like you don't you don't buy all this? Stuff you know,
that right, Too, right it's just another. Angle and then
there's just and there's certain moments in each season where
The paul's character the, atheist like maybe there is a
guy you, know but then he goes back character.

Speaker 5 (01:43:41):
Development, yeah and then like they had last scene is
like you, Know paul walking into the church or. Something
that's the VERY i go.

Speaker 4 (01:43:46):
TO i go to See, fred you know for.

Speaker 8 (01:43:48):
Council now we're like really Towing chicago P d BECAUSE
i think that guy's a. Scientologists oh really, yeah really
we would not guess, it But i'm pretty sure he's a.

Speaker 6 (01:43:57):
Scientologist he's a Great that guy's a great.

Speaker 1 (01:44:00):
Character he is what a great. Character his voice is so.
Good your stories nobody nobody Knows NETWORK tv, like but you,
know like you never Seen chicago really never never once
never once.

Speaker 9 (01:44:16):
Crossover. EPISODES i watch a lot.

Speaker 4 (01:44:18):
Of streaming stuff, too THOUGH i don't.

Speaker 1 (01:44:19):
Know you just watch a lot of the remote at.
Night click out excellent and, yeah it's, great it's, excellent
savoring that very good, stuff good, stuff.

Speaker 7 (01:44:32):
Oversaturation but it's on The Star wars.

Speaker 5 (01:44:35):
Stuff it's more.

Speaker 1 (01:44:36):
Different it's, different start of a, revolution it's. Different so
you you want to end, It no More Star. Wars that's.
It it's. Over none of the.

Speaker 7 (01:44:44):
Spinoffs what are they going to?

Speaker 1 (01:44:46):
Do keep redoing what they've already. Done how CAN i
issue if you never go? AWAY i KNOW i respect
some of, that AND i mean the six seven, eight
verse seven and nine THEY i, mean it's just.

Speaker 5 (01:44:56):
Deplorable BUT i really like Between rogue one And or
and The, mandalorians those are.

Speaker 1 (01:45:02):
GREAT i Like Boba. FETT i love the whole backstory
Of Bobo, fett AND i like The alcolade. Too it
didn't get, renewed BUT i like.

Speaker 5 (01:45:10):
THAT i didn't get through that.

Speaker 1 (01:45:11):
One jeffrey And canada writes it. Again sorry for the two,
emails BUT i had to weigh in on the phones
at major. EVENTS i read research one time that said
you should limit your phone at a major sporting event or.
Concert just watch it with your eyes and if it's,
memorable your mind will remember. It it's that's its. Job
but if you watch the game through your, phone it's

(01:45:33):
much less likely to create a core. MEMORY i BELIEVE
i agree with that one hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:45:37):
PERCENT i think that makes sense on.

Speaker 1 (01:45:38):
Me so take a few pictures and videos and then
put it away and. Enjoy phones are ruining, us he
says as he types this on his.

Speaker 7 (01:45:45):
Phone that's why people do. It though people are doing
it so they can post it on their social.

Speaker 1 (01:45:49):
Media.

Speaker 8 (01:45:50):
YEAH i went to See Bill burr At fenway and
they make you put your phones in those little like
lock pouches because it's a comedy.

Speaker 1 (01:45:57):
Show it was.

Speaker 9 (01:45:58):
Awesome, yeah no.

Speaker 5 (01:46:00):
Distraction it was overwhelming last night THOUGH i hadn't been
a concert in a. While it's just the number of,
selfies the number of. Likes JUST i, Mean i've been
guilty of that.

Speaker 1 (01:46:09):
TOO i, like.

Speaker 5 (01:46:12):
LIKE i like to just maybe catch a moment of,
something LIKE i think During brady AND i had caught
a couple just. Moments but like the amount of people
that are Just i'm recording this whole.

Speaker 1 (01:46:21):
Tomorrow evan's, right it's just for their social, media but
like it takes away from the other people's.

Speaker 7 (01:46:26):
ENJOYMENT i honestly believe. That like we were At Kendrick
lamar and like the people around, us like they're not
paying attention to what's actually going. On they're just taking
videos and selfies and all this kind of. Stuff and it's,
LIKE i was really looking forward to this. Concert so
can you like stop like goofing off.

Speaker 1 (01:46:41):
And like let me.

Speaker 7 (01:46:44):
Usual or you, know you go to a game and
this happens all the time with basketball because there's time
out and they set up the, moment and so like
they think that there's a your anticipation of like a
game winning shot or something like. That so everybody is
watching it with their phones, out so that if you,
Know Jason tatum hits a buzzer, beater they can all
go post it on all their Social that.

Speaker 6 (01:47:04):
Doesn't make any sense to me that, one LIKE i,
get like you go to a, game when you go
to a, concert you take a picture scene, cetter not
to Steal Mike, rees's you, know but scene cetter.

Speaker 4 (01:47:13):
Picture maybe you maybe a, selfie.

Speaker 1 (01:47:16):
But not watch establishing.

Speaker 4 (01:47:17):
Shot what do you need to get the buzzer beater?
For that is going to be?

Speaker 6 (01:47:20):
Everywhere, like If Jason tatum hits a buzzer, beater you're
gonna have that at your disposal any way you, want
do you think and by the.

Speaker 1 (01:47:27):
Way it'll look better than what it does on your? Phone?

Speaker 5 (01:47:29):
Correct do you think it would have occurred to you
if we were more into phones back in two thousand
and one when Vine terry was lining up that kick
and you were in the end zone of, like would
that be a moment that maybe you said, no this
would be kind of.

Speaker 1 (01:47:41):
COOL i would be so fixated on WATCHING i wouldn't
think of you BECAUSE i don't do it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:46):
NOW i don't think to do it, now So i'm
sure SURE i wouldn't have done it.

Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
Then it is funny for.

Speaker 7 (01:47:50):
Me the light bulbs are cool, Though LIKE i kick
off at the Super bowl and, like and that doesn't
really happen as much anymore.

Speaker 5 (01:47:56):
EITHER i guess you guys have witnessed in person because
you went to super. Bowls that's, So i've been told
many ICONIC nfl moments you know that you were right there, for.

Speaker 1 (01:48:06):
AND i remember. THEM i don't need to go what
what didn't that look? Like you, know and you can, say,
well what happens if someday you have? Dementia well IF
i have to, MENTION i don't know how to use
my phone, either so, like BUT i, know BUT i,
understand like what he's saying about creating that core you
have to see.

Speaker 7 (01:48:23):
It social media cloud has nothing to do with remembering
it or showing.

Speaker 5 (01:48:29):
It the perfect scenario was that your old, age you
sit with your grandson and you're, LIKE i was right
here for this, iconic UNFORGETTABLE nfl, Moment LIKE i think,
that like, ALL i understand why someone would maybe want
to have that, Recorded but you.

Speaker 1 (01:48:42):
Guys to, GLORY i KNOW i got all six of.
Them yeah, yeah how close to have pictures of that
any of the Game andrew has wants to chime in
on a few. Subjects he, Says Father fred's take on
responses to a thank you is an interesting. CONVERSATION i

(01:49:03):
think any acknowledgment is absolutely, acceptable whereas a lack of
acknowledgement is. IMPOLITE i, agree of, course is a simplified of,
COURSE i would do that for, you happy to. Help
we know what it.

Speaker 6 (01:49:15):
Means, again don't need the, explanation AND i agree that
that is perfectly. Fine, Yes i'm curious as to the.

Speaker 4 (01:49:22):
Origin.

Speaker 1 (01:49:22):
Right silicon loof is are ideal for cutting down bacteria
and exfoliating. Skin the wife loves. Them i'm slower to
come around to them Because i'm not as much of
a sudsy. Lather are your sudsy? Leather? Guy i'm.

Speaker 5 (01:49:37):
NOT i like to make the loof of travel to
places that my hands still need to.

Speaker 1 (01:49:43):
Go, YEAH i just. NEED i just like to smell. Smeal,
MAINLY i.

Speaker 8 (01:49:47):
Would like An african net sponge it's like a, loofa
but instead of being bunched up, together it's really.

Speaker 4 (01:49:52):
Long so my, wife you could use An african nets.

Speaker 1 (01:49:56):
Sponge so my, wife who was, black says that white
people don't wash their, legs AND i. DON'T i. DO
i don't wash your legs. SOMETIMES i don't really Unless
i've been like out gardening or something and that they're,
like like scrub, them, right but like, UP i JUST
i just the soaps dripping down on. Them Many erry

(01:50:18):
felt a bit about everything goes back the. Forearms the,
forearms those are the cleanest things in my body BECAUSE
i always hit every one's, arms, right.

Speaker 10 (01:50:31):
Because when the legs so we do, undergrads you're more
aware of keeping things groomed down.

Speaker 1 (01:50:39):
There oh, YEAH i mean it's a lot to speak
with big. Job there's certain areas where you know you
have to pay a little bit more attention.

Speaker 9 (01:50:46):
To, right you got to just keep smelling it.

Speaker 17 (01:50:48):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:50:49):
Right on the topic of running run out, SONGS i
love classic, rock but it needs to evolve from what
we've always. Had it was mentioned in, passing but there
are several songs from Food fighters that will work. Perfectly
The pretender comes to. Mind still sad By evan's take
on modern. Music former RADIO dj, here there's a ton

(01:51:11):
of great live, artists BUT i do agree not many
have the level of popularity as AC dc Or guns Of,
Roses guns And. Roses, okay so you kind of agree
With Evan. Alex you Know tate McCrae's Sports.

Speaker 4 (01:51:25):
Car it's a bad.

Speaker 1 (01:51:27):
Song it's not a great. SONG i, agree AND i
like that kind of stuff. Usually but the lead.

Speaker 6 (01:51:33):
Into that would be, good good walk in, music but
it's it's too, short it would have to be looped and.
Whatnot but it's got kind of an interesting like gets
you sort of, yeah get you going the.

Speaker 9 (01:51:45):
BEGINNING i think it's just tough to have like a
young girl pop.

Speaker 1 (01:51:48):
Stars oh you could never you could never do. It it's,
tough you could never ever do.

Speaker 7 (01:51:52):
THAT i really wanted to like that song, too BECAUSE
i like the it's like a guilty pleasure of. Mine
is like girl pop, Music Taylor, swift that type of.
STUFF i Turned, yeah MAYBE i turned that on AND
i was, like, oh, man like this is not WHAT
i thought it was gonna.

Speaker 5 (01:52:08):
BE i was.

Speaker 6 (01:52:08):
Disappointed If Sabrina copperenter called my son WILL i don't
think we'd ever see him. Again, REALLY i think he'd
be so, gone like, yep peace, out. Bro sabrina just
Called i'm.

Speaker 1 (01:52:18):
OUT i, MEAN i get it.

Speaker 12 (01:52:23):
My.

Speaker 4 (01:52:23):
INSIDE i was mad at him for.

Speaker 1 (01:52:25):
It who's?

Speaker 6 (01:52:27):
She i'm?

Speaker 7 (01:52:28):
Singer So?

Speaker 1 (01:52:29):
Espresso hi He fred high. Heat, well, okay she's very.

Speaker 5 (01:52:33):
SMALL i don't know if you say she definitely likes
to tell you about it to every every song.

Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
Is, NO i don't.

Speaker 5 (01:52:44):
Know do you?

Speaker 1 (01:52:44):
Know Not? Espresso you have to? Know how does it?
Go i'm not, It, espresso GUESS i don't think so,
Yeah i'm not. Doing isn't that? SWEET i guess so,
YEAH i don't. Know it's only maybe that's me IS
i don't? Know play it you can do like a little. Bit, no, no, no,

(01:53:07):
no we.

Speaker 4 (01:53:08):
Shouldn't i'll playing for you after.

Speaker 5 (01:53:11):
Drive just turn on the radio when you net car
today and within the next four minutes it will probably come.

Speaker 1 (01:53:17):
On, CLAIRE i believe you've never heard that. Song, yes
we're not. SINGING i might. Have i've yet to hear
what it sounds. Like claire, says, okay that was that
serious hide face, moment du, SAYING i like my loofa
to go where my hands Don't it's, true let's, See, Joe,

(01:53:40):
Joe Joe, hardle, honestly please stop holding the. DOOR i
don't want a muster enthusiasm to thank someone for doing
something THAT i wouldn't have cared about having to do. Myself,
Wow joe just, Hating.

Speaker 7 (01:53:55):
Like if we're going in at the same, Time like
what AM i supposed to?

Speaker 1 (01:53:59):
Do like why wouldn't you want to hold the? Door
wait it shut? First like he just stops five feet
from the door and waits.

Speaker 10 (01:54:05):
For him a.

Speaker 1 (01:54:06):
Show BUT.

Speaker 6 (01:54:09):
I struggle with the amount of. Time oh, yeah when is?
It when is the person too far away to stop and?
Hold you know what happened to me?

Speaker 1 (01:54:17):
Today what's that? DISTANCE i think it's about ten FEET i.

Speaker 9 (01:54:20):
Was walking into.

Speaker 8 (01:54:23):
CALCULATED i was walking in today and someone was leaving
the building and it was that uncomfortable distance and they
let the door.

Speaker 9 (01:54:29):
Close the guy returned to open the door for me ran.
Back they would have done that for, Micro definitely.

Speaker 5 (01:54:35):
Not i've had some good jokest at that same door
where someone's a little bit far, away and then Then
i'll start to hold it and they'll give me like the,
oh and then they start to speed up a little. Bit,
yeah it's all good to get some, sun extra, sun no,
problem you, know make them no, worries no, worries of,
course my. Pleasure but don't you love when people do?

Speaker 12 (01:54:52):
That?

Speaker 14 (01:54:52):
Lot they do.

Speaker 1 (01:54:53):
THAT i do. That that's, like don't worry about. IT i,
say it's gonna be a. While he.

Speaker 6 (01:54:59):
Stop but you know What i'm talking, About like when you're, Awkward,
yeah the person's right, there.

Speaker 9 (01:55:05):
Then in, DOUBT i just.

Speaker 7 (01:55:06):
Wait it happens a.

Speaker 9 (01:55:07):
Lot what's five more.

Speaker 1 (01:55:08):
Seconds BUT i can be as cranky as, anyone But
i'm not With. JOE i will hold the door for.
Somebody you, KNOW i don't really see WHAT i.

Speaker 8 (01:55:18):
DON'T i DON'T i don't want to See joe in
the situation getting the door closed on.

Speaker 6 (01:55:22):
Him I'm i'm supposed to. Do you're describing something different
if someone actually close the door on.

Speaker 8 (01:55:28):
You, No but like if it's a heavy, door it's
gonna just like right on your arm and then you
have to catch it mid close and push it like, well.

Speaker 5 (01:55:38):
That's like extreme because you're like right in back if you're.

Speaker 9 (01:55:40):
Right behind, someone if you're right behind, THEY i don't
know if it's the awkward time.

Speaker 1 (01:55:46):
Fever here's WHAT i don't. Like you're in a busy
city street or something and you're going into a store or,
whatever and there's a lot of people behind, you so
you hold the door, open and people behind you just
start walking. In it's, like, no, no, no, no hold
on this off to. You i'm not holding the door for.
Everybody that's like when you're.

Speaker 7 (01:56:05):
Driving it's like you, know one at a, time, right
it's not like one.

Speaker 1 (01:56:08):
PERSON i have a million.

Speaker 6 (01:56:12):
Now so you're walking into a, restaurant, right and you
get there and you open the, door and there's another
family coming right behind, you so it's only polite you
hold the. Door, however my family's going to hit the host, first,
Correct like it's. Detiquette if you let the door open for,

(01:56:32):
Me i'm gonna thank you for leaving the door open for.

Speaker 4 (01:56:35):
Me i'm gonna then get off to the. Side, no
you check in, first that's.

Speaker 8 (01:56:39):
Right, well in that, case you shouldn't do like. That
i'm gonna hold it as you walk. By i'm going
to hold it for you to pass it off to.
You AND i think you hold the door for the.
Women but once there's a man coming in the next,
party that.

Speaker 1 (01:56:51):
They should take. It he should take he should take the.

Speaker 9 (01:56:53):
Door they should the man of the next family should take.

Speaker 6 (01:56:56):
It but there has been like times where you open
the door and you're, like oh the whole. Family, yeah, yeah,
YEAH i head, in but you should let have you
had that.

Speaker 1 (01:57:03):
Happen, no in, general that's the way BECAUSE i can
